Welcome! This is a medieval fantasy RP based on a book I am writing. This is a pretty laid back RP that takes place in a very big world full of all sorts of people and creatures. There are no stats or points or anything, just use your imagination. Feel free to make up names of small cities or towns if you want. The main thread will follow a story plot in an epic adventure to destroy the evil Demon Queen Deldranna. But if enough people like this RP, maybe we can create other RPs that are more free style, create your own plot.
If you have any questions or ideas, feel free to PM me or the co-GM, Setsa.
This is the second chapter of this rp. The first IC tread is here. The current one is here.
If you would like to participate in this RP, please use the following character app. Just no undead characters please. All undead are mindless automatons. Setsa and Pidge have their spots reserved, but all are welcome to join. If enough people want to join, I will make another RP.

Spoiler: Edynol CrezlynCharacter name: Edynol Crezlyn
Race: Human(Immortal)
Age: Forgotten. Aroun 3,000+ years.
Class: Immortal(Poses as a ranger/demon hunter though.)
Hieght: 6'3"
Hair: Dark Brown
Eyes: Hazel green
Discription: He comes off as a simple man in his early 20's, living off the land and offering his services as a ranger or demon hunter for little or no charge. He is often on the move, going to place all around the world, but mostly stays around the human kingdoms of southern Telanthria. He very mild tempered, kind to strangers, but does put up with bullies or trouble makers. He rides a black horse, named Jexus, though the horse is not what it seems. He usually wears a light brown shirt and brow trousers with a long, dark green hooded cloak lined with brown leather. His hair is thick and wavy and falls just below his shoulders. And though he is the Immortal of Darkness, he has a very light disposition, though he can be very grim when he wants too.
Spoiler: Edynol
Bio: As most immortals, he was born as a regular child, not coming into his powers until he was young man, around the age of 15. Of course this varies with other races. After falling in love with a woman, who was 3/4 elf, 1/4 demon, he married her and was truely happy for a few months. But when his village discovered what she was, they executed her without even holding a trial. This filled Edynol with grief and rage and he slaughtered the whole village, which was the beginning of a 106 year reign of terror, which lead to the distruction of several kingdoms and societies.
But one day, after recieving a vision from his dead wife, he stopped, exiling himself to the underworld where he would stay for over 2,000 years. Then after sensing a disturbance in the mortal world of Ethanria about 20 years ago, he returned. Now he is on a mission to to gather the other seven immortals, and any who wish to join, to put an end to this threat.
This is a list and description of most of the races and rules of Ethanria. Please read to get an idea of how these races behave before RPing one. The list is a pretty long read, so you might wanna read just what you applies to you and what type of character ya want.
Spoiler: RacesHumans - Humans are very diverse. Best read up on the human kingdoms to get an idea how humans from certain kingdoms behave. Humans are also inately attuned to magic and therefore are quicker to learn and potentially stronger than other races aside from Immortals, Dragons, and some demons.
In Ethanria, the first humans were actually offsprings of Torocks and Elves, but that has been long since forgotten except by a few elder dragons.
Dwarves - Dwarves are much like humans, though some tend to be a bit more greedy and will sometimes take unnecessary risks for the chance of claimig treasure. They are also quick to anger but rarely resort to violence unless gravely insulted, threatened, or attacked, though they will give you an earful. Especially the women. Most dwarves are experts in building, blacksmithing, and mining as well as making Jewelry and other things.
Elves - Elves are very hard to anger and have a fundamental respect for all life. Though most are a little shorter than humans, they can see longer distances than most other races and are very light on their feet and masters of stealth. They are good at making bows, spears, and other woodworkings as well as leather armors.
Elves do not like to waste anything. They hunt only for food and use furs for blankets, armor, and other leatherworkings and use the bones to make weapons and tools. They only use wood from dead trees or that has fallen on the ground and hate seeing trees harmed.
Torocks - Torocks are tall, strong, brutish looking humanoids. If not for having hair covering their entire bodies, they would look like very large humans. Most torocks grow to around 12-15 feet tall and wiegh anywhere between 800-1200 pounds of pure muscle. Aside from the dragons, they are one of the eldest races of Ethanria. No one is quite sure rather them or elves have been here longer.
Though they talk slowly when speeking common, which makes them appear not very intelligent, they are extremely intelligent, even more so than the elves, and are inately attuned to nature and druidic magics. They are very hard to anger, but extremely and deceptively agile when it comes to combat. And though they usually walk very slowly, they can run as fast as a horse if the need for haste arises.
