Sandy's Fearow flew off and soared fast into the air and right up high into the sky... Flying fast and quick. She made it over to where Team Aqua's battalion was said to be and unleashed a Whirlwind and then a Sky Attack. Following with a Aerial Ace and Steel Wing. Anything to bring their advancement down to a crawl...
Mandibuzz went off to attack the battalion with Toxic and then Brave Bird. Aiming it right at the battalion and centered the full force of the attack. She didn't waste any time as she also let off a Bone Rush as well...
But while the front was being taken and a defense line was being performed to keep Team Aqua's Battalion at a stand-still...
The Concert pressed on and made the line to see it's way to a very peaceful and enjoyable conclusion... which was only a moment or so away...
Donald was backstage during the concert's closing set after receiving a warning from his Espeon. "Alright, it's time to show them we mean business," he stated, "Porygon-Z, deploy Cyber-Klefki to all devices connected to Team Aqua's network servers, set its timer for twenty minutes and execute Code: Fast Pace." Cyber-Klefki is a ransomware program developed by Donald originally as a trap against scammers.
"Executing c-c-c-c-commands," Porygon-Z acknowledged before disappearing into Donald's phone, "Cyber-Zamazenta and Cyber-Watchog set to m-m-m-m-maximum level of security. Cyber-Yveltal ready to d-d-d-d-deploy in T-minus twenty minutes." Cyber-Yveltal is a program Donald wrote that wrote disk image files of all system partitions, uploaded the files to a remote server and zeroed out every bit of storage data on every hard drive, wiping them clean of all data including the operating system.
Soon every PC connected to Team Aqua's network servers showed a ransomware image with a countdown timer. "That should give Team Aqua a few problems to solve in the next twenty minutes," Donald remarked.
"It would be wise to report these activities to the sergeant," Donald's Beldum suggested.
"I agree," Donald affirmed, "Though something has been troubling me about this whole thing."
"About why Team Aqua would send a battalion of grunts to a concert?" Espeon posed.
"Vengeful retaliation for their prisoners giving them the slip can't possibly be the only reason," Donald stated.
"There exists a probability of it being the case," Beldum countered.
"Could they have acquired the Blue Orb and are on the hunt for Kyogre?" Espeon asked.
"If that were the case it would be illogical to go after the Lightfoot family outside of retaliation or monetary gain," Donald answered, knowing that Team Magma would be spurred into fast activity if his Blue Orb hunch was right.
"Append our discussion to previous suggestion and request the sergeant's opinion and suggestion on further activities," Beldum suggested.
"Understood," Donald acknowledged.
"T-minus 17 m-m-m-m-minutes, mark," Porygon-Z counted.
"Prepare to execute Code: Cocked Pistol if the Team Aqua battalion breaches our defenses," Donald commanded.
"P-p-p-p-preparing to execute Code: Cocked Pistol," Porygon-Z acknowledged.
"Sergeant Lerner, I've just blocked access to all terminals connected to Team Aqua's network server with a full data wipe set to happen in just over sixteen minutes," Donald reported, "What's your take on this situation?"
Sgt. Lerner: I'd stand down for the time being and wait to see what comes. One of the rules of combat. If the Enemy is in range... So are you. Intelligence is always wrong. you could have all the data and intel on the situation and on the enemy you need to know about and still be in the dark on the enemy that is approaching. The intel can always change at the very last second. But when it comes to dealing with an enemy like Team Aqua or Magma... You have to expect the unexpected. They will always try to sneak in an attack. *Thinking* But you know what? I have contacts with some of the men i fought with and battled alongside with. I'll give them a ring and give them the heads up on the matter.

Sgt. Lerner: The men are on alert now. A couple of them happen to be not too far from the direct line of sight that team Aqua is coming from. So... if they happen to spot any rogue grunt from Team Aqua... They'll make quick work of them.
The anticipation was growing...
"Understood, Sergeant," Donald acknowledged before departing back to his rehearsal area.
"T-minus 13 m-m-m-m-minutes, mark!" Porygon-Z counted down.
"The sergeant managed to call in some reinforcements to provide help with the grunt battalion," Donald informed his Pokémon, "All we need to do now is lay low and monitor their communications while Cyber-Klefki counts down to Cyber-Yveltal's launch. I hope they don't try any funny business with their server otherwise that time will halve."
"There is a high probability of that happening," Beldum stated.
"In the meantime, keep scanning for rogue elements both within and without," Donald ordered.
"Understood," Espeon acknowledged. Donald fired up his phone and monitored communications between their base and battalion.

