[M] How Angels Get Their Wings (Holey & SecretShadows)

After several months of intense daily training, two young girls, members of the Imperial Guard in service to Emperor Friedrich I, were showing particular skill and accomplishment. The Emperor then decided it was time to put their training to a practical examination... by having them eliminate a particularly nasty green dragon that had been harassing a certain area within the Empire's borders.

After pulling the young guards and their big sister aside, Friedrich fueled them up with all of the necessary magical energy in order to perform to the best of their superhuman abilities. The winged older sister Olivia was to accompany her younger sisters Gabby and Nova in this test... the same way Olivia's big sister had once done the same for her.

Once he had finished fueling them, the Emperor gave each of the girls a gentle kiss. "Glad everyone is eager to get started..." he said. "Now it's time to pick your weapons for this particular hunt, keeping in mind that dragon scales are very difficult to penetrate with normal weaponry." Their weapon selection would go a long way towards determining the success of their mission, but he knew he couldn't help them much in this regard, as it wouldn't be much of a test if he did.

Olivia smiles as she looked over at the emperor and then said: "As ready as always daddy!" She then nods as they were said too pick a weapon, she decided too go with duel swords as that was her usual type of weapon, these ones however were filled with dragonbane magic, perfect for that they were going too go do.

Nova was quiet, her eyes just thinking if all the options there was, she wasnt even sure what she was good in using yet. But this is what she trained for so she better start deciding too. She then said: "Which would be the best against a dragon?" She really wants this all too succeed and turn out as good as possible.

Gabby was grinning and didn't even care too look through them carefully, she just took what she was best in handling, a longsword with rather powerful magic flowing from it, perfect for fighting a powerful beast like this dragon. She then said: "Done! With the best weapon there is!" She proudly held out her sword then looked at her sisters while trying not too jump up and down out of excitement.

Chuckling at Olivia's words, the Emperor reached out to stroke her wings. "That's good..." he said, noting as she picked matching swords as her weapon of choice. "Are those the same swords you used for your own test?" he asked, remembering that back when Olivia was as young as her little sisters, she had also selected matching swords when she took her own test, along with her sister at the time, who now had little sisters of her own ready to take such a test.

As Nova asked about weapon choices, Friedrich gave her a kiss. "Perhaps your sisters can help you choose... since your weapon choice is part of your test, I can't tell you." He did note the fact that both of the other girls had chosen swords, which meant that no one had yet selected any sort of polearm or ranged weapon... though there was a chance they'd choose more weapons, as he hadn't specified a limit to the number of weapons they could choose, so long as they could carry them all.

He chuckled at Gabby picked a powerful longsword as her weapon, leaning over to peek up her skirt as she did so. "You like that sword, don't you?" he asked her, noting the confidence with which she had selected it. "Is that the sword with the pommel grenade, for ending your opponent rightly?" he asked, noting the magic contained within the removable pommel of the sword and chuckling at her obvious excitement.

Olivia smiles as she leaned into his touch before she gave a nod and said: "Yes it's the same two, they bring me good luck after all, I love them so much!" She smiles happily as she looked at the swords that she had gone through many adventures with in the past, now getting ready for another one with her little sisters.

Nova sighs a bit clearly unsure about what ti take and do, she looked over at the emperor then at her sisters before she took a spear and said: "I will try this one then." She clearly also wasn't all to sure about her choice but at leas she knew ho to fight with this type of weapon. She then also grabbed a dagger to place on her side in case she had to use it for closer fighting.

Gabby grinned and said: "Yes! I do love this sword daddy!" She then gave a nod to his question about the pommel grenade and said: "Its going to come in handy after all." She soon took a bow and some arrows too making sure it's the type that can pass the scales of a dragon while saying: "Well I am definitely ready!"

Friedrich continued to stroke Olivia's wings, caressing them and giving her a gentle kiss. "I'm sure they'll serve you just as well as they always have," he said to her, glancing over to her younger sisters and watching as they made additional weapon choices of their own. "Have a bit more confidence," he said to Nova, patting her rear a bit to encourage her. "I wouldn't be testing you if I didn't think you were ready... so keep that in mind. Just don't get overconfident, and you'll make it through."

He chuckled at Gabby's excitement, patting her rear as well. "Glad to see you're ready. Alright then... everyone gather together. It's time to pay a visit to our target's lair." Pulling the three guards together, he incanted in Draconic, "Sehlek, svih, karif mojka." With these words, the area around them warped as he and his guards were teleported far from the Imperial Palace, to a forest seemingly in the middle of nowhere.

"We're here," he said. "Slutwing is a green dragon, so her breath weapon is a cloud of toxic gas. Keep in mind everything you've learned about how a dragon defends her lair, what sort of traps and guardians she's likely to us, and you'll be fine." With that, he turned his direction towards the cave that marked the entrance to the dragon's lair... a cave guarded by a number of hostile wyverns, which would be the first challenge for his guards to overcome.

Olivia looked over at the emperor and gave a nod while she said: "They definitely have! And they are about to do that again." She looked at her two younger sisters and grinned happily before she said: "Plus you got me fighting with you too, so hey, nothing to worry about at all."

Nova looked at him then at her older sister before she smiles and then gave a nod while blushing lightly. "Thanks daddy, I will!" She grinned as she grew more confidence for the fight about to start as they got teleported off towards the cave.

