~When there's trouble you know who to call~
We are accepting! Looking specifically for a Cyborg and some minor villains.
Spoiler: The Plot and TimelineThe New Teen Titans takes place about 10 years after Everything Changes. All the characters who delighted us in the show have grown and taken on their adult personas. Some have retired, some continue to work as heroes (or villains) to mentor the new generation, and some... well...
Before the Roleplay All of the Titans slowly left the Tower and developed lives beyond being heroes. In their place, a new group of youngsters has taken up the mantle.
Spoiler: The Rules1. First and foremost, please have a working knowledge of Teen Titans! At least know the show. Knowledge of the comics (the spin-off or otherwise) is a plus, as many people flesh out the show's characters with information from the comics.
2. The basic rules of engagement. No godmoding, power playing, Mary/Gary Sues, you all know the drill.
3. I will be strict with canon characters. If you're going to play them, please play them well! If you'd like to incorporate things from the comics into the characters, please contact me and have links to said comic moments (or at least wiki pages). This is because bringing that lore into our canon could affect other characters!
3a. This doesn't mean that OCs will get off easy. They still need to work within the universe and be well written.
4. Please /please/ do not disappear for weeks on end! Two weeks of No-Call-No-Show and your turn in the roleplay will be skipped. Three weeks and your character will be put on ice. One month and, if essential to a current story, they will be adopted out to someone else. Please don't make us do this!
5. This roleplay is rated Mature, for everyone's safety.. These are Superheroes and Villains after all! Plenty of fighting, cursing, etc. However, there will be no bedroom scenes here. Romance is fine. Bedroom is not.
6. Your applications will be looked over by me and my co-dm, Price. We have been roleplaying this subject, and roleplaying in general, for a very long time. If your character isn't up to our standards, we will give you suggestions on how to fix them. We want to help you play! If you become aggressive, however, your application will be trashed.
7. These rules are subject to change as the roleplay grows and develops.
The next few aren't exactly rules. More like explanations.
8. Your password is Boodles.
Spoiler: Current Posting Order
Markov, Price, Kirita, Lady C, Salty, Dnafein
Spoiler: The ApplicationLast Warning. I will be strict with canon characters! You have some leeway since there is a sizable time gap between the episodes and where the roleplay begins, but please stay in character!

Powers/weapons: Luka is an emotional vampire. She absorbs the emotional state of the people around her to jumpstart her adrenaline system. This makes her faster, her reflexes better, etc. It comes at a cost, however. If she relies too much on the emotions around her she’ll start to mirror them. Use her powers too long and she’ll start to experience an adrenaline crash.
Face Claim: Yuriko Yoshitaka
Voice Claim: Same as above
Casual Appearance: What she wears depends on if it’s a school day or not. If it is she wears the school uniform, a button-down white shirt with a black tie, blue mid-thigh skirt, and black dress shoes with long socks. On other days she’ll wear a blouse with pants and tennis shoes.
Super Appearance: When going out on missions, Luka tends to wear a mottled black Hakama, something she’s had ever since she was young. The only new piece of equipment is the startlingly red Hannya mask she dons to hide her identity.
Personality: Outsiders tend to form one of three opinions on Luka. The first, assuming that she hasn’t targeted them with some sort of jab or joke, is that perhaps she’s a bit unstable. Easily distracted, her thoughts and speech jumping to seemingly random topics and tangents, a coherent conversation with the girl often requires work. This is a side effect of her power. The more people she is around, for example in a mall, the more distracted and easily confused she becomes. Luka hasn’t quite developed an ability to block out emotions that she doesn’t want to feed off. It is this constant sway of energy and mirrored emotions that causes the inconsistencies in her thought process.
If one was to meet her one on one, however, they’d see a very different girl. Assuming they were someone of a higher rank, like the Justice League, or someone else she deeply respected, Luka would become very quiet. This is the side of her that her parents saw the most.
For those who have not? A quick smile and wit would bloom. Her jabs and jokes are meant to be harmless, and it’s often rather surprising what things she notices and comments on. She’s a generally happy girl and enjoys hanging out with people with whom she feels comfortable. While some people enjoy verbal sparring with her, others are quick to get offended. This is a very bad move. Perhaps it’s the draw of her power, perhaps she just enjoys messing with people, but as soon as she realizes she’s struck a nerve she’s likely to press until a fight erupts
History: Having been born in Japan, it was this tendency to start fights that landed Luka in America. Luka had had a problem with egging people on ever since she was young, though at the time the reason why was unknown. After a couple of fights in her elementary school days, her parents enrolled her in martial arts classes. They thought that perhaps she just lacked focus. If she had an outlet perhaps this unfortunate side of her would go away.
It worked, to an extent. Without knowing about her power, her teachers began the long and slow process of teaching the girl self-control. Learning how to flow through the poses, how to channel all the excess energy she was absorbing into movement and quiet moments, it brought her a peace she was unable to find anywhere else.
When she was out of uniform, however, she was a mixed bag. There was an improvement, of course. She tried to keep her cool and not get drawn into her old habits. But by her high school years, with all the changes going on within herself and those around her, she got sucked in. It was just so much /fun/ to poke and prod until someone snapped back. The rush of giddy energy, it was addicting.
After a terrible fight, Luka doesn’t remember it as her opponent’s anger had overcome her, her parent’s hands were forced. Thinking that perhaps she just needed time away from the more socially withdrawn culture of her birth country, her mother sent her to her uncle in Jump City.
Murakami High School seemed to be a good fit for the outgoing girl. Here her fellow students were more likely to respond to a jab with another joke rather than anger. She was doing well, and her parents were happy to let her stay.
One day a wayward robot from some villain’s plan had crashed into the school. Bent on destroying everything, it had set about chasing down anything that moved. Luka’s training had kicked in and, while unable to defeat it herself, she had kept the robot’s attention until one of the new Teen Titans was able to locate and collect it. Impressed with her skill, she was invited on board as an honorary Titan. A few months later, as her power was discovered and tested, she became a Teen Titan in full.
Her parents still don’t know, and she’d rather keep it that way.
Other: While Luka is a Teen Titan, she is also still enrolled in the local high school. Her uncle is aware of the new and exciting development in her life, but her parents are not. As such she tries to keep a balance between schoolwork and butt-kicking.
While she has yet to talk with anyone about it, she’s relieved to know that her inability to focus and the cruel streak that started so many fights were because of a superpower rather than some sort of flaw. A power she can learn to control and handle, with or without the mask.
She is fluent in both Japanese and English, and could probably handle a basic conversation in Mandarin.
Luka loves pudding cups and keeps two stashes of them, one in the Tower's kitchen and one in her room.

Spoiler: Terra/Tara/GiaName: Gia Stevens (Prior Tara Markov)
Hero Name: Terra
Age: 24 years old
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral/Hero
Loyalties: Slade (Previously), The Teen Titans (Previously)
Powers/weapons: Geokinesis (Not reliable), Enhanced endurance, Above-average physical condition, Advanced skill in hand-to-hand combat
Face Claim: Skyler Samuels
Voice Claim: Ashley Johnson
Casual Appearance: Gia works Jump's bars, so she tries to look the part. Best way to get tips, ya know? Though, unlike some of her co-workers, she doesn't show much skin. Tight long-sleeved shirts, skinny jeans, startling blonde hair tied up in a messy bun, a quick smile ready on her lips. When she's not working she's normally sleeping or in the gym. One never knows when they might have to separate a fight. Even here, though, she tries to keep herself covered.
