Not really. If Iago "goes to ground" then Jenkins can continue his manhunt. Just cause the character is inactive that doesn't mean he's dead. It just means his not actively doing anything. Think of it as a continuing manhunt until other events force Jenkins away from that particular target.
Eh... I guess so. But honestly that can become quite boring writing if you don't have someone to collaborate with on occasion. After a while it just becomes masturbatory.