Gabby was the first to already take a leap towards the cave as they got there. She then glanced back at the others and said: "Well let's go get slutwing already! Come on hurry up everyone! Those caves arent destroying themselves you know!" She grinned as she looked back at the cave ready for the fight while the other two sisters started to join.

The two ninjas stayed by the side of the emperor and just watched the girls get ready for their test. "Well their challage is about to begin, but I think they will make you proud daddy, they definitely have gotten a lot better with that training.

Gazing at Olivia, the Emperor nodded, stroking her sensitive wings softly. "That they are," he said, watching her encourage her little sisters a bit, giving nods of approval. He chuckled at the enthusiasm of Nova and Gabby, glad to see that his words alone were enough to give them the confidence required to perform their best at this dragon slaying test.

"Go get her, then!" he said. "Show that nasty dragon how much you hate slutty slut sluts!" He allowed the girls to go on ahead, wrapping an arm each around the slender waist of the ninja girls, Vixen and Sinopa. "I'm sure they will..." he said to each of them, sliding his hands from their waists up their short ninja outfits to caress them and distract them. "You two should stay invisible for now... it'll make it all the more dramatic when I reveal how you've foiled Slutwing's nefarious plans."

He gazed in the direction of the dragon lair, where the wyvern guardians, having detected the intruders, were now soaring in the direction of the three guards, intent on tearing them apart with their claws and teeth, or stinging them with their poisonous barbed tails. Thankfully, these particular wyverns lacked a breath weapon, though there was still the possibility that flame wyverns might linger deeper within the forest cave.

Olivia smiles happily as her younger sisters were back into encouragement for all of this. She herself took the lead as they hurried into the caves only to meet face to face with some wyverns. She then ready her weapon and said: "First wave, dont use all of your energy at all, take these down without using to much power, cause there are many more coming and stronger."

Nova narrowed her eyes then gave a nod at her sister's work before she ran straight for the threat, she took her weapon and just stabbed the side of one of the creatures before she leaped up boosting herself until she was ontop of them, pulling out her spear then just stabbed down at another one as she went back down again, slipping past their attacks and getting behind the lot who could quite turn around with the fact that her two sisters were still in front.

Gabby grinned at her sister's swift moves and took in on the action as she started slicing towards the ones coming closer, she herself then started using the sides of the cave to boost herself up and then destract the creatures for the other two to start taking down. Working as a team to destroy their first enemy.

Vixen and Sinopa looked at the emperor and gave a nod before they hurried away into the shadows to stay invisible. So far the group seems to be doing just fine without any help needed, but this was a weak enemy so worst was to come.

As the three guards engaged the wyvern guardians in combat, the Emperor stayed back and watched, assessing their technique in order to provide critique and feedback once the mission was over. He rather enjoyed the view offered, taking every opportunity to look up their short armored skirts as they fought the dragonkin beasts. He particularly enjoyed the view up the skirt of the flying Olivia, along with the acrobatic wall climb that flashed everything under Gabby's skirt as well.

Though the wyverns fought like fierce beasts, and though they were more than a match for most human opponents, the supernatural strength and speed of the guards, along with their dragonbane weapons which worked as well against dragonkin hide as they did against true dragons, made short work of the three wyvern guardians, and before long they were dead at the feet of the girls.

"That went well, didn't it?" he said as he began to walk towards them. "Smart of you girls not to waste an excessive amount of magic fighting the guardians... saving it for Slutwing herself was the right decision." He could tell Olivia's guidance was helping her younger sisters quite a bit, as this was a test of her ability to lead little sisters as much as it was a test of the combat strength of Nova and Gabby.

Friedrich nodded in the direction of the lair, now clear of the wyvern guardians. The fact that they had fallen so easily was an indication that they were far from the only thing that Slutwing had protecting her lair, though he figured he'd let the girls search for the traps themselves... or perhaps search for a hidden secondary entrance, which wasn't an uncommon thing to be found in dragon lairs. Though the two ninjas had likely located all of the traps and entrances already, they weren't the ones being tested.

Olivia smiles as the wyvern guards were down, her sisters definitely did good work and she was proud to have helped them, looking over at her father she gave a nod and said: "Will do so!" Then she looked at the girls while she said: "Now there are many trabs and hidden doors in this place, we have to locate all of them okay?" She grins as the two nodded and started searching around.

Nova started looking agaisnt the walls, using a small spell she created a little ball of light to help spot anything out of order in the cave, mainly against the wall. Gabby decided to stay lower to the ground and instead look for any hidden traps, but she quickly got distracted when her sister said she found something and nearly fell into a hole in the ground, luckily she was able to catch herself fast and get back up and out again. She then said: "Also found a trap."

"Be careful not to fall in the traps you find sis." Olivia said with a little giggle then made her way over to Nova who found a few loose rocks in the cave wall. The three approached it and then looked over at their father wondering if they should move the rocks or not. A rather bored cat hanging upside down on the wall said out: "Wouldn't touch that." Sinopa then hits Vixen and said: "You aren't supposed to help here! It's their test!"

"But it's such an easy boring cave and besides daddy would have just said the same." Vixen huffed out as she rubbed the back of her head and then crossed her arms still just hanging there as she watched the girls now clearly unsure what they should do as normally they aren't supposed to get help. Slowly Gabby then said: "Okay well then we continue looking."