Super Appearance: She's not a superhero. It's not her thing. Leave it to those who've dedicated their lives to it.
Personality: Gia can be hard to figure out. Naturally a very closed-off individual, she only ever lets one see the side she wishes. The flirty bartender looking for better tips. The woman with danger in her eyes for those who come on too strong. The meek shadow on the bus, disappearing almost before being seen.
She doesn't make friends. She doesn't make enemies. She just does what she can to live another day.
History: She was a boarder at Murakami High School. Once she graduated she was lost for a while, not sure of what she wanted to do with her life. She knew only one thing, she didn't want to leave Jump. This was the only place she knew as home.
Her life from before Murakami was a blur. It's best it stays that way, at least from what her social worker told her. She hadn't come from the best of situations. But it didn't matter anymore. She wasn't that girl anymore.
Things changed.
During one of her nightly wanders, she tended to explore the city when she couldn't sleep, she happened across a bar where the tender had just quit. Being a fast learner, and having a pretty face, got her the job. A job she's proudly held for ten years now. It pays well. Sure, she sometimes steps in as a temp at other bars, but she can afford her apartment every month pretty easily. Life is going well for her. It really is.
Why does she still feel like something is missing?
This part of her history is unknown to her. She was the bastard princess of Markovia, half-sibling to Geo-Force. She gained her powers through an experiment she was put through, which unfortunately left them unstable. After a major accident, she left the country very young. She then wandered, living off her smarts and luck, until she found herself in Jump. The show takes up her history from there.
When Raven defeated her father, the magic that freed everyone else freed Terra as well. Slade discovered that she was no longer a statue and, realizing that she had lost her memories, set her up at Murakami. Without her knowledge he still watches her. It seems as if her powers are returning, if the clattering of stones during the last bar fight she broke up was any indication.
Other: Was almost in a relationship with Beast Boy as a teen. While she still doesn't remember this part of her past, she finds herself smiling when she sees his picture in local newspapers. She's written this off as having had a celebrity crush on him when she was younger.
Her chest and hips are covered with deep scars from Slade's neuro-armour. She doesn't remember how she got them or the multiple smaller scars she received from his 'training'.
Despite having been out from under his control for a very long time, Gia finds herself driven to keep herself in top shape. She is at the gym almost obsessively. This has definitely been a blessing when having to break up fights.

Spoiler: Slade/DeathstrokeName: Slade Wilson
Villain Name: Deathstroke
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain, though will play Anti-Hero to save his skin or blood.
Loyalties: Trigon (Formerly). He is loyal to himself and his family.
Powers/weapons: Superhuman strength/agility/endurance/reflexes due to his super-soldier serum. Highly experienced martial artist. Master manipulator. Small healing ability.
Face Claim: Manu Bennett
Voice Claim: Ron Perlman
Casual Appearance: A soldier at heart, Slade is never seen without his armor and gear even when within his own base. Rule number one: When your boots are on the ground you keep your head on a swivel. Even without his armor, Slade is a large intimidating dude. He keeps himself in top physical condition, working his body and mind to its failing point every single day. Tall, bulky, but aging.
His hair is going white. He sees it lighten seemingly every morning.
He blames that damn demon, that stupid deal he made. Never mind. So long as his mind is burning brightly behind his ghostly blue eye he'll continue taking contracts.
Super Appearance: The same as his casual appearance, though he would never willingly remove his mask.
Personality: Strong-willed. Unbreakable. Drives a hard bargain. Blood-thirsty. Demented.
A demon.
There are many rumors that circulate around this man. What could be expected of the world's best mercenary? To hear him tell it, quite a few are true too... Completely by coincidence does he feed into this little rumor mill the smaller-minded have created. Slade serves only himself, and whoever happens to be paying him. He's as straight as they come when it comes to his clients, his word is as good as gold. Quiet, respectful, asking for only the information he needs to finish the job.
On his own time? He will dig into every crack in the story. Sniff out every bit of information. Knowledge is power, and he enjoys being a powerful man. On being quiet and respectful? Well... If one has done nothing to upset him.
History: Having lied about his age, Slade joined the United States Army at the tender age of 16. Despite his youth and smaller size, he worked hard and quickly rose through the ranks, first to Major and then to Lieutenant Colonel. Just before being shipped off to Vietnam he met and fell in love with Captain Adeline Kane, who would give birth to his son Grant while he was overseas.
During his time with the military, he learned about the experiments that were taking place on the soldiers. The experiment was meant to help them combat truth serums. Instead, it gave Slade near-superhuman abilities.
Unfortunately, the US government considered him a failure and he was discharged. Distraught and unfulfilled by civilian life, he took up mercenary work. Right around then Adeline became pregnant with their second son, Joseph.
It would come back to bite him. A criminal who wanted information on one of Slade's clients broke into his home and kidnapped the young Joey. Slade was forced to come clean about his double life to her, and when he was unable to save his son, Adeline turned her gun on him.
He's lucky she only took his eye.
He took on other jobs. He fathered a daughter, Rose, on a woman he was protecting. He took on a contract against the Teen Titans, as his firstborn son had died in the attempt. And so the show picks up his storyline.
The question is, now, what he has been doing since Everything Changes. He kept an eye on the newly freed Terra, in case he should ever need her again. And he took on contracts. Built his empire. Struck against the Titans.
And now he bides his time...
Other: At this time Slade does not know that he has a daughter.

Spoiler: Characters By Price
Spoiler: Cruxos of OlympusName: Cruxos (Krŭk-zos)
Hero Name: Crux
Age: 16
Gender: male
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Olympus, later Teen Titans
Powers/weapons: Divine Wisdom: As the son of Athena, Cruxos has inherited a rather sizable portion of her wisdom. Athena hopes he will use this gift to aid humanity.
Mortal Reading: A rare gift from his adoptive father, Hades, Cruxos possesses the ability to read a mortal creature's entire history as well as their possible futures. The future is ever-changing, so it is extremely difficult for the boy. The past is a different matter. He can read all mortal creatures, from insects to humans, as if they are books. He shuns this power as it pertains to mortal beings as the utmost intrusive invasion of privacy.
Sacred Bond: The most important role for any deity, a god to his or her bonded, is the formation, maintenance, and upholding of the mortal bond. This bond must be formed consensually on pain of great cost to the offending deity. Once formed, the deity is permanently linked, mind and soul, to their mortal. In what will pass a single instant to the mortal, the deity will live the entire life of the mortal up until that point and experience all of the same thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations that the mortal has felt through their own eyes as if it were their own life. Even their name will be used in place of the mortal’s. It is an arduous undertaking for any deity, let alone a semi-deity like Cruxos. If unprepared for the bond, the deity tends to lose a sense of him or herself in the memories, unable to differentiate their own true memories from those that they have experienced through the bond. They will suffer the same trauma themselves that the mortal has undergone to that point. In short, it can be extremely taxing to a deity to take it on. The bond extends beyond simply living a mortal’s life. Once it is formed, a telepathic link is formed between the pair and can be accessed at any time. The bond becomes a shared space that can be accessed by either party at any time. The mortal and deity will feel the other’s presence in their mind whenever the bond is tapped into, allowing them to share emotions back and forth. The deity has the special power to take on the mortal’s burdens of pain (mental, emotional, and physical) and offer peace in exchange. Depending on the bond’s strength and experience, this process can range from taxing, excruciatingly difficult, to even impossible.
