When there's trouble you know who to call~
Come on in~ We are still accepting!
Cartoon Network's Teen Titans was finally renewed for its 6th season. (See it Jan 2019 on Adult Swim.) Hearing this news has put me in the mood to once again visit this world, so here we are~
This will be an episode-based roleplay! Meaning that we will write little episode-like stories that will become over-arching themes. Once you've been accepted, go ahead and send me episode ideas! We want a nice balance of 'filler' and character/plot developing episodes.
In-Character is here.
Spoiler: The Plot/Timeline"Teen" Titans takes place about 10 years after Everything Changes. All the characters who delighted us in the show have grown and changed and taken on their adult personas. Some have retired, some continue to work as heroes (or villains) to mentor the new generation, and some... well...
Before the Episodes All of the Titans slowly left the Tower and developed lives beyond being heroes. In their place a new group of youngsters have taken up the mantle. This change started with Raven and Seedling, then Luka, Ba, and Static.
Episode One – Back in Jump (Mandatory participation for all accepted characters)
~ Things get a little rough as an old hand plays chess once more.
Spoiler: Expanded SummaryEpisode currently in progress.
Spoiler: The Rules1. First and foremost, please have a working knowledge of Teen Titans! At least know the show~ Knowledge of the comics is a plus, as many people flesh out the show's characters with information from the comics.
2. The basic rules of engagement. No godmoding, power playing, Mary/Gary Sues, you all know the drill~
3. I will be strict with canon characters. If you're going to play them, please play them well! If you'd like to incorporate things from the comics into the characters, please contact me and have links to said comic moments (or at least wiki pages). This is because bringing that lore into our canon could affect other characters! If you need a refresher on the show, every episode is currently available on the Cartoon Network app.
3a. This doesn't mean that OCs will get off easy. They still need to work within the universe and be well written.
4. Please /please/ do not disappear for weeks on end! Two weeks of No-Call-No-Show and your turn in the roleplay will be skipped. One month and your character will be put on ice. Two months and, if essential to a current story, they will be adopted out to someone else. Please don't make us do this!
5. This roleplay is rated Mature, for everyone's safety.. These are Superheroes and Villains after all! Plenty of fighting, cursing, etc. However, there will be no bedroom scenes here. Romance is fine. Bedroom is not.
6. Your applications will be looked over by me and my co-dm, AzraelAlways. We have been roleplaying this subject, and roleplaying in general, for a very long time. If your character isn't up to our standards, we will give you suggestions on how to fix them~ We want to help you play! If you become aggressive, however, your application will be trashed.
7. These rules are subject to change as the roleplay grows and develops.
The next few aren't exactly rules. More like explanations.
8. Since there is a chance of conflicting locations during an episode, please mark your posts with the characters currently participating and their location.
Spoiler: ExampleA coffee shop in downtown Jump, James and Lucas.
His eyes lit up with mirth, though thankfully he didn't smile. Lucas may have hit him for that. "So. You named it..... Spot. It's a- It's a good name. Snappy."
9. If, for some reason, you don't want to play a certain scene in the main thread feel free to play it out over PM or something! Just make sure to PM me with a summary of what happened and where it goes in the timeline so that we can keep things straight~

Spoiler: Current Posting Order
Kirita, DC, Wally, Az, Markov, Price, LMM, and Lady C.
Spoiler: The ApplicationLast Warning. I will be strict with canon characters! You have some leeway since there is a sizable time gap between the episodes and where the roleplay begins, but please stay in character!

Things change, Beast Boy. The girl you want me to be is just a memory.
Name: Gia Stevens (Terra/Tara Markov)
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Terra
Age: 26 years old
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral, Hero if pushed
Loyalties: Slade (previously), Teen Titans (previously)
Powers/weapons: Geokinesis (Not reliable), Enhanced endurance, Above-average physical condition, Advanced skill in hand-to-hand combat
Face Claim: Skyler Samuels
Voice Claim: Ashley Johnson
Casual Appearance: Gia works Jump's bars, so she tries to look the part. Best way to get tips, ya know? Though, unlike some of her co-workers, she doesn't show much skin. Tight long-sleeved shirts, skinny jeans, startling blonde hair tied up in a messy bun, a quick smile ready on her lips. When she's not working she's normally sleeping or in the gym, keeping herself lean and mean. One never knows when they might have to separate a fight. Even here, though, she tries to keep herself covered.
Perhaps to hide the scars that cross her flat chest and hips. A surgery gone wrong. Or, at least, that's how she chooses to remember it.
Perhaps she just likes to sweat.
Super Appearance: She's not a superhero. It's not her thing. Leave it to those who've dedicated their lives to it.
Personality: Gia can be hard to figure out. Naturally a very closed off individual, she only ever lets one see the side she wishes. The flirty bartender looking for better tips. The woman with danger in her eyes for those who come on too strong. The meek shadow on the bus, disappearing almost before being seen.
She doesn't make friends. She doesn't make enemies. She just does what she can to live another day.
History: She was a boarder at Murakami High School. Once she graduated she was lost for awhile, not sure of what she wanted to do with her life. She knew only one thing, she didn't want to leave Jump. This was the only place she knew as home.
Her life from before Murakami was a blur. It's best it stays that way, at least from what her social worker told her. She hadn't come from the best of situations. But it didn't matter anymore. She wasn't that girl anymore.
Things changed.
During one of her nightly wanders, she tended to explore the city when she couldn't sleep, she happened across a bar where the tender had just quit. Being a fast learner, and having a pretty face, got her the job. A job she's proudly held for ten years now. It pays well. Sure, she sometimes steps in as a temp at other bars, but she can afford her apartment every month pretty easily. Life is going well for her. It really is.
Why does she still feel like something is missing?
This part of her history is unknown to her. She was the bastard princess of Markovia, half-sibling to Geo-Force. She gained her powers through an experiment she was put through, which unfortunately left them unstable. After a major accident, her father had her leave the country very young. She then wandered, living off her smarts and luck, until she found herself in Jump. The show takes up her history from there.
When Raven defeated her father, the magic that freed everyone else freed Terra as well. Slade discovered that she was no longer a statue and, realizing that she had lost her memories, set her up at Murakami. Without her knowledge he still watches her. It seems as if her powers are returning, if the clattering of stones during the last bar fight she broke up was any indication.
Other: Was almost in a relationship with Beast Boy as a teen. While she still doesn't remember this part of her past, she finds herself smiling when she sees his picture in local newspapers. She's written this off as having had a celebrity crush on him when she was younger.
Her chest and hips are covered with deep scars from Slade's neuro-armour. She doesn't remember how she got them or the multiple smaller scars she received from his 'training'.
Despite having been out from under his control for a very long time, Gia finds herself driven to keep herself in top shape. She is at the gym almost obsessively. This has definitely been a blessing when having to break up fights.
My muse playlist for her is here.

Spoiler: SladeI am the thing that keeps you up at night. The evil that haunts every dark corner of your mind. I will never rest, and neither will you.
Name: Slade Wilson
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Slade, Deathstroke
Age: Unknown
Gender: Male
Alignment: Villain, though will play Anti-Hero to save his skin or blood.
Loyalties: Trigon, formerly. He is loyal to himself and his family.
Powers/weapons: Superhuman strength/agility/endurance/reflexes due to his super soldier serum. Highly experienced martial artist. Master manipulator. Small healing ability.
Face Claim: Manu Bennett
Voice Claim: Ron Perlman
Casual Appearance: A soldier at heart, Slade is never seen without his armor and gear even when within his own base. Rule number one: When your boots are on the ground you keep your head on a swivel. Even without his armor Slade is a large intimidating dude. He keeps himself in top physical condition, working his body and mind to its failing point every single day. Tall, bulky, but aging.
His hair is going white. He sees it lighten seemingly every morning.
He blames that damn demon, that stupid deal he made. Never mind. So long as his mind is burning brightly behind his ghostly blue eye he'll continue taking contracts. It's about time for Rose to take the helm anyway.
Super Appearance: The same as his casual appearance, though he would never willingly remove his mask.
Personality: Strong-willed. Unbreakable. Drives a hard bargain. Blood-thirsty. Demented.
A demon.
There are many a rumor that circulates around this man. What could be expected of the world's best mercenary? To hear him tell it, quite a few are true too... Completely by coincidence does he feed into this little rumor mill the smaller-minded have created. Slade serves only himself, and whoever happens to be paying him. He's as straight as they come when it comes to his clients, his word is as good as gold. Quiet, respectful, asking for only the information he needs to finish the job.
On his own time? He will dig into every crack in the story. Sniff out every bit of information. Knowledge is power, and he enjoys being a powerful man. On being quiet and respectful? Well... If one has done nothing to upset him. Rose can attest to that.
History: Having lied about his age, Slade joined the United States Army at the tender age of 16. Despite his youth and smaller size, he worked hard and quickly rose through the ranks, first to Major and then to Lieutenant Colonel. Just before being shipped off to Vietnam he met and fell in love with Captain Adeline Kane, who would give birth to his son Grant while he was overseas.
During his time with the military he learned about the experiments that were taking place on the soldiers. The experiment was meant to help them combat truth serums. Instead it gave Slade near super-human abilities.
Unfortunately, the Us government considered him a failure and he was discharged. Distraught and unfulfilled by civilian life, he took up mercenary work. Right around then Adeline became pregnant with their second son, Joseph.
It would come back to bite him. A criminal who wanted information on one of Slade's clients broke into his home and kidnapped the young Joey. Slade was forced to come clean about his double life to her, and when he was unable to save his son, Adeline turned her gun on him.
He's lucky she only took his eye.
He took on other jobs. He fathered a daughter, Rose, on a woman he was protecting. He took on a contract against the Teen Titans, as his firstborn son had died in the attempt. And so the show picks up his storyline.
The question is, now, what he has been doing since Everything Changes. He discovered his daughter and took her under his wing. He kept an eye on the newly freed Terra, in case he should ever need her again. And he took on contracts. Built his empire. Struck against the Titans.
Taught Ravager to do the same.
And now he bides his time...
Other: Though at times he appears to care little for Rose, he didn't originally want her. After what happened with his sons he believed that he would destroy any carrying his blood. When Rose tore out her eye he realized that she would not be ignored. What else could he do but train her to withstand danger he may bring her?
My muse playlist for him is here.