Orcs - Orcs, like humans, are very diverse. Some are rangers and warriors, though most are druids and work cloesly with elves. A few orc clans are brute savages or bloodthirsty Bandits, rather they are corrupted or not.
Much like the elves, orcs waste very little and use animal bones and furs to make weapon and armors and such. They are about the same hieght as humans but usually a bit more stocky and have green skin. They also have small tusks, but the friendly orc cultres usually keep them filed away as they view them as a sign of aggression.
Trolls - Trolls are the twisted offspring created by demonic magics and the forced breeding of Orcs and Torocks. They are as big and strong as Torocks, but lack all the hair and have the featurs of orcs. Though few have been caught as infants and raised to be good, most are crazed, bloodthirsty killing machines and not very smart. They are also often used for beasts of burden by the demonic forces when not in a battle.
The trolls of the Anthar Wastes are free of demonic control and corruption, and thus a bit more intelligent and crafty, but they are still rather slow and no less vicious.
Dragons - Dragons are the eldest race of Ethanria. Their hierarchy consist of a broodmother for each type of dragon but are ruled by one, the Dragon Godess, Broodmother Ethanraza, whos age is unknown possibly even to herself. She is the mother of all dragons and thus does not belong to a brood. She mostly stays in elven form but her true form is is almost translucent, of no color but every color at the same time. And though known only to herself and 7 others, she is one of the 8 immortals, the Immortal of Arcane.
Blue dragons are dragons of water, masters of water and frost magic. Red dragons are fire/energy. White dragons are light. Black Dragons are dark magic. Green dragons are nature/life magic. Brown dragons are Earth. Grey Dragons are wind.
Demons - Demons can come in all shapes and sizes. Some are able to disguise themselves as other races though some demons naturally look human or elven, those who are offspring from cross breeding. There are humans and elves who wield demonic powers, but they are not as strong. Not all demons are evil, but most of them are. It is a rare occurance, but one of the side affects of crossbreeding is that sometimes they can be born with a soul and thus are susceptible to being turned to fight for good.
Burrow Worms - These are large creatures that burrow underground. Naturally they only feed on plants and minerals and small bugs, but in some areas, where the vegitation has been destroyed by corruption, some have resorted to eating anything that moves.
Cardons - These are large, eagle-like birds. They have about a 30-40 ft. wingspan when full grown and are the size of a young dragon. They are mostly vegetarians but will eat meat if hungry enough. Some people tame them and ride them in the air, but wild ones can be very vicious when they or their nests are threatened.
The Eight Immortals - The Story of Ethanria is centered around the 8 Immortals. An immortal can be born of any sentient race except demons. An Immortal is a god of his/her element and has seemingly limitless power. Immortals can be killed, but only by a being or force much stronger.
The Demon Godess Deldranna is the only single being in this world capable of killing an immortal. The only other feasible way to kill an immortal is with the help of the entire Dragon Race Hierarchy. But Ethanraza would never allow that. So yeah, you'll never beat an immortal.
The 8 immortals and other named characters, such as the rulers of kingdoms, are not available as player characters. They are NPCs. The Immortals are masters at masking their auras and radiance, so when they are not actively channelling magic, they come off as ordinary people of their race. Only Elder Dragons and other immortals can sense an immortal.
There is one Immortal for each type of magic, black, nature/life, light/holy, earth, water/frost, fire/energy, arcane, and wind. The Immortal of Darkness is played by me, and the others are NPCs atm but if you show good RP skill and etiquette, you may be able to play one yourself if you choose to. An immortal could be anyone or anywhere. Some may hold a position of high station and nobility or even royalty, or be posing as common farmer or trade merchant. You'll never know until they reveal themselves to you.
I do allow Cross-breed races, but there are limits. If you chose to make a cross-breed character, they can't have all their strengths and none of their weaknesses. For example, A half elf-orc might be very strong in both melee and ranged combat and have great accuracy, but would lack stealth and dexterity or not be very good at wielding magic. A half Human-dragon might be very strong with magic and physically strong, but weak when it comes to ranged combat with bows and spears and not very agile. So think wisely and don't make any godlike characters.(As a side note, you can't have a half demon dragon. They are just not compatible.)
God-moding is also against the rules. If fighting another player or a strong npc, don't dodge or deflect everything they throw at you and don't assume all your attacks will hit. Even an immortal will take a good hit sometimes. No one here is perfect. Though I do reserve the right to god-mod if someone is godmodding themselves or in order to progress the storyline.