Olympic Spear: His single weapon is the gift that Zeus bestowed upon his favored daughter and by proxy, his favored grandson. The Olympic Spear was struck with Zeus's lightning, giving the weapon great power. Only an Olympian may wield it, and no mortal can break it.
Shield of Achilles: The famed shield of Achilles has been recovered and blessed by the gods, given to Cruxos on his sixteenth birthday. The shield acts as a protection against most mortal weapons. It is powerful enough to withstand a blast from an rpg and has been tested against some of the lower Olympians' finest spells. It has yet to see true combat beyond sparring though.
Face Claim:Spoiler: Corey Fogelmanis
Voice Claim: Corey Fogelmanis circa 2017 albeit with a heavy Greek accent
Casual Appearance: Cruxos is rarely seen outside of his armor. He prefers to wear it as it keeps him safe, reminds him of home, and helps him to be ready at a moment's notice.
Super Appearance:Spoiler: Replace the sword with a spear.
Personality: Cruxos inherited the best features of his mother, a tactical mind that is analytical in nature and a wisdom that is slow to form judgment but resolute once it has. He can offer sound advice clear of bias or prejudice as well as merciful compassion to those he cares for. He is shy if not a bit standoffish among strangers, but is far more lighthearted around those he is comfortable with.
Cruxos is a proudly fierce warrior who takes pleasure in a good fight. His attitude during battle is very different than his personality outside of it. He is wrathful and unforgiving, brutal when dishing out judgments of the gods. He tends to rush headfirst into danger whether he has support or not. He believes it to be his duty as an Olympian. As reckless as this is, he doesn't yet see the danger. After all, how could a mortal hurt a demigod?
Cruxos has an extremely childish side brought out when he is seeking the approval of his Titan leaders or when he is excited or afraid. This side of him is almost like a puppy and can range from extremely timid, shy, and guilty, to overly exuberant and full of boundless joy depending on the situation.
History: Immediate Family: Created by Zeus, Cruxos has no biological parents. Athena took on the role of the boy’s mother and Hades has been as much of a father figure as the boy has ever known. Of the other Olympians, the twins Apollo and Artemis have spent the most active time with him as his uncle and aunt respectively. Apollo taught him the arts and the way of music while Artemis taught him the way of the wilderness and how to hunt in it.
Distant Family: The rest of the Olympians would easily be considered distant, Poseidon the most amicable of them, Hephaestus the most apathetic, and Ares is easily the most hostile towards the demi-god.
Parenting and Upbringing: Cruxos was born to be the sole hope for the future of Olympus and has been raised accordingly. Athena drilled him in combat as soon as he was old enough to walk and schooled him herself from her personal library. She was firm and although she cared for him, she was not the most nurturing. As the goddess of wisdom, she acted more as a guide than a traditional mother. His father figure, Hades, was far gentler by contrast. When the intensity of his mother became too much, Cruxos would spend his days with his father learning the duties of the Underworld.
His other relatives have spent time teaching him proficiency in their own areas of expertise, but only Apollo and Artemis seem to regard Cruxos as anything other than a means to an end.
Infancy: ([0-2] Cruxos was blessed by each god and goddess of the Pantheon. It was in his destiny to be great. To that end, his infancy was anything but nurturing. Even as a toddler, Crux was given early training in combat.
Childhood: ([3-12] Crux’s combat training continued throughout his childhood. He was gifted his mother’s spear and Achilles’s shield as his own arms. He worked tirelessly day and night in constant drilling, sparring, and training. He often fought in the arena against all sorts of Olympian monsters and was often gored. His mother allowed this. They were lessons of what not to do, mistakes he would learn and train to correct.
At the age of seven, he was given his first host of men to lead. Athena taught him all of the basic strategies of warfare and once he learned those, she taught him the advanced forms as well. Soon he was a master tactician as well as a master spearman, and a hand-hand combat expert.
All the while, he received private tutoring from Athena herself. She taught him the arts, mathematics, sciences, social studies, and so on. She taught Cruxos to be fluent in all the modern languages as well as the ancient dead ones.
His other relatives taught him their ways as well. Cruxos especially took to the bow and hunting of Artemis and the musical arts of Apollo.
Adolescence: ([13-17] By the age of fourteen, Cruxos had become an accomplished general who had led scores of battles against the monsters and vagrants who threatened the peace of Olympus.
At the age of sixteen, Cruxos left Olympus to begin his rite of passage into godhood, a trial of sorts. He was to live in the mortal realm and accomplish a deed fitting of earning godhood
Other: Always has his spear and shield close by, prays to his family every morning and every night, always goes down to the beach and up to the Tower’s roof at least once a day.

Spoiler: NightwingName: Dick Grayson
Hero Name: Nightwing
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Officially solo, but aids the Bat Family, the Justice League, and the Teen Titans when the need arises.
Powers/weapons:
Abilities: Acrobatics, Computer Hacking, Escapology, Genius Level Intellect, Indomitable Will, Investigation, Martial Arts, Stealth, Swordsmanship, Tracking
Weapons: Eskrima sticks, wingdings (his version of batarangs), smoke pellets, grapple gun
Face Claim:
Spoiler: Matthew Lawrence
Voice Claim: Scott Menville
Casual Appearance: Dick's civilian clothes are nothing special, as he dresses more to blend in than anything. He wears an assortment of graphic t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes in pleasant weather and maybe a light jacket or hoodie if it is chilly out. If the need arises, as the son of Bruce Wayne he does have the means to look more professional by breaking out a suit and tie.
Super Appearance:
Spoiler: Nightwing
Personality: Time has made Dick more serious in nature, but he is still far less brooding than the Bat- even so far as to still be rather outgoing among those he trusts. He is terrible at keeping in touch. Although he has quietly kept tabs on his former teammates since they all went their separate ways, he rarely crosses paths with them and only if he needs help professionally. He isn't much of a romantic, as he is still not over Starfire nor his brief fling with Barbara Gordon. He spends most of his time isolating himself in his work and mentoring the new Robin(s).
History:Spoiler: The last ten yearsAfter the Teen Titans slowly drifted apart, Dick returned to Gotham City under Batman's orders expecting to be treated more as a partner than a sidekick. It was immediately clear that wouldn't be the case and the relationship between Dick and Bruce suffered as a result. Barbara Gordon, who had taken the guise of Batgirl while he was away, was there for him. She helped him preserve a fractured relationship with Bruce and earned his trust and friendship. Just as importantly, she was there for him as he dealt with missing his team...and losing Starfire. Barbara became his confidant, and in time, their relationship evolved into something more complicated than just friendship.
It wasn't long after Dick's eighteenth birthday that everything went to Hell. An already thin as ice relationship between Batman and Robin was, at last, totally severed when Robin found out through miscommunication at the JLA that Batman had not only been closely monitoring the Teen Titans, even in the privacy of their own Tower, and that the Bat had even gone so far as to have some of the members of the League, himself included, quietly intervene during some of their most critical but successful missions. All the while he lied to the League so that they thought Robin had actually cleared it and had requested their help himself. That breach of trust followed by condescension and a stubborn unapologetic attitude from Bruce when confronted was the final straw. Dick took his share of the inheritance and moved to Bludhaven where he became Nightwing. When Barbara tried to stop him, he blew up and ultimately made her choose between him or Batman's crusade. As if the coffin needed any more nails, the entire Bat Family was rocked by the Jason Todd incident. As awful as this incident was, it did at least have one positive effect. Barbara and Dick reconciled setting in motion a better future for the Bat Family.
