Callie sniffled and looked away. "Well, you never said it back. Yes, you did kiss me, several times, but that was all you did." She whispered and then started to wipe her eyes with a free hand. "What do we need to do now?"

"I'm sorry," Jim said softly, looking down. "I really do love you." He walked over to her and took her hand. "Can I please hug you?"
Callie looked at him and nodded her head before hugging him the best she could with her free hand. "I love you so much...." She whispered and gave him a kiss. Of course Bae was just looking at the two, babbling happily.
Jim let out a relieved sigh and hugged her back tightly. "I love you so much too," he murmured and kissed her hair. After everything that had happened, he had to fight not to cry.
Callie smiled and looked at him. "I love you so much." She said and then sniffled as she started to kiss his lips. "I am so sorry for what I just did, but you scared me...."
Jim kissed her back, tears inevitably rolling down his face. "I'm sorry too... I didn't mean to scare you."
Callie nodded her head and then looked at him. "Aww, you're crying...." She whispered and then looked at their daughter. "And we got our daughter back....." She whispered and then looked at Jim. "Wanna hold her?"
He nodded in response to both of those things, and gently cradled Bae in his arms. He swiped at his eyes with the back of his hand and kissed Bae's forehead.
Callie sniffled and then got up to go and look at the body on the ground. "We will have to run, again....." She whispered to him and then sat on the floor, looking at the woman. "What did I do?"
Jim bit his lips as he rocked Bae gently. "You just finished what I started," he said softly.
