Maeva fell asleep again with her head against his chest, breathing peacefully.
He let her sleep. He knew that she must have stayed awake last night as long as she could to keep an eye on him. He was grateful for that. With her entering his dream, it helped him remain calm when facing his father. He closed his eyes. He hoped the reach the cabin today. He just hoped that it was safe.

A little while later, Maeva yawned and rolled over, blinking her eyes open. "...Morning," she murmured with a smile.
He grinned. "Morning..." He kissed her gently. "Did you sleep well?"

"Good... I'm glad." She sat up and stretched. "Do you think we're close to the cabin?"
He nodded as he sat up as well. "Yeah. I think so. I'm hoping that we get there before nightfall. If it's safe, we can probably spend the night there so we can plan our next course of action.