The new Robin, Tim Drake, idolized Dick and tried to copy him in every way. This didn't sit well with Bruce, who was worried that Tim would try something recklessly out of his league to ultimately get himself killed. Beyond that, Bruce was having a hard time relating to the boy. Under Alfred's advice and Barbara's constant pressure, he finally gave in and reached out to Dick in hopes that the old Robin could mentor the new Robin. Dick, again under Barbara's constant pressure, agreed. That decision changed the dynamic of the Bat Family forever. Tim and Dick formed an instant connection, and immediately Dick became a big brother for Tim. As he took more and more time away from Bludhaven to be there for Tim, he spent more time around Bruce. Dick and Bruce eventually and very gradually rehabilitated their relationship for Tim's sake. Nightwing even came to help out in Gotham from time to time.
All this time, Dick has never once forgotten the team. He still keeps the communicators active, just in case. He has kept a watchful eye on each member of the original team, following them closely over the years. He has reserved his strictest supervision for Terra, the honorary Titan, ever since Beast Boy told the team of her sudden revival. Though her memories seem lost and her powers gone, Dick still fears that someday the latter could reemerge without the former...and that Slade could come for her. After the clattering of stones in the last bar fight she broke up, Dick has become concerned enough to travel to Jump City strictly for observation purposes.

Spoiler: Characters By Lady CelesteSpoiler: Princess SerikaName: Princess Serika
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: None yet in her own right, but she and her sisters are collectively referred to in the Other World as the Scarlet Spiders: a group name that has more or less caught on in reports of their sightings in the human world.
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Alignment: Villain/Neutral by association, but Hero at heart
Loyalties: Royal Family of the Other World
Powers/Weapons: Like her mother and sisters, Serika can transform herself, partially or completely, into a large red widow spider or into a multitude of red widow spiders; the former includes being able to sprout four spider limbs from her back and/or turn one or more of her human limbs into spider limbs, while the latter includes being able to summon spiders at will. Being a part-spider humanoid, Aranya can also climb on walls/ceilings with ease, can generate a spider-like silk, and has a venomous bite.
Face Claim: Rosabell Laurenti Sellers (except with pale white skin and blood-red eyes)
Voice Claim: Rosabell Laurenti Sellers (think Tyene Sand from Game of Thrones)
Casual Appearance:
Spoiler: Samples of Serika's Royal Dresses
Super Appearance: Serika’s "battle" outfit is red and black like those of her sisters, in her case consisting of a sleeveless black suit with a red triangle in the front, as well as black boots and fingerless gloves.
Personality: Janos’ daughters have constantly had to prove themselves, and as the youngest and least experienced daughter, Serika has even more to prove. Loyal to the crown and determined to save the kingdom of her birth, Serika still has something of a soft spot for the human world and does not see humans as enemies, even though the circumstances demand that she do whatever is necessary to save the dying Other World. Nevertheless, Serika does not forgive easily once she or someone she cares about has been hurt, even in relatively minor cases.
History: The youngest daughter of the newly-crowned King Janos, Princess Serika was trained all her life to one day join her older sisters as the royal family's personal guard, and recent events have cemented her loyalty to the crown all the more. Her grandfather, the original King of the Other World, was a kind and just ruler, but became weak and defenseless in his old age despite still carrying within him the immense powers that had allowed for the creation of the Other World. As a result, the old king was brutally murdered, and his heart - which contained his powers - was stolen by the chaos monster Final and taken deep into the infinite Chaos between worlds. Then-Prince Janos sent his army to recover the stolen heart, but one of Serika’s sisters, Princess Ananzi, all but demanded to be given a chance to track down the thief and recover the heart herself, both to avenge her grandfather's death and to prove that she and her sisters were worthy to lead the royal armies. Janos assented, agreeing at Ananzi's request to give control of the royal armies to his daughters if Ananzi succeeded. Days later, Janos returned to the royal palace with Ananzi’s body, Ananzi having reportedly sacrificed herself to prevent Final from absorbing the heart’s power, but thankfully Janos was able to recover the heart himself and bring it back home, where Janos subsequently absorbed its power to become the new king.
Ananzi is still hailed as a hero to this day, and Janos’ recent coronation heralds a new beginning for the Other World. Janos' first act as king was to begin preparations to invade the human world in a desperate attempt to save the Other World, which has since fallen into utter ruin due to an unknown curse and is in danger of dying off altogether. To this end, Janos’ remaining daughters have taken to leading occasional guerrilla attacks in the human world, ranging from food-smuggling and reconnaissance/espionage missions to outright vandalism of Greco-Roman temples, while the soldiers who accompany the princesses on these missions have sometimes been known to kidnap defeated foes for desperately needed slave labor to rebuild the Other World’s shattered economy and crumbling infrastructure. Only the eldest, Crown Princess Nephila, does not take part in these missions, because she is the heir to the throne and therefore too valuable to risk losing to the enemy. Serika, for her part, was only recently allowed to join her sisters on these missions after her venom grew in, though she is almost always carefully guarded and supervised due to her lack of real-world experience compared to her sisters.

However, the soul-self also gives Raven a natural affinity for magic, as well as other more powerful abilities (e.g. time manipulation) that generally require much more power than normal and may therefore cause a great deal of strain on Raven when used.
Face Claim: Gemma Ward (w/ Raven’s usual skin/hair coloring, of course)
Voice Claim: Tara Strong (naturally)
Casual Appearance: Despite what most Teen Titan fans might have expected, Raven wasn't particularly inclined toward the goth look. Instead, especially in her later years, she leaned more toward a classy, elegant look that blended in easily at formal and casual gatherings alike. Her choice of dress is also noticeably more conservative than most, at times coming across as old-fashioned or somewhat prudish, but never so much so as to look frumpy or unflattering.
Super Appearance: As Raven's tastes in fashion coalesced around a "classy conservative" look, this gradually carried over into her superhero outfit, which has otherwise remained more or less unchanged. Her boots became taller, covering up to the middle of her thighs, and her leotard is now a long dress with slits for her legs on either side to balance modesty with mobility.
Personality: Much has changed in Raven's personality since her Teen Titan days. Originally reserved and almost completely cold while trying to suppress her connection to Trigon, Raven was finally free to let her emotions run loose after Trigon was vanquished. Since then, she gradually learned to balance her emotions more as she reached adulthood, becoming more mature. Nowadays, even to those who may not know her, she seems to exude a quiet wisdom beyond her years, which some may find intriguing and fascinating, while others may find her intimidating and almost unreal.
History: Years ago, when Starfire had disappeared after being pulled into the future by Warp, Starfire spoke of a terrible future for most of the other Titans, in which Raven had become completely isolated and slipped into insanity after losing all contact with the Titans. Raven never personally saw this dark future, but she learned well from Starfire's descriptions of it, making sure to keep in contact with the Titans as much as she could and later branching out into other social circles for heroes and civilians alike. This ensured that, even when the old team was technically disbanded, Raven was never truly alone in life.
As the years went by and some of the Titans retired or otherwise moved on, Raven found a much-needed outlet in creative writing, from poetry to supernatural/fantasy novels. Initially writing only as a hobby, she eventually took to publishing her work under the pseudonym Rachel Roth. Before long, “Rachel’s” works were ranking in the top five of every bestseller list in the supernatural genre, eventually requiring Raven to disguise her nonhuman features for book signings, interviews, and other events. Occasionally she may write a subtle tribute to her fellow Titans’ adventures that the general public never got to hear about, though she always makes a point to get the consent of the Titan(s) in question before submitting any such story for publication.
