Story: We are Mystics. You may have heard of things that go bump in the night? Well, we are the ones who bump back. We are a secret organization of highly trained killers sworn to protect the innocent and to stop evil at all costs. We have these abilities, these powers that enable us to do great things. It’s a good thing we have these powers or we’d be dead going up against the creatures of the night. Be it vampire, werewolf, demon or witch, we have vowed to stop them. Earth was once a civilized place, a place of great peace and prosperity, but it has become a land ravaged by night slaughters and deathly shrills. The war that has been fought quietly for so long is threatening to leak into human perception.
Plot: It is the year 2040. Technology has advanced to unbelievable levels, and the government is extremely corrupt. What once was a peaceful land has turned into a land of injustice and chaos. One ancient mystic has preserved the old ways by using the mystic magic to create a base in the Amazon Rainforest. He has watched as times went by and has seen the evil of men’s heart break free from its cage and ravage the land. He has watched over those who have yet to realize their true potential. The Nobility is a group of vampires, werewolves, witches and demon who have taken over the governments of the world secretly. They use their science combined with magic to restore the world in their image. Nearly all demons, werewolves, witches, and other dark creatures serve them freely. Despite their technology being great enough to create a blood substitute as food, they still prefer to feed on humans. They search for the destruction of the human race, using them as cattle and food. The government is completely enslaved to the dark ones, yet the Mystics are nowhere to be found. For you see, as time went on, the teachings of a Mystic were not passed down; however, the powers and abilities of a mystic were. Those who have the lineage of mystic magic have no clue about their heritage, or their cause, but all of that is soon to change. Weapons such as guns no longer use bullets, but shoot particle beams, or rather lasers that cause concussive damage. More weapons use plasma energy as a blade rather than metal. It is up to the Mystics to set the world free. It is unwise to go outside after the sun goes down. It is unwise to walk alone during the night, for you never know when something may snatch you.
Setting: It is the highly technological year of 2040. You are portraying a Mystic, or a member of the Nobility. If you are portraying a member of the Nobility, you will be making plans to strike against the humans. There are those Mystics who would join the Nobility rather than fight against them. The Psychic Mystic will seek out the Mystics in order to train, and protect them. Your age range isn’t specific, just as long as you’re over the age of 12. There are certain key things that must be done in order to harness the power of the Mystics, which your character will learn through the teachings of the Psychic Mystic. Everything takes place in different parts of the world. That doesn’t mean your character can’t be from any part of the world.

This is a pretty high powered RP, but I still expect you all to adhere to the rules of the site, as well as adhere to the rules listed below.
Rules
1) No Godmoding. I know this is a high powered RP, but please limit your character, besides, no one likes a character who can do it all.
2) Rated M for a Reason. Even though this is a Mature RP, and it consists of fantasy elements, I don’t want cyber-sex to be the main focus on this RP. Please, keep it to only kissing if it gets that far; however, if you want to go over kissing, take it to PM and fade the scene to black in the IC. Cursing is allowed, violence is allowed, and blood and gore is allowed.
3) No Powerplaying. Only NPCs can be controlled by other people; however, you CANNOT control someone else’s character unless they allow it. Sometimes a little control is needed to prevent godmoding, but don’t go over that thin line. I want you to be aware that your NPC can die at the hands of another character with or without your permission.
4) Be Fair. If you have a dispute with someone, PM them, and PM me about it and we will get it fixed. Do not take on the role of GM, I am the GM and I will see to it that things are fair; however, I will not penalize you for helping in any way, just don’t become belligerent with other people if they break a rule or do something you don’t like. All issues should be forwarded to me so that I can handle them efficiently.
5) Realism. Keep it where it belongs. Remember, this is a fantasy RP, but it is also a mature RP. Things in this RP will not have the same properties it would in realistic RPs, so keep those ideas separate. Now, I’ve not totally outlawed realism, for affection and what not is realistic. Your characters actions do have consequences. What your character does will shape the world around them. If you attack a creature far more powerful than your character, your character can either be injured or killed determined by your character’s actions and reactions.
6) Requirements. This is going to be a multiple series RP, meaning that after one story ends another will begin perhaps a year or more after the other ended. So, with that said, I want dedicated RPers to join. If you know that you’re going to drop or don’t have time, please don’t join. Type at least a paragraph or two for each IC post. Be able to post a couple times a week. Quality over Quantity, remember that. If you are going to be gone for a while, inform me as to the reason why and I’ll play your character for you. To ensure that you’ve read the rules, please put your favorite currently airing tv show in the “Other” slot on the character sheet. If you don’t watch tv, then put your favorite thing in the “Other” slot on the character sheet.
