Name: Kimura Yuki
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Half Japanese, half American
Occupation (before the end of the world): Shelf packer
Physical Appearance:
Yuki stands at a height of 5’6, just slightly above the average for a woman of her age and ethnicity. Her build is thin and wiry, but with enough lean muscle to suggest an active lifestyle full of physical labor. She has pale skin, brown eyes, and long brown hair that falls just below her shoulders. Her facial features are distinctly Japanese, despite her mixed heritage. A small scar marks her forehead, bisecting her left eyebrow near the outer edge. She has several other scars and a handful of small tattoos, but most of them are hidden beneath her clothing, not readily visible.
Weapon of Choice: She carries a small pocket knife for emergencies, but will make do with anything heavy enough to hurt that happens to be within arm’s reach when she needs it.
Brief Biography:
Yuki’s mother was barely an adult when she fell in love with an American businessman who traveled frequently for work. After she got pregnant, the asshole revealed that he already had a family and kids back home and cut off all contact with Yuki’s mother. While heartbroken, she decided to have the baby anyway, and raised Yuki as a single parent.
During the early years of her life, Yuki didn’t know any of this. Only that they were poorer than a lot of the other kids she went to school with, and that her mother seemed to introduce her to a new boyfriend every couple of months. Her performance in school was lackluster, with most teachers remarking that she was smart enough to do well, but lacked the motivation to put any real effort into her studies. During the early years, her smart mouth and wilful nature got her in trouble often. During the later years, she fell in with a rough crowd, and these tendencies got worse. Skipping school, staying out late, and underage drinking became her new norm.
Not long after she graduated, Yuki decided to move out with some of these friends, despite her mother’s ongoing protests. Things were fine at first, but it wasn’t long before they took a turn for the worse. After enduring their bullshit for a couple of years, Yuki eventually woke up. She realized just how bad things had gotten and decided that she wanted out. After spending months working any low-paying job that would take her, she saved up enough money to rent a small apartment in the suburbs and moved there with her girlfriend. Their new life wasn’t glamorous, but it was certainly better than the one she’d been living before.