Unbeknownst to the public, however, Raven does quite a bit of supernatural diplomacy on the side as well. Being such a well-known figure from her Titan days and the newly-purified daughter of Trigon, Raven has slipped into the unofficial role of an inter-dimensional ambassador on behalf of Earth, more often than not working with Herald in this capacity. This has in many ways helped to bolster Raven’s writing career as well, leaving her with no shortage of sources of inspiration for future stories.
Other:Spoiler: Partial List of Published Works
- Brushogun:
A novelization of the life and death of Brushogun, from his humble beginnings as an artist to his centuries-long reign of terror in Tokyo to his years of torment at the hands of a corrupt police officer, all culminating in his last desperate attempts at salvation at the bitter end. This is Rachel Roth’s best-selling full-length novel to date, but Raven herself has never made any profit out of it, as she and her fellow Titans had all agreed to donate the profits to charity.
.- The Wooden Men:
A more family-friendly story loosely based on Raven’s encounter with a race of dryad-like beings in the forests of Argentina. The wooden men are pacifists who respect and care for humans, with the sole exception of Hashi, who hates humans so much that he becomes violent toward them and is later cast out of the forest for his crimes. Hashi grows weak and is forced to seek refuge in a human village, where the local children nurse him back to health and give him his first clothes: a little green hat and vest. After gradually warming up to the children, Hashi is heartbroken when they fall sick from a plague sweeping the village, and begs his fellow wooden men for medicinal plants to save them. The wooden men happily oblige and are pleased with Hashi’s change of heart. Though he is accepted back into the forest, Hashi cannot bring himself to leave the village, so he is planted in the village square and grows into a tall pine tree, his vest still wrapped around his trunk and his hat still hanging from his branches. Ironically, but unbeknownst to the general public, the actual story was very different. Most notably, the real Hashi never had any such change of heart, but instead Raven fought and defeated him after he turned to dark magic to try to wipe out humanity.
.- The Mark of Skath:
A fictionalized account of Raven’s conflicts with Trigon throughout her whole life, with the main character Sparrow as a well-disguised stand-in for Raven herself. This was Raven’s first published novel, originally written as a way for her to cope with the residual trauma of everything Trigon had put her through. However, it proved so popular and so satisfying for her to write that she was soon convinced to start turning it into a full book series.

Spoiler: GothName: Unknown**
Villain Name: Goth (most recent)
Age: Unknown (looks to be in his 30s or late 20s)
Gender: Male
**Like most of his kind, Goth is very secretive about his real name. To know the real name of one of their kind is to assert power over them, and so only the exceptionally powerful (e.g. King Trigon) can give out their real names freely without fear of being enslaved by some upstart human.
Alignment: Villain/Neutral, depending on what he feels like doing at any given time.
Loyalties: Himself. All others are flexible on any given day.
Powers/weapons: Goth’s primary power, which he can use in both human and demon form, is hypnotic suggestion. One look in his eyes or one whisper from him can put the average human in a deep trance within a matter of seconds, in which state the victim will feel compelled to do whatever he tells them to do. However, Goth must remain within close proximity of the victim to maintain the trance, which can be broken through sheer force of will or with sufficiently powerful countermeasures. Furthermore, although putting more than one victim in a trance at a time is possible in theory, doing so in practice would severely weaken Goth’s hold on each individual victim, until even the slightest distraction would break the trance on all of the victims at once.
In demon form, Goth gains the following additional abilities:
- Superhuman Strength
- Pyrokinesis
- Flight (wings)
- Razor-Sharp Teeth
- Retractable Razor-Sharp Claws
Face Claim: Ben Barnes (see “Human Form” below)
Voice Claim: Stuart Townsend (think Lestat from “Queen of the Damned (2001)” blended with Dorian Gray from “The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)”)
Casual Appearance:Spoiler: Human Form
Spoiler: Demon FormOutfit not necessarily included.
Super Appearance: Goth’s demon form is more than enough to count, so he doesn’t really bother with any other costumes unless a particular occasion calls for one.
Personality: At his core, Goth is a hedonist who will do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, no matter who gets stepped on in the process. The different personas he’s assumed over the years tend to consist of highly charismatic figures, mostly musicians and other performers, all with a penchant for social apathy and violence. In fact, the realm he rules over, Dis, is said to grant immortality to its inhabitants but also slowly strip them of their ability to care about anything. Ironically, Goth nevertheless claims to be “caring” in his own way toward the humans he lures into Dis, by giving them a better life free of the cares and worries that troubled them on Earth.
History: Goth, Limbo, Rave, Grunge, Hard Kore… these are just a few of the names he’s used over the years, each with its own unique persona designed to attract young teens/adults and lure them down a path of apathy and violence. Those followers whom he grows especially fond of are eventually invited to come live with him in Dis: the dark realm that Goth rules over. In Dis, all inhabitants are immortal, but gradually lose their ability to care about anything at all, which Goth’s followers often grow to prefer over the troubled backgrounds that many of them come from.
More recently, however, a new prize has caught Goth’s ever-wandering eye: the former Teen Titan, Raven. The half-human daughter of King Trigon himself, Raven wields power befitting her “royal” status among Goth’s kind, and yet she still retains all the delicate virtues and emotional sensitivities of a human. Such power and purity are so seamlessly combined in one rare hybrid flower: a flower that has blossomed all the more in the years since King Trigon’s demise. It would be such a waste to simply take Raven to his realm. To pluck that flower from its roots and plunge it in the cold apathy of Dis… her power would survive and might even grow stronger, but her human emotions and sense of virtue would both surely wither away. Still, that doesn’t mean he can’t visit Earth from time to time, occasionally doing one thing or another from behind the scenes to intentionally stir up a reaction from her, until a more suitable permanent arrangement presents itself.
Aside from that, Goth is more or less content to continue doing his own thing, all the while happily inviting new wayward souls into Dis with his wild antics and sheer charisma.
Other:Spoiler: Known Past & Current Personas
- Limbo: A rock and roll star idolized by teens and feared by parents. The original Teen Titans once briefly encountered him in this persona, when he incited a riot at a concert in the town of Eden Crest at the request of Madame Rouge, the latter of whom needed the diversion in order to steal an anti-aging formula being developed in the area. The Titans successfully stopped both the riot and the theft, but as Rouge was quickly identified as the main culprit behind the overall scheme, Limbo was able to make a relatively clean getaway, barely even leaving a blip on the Titans’ radar and parting ways with the Brotherhood of Evil long before their downfall.
.- Rave: The one-time king of the underground nightclub scene in the UK. There were countless attempts in the past to have his music banned, citing an abnormal influence on his listeners and extremely anarchist themes in his music, but no actual evidence of any wrongdoing could ever be traced back to him. Instead, in a highly controversial twist, one of Rave’s most vocal detractors was caught deliberately tampering with his equipment, adding violent subliminal messages to the music in an attempt to frame Rave for doing so. The critic’s very public arrest and trial stayed in the headlines for years, and while the critic insists to this day that he was the one who was framed, that incident alone sparked riots across the country and a growing hatred and mistrust among the local youth toward authority figures.
.- Grunge: Grunge’s approach was much more subtle and manipulative than those of his other personas. Instead of directly inciting chaos or encouraging rebellion, Grunge used more visceral and nihilistic themes in his music to indirectly expose the ugliest, most depraved aspects of human nature and to portray life overall as a pointlessly miserable void. Although his time as Grunge was far less chaotic than any of the personas that came before, the wayward youth flocked to Grunge in droves during the height of his fame, cynically rejecting their normal lives in favor of the eternal, carefree bliss offered to them in Dis.