Spoiler: LukaName: Luka Masahashi
Nickname/Hero: Hannya
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Alignment: Hero, though she leans more into the gray shadow than the light.
Loyalties: Family first and foremost, despite how often she’ll sass and talk back to them. Titans.
Powers/weapons: Luka is a empathetic vampire of sorts. She feeds on the energy around her, using it to boost her own physical abilities. (Reflexes, strength, ect.) The stronger the feeling she is feeding on, the more these abilities are boosted.
Unfortunately for her, she also tends to mirror the emotion she is feeding off of. So if she was feeding off anger, for example, it would be far too easy to goad her into a rage. Unfortunately for everyone else, she’s become addicted to the rush that her abilities give her. This causes her to prod and irritate the people around her, as anger is the easiest for her to inspire and feed from.
Face Claim: Yuriko Yoshitaka
Voice Claim: Same as face claim.
Spoiler: Casual Apperance
Despite her love of wearing interesting hairstyles, her clothes tends to be more formal. Flowery blouses, simple cut black pants, nothing that would really make anyone do a double take. Unless she was around some of her more informal friends, of course.
Super Appearance: When going out on missions, Luka tends to wear a mottled black Hakama, something she’s had ever since she was young. The only new piece of equipment is the startlingly red Hannya mask she dons to hide her identity.
Spoiler: Hakama and Hennya mask
(Hannya mask is meant to be red. It has been outfitted with a com and the likes so that her voice isn’t muffled while speaking with her team.)
Personality: Outsiders tend to form one of three opinions on Luka. The first, assuming that she hasn’t targeted them with some sort of jab or joke, is that perhaps she’s a bit unstable. Easily distracted, her thoughts and speech jumping to seemingly random topics and tangents, a coherent conversation with the girl often requires work. This is a side effect of her power. The more people she is around, for example in a mall, the more distracted and easily confused she becomes. Luka hasn’t quite developed an ability to block out emotions that she doesn’t want to feed off. It is this constant sway of energy and mirrored emotions that causes the inconsistencies in her thought process.
If one was to meet her one on one, however, they’d see a very different girl. Assuming they were someone of a higher rank, like the Justice League, or someone else she deeply respected, Luka would become very quiet. This is the side of her that her parents saw the most.
For those who have not? A quick smile and wit would bloom. Her jabs and jokes are meant to be harmless, and it’s often rather surprising what things she notices and comments on. She’s a generally happy girl and enjoys hanging out with people with whom she feels comfortable. While some people enjoy verbal sparring with her, others are quick to get offended. This is a very bad move. Perhaps it’s the draw of her power, perhaps she just enjoys messing with people, but as soon as she realizes she’s struck a nerve she’s likely to press until a fight erupts.
History: Having been born in Japan, it was this tendency to start fights that landed Luka in America. Luka had had a problem with egging people on ever since she was young, though at the time the reason why was unknown. After a couple of fights in her elementary school days, her parents enrolled her in martial arts classes. They thought that perhaps she just lacked focus. If she had an outlet perhaps this unfortunate side of her would go away.
It worked, to an extent. Without knowing about her power, her teachers began the long and slow process of teaching the girl self-control. Learning how to flow through the poses, how to channel all the excess energy she was absorbing into movement and quiet moments, it brought her a peace she was unable to find anywhere else.
When she was out of uniform, however, she was a mixed bag. There was improvement, of course. She tried to keep her cool and not get drawn into her old habits. But by her high school years, with all the changes going on within herself and those around her, she got sucked in. It was just so much /fun/ to poke and prod until someone snapped back. The rush of giddy energy, it was addicting.
After a particularly bad fight, Luka doesn’t remember it as her opponent’s anger had overcome her, her parent’s hands were forced. Thinking that perhaps she just needed time away from the more socially withdrawn culture of her birth country, her mother sent her to her uncle in Jump City.
Murakami High School seemed to be a good fit for the outgoing girl. Here her fellow students were more likely to respond to a jab with another joke rather than anger. She was doing well, and her parents were happy to let her stay.
One day a wayward robot from some villain’s plan had crashed into the school. Bent on destroying everything, it had set about chasing down anything that moved. Luka’s training had kicked in and, while unable to defeat it herself, she had keep the robot’s attention until one of the new Teen Titans was able to locate and collect it. Impressed with her skill, she was invited onboard as an honorary Titan. A few months later, as her power was discovered and tested, she became a Teen Titan in full.
Her parents still don’t know, and she’d rather keep it that way.
Other: While Luka is a Teen Titan, she is also still enrolled in the local high school. Her uncle is aware of the new and exciting development in her life, but her parents are not. As such she tries to keep a balance between school work and butt-kicking.
While she has yet to talk with anyone about it, she’s relieved to know that her inability to focus and the cruel streak that started so many fights were because of a super power rather than some sort of flaw. A power she can learn to control and handle, with or without the mask.
She is fluent in both Japanese and English, and could probably handle a basic conversation in Mandarin.
Luka loves pudding cups and keeps two stashes of them, one in the Tower's kitchen and one in her room.

Spoiler: Side CharactersSpoiler: JamesName: James
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: N/A
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Alignment: Anti-Hero
Loyalties: Solo
Powers/weapons: The ability to manifest thoughts and energy as constructs that appear completely real. This can include making people see doubles of him when fighting, one of his favorite tactics. Or, with prolonged touch and intense concentration, trapping someone in an illusion fully. This last one requires so much time and energy that he’d rather not.
Face Claim: Ben Barnes
Voice Claim: Graverobber from Repo: The Genetic Opera.
Casual Appearance: When he’s wandering Jump just for fun James tends to try and blend in. Dark jeans, come nondescript t-shirt, completely ordinary. He prides himself on his ability to vanish into the background. Probably why he hasn't done what others supers have and changed his long brown hair or warm brown eyes into something more exciting.
Super Appearance: Now, James doesn’t often go about doing hero/villain things. Really, his powers are mostly wasted on him. On the occasion he does go out and do more than digging for information he tends to wear tight fitting clothes in various shades of black.
People who wear solid black to stealth missions honestly annoy the shit out of him. Don’t they know that wearing different shades breaks up the human form and makes it /harder/ to be seen?
Personality: James is smooth. Or, at least, he tries his damn hardest to be. Quick talking, the first to smile and crack jokes, he tries hard to ingrain himself with everyone he meets. One never knows when a contact could be useful, so why let the chance go to waste?
He always has the option to be mean later. But starting out that way? They’d never believe his kindness.
But what happens when someone manages to slip past that mask? It really depends on what emotion they managed to spark. Anger and he’ll have them by their throat begging for their life. Sadness and the man who seemed full of life just a moment ago is withdrawn and dull. His true emotions are powerful and extremely hard for him to reign back in.
History: James had never been inclined to heroics. Ever since his power manifested itself, right around high school, he’d used it more for entertainment. Creating little shows of make-believe for his friends and family, scaring the shit out of unsuspecting bullies, life was good.
But, as much as he tried, no one could stay young forever. Eventually everyone graduated. Eventually everyone started drifting away. Finding himself without his group, James had a minor breakdown. He didn’t know who, or even what, he was without his friends behind him. So he did what any lost young adult would.
He started to travel and, for the moment, has found himself in Jump City.

Spoiler: Adin the Face Stealer
Name: Goes by multiple names, though seems to prefer Adin.
Nickname: None
Age: Extremely old, though they are not the first face-stealer. The first was said to have been born when humans began to covet beauty.
Gender: Doesn't identify with either gender, though has currently been partial to a male's form.
Alignment: Neutral, though has a sadistic streak.
Loyalties: They are loyal to themselves alone.
Spoiler: Powers and WeaponsAdin has the power to steal and wear other people’s faces. To do so they must take the other person’s face in both hands, like a lover going in for a kiss. Then their victim’s face slowly dissolves, leaving the face blank like a mannequin. The victim is still alive, but in a stasis of sorts. They live out their full life like that, or will return completely to life if Adin returns their face.
Adin has many beautiful faces that no longer have a living host. If they come across someone that they do not deem as beautiful, perhaps with a deformity or scar, they will ask if they would like a new face. If they agree the other person be a face-stealer as well. But at least they’re beautiful, right? The only way to turn back is to willingly take their original face back. Until that moment they will live forever, unless killed.
Adin has one last power. They can take the form of whoever’s face they’ve stolen. They will become the exact likeness of that person. They do not have the memories or mannerisms of that person, however, so they do not use it unless to torment a loved one that has come after them.
Voice Claim: Their voice, whether deeper like a males or higher like a female’s, is always calm. There is almost no emotional inflection, unless taunting someone.
Casual Appearance: When they are looking for an adult’s face, Adin normally wanders the well-to-do areas of whatever city or town they find themselves in. So, in order to fit in, they are normally dressed extremely sharply.
When looking for a child’s face, they are so swarmed with insecurities that it’s almost too easy to take their faces and change them, they tend to hang around schools or playgrounds. To this end they dress like a school teacher. Button-down, tie, the whole thing.
Super Appearance: None
Personality: Adin has lived so long that nothing really shocks them anymore. They are calm and collected in almost all encounters with people, unless a loved one of someone who’s face they’ve taken comes after them. They become rather sadistic at that point, taking the form of whoever the loved ones have come to avenge.
There are two things in their life that they truly enjoy. The first is creating more face-stealers like them. It fills Adin with warmth to see someone become beautiful, and forever after he will keep tabs on the beings he has created as if they were their children.
The other is tormenting beautiful people, especially females. They are always so high and mighty, and it thrills them to tear the beauties down from their pedestal before taking the one thing they care about.
Spoiler: HistoryAdin was human once, like most of their species. He was born horribly ugly, though with a wealthy family’s name. As he reached young adulthood his parents found him a beautiful wife, and nothing pleased him more. She was going to love him.
He knew that he wasn’t supposed to see her before their wedding. But he couldn’t help it. He was excited! She loved him, and he loved her, and everything was going to be absolutely perfect. He stood at her door, almost about to knock, when he heard it.
His wife-to-be was crying to her mother. She did not want this wedding. All the wealth in the world wasn’t worth ugly children.
Adin fled his home that night, intent on killing himself, when the face-stealer found him.
A beautiful face, and the ability to steal beauty from those who didn’t deserve it.
He said yes, and he went back home. His wife-to-be was the first face he stole.
From that day on Adin wandered the earth, stealing and giving faces as they saw fit. As time passed they began to lose themselves in their collection. They forgot their past, their true name, everything that they were. They were, simply, a face-stealer now. They wouldn't be able to change back even if they wanted to, their original face forgotten.
Other: Adin is based of the Japanese spirit Noppera-bō and the character Koh from Avatar the Last Airbender.

