The year is 2013 and superstition has virtually come to a cease in the minds of the modern Russians. Vampires, Witches, Faeries, Werewolves, and pretty much anything mythical has become that of legend, no longer worrying the minds of the modern citizen. Moscow is the host to all foreign embassies in Russia, and is the center of Political power. With such power located in one city, it would be an easy target in the middle of a war; and not just any war. For centuries, since before they were the stuff of legend, two or three groups of Vampires have been feuding for control over Moscow. As far as the exact location of the feud, Vlakhernskoye-Kuzminki has been very successful in keeping everything quiet.

The public is under the impression that the estate has been taken over by the land, owned by one of the descendants of the original owners, but in reality it holds a political power of its own...one that could determine the fate for every human living in Moscow.

It is nearing Unity day in the fall of 2013, and the entire population is getting ready for the event. Barbecues, Picnics, and social gatherings are always held on the weekend of Unity day, and this year is planned to be no different. What the citizens don't realize is that in this time of peace and unity a war is happening, that will decide not only their fates, but the fates of all of Russia.

The two main groups in the fraction are Emperor Alexander of the Arctic (and his followers), and Lady Nosferat (along with her followers). The Emperor is trying to bring some measure of peace amongst Russia between Vampires and Humans, so they don't have to live in hiding, and Lady Nosferat's primary concern for her followers, and she cares little for human life, believing them to be beneath immortal beings. She uses humans as mere pawns to get what she wants, and when she is finishes she provides a feast for her followers. There is a history behind the Emperor and the Lady, and many of their followers wonder whether or not it will catch up with the war. There are a few rebel groups, trying to obtain control over Moscow for their own intentions, or those who refuse to be ruled by others and that are trying to make their own path in the war.

I'm not opposed to multiple characters, and you are more than welcome to play either the Emperor or the Lady. It's rated M for the possibility (probability) of violence/ possibility of romance. OOC not fully finished so I'll probably do a bit of editing anyway

Involvement with the War: Leela was born is beautiful Italy until her and her to be came to visit his parents but they were dead. She left for one day,returning to find her husband dead. She tried to leave but she was bitten by one the of Emperors men and she joined him.

Name: Kira Volkov
Age: changed when 20 years old, has been a Vampire for 30 years, 50 total
Gender: Female
Position/ Occupation: new recruit trainer
Involvement with the War: Kira not only trains the new recruits, but she leads the Emperor's training camp. Occasionally she will change those whom she believes has potential, but for the most part she leaves that to other members of his army.
Side: Emperor
Side: For the most part she's sided with the good, although many who train under her would argue with that, due to her strict methods and lack of patience.

Personality: While Kira does believe in free will, she also believes that people (or Vampires) shouldn't waste the rest of their eternal lives being lazy when there is a war going on. She knows how important it is for Lady Nosferat to be destroyed, and for the emperor to win, not only for Vampires but for humans alike. She doesn't want to have to live in hiding anymore, and while she does feed off of humans on a nightly basis, she doesn't have much choice in the matter either; not since she was changed thirty years prior.

She has always been interested in educating others, and she saw this as more of an opportunity than a curse. The one thing she hates the most is a lazy Vampire, and she tries her best to motivate recruits to using the most of their abilities for the side of good, and when sheer motivation doesn't work, she is sometimes forced to use force. Occasionally a rebel will break out in the camp, and Kira likes to make examples of them. Yes, she has killed Vampires before out of sheer example, but that is only if it becomes necessary. Usually she keeps them overnight and doesn't allow them to feed, showing them the consequences of rebellion.

History: As a human, Kira had always wanted to be a teacher, although she didn't have a clue what she wanted to teach. She was bitten half way through her second semester of college at age twenty, and she had spent most of her Vampire life trying to avoid the war. Finally she was approached by the Emperor himself, desperate for new recruits, and offered her the position to train new recruits using whatever manners possible. Needless to say she accepted the offer, and after a year's worth of training, she developed strict methods to ensure success, and developed routines towards educating new and young Vampires not only about what they are, self defense, but also about the war in general. While she is biased about which side to take, Kira gives the new recruits the entire story of what started the war, much to the Emperor's dislike. Her training lasts two and a half months (or longer, depending upon the recruit), before she declares a new recruit ready for battle. She also teaches Vampires how to go undercover, should they choose to act as a spy for the Emperor.

Position/ Occupation: Spy for the Emperor

Involvement with the War: Rodion's primary job is to find out about the Lady's recruits and her plans, and right now he is in the process of 'joining' her camp and trying to gather as much information as possible.

Side: Emperor
Side: Good

Personality: Rodion has always been curious, from the time he was an infant. When he was in his teens he was always getting in trouble for taking apart the radio, or taking the radio out of the family car. He had a habit of investigating things he found curious, and this would go all the way to following someone whom he thought was participating in criminal activity. He wasn't the most athletic person in the world, but he got more interested in physical stuff as he got older.

It was his curiosity in the end that got him changed, and to this day he is still mystified by what's happened to him, three years later. While most would consider this a curse, he uses it as a gift to help others. He despises being forced by thirst to kill every night, so out of the conscious of his mind he does his best to help as well. When a recruiter for the Emperor approached him and told him about the pending war, and gave him the opportunity to become a spy, he took it...after all, what better way to use his immortality than to toy with it? He was dead anyway, so what more could an immortal being do to him?

As of right now his primary goal is to do what he can in the war to not only help the humans, but to fight for the side of good and help in any way possible. He wants to make up for his nightly actions, although he knows that will take an eternity and then some. He is constantly plagued by his guilt, although he doesn't let it stop him from helping others.

History: When Rodion was seventeen years old he witnessed one of his classmates being brought into an alleyway, and naturally he was curious enough to follow, and try to help. He wasn't aware that his classmate had ticked off the wrong people, or the wrong beings to make it more accurate, and what he found was something that has been engraved in his memory ever since. His friend was having the life drained from him right before his eyes, and before he got the chance to flee for his, the Vampires had spotted him and changed him as punishment. He spent several weeks recovering after that, and even longer coming to terms with what he had become.

After having deprived himself of blood for over a week's time, Rodion had nearly become mad when a recruiter had caught him killing a human and draining her life. It was at that point he was offered a second chance, the ability to help end a war and he took it. He spent most of the year undergoing this training or that training, and finally when he turned 22 he was declared ready to fight. He was given orders and an objective, and turned away with nothing more than supplies, an alias, and training.