.- Hard Kore: An extreme stuntman and athlete specializing in feats ranging from parkour to stunt driving to the use of various weapons. As dangerous as these stunts tended to be, Hard Kore himself seemed innocent enough… until his stunts started to feature outright crimes and shamelessly blatant “tutorials” on how to commit said crimes, including how to rob a bank undetected, how to break oneself out of prison, and most infamously of all, how to “flip the script” during an arrest by kidnapping the arresting police officer. Needless to say, Hard Kore was swiftly taken off the air after that, but the damage was already done. Hard Kore’s illicit teachings spread like wildfire among his fans and among criminal elements around the world, inspiring many of his fans to commit similar crimes, emboldening existing criminals at every level, and even setting off a sharp increase in cop kidnappings until countermeasures were promptly developed specifically to counteract the methods Hard Kore had taught.
.- Goth: A horror movie star best known for supposedly never removing his makeup. Goth is his newest persona to date, as well as the most open about his true inhuman nature, even if the general public thinks he’s just an extremely dedicated method actor. Goth’s films flirt with a wide range of macabre and subversive themes, and copycats imitating his movies in one way or another (including criminal activities and even authentic dark magic spells) have become increasingly common. Aside from all of that, Goth also has one other notable character quirk in that, instead of signing autographs and giving them to fans, he insists on receiving autographs from his fans in a book that he carries with him at all times.

Spoiler: Screech OwlName: Fiona Nilson
Hero Name: Screech Owl
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: The Teen Titans
Powers/weapons:
Owl Physiology: Fiona has powers that mimic the natural abilities of owls. They include
- Summonable tawny red wings 26 feet wide that grant flight up to 60 mph and silent flight at slower speeds
- Enhanced vision and hearing, including night vision
- Enhanced agility, reflexes, balance, and endurance
- Retractable talons within her feet, similar to Wolverine’s claws
- Increased neck flexibility, allowing her to turn her head 270 degrees in nearly any direction
Screech: Fiona can emit high-pitched sonic waves from her mouth at 150 decibels. This sound can rupture human eardrums, shatter glass, and push away objects in a 30-foot wide by 60-foot long cone away from her.
Face Claim: Sophia Lillis, specifically her IT appearance
Voice Claim: Olivia Olson
Casual Appearance: When she isn’t in her school uniform, Fiona has mastered the “casual punk” look. Black jeans or fishnets with a delightfully red skirt with a sleeveless shirt are about 70% of her wardrobe. She wears a fair few bracelets and a necklace with a small black crow skull. When the weather turns cold, she has a few warm flannels. Normally she wears combat boots or running shoes.
Super Appearance: A tawny red cloak and hood covers her back and head. It has holes for her arms and wings. A cowl resembling an owl face covers the upper half of her face. The beak covers her nose while leaving her mouth free to emit her sonic attacks. Muted red and brown form-fitting fabric covers her chest and legs while allowing a full range of movement. Brown boots with spaces for talons to emerge without ruining them protect her feet. Her fingerless gloves have hardened ridges on the knuckles for more effective hand-to-hand combat. Elbow and knee guards shields her from the worst of her landings. Her wings are mottled red and brown, similar to a great horned owl mixed with a red morph eastern screech owl. A fan of feathers is located at the base of her spine and allows her to turn in the air.
Personality: Despite her punk rock look, she’s actually quite friendly. High-energy and intelligent, she dislikes stagnation and craves stimulation. She’s an argumentative person, naturally inclined to debate until she has proven that she is right, as always. Despite her tendency to argue, she’s also a social butterfly. Her ability to make a new friend is borderline supernatural, and some even consider it a power all on its own. She doesn’t mind what others think of her but loves praise. She can definitely come across as arrogant, but if you ask her, she’s simply got a lot of self-confidence. She’s a very driven person, full of ambition and new ideas. She dreams of one day being one of the Justice League.
History: Fiona has lived in Jump City her entire life. She led as normal a childhood as one could in a city that plays home base to a group of superheroes. Perhaps the only notable thing that happened to her as a child is witnessing a battle between the Teen Titans and the Brotherhood of Evil.
However, on her 13th birthday, she underwent drastic physical changes. Her eyes grew larger, her hearing sharpened, and she was capable of more impressive physical feats. The most extreme changes however, were the hooked talons that would appear randomly, often shredding her shoes or blankets. Additionally, two grotesque growths appeared on her back, which grew fuzzy down while they grew larger. At first she was unable to hide her wings, but that was one of the first of her abilities she learned to master. It took a year for her wings to grow to full size, and even then it took another 3 months for her primaries to finish growing.
At 14, she jumped off a building. For a second, she plummeted. Then, her wings caught the air and she was rapidly flying towards another skyscraper. Unfamiliar with the intricacies of flight, she narrowly missed flattening herself against a building and gently soared down over oncoming traffic. With the last of her effort, she landed on a sidewalk and nearly collapsed. Flight took a lot of energy. Over the next 8 months, she perfected her flight and discovered her screech ability. When she was 15, she was contacted by the Teen Titans. Her parents were trepidatious, but she was eager to become a full-time superhero. She now lives in Titan Tower and when she’s not defeating bad guys and uncovering supervillain plots, she goes to school at Murakami High School.
Other: She’s the worst about bird puns. Sometimes she spends hours thinking of a new bird-themed quip to use.

Spoiler: BlitzName: Tim Finnegan
HeroVillain Name: Blitz
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Alignment: Minorly evil. Just enough for crime, not enough for murder or anything
Loyalties: Himself!
Powers/weapons:
Electrical Manipulation: Capable of generating blasts, bolts, waves, balls, and pretty much any other form of offensive electrical attacks, he has the capability of being incredibly deadly. Additionally, he can manipulate existing electricity from generators, power lines, electronics, and even storms. He is also capable of simply smothering the electricity.
Lightning Solidification: Although he can use electricity in a more primal state, he can also use it to create semi-solid weapons, armor, and shields out of electricity. These will dissipate if we wills it, but may remain solid long enough to deliver the blow as a ranged attack.
Electrical Durability: He is immune to electrical-based attacks and blasts. Additionally, the electricity within his body gives him enhanced durability, stamina, speed, and a minor healing factor.
Electric Mind: His brain and nerves work faster than the average person. This allows his brain to be almost computer-like in calculations and analysis. Additionally, he can detect nearby electricity, the exact distance and direction, and how much there is. Anything robotic or organic with nerves gives off a ping to him.
Face Claim: Aiden Gallagher
Voice Claim: Aiden Gallagher
Casual Appearance: Tim usually dresses in whatever is comfortable and appropriate for the weather. Mostly this means jeans in interesting colors, a belt, a t-shirt with a movie/band/show/weird pattern on it, and grey shoes with no laces.
Super Appearance: Blitz’s appearance is just regular clothes: black pants, black hoodie, black gloves, and a mask that covers the bottom half of his face. The mask has a graphic of teeth and fangs in stark white. These allow him to move quietly, undetected, and inconspicuous if he needed to disappear into a crowd. However, if he is tossed into combat (probably against his will), he will generate a full suit of knight armor in glowing blue lightning. This comes with a spear and shield.