Spoiler: Characters by Azrael AlwaysSpoiler: Beast BoyName: Garfield Logan
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Gar, Beast Boy, BB, Changeling, Cypes.
Age: 25 years old
Gender: Male
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Titans
Powers/weapons: Animal mimicry and shapeshifting, highly skilled in hand to hand combat, has a werewolf-like ability to shift into a creature known as The Beast which has superhuman strength and speed. While in this form Gar loses control of himself as well as most of his intelligence and cognitive reasoning skills, functioning off pure feral instinct.
Face Claim: Stefano Masciolini (For the Cypes alter ego.)
Voice Claim: Greg Cipes
Casual Appearance:
Before his mutation, Garfield looked like any other kid. He had red hair and freckles. After his parents' serum took its effect, the only thing that remained of the ginger child was his piercing emerald eyes. Now, Gar has green skin and hair to match. Along with the discoloration, the mutation also changed the shape of his ear, causing them to point near the top, and gave him fangs and claws.
While he was scrawny and the shrimpiest of the group back in his teen years, Garfield has filled out in adulthood. His once puny body is now toned with well-defined muscles. He's also gained a few inches, now standing about 5'9”. He ditched the boy band spikes and traded them for a shaggy, unkempt mop.
When not patrolling the streets, Changeling uses a hologram ring to give himself a more human appearance. While in under the rings glamour he has red hair, pale skin, and a mess of freckles though his eyes remain the same.
Personality: While a lot about Garfield has changed, his personality isn't really one of them. He's still a major goofball that lives for a good joke though maybe a bit better with his timing. His love of video games and geek culture also hasn't dulled over the years. One new thing about him, however, is his love of music. After Terra's disappearance he picked up the guitar as a way to deal with the things he was feeling and eventually turned that hobby into a side career as the singer Cypes.

Spoiler: Rose WilsonName: Rose Wilson
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Ravager
Age: 29
Gender: Female
Alignment: Villain, Mercenary
Loyalties: Her father, Slade Wilson, and whoever is paying her the most
Powers/weapons: Rose has precognitive abilities. She can see the future in many different ways. In emotionally stressful or traumatic situations she is often thrust into visions. She can see an entire event happening, often feeling what the focus of her vision is feeling. Most times she comes out of the revelation in pain or in a near hysterical state from all the conflicting emotions running through her. Her abilities also grant her the ability to see fully without her second eye. She can use this skill to function as normal sight or she can concentrate it on a specific person or object and watch their actions. Rose's sight also gives her the capability to see into the near future, only a few seconds or so, but enough to predict movements in combat, making her near unbeatable in fights. She possesses amazing dexterity and agility, allowing her nimbly bounce out of range of an attack or into one of her own. She is highly skilled in most combat techniques though she excels with katanas. She is also highly intelligent and has spent most of her free time over the years studying to follow in her father's footsteps. While her gadgets and inventions fall short of her father's (and often tend to blow up in her face), her real talent lies in biochemistry and pharmaceuticals. She has developed several extremely effective neurotoxins and chemical weapons as well as her own ability boosting drug she calls Haste.
Face Claim: Taylor Momsen
Voice Claim: Pamela Adlon
Appearance: Rose, though she would never admit such things, could be considered a beauty. She is around 5'5", her body slender and toned to perfection, a product of Slade's intense training. She has long stark white hair which she often wears in front of her face like a curtain, hiding her emotions and, more importantly, the imperfection that she is so self-conscious of: her eye. In a desperate attempt to regain her father's trust and love, Rose carved out her left eye, thinking it would bring her closer to the man she admired. She covers her missing piece with an eyepatch when not in uniform and her mask when on missions. Rose has beautiful alabaster skin but is covered from head to toe in scars from her battles and her training. Because of this, when not in her jumpsuit, she often wearing things that cover up the blemishes. The uniform she wears is orange, black and grey. The armor was made for her by her father, a sleeker and more refined version of the armor that Slade had made for Robin. The mask was the final touch. It covered half of her face and one eye, a hole in the back for her hair to flow out.
When not in costume, Rose doesn't put much thought into her clothing. When in the base her attire is usually ripped t-shirts and pajama shorts. When she does have to leave, whether it be to meet with clients or just do normal errands, she basically lives in black or gray sweaters and leggings. Inconspicuous and comfortable.
Personality: To anyone who isn't Slade, Rose is shy and quiet. She is very awkward and unrefined, often lacking the social skills that most people should possess. Living in a base with little human contact has denied her of people skills. She doesn't always realize when things she says are crass or what she should and shouldn't do around others. When in uniform, though, Rose is an entirely different person. She loses her coy demeanor, feeling completely comfortable in her own skin. She knows her job inside and out and she is completely confident in her abilities. Having essentially raised herself until she came into her father's care, Rose is very independent and willful. She knows how to take care of herself and will go on the defensive when it is suggested that she cannot.
She is very hardheaded, just like her dad, and can rarely be swayed once her mind is set on something.
Rose has a deep complex for pleasing Slade. She craves his attention and his praise and will do absolutely to gain it. This deep-rooted emotional attachment caused her to, in an act of desperation, carve out her eye to prove her devotion to the man. She feels that unless she is his perfect apprentice, he will hate and abandon her and she will be alone. She fears isolation and rejection from the masked man, as well as anyone else she grows close to, and so she follows his orders unquestioningly.
Rose is also a bit of an adrenaline junkie. She craves the rush of danger and will often do things just to hype herself up. The adrenaline supercharges her powers and so she has become a bit of an addict. Face Claim: Hayley Williams
Voice Claim: Lauren Tom
Casual Appearance: Dark tights, either black shorts or skirts typically, with flowy shirts. Boots or heels, with dark colors or, specifically, purple accessories. Occasionally she's seen in black jeans and black shirts when she is trying extra hard to blend in. She typically keeps her hair in pigtails but will let it lay down in messy waves on rare occasions.
Super Appearance: Still typically a short black dress with black and purple tights. She either keeps her hair in pigtails when she fights or back in a ponytail to keep it out of her face. Since she's been out of the game awhile she leans more towards an outfit similar to her younger outfit.
Personality: Jinx is almost always sarcastic, sassy, and easily annoyed. When she first meets someone she comes across as quiet and mean, sometimes even mysterious. She still has days where she hates her bad luck powers. When she does her attitude is often even more withdrawn and easily annoyed than normal. If she isn't having a bad day her personality is definitely outspoken and determined. She wants to be respected.
History: After meeting and falling for the feisty Kid Flash, Jinx found herself switching sides. The ones she used to call friends were now enemies, and strangely she was okay with that. The Titans seemed to respect her more than the H.I.V.E. Five ever did. Once the Titans began to disband she found herself on her own again. She decided to try to find herself, she had been letting both her powers and her different relationships dictate her life. She didn't decide for herself. She stepped out of the limelight, even losing touch with her on again off again boyfriend Kid Flash.
On her own she attempted to live as normal a life she could. She slowly got better at the passive control of her powers. No longer did she have slip ups with her powers, causing accidental bad luck spurts. She worked odd jobs for awhile, not wanting to force herself back into school. Her time at both H.I.V.E. and Dark Way Prep was more than enough to keep her away from organized education. She spent her days reading books she found in thrift stores, teaching herself how to live as a normal civilian as best as she could. She spent time as a waitress, a cashier, a barista, and even a dog walker. She never really found her calling -- secretly missing the life of her superhuman days, both villain and hero. Of course, the march of time didn't care that Jinx wasn't enjoying her life. She was more alone than she had possibly ever been.
Eight years after losing the Titans and her friends, she found herself gravitating back to her old life. She would slip through the nights after her shifts, tired and drained. She wasn't sure what she was looking for. Maybe she hoped she'd run into that redhead Kid Flash -- it wasn't that they ever truly broke up, just kind of separated by time. Maybe she hoped one of her old comrades would show up -- even a fight would liven up her life again. Sometimes she found herself wondering what had happened to all of them. The Titans? Cyborg? Gizmo? Mammoth? She always found herself back home, at her tiny one bedroom apartment -- just before dawn. She'd get a few hours sleep and be back at one of her day jobs. She was stuck in a rut for years, and even traveling the streets at night wasn't enough to get out of it.
She's spent the last few years moving into the bar scenes, mostly just watching, examining everyone and hoping to find a new reason to enjoy life again. She does occasionally get her hopes up that the door opening would be one of her old friends, but so far -- no luck. Big surprise huh?