Jeremy: I agree with Sgt. Lerner on the directions of where to start the rest of the Journey to Cleveland. But from there... i think that Donald's got a good point and a very good suggestion. Taking the back roads throughout the route leading to Cleveland. We can have our birds of prey or flying pokemon scanning ahead to see if there are any dangers that we ought to know about.
Nicole: It'd be better that way. I got a Druddigon that can use dragon rage if need to and snuff out any Team Aqua members. That goes for Team Magma too.

He found out through p-p-p-p-pulling his records from the California adoption database with my help and corroborating the data with his birth record that he was a biological son of Macie Lightfoot. In summary, you now have one more first c-c-c-c-cousin once removed than you thought you did and Donald is the family's computer expert."
"If you have issues with your computer, smartphone or social media profiles, I can fix them for you," said Donald, clarifying his Porygon-Z's summation, "Oh, and forgive my Porygon-Z's stuttering—it's a programming bug from the Dubious Disc used for their evolution."
Pidgetta then paused and stared at Donald for a moment before...
Pidgetta: Holy shit... So... So that... that means that you're also my nephew. I'm an aunt to you too. Macie's my cousin and for a very long time was like a second mother to me as she embodied all that my mother was before she got sick and just gave up the ghost.
Lisa: It's true. She told us all about it once. It was rather heartbreaking and a real tear jerker.
Nicole: She can fill you in on it all as we head over to Caseyville for the first checkpoint.
Curtis: Programming will at times have some kinks. it's a trial and error. But a quick fix will be appreciated.
Gurdurr: Sorry about the Porygon Crack... I only know of one form of Porygon. I never had come across an Evolved form of a Porygon. Not before recent... like now. So... um... Any idea as to where the points of concern are to avoid coming across a encounter with any enemies?
Pidgetta then got to the point of her past... making certain for Donald to be up to speed...

Holly: Not really. Just random things. But i tend to also capture photos of things that potentially help some reporters from time to time that work for the Daily Planet. I make 30 bucks a photo… Actually for a group of pics. Because i sell the pics i take to them. Ones that they need when the time comes and it’s a picture that they’re in need of. Just good honest business. Gotta have that in this day and age.
Girl: That’s an understatement. However i don’t think my Cousin would be too understanding. She’d be thinking it was extortion. She’s a sweet girl… but very cautions. All about doing the right thing. And fighting for what is right.

Girl: Well… here’s the thing. *Sighs while smoking* She over the last week had been called “The Rising Star.” Not sure what that’s about. Maybe she’s famous… Can’t tell. I have never seen her face to face as… I’m a Lightfoot by family bloodline. On her father’s side. My father Henry daniel Holmes… is Bobby Lightfoot’s brother. I’m the sole daughter of Henry Holmes. My mother… Maya teresa holmes is maiden named… Maya Teresa Laurelson. But until the other year… i never knew of my family roots. My father would never tell me as a few years ago… or 6 months before i was born… My father and Macie’s father had some type of stupid fight. Bullshit fight about something. Money most likely… but it was bad enough to where my father thought that Macie would be just like her father. So… i was to stay away. But just about 5 months ago… My father passed. He suffered a heart attack that took him down hard and swift. My mom’s since then went into a psych ward because of the loss. It was too great for her. So the last testament she did for me was emancipated me from her and told me: “Pidgetta, Your cousin, Macie is out there. Find her and be with her. She’s your cousin. I don’t care what issues your father had with her father and or her… She’s your cousin. She’s your blood. I know that i won’t be around much as this grief is killing me and i’ll die inside the Psych ward. I know it. But no matter what comes…. Know that i love you… and Tell Macie that her aunt Maya loves her. Despite of the bull fight that was between her father and Uncle. I love her just as well.” So… i got gathered my things and went on the road. With all i owned. And yes… My pack of smokes. Yeah. I smoke. But it’s only one every so often… like one a week to mellow out. Because of the nerves. However… i’m looking into getting myself into drinking Herbal tea or chamomile. better regimen…
Holly: So… Your cousin… Your cousin is Macie?
Girl: You got it. And in case you didn’t gather my name. It’s indeed… Pidgetta. Pidgetta Gerald Holmes (Lightfoot)
Holly: Wow. How long were you on the road looking for her?
Pidgetta: Longer than what i intended. But i never gave up. I just recently learned that she was in this city and then when i heard that Radio Broadcast earlier on in the day… I knew… i knew that i was finally in the right place. The Right city. To find her.
Holly: Wow… So… you’re like all alone here. and are searching for her?
Pidgetta: I know she’s around. I have to find her. She’s the only family i got left. Besides her parents who may have a shit fest if they saw me. But if Uncle Bobby has any care about his brother… he’ll at least acknowledge me.
Holly: Pidgetta… I uh… i don’t think you caught the news of Macie yet. She’s… She’s not with them anymore. Since last year… Very early December of last year.
Pidgetta: Come again… She’s not with them?
Holly: No. She’s Emancipated from them. But has kept the last name and won’t rid herself of it. But… her father now… is a Cleaner… Hitman named Frank Holden.