Personality: Tim is a lovable rogue. Charismatic, intelligent, and bitingly witty, his friends love him and his enemies hate him. He has a natural confidence that tends to get him what he wants. However, this is not enough. He looks out for himself and only himself. He’s willing to go to almost any lengths to keep himself alive and entertained. That’s partially why he took up crime. Despite his criminal nature, he never considers murder. At most, he we knock out or incapacitate somebody long enough to steal their cash and escape.
History: Tim’s father left when he was 7. His older brother left the house at 18, when Tim was 12. Alone with his mother and younger sister, Tim was determined to keep his family afloat. He adopted a charming personality to win over people. At 13, he discovered his power: he could knock people out with a touch. He could turn off security cameras and alarms. And he could disappear into crowds. He began to rob stores, only large chains that wouldn’t be affected. For 4 years, he’s been robbing stores in the night.
Other: Tim has only ever killed one thing: a bird. When testing out his ranged power, he fried a nearby pigeon. The sight of the burned and twitching bird made Tim swear and oath to never subject a human to the fate of electrocution.

Spoiler: Bellona
Name: Jana
Hero Name: Bellona
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Superman and Supergirl first, anyone else second
Powers/weapons:
Kryptonian Abilities: Jana possesses the same strengths and weaknesses as other Kryptonians as a result of her DNA template and the effects of a yellow sun:
Kryptonian Invulnerability: Kryptonians are one of the most durable species in the universe and anything short of a kryptonite weapon, a black hole, a red sun, magic, or a beat down from a being of Darkseid’s caliber will fail to kill them
Super Strength: Jana’s relatively little time spent absorbing yellow sun radiation means that her strength is not fully developed yet, but is getting stronger every day. At the moment, her strength allows her to lift and carry 100 tons and strike with the same amount of force, and potentially more if at superhuman speed
Super Speed: In a similar vein, Jana has highly increased speed, but not at her full potential. As of recently, she can break the sound barrier at a flat-out run or flight
Superhuman Stamina: Super-speed, super-strength, flying, and heat vision all require tremendous amounts of energy. By absorbing solar radiation, Jana can offset some of the cost of using these superpowers. Using multiple powers at once requires even more amounts of energy and drains her reserves faster. She is more often than not exhausted by the use of her incredible abilities, but can recharge by spending time in the sun. Her body is still getting used to the amounts of radiation it can receive and retain, wasting a good portion that other Krytonians would put to use. This imperfect cycle makes it hard for her to push herself consistently
Increased Vision: Jana can see the entire spectrum of light, granting her telescopic vision, microscopic vision, infrared vision, vision into the ultraviolet spectrum, and x-ray vision. She cannot, however, see through lead. She is still learning how to use this with greater precision
Increased Hearing: Jana can hear at any pitch, frequency, or volume
Anti-Gravitational Organs: Originally used to protect Kryptonians from Krypton’s crushing gravity, Jana’s anti-gravitational organs allow her to fly in any direction and generate her own leverage at any point in open space
Heat Vision: By releasing powerful bursts of solar radiation in the form of rays from her eyes, Jana can fire beams of intense heat. She can control the heat and power of these rays. Using her heat vision drains her of solar radiation very quickly. Because of this, there is a finite amount of time and power that she can use her heat vision. After that, her heat vision is barely more than a hair dryer, if it even works at all
Superhuman Lungs: As a clone of Supergirl, Jana retains Kara’s power to release hurricane-force wind from her lungs, along with the ability to chill the wind as a means to freeze targets. She can also do the same in reverse, sucking large amounts of gas or vapor into her lungs
Healing Factor: In addition to nigh-invulnerability, Kryptonians also possess a healing factor that allows them to recover from anything that injures, but does not kill them
Face Claim: Elle Fanning
Voice Claim: Elle Fanning
Casual Appearance: Jana’s outfits are mostly homogeneous, varying only slightly in color or design. Slightly ripped jeans paired with old t-shirts and a flannel shirt two sizes two big, with her scuffed running shoes completing the grunge look. If the day calls for it, she may swap the t-shirt for a tube top or the flannel for a hoodie. She wears a Superman charm on a silver chain necklace beneath her shirt.
Super Appearance: While Jana might prefer to remain inconspicuous, Bellona is anything but. Sporting a set of lorica segmentata, the armor of the early Roman Empire, and a ridge helmet with plume of red horsehair, Bellona appears almost as an angry goddess delivering divine retribution. A red cape flutters behind her like a flag of war.
Personality: Originally cold and ruthless, Superman and Supergirl helped her overcome her initially frigid demeanor. Still somewhat aloof, Jana is making attempts to better connect with others. She is still highly possessive of her belongings and even the people she considers “hers”. She is a naturally curious person but also very guarded of her interests and emotions. She sometimes struggles with anger and tempering what she perceives as the “correct” way of doing things.
Spoiler: HistoryProject Cadmus was known for being highly secretive, even within its own ranks. If you could be kept in the dark about anything, you were. Secrets and lies were worth their weight in kryptonite. This proved to be a mistake, and led to the creation of not one, but two Supergirl clones.
Created from a blood sample from Supergirl and mixed with a variety of human DNA, Jana was originally designed to be used as a weapon to take care of Superman if he ever went rogue. Her childhood was governed by cold scientists and repeated exposure to kryptonite, leaving her weak and in deteriorating health. However, one scientist took pity on her, and would bring her toys or drawing utensils.
They were of course, discovered, and the scientist “disappeared”. Jana was more alone than ever, with only the clinical researchers to take care of her. Determined now to escape, she made several attempts, each unsuccessful. Security grew tighter and tighter around her until she was almost always fitted with a collar with small kryptonite crystals embedded in it. Things seemed hopeless for Jana, who wasted away, day by day. Forced to participate in combat exercises, she was very carefully trained in the art of war. She was kept in constant physical and mental exercise, trained in a variety of weapons, martial arts, and combat forms, along with being educated in matters of physics, chemistry, strategy, biology and anatomy, and mathematics. One mistake changed all of that.
A member of the security team left her door unlocked. Whether or not this was an accident, he too “disappeared”. Nonetheless, it was too late. Jana snuck through the halls, as fast and as quiet as she could. Room by room, floor by floor, she could almost taste her freedom. Finding a knife in one of the rooms, she sawed the leather of the collar enough to pull it over her head. Her heart beat as she left that horrible band of leather and the sickly, glowing green crystals behind.
In another room was salvation. Despite the steel bars on the windows, she yanked open the curtains and gasped as a strength she had never felt flowed through her. It was like every nerve was on fire! Without realizing, she had pulled away the bars like ribbons. She shattered the window with her bare hands, elated to discover should was not cut. She sprung from the window in a massive leaping bound.
After the adrenaline wore off, her earlier elation turned to horror as her senses were overwhelmed with input. She huddled under a drainage pipe for hours, shaking as she tried to shut the horrible images and sounds out. Eventually, the authorities were called to see about a 15 year old girl in a hospital gown in a drainage pipe. At the sight of seeing the entire biological processes of two adult humans, Jana’s mind got dangerously close to breaking. Her training asserted itself against potential threats, and she shattered the bones in one cop’s arm before throwing the other against a tree and flying off in fear.
News of this eventually made it to the Justice League and alerted the likes of Superman and Supergirl, who were curious about the reports of a Supergirl lookalike going off the rails. They managed to calm her down enough to ask her a few questions. Taking her under their wing, the cousins began deprogramming her and helping her become less of a threat to herself and others. Over time, she began to trust them more and became less ruthless and cold. Despite a rough beginning, she is fairly close with the original Supergirl, who considers her family.