Spoiler: Zinnia
Name: Zinnia "Bella Donna" Garcia
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Bella Donna (literally: beautiful lady, as a plant, Atropa belladonna, having purple bell-shaped flowers and poisonous black glossy berries, commonly known as Deadly Nightshade.)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Alignment: Anti-hero? Hero?
Loyalties: Maxwell "Wolfsbane" Wolfrum, possible Teen Titans(future)?
Powers/weapons:
Spoiler: PowersCorrosive/poisonous blood -- The user has poisons in their blood which the user can use against their opponent or when threatened. Skin contact causes irritation/burns, direct injection into the bloodstream can cause paralysis and death depending upon the amount (except for Maxwell Wolfrum which will be explained below.) Side effects -- blood can harm allies if they come into contact with it, vaccines and medication that work by using the bloodstream do not affect her at all, using her blood too drastically can cause anemia and in extreme cases, she will pass out.
POWER Inability to feel pain. This works for her type of attacks, however, her injuries can get extremely bad before she realizes it -- she also may not realize she is bleeding and cause harm to allies.
Spoiler: SkillsTechnologically skilled
Some medical training (Vascular anatomy based)
MELEE fighting trained some hand to hand and small daggers (Trained to be a soldier)
Spoiler: WeaponsOnce part of the Teen Titans she will work on creating some sort of gun, for now she fights with only a small dagger or two to improve her MELEE damage and to be used to cut herself if she feels the need to add her blood into the mix.
Small injectable vials of her blood give to Maxwell "Wolfsbane" Wolfrum to increase their power (this increase in his power allows him to blink farther distances and to take others with him if he so chooses), can also be used against enemies. (Basically, she's Ana from Overwatch, but with her blood)
Face Claim:
Spoiler: Tori Kelly
Casual Appearance:
Spoiler: Zinnia
Her outfits usually consist of loose fitting long sleeves so she can quickly use her modified weapon. Her arms are rarely exposed because they are scarred from the experiments performed on her in her past.
Super Appearance:
Spoiler: Bella Donna
The sleeves would be a bit looser fitting and flowing so she can use/hide her weapon within them.
Personality: Bella Donna has an intense amount of guilt left over from all the children and others her blood has already killed. This translates over into a deep need to protect those around her that she cares for (currently Maxwell but later the Titans). She is also a creative, making artwork out of her pain. She is motivated by a need to protect those she is loyal to and to possibly one day put an end to the mistreatment of those gifted with powers (metahumans/mutants). It is hard to earn her trust, however, once you have it you will not lose it.
History: Lies. That was the only constant in Zinnia's life. From a young age, she was given away, not to adoption or to long-lost family-- no to a Government bent on using people. Not that they considered them people, no metahumans were lesser beings, here only to further their knowledge and be used as weapons. If the metahuman wasn't able to be used as a weapon, they served no purpose. Luckily Zinnia's abilities could be weaponized, and that is exactly what they tried to do. Her ability was detected before she was born, her blood started to attack her mother's cells as early as 14 weeks. Options for the young family were minimal -- abortion or the mother would die and most likely the baby as well. They didn't have the money or technology to keep them alive. However, while they were trying to decide what to do a blessing occurred, or what they considered a blessing. A man showed up, in a military uniform telling the family that the government (despite being from STAR Labs) was willing to pay for everything. This seemed like a blessing, the government would keep them both alive and they wouldn't be left with a huge medical bill after the birth. Nothing comes without a price though, and the soldier explained that when the baby turned five she would be handed over to the government. The discussion was difficult, but the parents decided they wanted to be able to keep their baby for whatever time they could and agreed to give the baby away when the time came.
The birth was hard, both on baby and mother, but as the government promised they both survived. Her childhood was relatively normal, except for the fact she never cried out in pain. Pain was not a sensation the young girl ever felt. At the age of three, she fell from the bed and broke her arm in two places. Her parents didn't know for two hours. The doctors explained that she didn't know she had hurt herself because her nerves weren't sending the impulses to tell her brain she was in pain. This translated to the inability to feel pain, but none of the doctors were exactly sure why she had this. That wasn't the only issue with the young latina. When she went to get her first blood work done as an infant they quickly discovered that she didn't have what they expected. Her blood was corrosive and painful if it somehow came in contact with the physician's skin. Quickly after this discovery, the government returned and began to do her doctor's appointments in their home with their own physicians. Other than the physical abnormalities, she was a normal, happy, and mostly healthy baby girl.
In spite of all that, she still had that fateful birthday. At her fifth birthday party, it happened. As they were watching her blow out the candles a knock on the door caused both parents to tense up. They knew it was coming, but they weren't ready. In came the military man who saved their lives five years earlier. It was time. From that moment on any normalcy she had was gone, and any happiness she had would dwindle. Her life was about to change.
She was taken to a facility where they were housing humans with powers, abilities, and mutations. They wanted to make the perfect weapon of mass destruction, "to use against our enemies." They acted as if this was what all the countries were doing. She quickly discovered this wasn't a camp or vacation. She was taken to a small cell, each and every day they would take blood and she would have to watch as they tested it. Sometimes on materials, but most of the time it was on people. They would pour it onto the skin of other kids, apparently metahumans but to Zinnia, they were just kids like her, and record how well it burned. They would inject it, to see the results. She would be forced to watch as her blood quickly and skillfully began to harm them from the inside out. A large quantity would cause them to die within minutes. They would inject it into specific tissues, eyes and see how quickly it would blind the victim, legs to see if they could incapacitate someone. It was terrible, she hated it.
However, one day something else happened. An injection caused a different reaction in a child. A child that had come in with her. A reaction no one had expected and now everyone wanted. A power boost. No death, no burns, but a heightened power ability. The government had gotten a result they could use. Though perhaps not in the way they had expected. After the injection had been done the restrained child's reaction to it became apparent in a way no one was quite ready for. There was so much blood, that's what Zinnia really remembers. She remembers seeing the scientist's head explode, she remembers watching all the blood. Perhaps the worst part was the smiles from the other scientists. They had wanted a reaction like this, they had wanted death and destruction. To the government, this was the start of new possibilities and for the two children, it was the start of a new life and beautiful friendship. Bella Donna and Wolfsbane began a friendship out of necessity, the scientists kept them near each other for tests and examinations. However, out of necessity grew a true friendship and unrivaled loyalty. It was out of this necessity a plan was hatched.
No longer would Bella Donna be used to murder innocent metahumans, and no longer would Wolfsbane be forced to endure these experiments. A plan was hatched by the two, Bella Donna snuck away IV bags, and syringes whenever she could, between experiments she would use whatever spare blood she had to stockpile ammunition. They were getting out of here, and it was going to work. Once their plan was set and their ammunition full, and Bella Donna had time to recover from her lack of blood. They went to work. The plan was simple, escape alive. Stop anyone that tried to stop them. Between Wolfsbane's powers, the boost from the blood and the makeshift blood launcher Bella Donna had made from the IV equipment they made easy work of the lesser guarded floors.
In spite of their early success though, they were cornered. After slipping into the specimen freezer to grab more samples of her blood, the two had recognized a somewhat familiar door. This door lead to a storage closet, nothing overly special about that, except that it held their only personal belongings. A music box for Max and a picture for Zinnia. A decision to grab their only personal effects proved to be a terrible decision. Detrimental really. All Zinnia had wanted was the picture of her parents and her that she was handed with shaky hands the day the government had taken her. That was too much to ask apparently, as the two teens stared down at their captors their backs against a wall. With nowhere to go and no other options, they took drastic measures. With all the blood they had left they made one last ditch effort and injected Wolfsbane with a dose at least triple what he was used to. This would do one of two things, boost his powers enough to save them -- or kill him. They had no other options.
The next thing Bella Donna knew she felt like her body was being torn apart. It wasn't just that she was being torn apart, it was that she could feel it -- she could feel everything. It started like a tinge, a pressure. A hug that was too tight and lasted too long, but it quickly grew. Suddenly every inch of her being felt like it was itching. Not a normal itch, no this felt wrong -- intensely so. This sensation was blocking out every other instinct of hers. She couldn't hear or think. It was wrong, and bad, she hated it. The itch you can't scratch multiplied by millions, billions of neurons that hadn't worked before -- suddenly all firing at once telling her that something was wrong. She wanted to scream out, to ask why this was wrong, but she couldn’t she could only sit and exist with this sensation…this wrong feeling. Then suddenly, silence...
She opened her eyes to find herself outside. The sensation is gone, her body back to normal -- her's again. Before she had time to relish that suddenly more weight landed in her arms and her heart skipped a beat. She looked down to see Maxwell unconscious in her arms. This wasn't good. She looked around and realized that she was alone with him, in a field. A large abandoned warehouse sat directly to the North of them and it was her only option. She didn't know if they could track them, but she needed to be out of sight.
With her best effort and a little bit of time, she carried her friend into the warehouse and that was where they would stay, until they were able to find something better -- if they could find something better. Even this was better than the facility though, at least here they were safe, for now.
It took a few hours, but finally, Maxwell awoke. Zinnia believed this to be the start of their good luck, in a way she was right. Apparently, the blink had set off some sort of electromagnetic impulse? She didn't truly understand it, but it did make a large enough wave to be noticed. If that was the case who knew who would find them? The Government Agency could possibly even find them? With the threat of immediate capture already behind them they decided to stay for a little while here in this warehouse. Time got away from them a little and they spent several months in this abandoned warehouse, before deciding that moving into Jump would be a better option. They needed a better place to live, they needed a better life. They apparently had gotten away from the Government Agency that had held them captives for so many years, but that could always change who knew how well they knew to track them. Zinnia just hoped this was going to be the start of a better life, not just better, a good life.
Other:
FUN FACT The tropane alkaloids of A. belladonna were used as poisons, and early humans made poisonous arrows from the plant.
FUN FACT Zinnia is an artist and wants to become a tattoo artist, she does graffiti and plans to sell artwork when she can.
FUN FACT Due to the sudden and intense blink while in close proximity to each other Maxel and Zannia have slightly connected atoms. This means they have a deep connection which allows for them to feel each other's emotions when stressed and Maxwell can blink to Zannia no matter where she is.
FUN FACT When living with her parents her mother attempted to teach her simple sewing stitches, they didn't stick but she can sew a hole shut most times.