Macie: What about your mom and dad? My Uncle Henry.
Pidgetta: He’s dead. He died 5 months ago. My mom’s in the psych ward. I’m emancipated and since then… i’ve dealt with the last 4 months in total hell. What hurts is that your dad… My Uncle Bobby didn’t even attend the funeral. to pay respects. I know for shit that they had their issues and they were going around being little brats in a hissy fit contest. See who can hold a grudge the longest. The fact is that he didn’t and he’s gonna have to live with that for the rest of his life. You never came either. But Macie… I don’t blame you. You couldn’t have known the truth behind what happened as your father Bobby was clearly too damn stupid and oblivious to tell you. You sure could have asked. Although he’d never say. So… i blame him. Your mom’s cool though. She was the only one that kept things neutral. Or tried to. But i won’t forgive your father… Biological one of course. I spent the last few weeks of the 4 months of hell making my way over to find you. I stopped at the place in Sheltered Shrubs and was told by some blonde girl… Courtney… that you were here in Metropolis. So… i came here. It took me forever to get here… But i’m here for you, Cousin. My father and your father fought and tried to keep us apart due to some fight. But it’s time that we reunited. We’re family. No matter what. Macie: It sure is strange. What i’d truly like to know is that… how did you find out about me since our parents happened to have some
sort of fight all these years ago? They kept you and me a secret all our lives, Pidgetta. I was born after you were… a year after you. I was 5 years old when i first asked about having relatives. My parents… Your Aunt and Uncle… wouldn’t tell me. They would not even speak of you. because if were to know of you… it’d bring back in the brother to my father who’s your Uncle. And because of said fight… they didn’t want to chance it.
Pidgetta: Parents can be such dicks at times. And i should know. My dad and I didn’t have that much a good relationship. It was rather strained and we never would agree on hardly anything. But it was life. It sucks. But it’s life.
Macie: I know. I got a new dad. He’s a cleaner. Hitman. But he happens to love me.
Pidgetta: I know. I was told that by some girl… Someone who is just photo crazed.
Macie: *Realizing who it was that her cousin was referring to* I think that i know.
Pidgetta: It’s okay though. It’s fine. I actually liked being told things like that. Knowing that someone related to me was getting… a better life.
Macie: Better than some… I’d guess.
Pidgetta: True. But sometimes… in life, things happen that aren’t always what you’d expect. But you come to learn that sometimes you take what you can get."

Macie: *Smiles* It’s great to see you again and have you here, Pidgetta. I Emancipated from my biological parents. It was the saddest thing i had to do. But… I had started to make a life here in Metropolis by time i went back to my old hometown. It was mainly to say goodbye to everyone there. But then when Chloe, Tess, Genevieve stepped in via video-chat… to tell of how they’d help emancipate me from Bobby and Bobbie Lightfoot. It was the belief of Plausible Child neglect. It was solved and from it… i broke from them and Frank Holden… became my father. It was something that made a sad moment… a happy one again. It changed me.
Pidgetta: It sure did. You’re not the usual meek and overly cautious girl that you usually came off being. You’re… Hell… Frickin’ hot. 15 and hot. That’s like turn a Lowlife scumbag that’d be out there in the nation capitol into a golden knight of virtue. We know that will never happen as that guy’s got more venom and corruption and subterfuge in him that could easily make 10 of him easily. But you… You went from oh. It’s just her… to “WHAT THE F—! SHE’S A TOTAL BABE!” Call it over glamorizing if you like. But in this day and age… No one goes from meek and shy to Courageous and Openly expressive in just… like a short period. However you did it… I… oh hell… I’m deeply moved. Proud… stunned and shocked… but moved just the same.

Pidgetta: That's what it was like. I once told Macie's Ex-Husband... this piece... back before she and the guy even got their wedding "I Do's".

Pidgetta: All of that is still true to this day. Because for some reason... she embodies all that my mother had possessed. Everything. So... it was like i'd lose her again."I am attached to my cousin Macie. More than normal. Why that is… It’s because she’s the closest thing that reminds me of my mother. Loving. Caring. Peace and devoted. Wise. Losing Macie for any reason would kill me. I lost my mother the other month and around the end of last year… I lost my father to a heart attack. "It's such a shame that blood isn't always thicker than water," Donald commented with nary a dry eye after hearing his biological family's history. "But I will do everything in my power to ensure the safe rescue of your cousin…Auntie Pidgetta," he finished with a doubling down on his intent to rescue his biological mother; emphasizing his respect for Macie's cousin.