As of recently, Superman and Supergirl have been conferring with each other and other teams to allow her to act as a superhero while under supervision. They believe she is ready for it, and she is eager to please them. They have decided on the new Teen Titans team, and have scheduled a day to introduce her to them. If they get along, she will be on the team as a trial run. She’s done some of her own research on the team and is interested, but nervous at the prospect of working with strangers.
Other: She is not very close to Superboy but does consider him a part of the Kryptonian family. Being a near-clone of Supergirl has resulted in slightly different looks and powers. Additionally, Jana’s repeated exposure to Kryptonite at a young age may have stunted the development of her powers, and she might never reach the same physical level of Supergirl.

Starfire, as always, is loyal to a fault and fiercely protective of those she cares about. Feelings are the fuel behind her powers and she either needs to stay positive or angry in order to keep them going.
History: Ten years ago, it was time for Koriand'r's coming-of-age ceremony back with her own people. Leaving Earth to return to Tamaran was one of the hardest decisions she ever made, but she knew it had to be done. Starfire was placed in an induced coma which caused her to forget many of her adventures and relationships on Earth, most of which returned to her over the next year or so once she emerged as a full-fledged Tamaranean. Since, she has married Prince Karras in order to ensure peace and unity between the Southern States of Tamaran and Tamaras. It's a loveless marriage and Starfire doesn't exactly attempt to change that, as she feels as though she has experienced love and Karras will not be able to provide her with anything like what she once felt for Robin. Nonetheless, Karras and Koriand'r remain amicable. While her Guardian still technically rules Tamaran, she has been aiding as a council member and crown-princess for the past eight years, diffusing another potential civil war and Gordanian attack. She hasn't returned to Earth since, knowing that it wouldn't be the same with the team, and instead has used her new position of authority and busy schedule as an excuse as to why she can't go back.
Other: Starfire has recently discovered K-Pop and is thoroughly enjoying it.
Spoiler: BA SPOILER
Name: Ek Balam
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Xibalba/Ba
Age: 284 years in Xibalba, which is equivalent to being a 19 year-old in the land of the living.
Gender: Male
Alignment: Lawful Neutral (At least, that ’s what he ’s attempting to be. A for effort.)
Loyalties: First and foremost, Xibalba. Second, to himself. Third, to Ixquic. The Titans are probably somewhere on that list, too.
Powers/Weapons: As a god of the Mayan Underworld, his abilities are those of fear, death, and pestilence. Though his current form limits the extent of his powers, his ancient incantations are still considered strong enough to compete with the demons of this world. He can still partially Shift into a version of his true self, which gives a momentary appearance of a giant reptilian jaguar, though this takes a lot of exertion and cannot be sustained in his mortal form. Mentally, he can still get into people's minds, sensing their fears and failures, though he can't manipulate their reality quite like he can when he is unbound. He always carries a large obsidian blade with sapphire looking stones on the hilt. When it tastes blood, these gems will glow turquoise. The mythology of the weapon states that the souls cleaved with the obsidian knife are sacrificed to Xibalba, which means Ba can harness their power. However, in order to unlock more strength, he has to physically interrupt (cut through) the rune tattoos that bind him with this weapon, which is one of the only tools he can't heal from. This is not advisable as his body can not remain stable without the runes.
In short:
Obsidian Stabby-Stab that will take your soul
Eats people
Is what goes bump in the night
Face Claim: Unknown
Voice Claim: Miguel Ãngel Silvestre
Casual Appearance: Bronze skin and espresso hair, Ba has a scruff of facial hair that's usually kept quite short. His eyes are black, with no differentiation between his pupils and irises. This is a glamour effect, as when he's weak, they revert to a bright turquoise- the same color as the magic that runs through his veins.
90% of the time, Ba dresses himself in long-sleeve shirts and jeans, oftentimes throwing in a turtleneck or hoodie for maximum coverage. Black is his go-to, but he's acquired a few annoyingly bright and eccentric pieces that he cycles through. Magenta fuzzy sweater? Check.
The reason behind Ba's near-constant coverage is due to his entire body being covered in tattoos. These ancient Mayan runes and idols bind him to a mortal form and keep his powers in check. They are often visible on his hands, neck, and feet.
He prefers not to wear shoes unless he has to, keeps his hair tied up most of the time, and has turquoise stone gauges in both ears- a parting gift from his mother. The only other jewelry he has is a small golden hoop in his cartilage.
Super Appearance: When Ba consciously activates his powers, a streak of black appears across his eyes, forming a black mask-like outbreak of iridescent black scales. These razor-sharp scales cover the rest of his body as well, leaving only his face with the appearance of human skin. The entirety of his eyes turn black, save for glowing turquoise irises accented by slitted pupils. He develops long claws at the ends of his fingers and toes.
To anyone on the outside, it merely looks like a super-suit that someone spent too much time on.
Personality: Basically a dead cactus; abrasive, but not actively so. Ba is new to Earth ’s customs, feelings, and interacting with other living beings. He is practical and does not often let what little emotion he has control his actions, or even show for that matter. Ba comes across as consistently unimpressed and often inconvenienced
Would be voted Biggest Debbie Downer in high school superlatives.
Nonetheless, though he is naturally stoic and relatively uninterested, this heightened level of near-constant indifference stems from his role in Xibalba. As the champion of his father and in constant competition with his sister, Ba learned from an early age that emotions only got in the way of his conquests. He knew it was his duty to uphold Xibalba, not to question it.
Now on Earth, he is slowly learning about the multifaceted lives of mortals. He ’s not exactly passionate about it, viewing it more like field research for a final exam he didn ’t ask to take. As he adjusts to his current embodiment, he is discovering how innate emotions are to the human form. Still not quite able to grasp all of them, he is making an effort to learn and understand how this unusual world works. Surprisingly, he is quite talented at mortal things like languages, dancing, and rocking a man bun.
History: Ba is a champion of Xibalba, the ‘place of fear ’ that is equivalent to the Mayan Underworld, but often confused with Hell itself. An immortal, he has bound himself in a Mortal form in order to give Xibalba a representation on Earth while learning about humanity- something that Xibalbans have lost throughout the millennium.
He and his twin sister, Ixquic, were born to the ruling deity of Xibalba, along with dozens of other siblings. What set the twins apart was that they were born the strongest, due to their mother being a creation goddess. The rest of their half-siblings, born to demons, lesser underworld deities, or even mortals, would often be too weak or unable to contain the death magic that ran through their veins.
Growing up, Ba and Ix were trained to oversee the underworld as well as fight for it. They were polar opposites as young demons and not much has changed, though it ’s more of a yin yang sort of balance rather than fire and water.
Always obedient, Ba followed his father ’s wishes and has bound himself in a Mortal form in order to give Xibalba a representation on Earth while learning about humanity- something that Xibalbans have lost throughout the millennium. There has been a few thousand years of separation between demons and humans, making it more of a scientific/observational venture.
Ba spent five years in Mexico, where he first awoke in his new body, before coming to Jump City.
He speaks with his sister often and has returned to Xibalba once in order to compete in the Underworld's Pok-ta Pok, which their team has won every time (Suck it, Hades).
Other: The champion of Xibalba is always hungry. In order to sustain his current body, he needs to consume a lot, resulting in him feeding around five times a day. He can eat anything, but more often than not decides on raw meat or organs. This is mainly due to the fact that he was strictly told that he isn't allowed to eat people.
Ba also has developed a taste for Tapioca pudding cups.