Spoiler: George Fell[center]
Casual Appearance: Maxwell normally wears jeans with t-sheets, he is known to have a wide collection of ball caps he collects new ones from each place he visits. He claims that the hats help him rekindle memories of the places he has been.
Super Appearance:
He wears a lightly armored vest to protect against bullet fire and small weapons. Over that he has a tight trench coat which helps hide his weapon and to allow him to use it as a distraction if needed.
Personality: Max had a tendency to be hard headed especially if he believes that what he is doing is the only way. He hides behind his trauma by acting numb to his emotions and tend to think logically when in the face of challenge.
History: Maxwell was born to a metahuman father and normal mother. Maxwell’s childhood was mostly normal he lived in a quiet suburb in an even smaller city. However, Max’s parents were quite aware that he was like his father a metahuman. Disappearing and reappearing a few feet apart almost as easy as he walked. On his fifth birthday, The Agency came to his home and talked with his father and in exchange for his father identity from being revealed they took the young Maxwell. The Agency conducted strange experiments on Maxwell from taking samples of him and forcing him to use his powers.
One day, Maxwell was taken to a room strapped to a chair and across the way… eye-to-eye, he saw her… The young girl who would change his life. The chair, oh god the chair, it had the ability to prevent Max from blinking away. The scientist took a needle to the girl extracted her blood placing it in vials. The blood was injected into Maxwell causing he pain like nothing he ever felt before. Shortly there a power outage occurred and from the chair, the young Maxwell, now supercharged, blinked onto the shoulders of one of the scientist. His small hand on his forehead of the scientist in that instant Maxwell's flight response kicked in. Maxwell had not indented for that outcome. However, this was exactly what the Agency was looking for a living weapon. Zinnia and Maxwell soon became the best of friends and was forced to “work together” which was code for cruel experimentation.
They hatched a plan to escape while Zinnia collected her blood and stashed away syringes and other tools required for escape. Maxwell studied the guard patrols and started to form an escape plan. Their plan was perfect aside from the fact that they were cornered. They made the dumb decision to collect personal effects. In Maxwell’s case, he collected a music box, which his mother had given him the day he was born. In a last-ditch effort With all the blood they had left they made one last ditch effort and injected Wolfsbane with a dose at least triple what he was used to. This would do one of two things, boost his powers enough to save them -- or kill him. They had no other options.
In that instant, Maxwell concentrated all his might to teleport away somewhere safe. He saw everywhere and everything … he was in Paris and then the next instant he was in Berlin. When the images finally stopped, he was in a field with a barn a few meters away. He looked into Zinnia eyes and collapsed into her.
After a few months, the duo decided to move into jump proper to find a better life.

Spoiler: Characters by Lady CelesteSpoiler: MarianaName: Mariana Nocetti
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Red Widow
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: None officially yet.
Powers/weapons: Mariana can transform herself, partially or completely, into a large red widow spider or into a multitude of red widow spiders; the former includes being able to sprout four spider limbs from her back and/or turn one or more of her human limbs into spider limbs, while the latter includes being able to summon spiders at will. She can also climb on walls/ceilings with ease, can generate a spider-like silk, and has a venomous bite.
Face Claim: Kelly Vitz (with pale white skin and blood-red eyes when not disguised)
Voice Claim: Tara Jayne
Casual Appearance: Mariana uses dark brown color contacts and a spray tan when out in public to make herself look more normal. Other than that, however, she is quite fond of experimenting with different fashions, most of which she never really got to try, so her tastes in clothes on any given day may vary.
Super Appearance: Mariana's "superhero" outfit is a slightly modified version of her most recent workout uniform, consisting of a sleeveless black suit with a red triangle in the front, as well as black boots and fingerless gloves.
Spoiler: Super Outfit
Personality: Mariana is very shy and slow to trust, owing largely to her being practically hidden from the world for most of her life. Those who do manage to befriend her, however, will have earned a loyal lifelong friend willing to do virtually anything for them.
History: Mariana's story begins with her parents, both wealthy land developers from Argentina, and the perfect plot of land they had selected for one of their projects. Said plot of land included a forest that was home to a nature spirit known by the locals as Hashi, who managed to scare away the more superstitious of the Nocetti couple's employees, but Mr. and Mrs. Nocetti persisted and ultimately cleared the entire forest. Enraged, Hashi appeared in the couple's bedroom at night in the form of a swarm of red widow spiders, which bit each of them once, but the bites strangely had no visible effect on either of them. The spiders then vanished, but not before Hashi pronounced the curse that would haunt the Nocetti family from that moment on:
"¡La viuda roja revelará tu vergüenza y morará en tu sangre para siempre!"
"The red widow shall reveal your shame and dwell in your blood forever!"
Hashi's curse had no visible effect at first, so the Nocetti couple initially dismissed the whole ordeal as too much wine earlier in the day. But when their first daughter - Mariana's older sister - was born, the infant's deathly pale skin and blood red eyes were impossible to ignore, and the identical pigmentation on Mariana herself proved that it was no mere fluke. Then the sisters' powers began to emerge as they grew up, and it was at that point that their parents realized the true effects of Hashi's curse. Fearing that the locals would turn against them if word got out, Mr. and Mrs. Nocetti went to great lengths to prevent the true nature of the sisters' "condition" from ever becoming public knowledge, isolating them completely and telling anyone who asked that they were both severely allergic to sunlight.
The girls lived relatively happy in spite of the isolation, spending their days competing against each other in a variety of games, sports, and exercises, until eventually their parents could no longer bear to keep them effectively locked up for their entire lives. And so Mariana and her sister were discreetly sent to America to start new lives, under the pretense of a new experimental treatment being discovered for their "condition"; Mariana settled in Jump City to live a quiet life (and possibly one day catch the attention of the Titans, being a big superhero fan), while her sister chose instead to travel and see the world until she decides what to do with her life.

Spoiler: Shay/SeedlingName: Shaylee "Shay" Sweetgrass (Human Alias: Shay Curran)
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Seedling
(Needless to say, there have already been quite a few online comments about such an unimpressive hero codename...)
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties (if applicable): Titans
Powers/Weapons: Like all fey, Shay is very closely attuned to the natural world, which in her case manifests as an ability to communicate with animals and what could be considered plant manipulation (though she insists that the latter is not her "controlling" the plants like a master might control a slave, but rather that the plants like it when she helps them grow and will in turn happily do favors for her when asked). However, this close sensitivity to nature can also extend to such degrees that she tends to weaken rapidly in the presence of pollution and other forms of environmental deterioration. Shay is also somewhat well-versed in the basics of fey magic as well as the natural and magical properties of various plants and herbs.
Face Claim: If I had to pick, I would say a teen Camilla Belle.
Spoiler: picture
Voice Claim: Luci Christian (with a slight Irish accent)
Spoiler: Casual AppearanceFey Form
Human Disguise
Super Appearance:Essentially the same as her fey form (see "Casual Appearance" spoiler box)
Personality: Shay is very eccentric by human standards and can often come across as ditzy or naive, though at heart she is very kind and caring toward those she trusts. However, as with all fey folk, Shay's definition of acceptable behavior is very different from that of a typical human; some things that a human might see as perfectly acceptable are gravely offensive to a fey, and vice versa. Consequently, from a human perspective, Shay can come across as an oversensitive crybaby in some situations and as an uncaring jerk in others.
History: A nature fairy hailing originally from the forests of Ireland, Shay has lived in relative peace among the fey throughout her entire life. Every now and then a human might stumble into the woods where she lives, but these interactions tended to amount to little more than the occasional mischief, as most fey tended to find humans amusing.
However, unbeknownst to Shay until recently, human/fey relations have been growing more and more strained over the last few centuries, especially in the modern age, during which time human development has spread further and further into lands where the fey once resided. Consequently, as more and more fey were left homeless and their situation grew more dire, the fey had more recently decided that their only hope of survival was to eliminate human society altogether, with only a few humans to be kept alive as slave labor to restore the forests. Plans were soon being made to this effect, and these plans might have been carried out by now if not for the intervention of the mysterious sorceress Raven.
The reputation of the lady Raven preceded her: a hero among humans and a former Teen Titan. But such things meant little to the fey folk; if anything, as a known protector of humans, she would be considered an enemy. As such, her arrival was met with the usual hostilities at first, but Raven's respectful appeals to the Fey Elders to spare the humans was enough to convince them to give humanity a chance, but only one. To this end, they agreed to have Raven bring a disguised fey volunteer to the human lands for one year; if, by the end of the year, Raven could successfully convince the volunteer that the human race can peacefully coexist with the fey folk and with nature in general, the Elders would agree to spare humanity.
Shay, being innocently curious about the human lands, volunteered to go with Raven as per the agreement. Despite Shay still being quite young, the Elders assented, feeling that Shay's youth and relative inexperience with human society would make her less initially biased against humans and thus more likely to show mercy if it was truly deserved. Since then, Shay has accompanied Raven as a protégée of sorts, traveling the world and occasionally joining Raven on any heroic endeavors they may come across.

