Emerge Upon the Battlefield
“ ‘ey You! Any particular reason you felt it necessary to cause a ruckus tonight?!”
The hulking figure rolled its shoulders as it slowly stood to its feet; coming up from its right knee. It stood there amongst the prying eyes of the city street, and noticed that all the mortals that stood before him were, in fact, looking at him in awe and fear. It would seem that these mortals never seen this figure before, not in their entire existence. 'All the better,' it thought as its eyes slowly shifted to a smaller mortal, whom had confronted with, what seemed like, hostile intent. The figure's body slowly turned in the direction of the mortal man, checking itself as though it hadn't felt its own flesh for decades. A small chuckle had escaped its lips, but was quickly silenced when it realized why it was here. The King had called for it to fight upon the battlefield, and had never asked what it thought. What it thought was that it had finally achieved paradise after waiting for centuries. But that thought was quickly shot down, and the sense of anger grew within it.
He looked straight into the soulful eyes of the mortal man, and lifted his right arm into the air to call upon the fires of the material realm. "A ruckus? Mortal, you may not know who you speak to, but you'd be wise enough not stand in my way. I'm leaving that infernal place, and I'm going to ensure the King pays for his insolence. I shall make this realm burn with the fires of Hel."
With a sudden flick of his wrist, a fireball leapt from his palm and flew through the air; heating the space around it. Eventually, the fireball made contact with, what looked like, a cafe on the corner of this bustling street. The fireball would crash through the large front window and land inside the cafe, and roughly fifteen seconds later the cafe would erupt into an explosion of glass and fire. Somebody was seen being flung out of another window while engulfed in flames.
Citizens, who had gathered around him watching on in awe and fear , saw the cafe erupt into fire. They looked back at the armored old man, and began to scatter seeing that he was clearly too dangerous to be around.
The armored old man, calling upon another fireball, tossed another projectile in the direction of the lobby of a business firm. That lobby was reduced to a bonfire in mere seconds; several bystanders were seen running out of that bonfire while on fire.
"Stand with me mortal, I do not wish for my first blood to be some puny excuse for a man. Stand with me, and you'll be given power... power to rule this world!"