Spoiler: Characters by DCSpoiler: JerichoName: Joseph William Wilson
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: J; Joey; Joe; Jojo; Jeri| Jericho
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Solo; Honorary Titan
Powers/Abilities: When eye contact is made, Jericho is able to enter another's body and control their motor functions (except their speech). If the person is unconscious when Jericho enters, he can also speak through them, but retains any speech patterns the person may have (such as an impediment, lisp or accent). Eye contact is not required if the possessee is unconscious.
Due to the aging of his abilities, along with the secrets that his kidnappers unlocked within him, Jericho's abilities have evolved partially. The time with which he needs for eye contact has drastically shortened, able to possess through peripheral eye contact, and he is even able to pull his physical body through the astral plane. As for bringing others, it is currently unknown if he is able to do so.
While Jericho prefers solving things through nonviolent means, he is an exceptional hand to hand fighter, having been trained by his mother, Adeline Kane. Though, he has advanced even further after his disappearance. A good deal of the skill and knowledge that he possesses is actually unknown to even him at times. He is also an accomplished stealth agent.
Jericho communicates with sign language when not possessing someone or when his victim is conscious. If Jericho can use his victim's voice, he will speak with the possessed's speech patterns. Sometimes, when Jericho is entering many different foes in the heat of battle, he will make the "J', sign to let his friends know who he is currently possessing if his glowing emerald eyes aren't sign enough.
Depending on certain bird calls, Jericho's mind will take on varying effects due to unjust conditioning in him.
Casual Appearance: His outfits, as pictured, tend to be casual in style with varying jeans, jackets and button-up shirts.
Super Appearance: None Currently
Personality: Kind, Distant, Dextrous, Contemplative, Clever
History: Joseph Wilson is the son of Slade Wilson and Adeline Kane Wilson. Joseph's parents met while in service to the United States Army, where Adeline had been Slade's instructor in Guerilla warfare. Sparks ignited immediately between the two, and they quickly fell in love and wed.
As Slade was called into service, Adeline gave birth to a son, Grant. Slade continued on active duty, and volunteered for a medical experiment in resisting truth serums. The experiment had an unforeseen side effect: it gave Slade enhanced strength and heightened reflexes. Shortly after this, Adeline gave birth to a second son, Joseph William Wilson.
Unlike his older brother who seemed rather obsessed with following in his father's footsteps, Little Joseph was much different. Despite their heavy military background, the boy didn't show much interest in that or hunting, as his father tried to get him into. Instead, his heart was with artistry, both traditional and musical.
Though, any chance he had at a singing career was cut down when he was kidnapped by some assassin named the Jackal. The, then ten-year-old, boy had managed to pick up from conversations between the men that his father was more than what met the eye. They talked about how his father had killed someone for money. At first, Joseph didn't want to believe it. Not his dad, it couldn't have been him.
All of these thoughts changed, however, when he finally saw his mother next to some strangely dressed man with guns and swords. The man sounded like his father, looked like him; it was his dad. Seeing his father like that-- with weapons, with the mask, it forever shaped his view of his father.
In the end, they managed to get out alive, but Joseph would never be able to speak again. After that, they cut ties with Slade completely. Though handicapped, he still grew into a talented musician and artist.
In his early teens, the prime of puberty, was when his powers first manifested. When Joseph was young, his powers unexpectedly manifested when his young friend was in danger. To save the boy's life, Joseph possessed his body when they locked eyes. Unknown to his parents, Joseph's DNA had been altered due to the biological experimentation that was done to his father. He was gifted with the power to possess others through eye contact. Initially traumatized by the experience, Joseph's powers would lay dormant until his late teens.
Sometime after her divorce from Slade, Joseph's mother established her own organization, Searchers, Inc. As he grew older, Joseph worked closely with his mother, apparently receiving combat training and tactical fighting maneuvers from her. Searchers, Inc. provided espionage services for a number of clients.
As a young adult in the organization, Joseph and his mother had caught wind of the Terminator's sights being on the Teen Titans. So, to counter him and save them, the two of them offered their services. To that end, Joseph, now codenamed Jericho, has been working as an honorary Titan. For many years he operated with the Teen Titans, forging friendships and proving to be a valuable member of the team. His musical career flourished; everything seemed to be looking up in his life.
That is, until he simply vanished from the face of the earth...
Just recently, about a month ago, he woke up one morning in New York City. Joseph finally managed to make his way back to Jump City with one question on his mind: Where did I go?

History: Victor Stone is the son of Silas and Elinore Stone, two STAR Labs scientists intent on using their research to improve mankind. Silas and Elinore scientific adventures often estranged their son, as they would sometime dedicate more time and toward their work, oppose to him. The two even used their son as a test subject for intelligence-boosting experimentation. While the successful experiment granted Victor a genius-level intellect, he resented his parents for treating him more like a lab subject opposed to a son.
Vic's resentment caused him to steer away from science and math in high school. Instead, he pursued an interest in athletics, much to his father's disdain. His life changed profoundly during a visit to STAR Labs to meet up with his parents, who were busy conducting inter-dimensional experiments. The experiment accidentally allowed a protoplasmic creature into the lab. Silas managed to return the creature to its home dimension, but not before it had murdered his mother and severely injured Victor.
Desperate to save his son's life, Silas used untested cybernetic enhancements to rebuild and reconstruct Victor's body. He succeeded, but didn't anticipate Victor's horror and anger at what he had done.
Since these mechanical parts were not inconspicuous, he was shunned by his home environment and his friends, which frustrated him greatly. It made him an outcast.
One night, Cyborg took to the streets wearing a hoodie to cover his cybernetic parts, where he ran into the new arrivals Robin and Beast Boy fighting a rather violent alien girl, who was actually a fugitive from a prisoner transport. Soon joined by the mystery girl Raven, the youngsters teamed up to defeat the girl's alien captorsand formed a permanent team to combat villainy.
Cyborg constructed the Titans Tower and its systems from a Gordanian landing ship, and the team moved into its new headquarters. From that point on, Cyborg served as the team's chief technician, constructing their primary vehicles such as the T-Car and T-Ship.
Victor served that position for many years for the team, forming bonds that would last a lifetime. Though, that eventually brought him to being noticed by the Justice League for his technical prowess. At first he was helping them under the radar with super computer security and few to none could hack League systems with Cyborg at the mainframes. Though, his status would forever change the day that Darkseid invaded earth.
During the course of that battle, he had to get up to the front lines. The battle was grueling but, he had managed to get his hands on a Motherbox that was being used to transport them. With that powerful tool at his disposal, Vic, with the last standing members of the League, managed to push Darkseid back to Apokalips with Cyborg's use of the Boomtubes to their advantage.
For being able to keep his cool and showing valor in the heat of battle, Cyborg was offered a formal invitation to the Justice League of America. With the situation in Jump becoming what it was, Cyborg decided that maybe a change would be in order. Thus, he was the first to leave the Teen Titans.
He's been with the League ever since.

Static Cling: Static can adhere most objects or people to surfaces and other objects, plus Static can magnetize surfaces.
Black Lightning: Static has learned, after taking some time with Black Lightning, to generate and control black lightning (mystical dark electricity), which ignores the limitations and weaknesses of normal lightning. While it can be a bit of a strain for him, he can wield it like normal electricity, and also use its mystical power for wide variety of attacks and effects. With this power, he must be very careful as if he loses control it can be very destructive. It has a much higher pitched shriek in opposed to Lightning’s thunderous roar.
Speed: By charging his body with electricity, Virgil is capable of lightning-speed reflexes and reactions in short bursts.

History: Virgil Ovid Hawkins was born to Jean and Robert Hawkins in Dakota City, named after his Grandfather. Though their living situation was a little less than ideal, they still managed to get by fairly well off. That is, until that fateful day. He was nine years old that day. It rough in Paris Island. Gang violence ran about as rampant as toddlers in a daycare center. A riot had happened in the streets that day. There were many victims. Cops had to break it up. His mother was a medic. Not a doctor, but she worked with the ER and Nurses. She said that she was bring a surprise home for Virgil that day...
He didn't expect for the surprise to be her corpse. She was hit by a stray bullet amidst the shooting between Police and Gang Members. She had died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital as she simply lost too much blood by then.
It hit their family of, now three, pretty hard. So much pain circulated when Virgil's little sister Sharon, only three at the time, called for Mama, but there was no answer for her. Their dad thought about the things that would cause something like this. So, to make an impact in their own way for kids like them, Robert founded the Freeman Community Center.
The operation was a success, and the next thing they knew, Virgil's family moved out of their old home in Paris Island and instead moved to the middle class area of Dakota, named Sadler. There wasn't as much violence there in comparison. It was calm enough, Virgil went to school and did his best to help his father out with the community center. It was there that he met his best friend, Ricky Stone.
Things for Hawkins seemed to look up there. He worked hard in school, via encouragement from his father, and was known to be an honor roll student. Though, that wasn't to say that the problems of his life were over. During his freshman year of high school, Virgil was bullied by Francis Stone.
Virgil was frequently the victim of threats and beatings by Francis and his gang until a classmate intervened. However, this intervention came with a price: Virgil was to join his gang. While Virgil never gave any official answer, the offer didn't imply an alternative was given. As a result, Virgil became involved in the gang wars of Dakota. The gang wars escalated, culminating in a showdown at the Dakota docks. Though Virgil was no imposing figure, his presence was necessary at the event.
Even after being given a gun and a chance, Virgil refused to kill his bully. It went against what he believed in and as such, he instead threw the firearm in the river. As fists flew in numerous directions, police lights shone overhead. While the gang boys fled in various directions, stray shots collided with strange canisters of Quantum Vapor in the area, which detonated and enveloped the area. Virgil escaped seemingly unscathed, a claim few others at the event could make.
Several days passed and Virgil learned that he wasn't as unscathed by the event as he thought. e may have appeared fine, but Virgil's body had undergone a massive change. The gas from the "Big Bang", as people now calked it, had charged Virgil's body with electricity. Virgil then too learned that he could control this electrical power that he now had. After this discovery, he began to hone his powers by playing with them; learning new things with his other close friend, Frieda Goren. Though, the way she found out was more so of an accidental use of his powers.
Frieda recognized the seriousness of Virgil gaining these abilities and agreed that he needed to be careful in how he used them. With his best friend's help and advise, the two agreed Virgil had to use his powers to protect people but secretly to keep their families safe from the dangers that a superhero could face. Just like Black Lightning and Icon before him. Thus, they created a costumed persona, and Static was born.
While that was all well and good, they came to find out that Virgil wasn't the only Mutant Baby from the Big Bang. It later turned out that, of all people, Francis Stone came back as the villainous Hotstreak. From there, all sorts of villains showed up and Static was tasked with the challenge of having to thwart them for the people of Dakota. There were some times that he even got to team up with other heroes, like Batman and even Black Lightning himself.
However, the life of a super hero wasn't easy. Sleep, school, the Community Center, girls, comics, and a little sister that wouldn't shut up, on top of the hero thing was a lot of work. Sometimes that worked out good, like when Dad said that he seemed more responsible as a person, or all the ladies wanting to meet Static. Other times, not so much, like the one time he bombed a math test that he normally would've aced if he hadn't fell asleep on the test day.
As if there wasn't already a lot of drama, Rick later came out as homosexual. At first, even Virgil was unable to deal with Rick's homosexuality, but later comes to deal with his homophobia to save Rick and a bunch of other homosexuals from a gay bashing being orchestrated by Hotstreak and his cohorts.
Overall, Virgil's high school life in Dakota was exciting and daring. Though, time moved on, and after Virgil's senior year, he found that it was time to grow up and get a job. Hero work, while fun, wasn't free but it didn't pay either. Plus, some close calls with his family and supervillains convinced Virgil that it might have been time to let go of the Static persona.
Early last year, it was clear that the city missed its hero but Virgil was convinced that maybe this was for the best to give normal life a try. Not to say he completely left them hanging but only worked in secrecy and in the most dire situations.
His father originally wanted him to go to a Community College to stay close to home but...with the stagnant nature of things between Virgil and his father's new girlfriend, Virgil decided to take an opportunity to go to a college out in Jump City, San Francisco. It was funded by S.T.A.R. Labs, and with a fancy name like that, his father was all for it. With Rick in tow, Virgil moved out of Iowa to the West coast.
Recently, though, crime rates began to increase in Jump City. It seemed to get more and more dangerous with each passing week. The question lingers, should an old face resurface here to help these people here.
Other: Note that I am drawing a lot from Static's TV show/Comic Origin, but this is still my interpretation of his character, thus, I'll treat it like I was given his character to write.

Spoiler: Matthew Lawrence
Voice Claim: Scott Menville
Casual Appearance: Dick's civilian clothes are nothing special, as he dresses more to blend in than anything. He wears an assortment of graphic t-shirts, jeans, and tennis shoes in pleasant weather and maybe a light jacket or hoodie if it is chilly out. If the need arises, as the son of Bruce Wayne he does have the means to look more professional by breaking out a suit and tie.
Super Appearance:
Spoiler: Costume
Personality: Time has made Dick more serious in nature, but he is still far less brooding than the Bat- even so far as to still be rather outgoing among those he trusts. He is terrible at keeping in touch. Although he has quietly kept tabs on his former teammates since they all went their separate ways, he rarely crosses paths with them and only if he needs help professionally. He isn't much of a romantic, as he is still not over Starfire nor his brief fling with Barbara Gordon. He spends most of his time isolating himself in his work and mentoring the new Robin(s).
History: After the Teen Titans slowly drifted apart, Dick returned to Gotham City under Batman's orders expecting to be treated more as a partner than a sidekick. It was immediately clear that wouldn't be the case and the relationship between Dick and Bruce suffered as a result. Barbara Gordon, who had taken the guise of Batgirl while he was away, was there for him. She helped him preserve a fractured relationship with Bruce and earned his trust and friendship. Just as importantly, she was there for him as he dealt with missing his team...and losing Starfire. Barbara became his confidant, and in time, their relationship evolved into something more complicated than just friendship.
It wasn't long after Dick's eighteenth birthday that everything went to Hell. An already thin as ice relationship between Batman and Robin was, at last, totally severed when Robin found out through miscommunication at the JLA that Batman had not only been closely monitoring the Teen Titans, even in the privacy of their own Tower, and that the Bat had even gone so far as to have some of the members of the League, himself included, quietly intervene during some of their most critical but successful missions. All the while he lied to the League so that they thought Robin had actually cleared it and had requested their help himself. That breach of trust followed by condescension and a stubborn unapologetic attitude from Bruce when confronted was the final straw. Dick took his share of the inheritance and moved to Bludhaven where he became Nightwing. When Barbara tried to stop him, he blew up and ultimately made her choose between him or Batman's crusade. As if the coffin needed any more nails, the entire Bat Family was rocked by the Jason Todd incident. As awful as this incident was, it did at least have one positive effect. Barbara and Dick reconciled setting in motion a better future for the Bat Family.
The new Robin, Tim Drake, idolized Dick and tried to copy him in every way. This didn't sit well with Bruce, who was worried that Tim would try something recklessly out of his league to ultimately get himself killed. Beyond that, Bruce was having a hard time relating to the boy. Under Alfred's advice and Barbara's constant pressure, he finally gave in and reached out to Dick in hopes that the old Robin could mentor the new Robin. Dick, again under Barbara's constant pressure, agreed. That decision changed the dynamic of the Bat Family forever. Tim and Dick formed an instant connection, and immediately Dick became a big brother for Tim. As he took more and more time away from Bludhaven to be there for Tim, he spent more time around Bruce. Dick and Bruce eventually and very gradually rehabilitated their relationship for Tim's sake. Nightwing even came to help out in Gotham from time to time.
All this time, Dick has never once forgotten the team. He still keeps the communicators active, just in case. He has kept a watchful eye on each member of the original team, following them closely over the years. He has reserved his strictest supervision for Terra, the honorary Titan, ever since Beast Boy told the team of her sudden revival. Though her memories seem lost and her powers gone, Dick still fears that someday the latter could reemerge without the former...and that Slade could come for her. After the clattering of stones in the last bar fight she broke up, Dick has become concerned enough to travel to Jump City strictly for observation purposes.

Spoiler: Cruxos
Name: Cruxos
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Crux
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Alignment: Hero
Loyalties: Solo for now, but Titans very soon
Spoiler: Powers/weapons:
Demi-godhood: As a demigod, Cruxos possesses strength equal to that of Greek heroes of legend. While not quite at a level high enough to be considered super strength like fully fledged gods, he is certainly stronger than the average mortal. His agility is equally enhanced.
Olympic Combat: Raised on Mt. Olympus, Cruxos has trained in physical combat from infancy under his mother Athena, the Goddess of War and Wisdom. As such, he is blessed by the gods to be a champion in hand-to-hand combat.
Divine Wisdom: As the son of Athena, Cruxos has inherited a rather sizable portion of her wisdom. Athena hopes he will use this gift to aid humanity.
Strategy: Athena is known as the Goddess of War and of tactics. Her son has learned under her and has been groomed during his training to be a tactician his mother can be proud of.
Mortal Reading: A rare gift from his adoptive father, Hades, Cruxos possesses the ability to read a mortal creature's entire history as well as their possible futures. The future is ever-changing, so it is extremely difficult for the boy. The past is a different matter. He can read all mortal creatures, from insects to humans, as if they are books.
Olympic Spear: His single weapon is the gift that Zeus bestowed upon his favored daughter and by proxy, his favored grandson. The Olympic Spear was struck with Zeus's lightning, giving the weapon great power. Only an Olympian may wield it, and no mortal can break it.
Shield of Achilles: The famed shield of Achilles has been recovered and blessed by the gods, given to Cruxos on his sixteenth birthday. The shield acts as a protection against most mortal weapons. It is powerful enough to withstand a blast from an rpg and has been tested against some of the lower Olympians finest spells. It has yet to see true combat beyond sparring though.
Linguistics: Cruxos has had sixteen years of studying mortal tongues. As such, he is fluent in all major tongues and most minor tongues surrounding the expanse that was once the Greek Empire
Face Claim: Corey Fogelmanis
Voice Claim: Johnny Yong Bosch's Ichigo voice
Casual Appearance: Cruxos doesn't have any civilian clothes yet, as he will be arriving in his battle attire. When he does acquire casual clothing, he will have a fondness for t-shirts and sweatpants.
Super Appearance: Armor of the gods- Crux's armor was forged from the godsmith himself, and as such this armor is extremely durable and protects against most weapons.
Spoiler: Armour of the Gods
(Crux has a spear instead of the short sword)
Personality: Cruxos inherited the best features of his mother, a tactical mind that is analytical in nature and a wisdom that is slow to form judgment but resolute once it has. He is able to offer sound advice clear of bias or prejudice as well as merciful compassion to those he cares for. He is shy if not a bit standoffish among strangers, but is far more lighthearted around those he is comfortable with.
Cruxos is a proudly fierce warrior who takes pleasure in a good fight. His attitude during battle is very different than his personality outside of it. He is wrathful and unforgiving, brutal when dishing out judgments of the gods. He has a tendency to rush headfirst into danger whether he has support or not. He believes it to be his duty as an Olympian. As reckless as this is, he doesn't yet see the danger. After all, how could a mortal hurt a demigod?
History: Cruxos was born a virgin birth to the Goddess Athena and endowed with the abilities of the God Hades who was so enamored with his niece's offspring that he blessed the babe immediately upon birth. While Cruxos's arrival was not well received with most Olympians, Zeus blessed the offspring of Athena and forced the disgruntled critics into line. From the child's infancy, Zeus and Athena saw potential for heroic greatness and blessed him exponentially. Cruxos was given the best training, grueling for even the greatest of the ancient Greek champions, and yet the boy passed every test. He was sat at his mother's feet for days on end as she imparted her vast wisdom upon him. Athena taught the boy the tactics of war, the ways of the many cultures of mortals, and eventually led him to her grand library to study all the knowledge she had gained over the many millennia of her existence. The god Hades took the boy to the Underworld and taught him lessons of mortality, the importance of harmony and balance, the necessity of death and of altruism, and the value of strong and steady leadership.
Over time, some of the major gods came around to value the boy. His great-uncle Poseidon taught the boy to swim and gave him lessons of the sea, his great-aunt Demeter taught him to farm, his half-aunt Artemis taught him to hunt and survive in the wilderness, and his half-uncle Apollo imparted knowledge of music. Ares, his half-uncle, has hated Cruxos from birth. He would have killed the boy long ago if not for being so in the minority, for even he knew better than to cross Zeus alone. He grows restless waiting for the time when he can finally enact his wrath upon the demigod.
Cruxos is currently only a demigod. This limits him from being completely immortal until he transcends to full godhood, which must be done before his eighteenth birthday. Upon his sixteenth birthday, which has just past, he must depart Mt. Olympus and live among the mortals and prove himself on the pilgrimage by doing something truly worthy of the gods. He must do this without any intervention from the gods above, using all that he has learned. The sixteen-year-old has decided to live in the mortal realm as a champion of the people and a hero. Fittingly, he has decided to join like-minded Greeks, the Teen Titans.

Personality: Starfire is sweet and cheerful, though somewhat naive when it comes to the customs and traditions of Earth. Her experiences within the past decade have somewhat cured her of the insecurities she had in her youth. Since her coming-of-age ceremony and returning home to Tamaran, she has embraced the fierceness that is characteristic of her people and it remains in her everyday approach to many things. Starfire, as always, is loyal to a fault and fiercely protective of those she cares about. Feelings are the fuel behind her powers and she either needs to stay positive or angry in order to keep them going.
History: Ten years ago, it was time for Koriand'r's coming-of-age ceremony back with her own people. Leaving Earth to return to Tamaran was one of the hardest decisions she ever made, but she knew it had to be done. Starfire was placed in an induced coma which caused her to forget many of her adventures and relationships on Earth, most of which returned to her over the next year or so once she emerged as a full-fledged Tamaranean. Since, she has married Prince Karras in order to ensure peace and unity between the Southern States of Tamaran and Tamaras. It's a loveless marriage and Starfire doesn't exactly attempt to change that, as she feels as though she has experienced love and Karras will not be able to provide her with anything like what she once felt for Robin. Nonetheless, Karras and Koriand'r remain amicable. While her Guardian still technically rules Tamaran, she has been aiding as a council member and crown-princess for the past eight years, diffusing another potential civil war and Gordanian attack. She hasn't returned to Earth since, not wanting to return since things wouldn't be the same with the team, but using her new position of aurthority and busy schedule as an excuse as to why she can't go back.

Spoiler: BaName: Ba’bajide
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Xibalba/Ba
Age: 84 years in Xibalba, which is equivalent to being a 19 year-old on Earth.
Gender: Male
Alignment: Lawful Neutral (At least, that’s what he’s attempting to be. A for effort.)
Loyalties: First and foremost, Xibalba. Second, to himself. Third, the Titans.
Powers/Weapons: As a god of the Mayan Underworld, his abilities are those of fear, death, and pestilence. Though his current form limits the extent of his powers, his ancient incantations are still considered strong enough to compete with the demons of this world. He can still partially Shift into a version of his true self, which gives a momentary appearance of a giant reptilian jaguar, though this takes a lot of exertion and cannot be sustained in his mortal form. Mentally, he can still get into people's minds, sensing their fears and failures, though he can't manipulate their reality quite like he can when he is unbound. He always carries a large obsidian blade with sapphire looking stones on the hilt. When it tastes blood, these gems will glow turquoise. The mythology of the weapon states that the souls cleaved with the obsidian knife are sacrificed to Xibalba, which means Ba can harness their power. However, in order to unlock more strength, he has to physically interrupt (cut through) the rune tattoos that bind him with this weapon, which is one of the only tools he can't heal from. This is not advisable as his body can not remain stable without the runes.
In short:
Obsidian Stabby-Stab that will take your soul
Eats people
Is what goes bump in the night
Face Claim: Unknown
Spoiler: Picture
Voice Claim: Miguel Ángel Silvestre
Casual Appearance: Bronze skin and espresso hair, Ba'bajide has a scruff of facial hair that's usually kept quite short. His eyes are black, with no differentiation between his pupils and irises. This is a glamour effect, as when he's weak, they revert to a bright turquoise- the same color as the magic that runs through his veins.
90% of the time, Ba dresses himself in long-sleeve shirts and jeans, often times throwing in a turtleneck or hoodie for maximum coverage. Black is his go-to, but he's acquired a few annoyingly bright and eccentric pieces that he cycles through. Magenta fuzzy sweater? Check.
The reason behind Ba's near-constant coverage is due to his entire body being covered in tattoos. These ancient Mayan runes and idols bind him to a mortal form and keep his powers in check. They are often visible on his hands, neck, and feet.
He prefers not to wear shoes unless he has to, keeps his hair tied up most of the time, and has turquoise stone gagues in both ears- a parting gift from his mother. The only other jewely he has is a small hoop in his cartlidge.
Super Appearance: When Ba consciously activates his powers, a streak of black appears across his eyes, forming a black mask-like outbreak of iridescent black scales. The entirety of his eyes turn black, save for glowing turquoise irises accented by slitted pupils. He develops long claws at the ends of his fingers and toes, which also appear as though they've been dipped in ink up to the second knuckle. His outfit has yet to be modernized and was created by his sister, paying homage to ancient Mayan warriors. Gold shinguards and gauntlets inscribed will skulls and depictions of Xibalba cover his legs and forearms, while the majority of his chest is covered by a circular breastplate of inscribed gold with turqoise skulls that extends to his shoulders. A black traditional skirt with gold lining and a feathered obsidian jaguar skull headress complete his appearance.
Personality: Basically a dead cactus; abrasive, but not actively so. Ba is new to Earth’s customs, feelings, and interacting with other living beings. He is practical and does not often let his emotions control his actions, or even show for that matter. Ba is often apathetic and consistently unimpressed. Would be voted Biggest Debbie Downer in high school superlatives.
Nonetheless, though he is naturally stoic and relatively uninterested, this heightened level of near-constant indifference stems from his role in Xibalba. As the champion of his father and in constant competition with his sister, Ba learned from an early age that emotions only got in the way of his conquests. He knew it was his to to uphold Xibalba, not to question it.
Now on Earth, he is slowly learning about the multifaceted lives of mortals. He’s not exactly passionate about it, viewing it more like field research for a final exam he didn’t ask to take. As he adjusts to his current embodiment, he is discovering how innate emotions are to the human form. Still not quite able to grasp all of them, he is making an effort to learn and understand how this unusual world works. Surprisingly, he is quite talented at mortal things like languages, dancing, and rocking a man bun.
History: Ba is a champion of Xibalba, the ‘place of fear’ that is equivalent to the Mayan Underworld, but often confused with Hell itself. An immortal, Ba’bajide has bound himself in a Mortal form in order to give Xibalba a representation on Earth while learning about humanity- something that Xibalbans have lost throughout the millennium.
Ba is an immortal champion of Xibalba, the ‘place of fear’ that is equivalent to the Mayan Underworld, but often confused with Hell itself.
He and his twin sister, Ixquic, were born to the ruling deity of Xibalba, along with dozens of other siblings. What set the twins apart was that they were born the strongest, due to their mother being a creation goddess. The rest of their half-siblings, born to demons, lesser underworld deities, or even mortals, would often be too weak or unable to contain the death magic that ran through their veins.
Growing up, Ba and Ix were trained to oversee the underworld as well as fight for it. They were polar opposites as young demons and not much has changed, though it’s more of a yin yang sort of balance rather than fire and water.
Always obedient, Ba’bajide followed his father’s wishes and has bound himself in a Mortal form in order to give Xibalba a representation on Earth while learning about humanity- something that Xibalbans have lost throughout the millennium. There has been a few thousand years of separation between demons and humans, making it more of a scientific/observational venture.
Ba spent five years in México, where he first awoke in his new body, before coming to Jump City.
He speaks with his sister often and has returned to Xibalba twice in order to compete in the Underworld's Pok-ta Pok, which his team has won every time (Suck it, Lucifer).
Other: The champion of Xibalba is always hungry. In order to sustain his current body, he needs to consume a lot, resulting in him feeding around five times a day. He can eat anything, but more often than not decides on raw meat or organs. This is mainly due to the fact that he was strictly told that he isn't allowed to eat people.
Ba also has developed a taste for Tapioca pudding cups.

Spoiler: Side CharactersSpoiler: Ixquic
Name: Ixquic
Nickname/Hero/Villain Name: Ix / Your Highness / O DeathWeaver
Age: 84
Gender: Female
Alignment: Neutral Evil (Chaotic Evil on a good day)
Loyalties: Herself, Ba, Xibalba. In that order.
Powers/Weapons: Unlike her twin brother, Ixquic is not bound by a mortal form, but merely shifts her appearance to resemble Earth's population when she visits. As a young Immortal, Ix is still augmenting her skills as a goddess of death and fear, but nonetheless is incredibly skilled in her field. Shapeshifting and manipulating those around her are lightweight hobbies. Her lightning quick wit and fascination for the grotesque is the driving force behind many of the experiments carried out in Xibalba, including that of sending Ba to Earth.
Face Claim: Unknown.
Voice Claim: Scarlett Johansson
Casual Appearance: Her go-to look consists of bronze skin and espresso, shoulder-length hair. When Ix wishes to blend in, which isn't often, her eyes are black, otherwise they're a bright turquoise, which match the small hollow gauges in her ears with Mayan runes carved on the inside. Her persona is accented with long, sharp, black nails and a crimson pout that always looks wet. (There's a 11/10 chance it's blood, not lipstick.)
Any other shape she takes is dependent on the situation and what she wants out of it.
Super Appearance: She doesn't show up or care enough to change her appearance. However her natural appearance in her homeworld resembles that of a giant horned snake with iridescent black scales.
Personality: Think of an expensive cocktail- exquisitely crafted, perfectly garnished.
Now set it on fire. Edgy, right?
Now add Strychnine. A lot of it.
Ix is the type to start a nuclear war because she got bored.
She's not necessarily irrational, she just finds amusement in things that many would consider horrific and knows the consequences won't affect her.
Her brother is one of the few beings in existence who can talk sense into her, which is mainly why she's left Earth alone as much as she has.
History: Ix is a champion of Xibalba, the ‘place of fear’ that is equivalent to the Mayan Underworld, but often confused with Hell itself. She helped create and bind a mortal form to her brother so he could fulfill their father's wishes, as always, as a diplomatic entity between the North and South American Underworlds and explore Earth for a few years while she stayed behind to help in Xibalba. Originally, it had been intended for both twins to go, but their father quickly realized that Ix would be happy to watch the world burn just so she could go home early once she got bored.
Other: There is intense competition between Ixquic and Ba'bajide, but their relationship is probably the healthiest thing either of them has. Growing up, Ix liked to take what was her brother's, just to prove she could- spoils of war, skills, lovers, kingdoms. She wanted to break his stoic demeanor, but was never able to, resulting in her toning it down, but not giving up completely.
She visits Jump City regularly and has begun business ventures there. Probably just to keep Ba on his toes.