And please don't use any non-fantasy names. Names like Ballblaster Bob and Smokey Headbanger are a no-no. And please try to make your posts both informative and legible. I ain't asking for like 300+ words every post, but please don't make the majority of your posts only a few line long.
And if you are a poor typist or speller, please use a spell checker. A few typos and misspelled words here and there is fine. We all make mistakes, but please try not to have your posts riddled with them.
And please try to be an active poster. If something comes up and you can't post for a while, let us know ahead of time and I'll save your spot. But aside from that, try to post at least every 3-4 days. Otherwise, you're character might die or be left behind.
If you want to have a romance with another character, that is fine, but keep it PG please and don't use too many curse words. I can overlook a curse word added for emphasis here and there, but don't be a potty mouth.
Well that's all folks. I know that was alot to read but hope I didn't bore ya to death. This is a pretty laid back RP so just have fun and let your imagination run wild.
Spoiler: The World of EthanriaBelow are the discriptions of the lands and their races. Again, a pretty long read, but if ya choose to skip over a few parts, I completely understand.
Spoiler: The Western LandsTelanthria is primarily inhabited by Humans, Dwarves, and Elves. The northern region, Modria Doman, is mostly Dwarven territory. The western kingdom is Frozh Kholdar and the main capital city is Anvilfrost. The eastern kingdom is Frostvale Bank, its capitol city being Frozh Dhar'dul. Both of these lands are ruled by Emperor Khazman Frosthammer, with each having its own king/queen. His Daughter, Dhav'mae Frosthammer, rules over Frozh Kholdar while his son, Dhar'dün Anvilfrost, rules over Frostvale Bank.
(**Note on Pronunciation: In the dwarven language, when D and H are together, it is pronounced like 'th' in the English language.**)
The dwarves don't have nobles, perse`, they have forgemasters/mistresses. All of which are of the Frosthammer bloodline. If you meet a dwarf with Frost in his/her last name, he/she is likely a forgemaster/mistress or hier. There are a few human settlements in the southern and eastern parts of the kingdom.
The central-eastern part of Telanthria is mostly Elvin area, though there are a few Orc settlements in the area. Some are friendly, some are not. The kingdom and main capital city are named Eversong Vale. The humans and dwarves of the southern Kingdoms view the area as mysterious and dangerous and rarely venture into its woods.
Everyone who has entered, never returned. The forest itself seems to sing at times. A beautiful, hypnotic voice that draws many who hear it to the heart or causes them to run away. But in truth, the elves are friendly to everyone who doesn't bring ill will to them. And most who never come back simply choose to stay or continue north to the Dwarven lands.
To the West is the Dwarven kingdom of Khul Duram. The capital city is Tresnia, a city built into the mountains several leagues West of Eversong Vale, it is shared equally by both humans and dwarves, but it's rule is maintained by the dwarves. The king is Morin Silverforge. Like the northern dwarven kingdoms, anyone with Silver in their last name is a Forgemaster/mistress.
South of Tresnia is the Anthar Wastes. A huge desert and a dangerous area inhabited by Orc and troll nomads who are hostile to everyone including each others. Very rarely will you see the orcs and trolls of this area work together, but there have been time so when a large invasion force enters the waste. Even the animals of the waste are hostile, so be wary.
There is a magically preserved oasis in the western part called Evergreen Springs, for some reasoin the orcs and trolls never go near it but it is a safe haven for travelers. There is also a small forest on the northern border below Tresnia, and though relatively safe if you stick to the roads durring the day, there is always some chance of danger at night.
To the south of the Wastes are the human kingdoms. They are mostly woods and rivers and small villages aside from the capital cities of each kingdom. The largest kingdom is that of Ethranar, ruled by King Gareth Ethran and Queen Anella Sareth-Ethran. It covers the western part of the human kingdoms from southern end to the borders of the Wastes. Most of the people are friendly to outsiders, but there are thieves and bandits around most areas. Walking the forest roads at night is not advisable without a few people to watch your back, exept in or around the capital city. The kingdom is huge and the King's Gaurds are not limitless.
The land consists of several villages and small cities, and people of every profession. There are also a few Dwarf settlements around the large mountain called Crystaldeep Caverns, where there seem to be a limitless supply of gold and jewels. Bandits are numerous in the woods around this area.
The main capital is the city of Ethrangarde, a huge and well fortified city on the southern part of the kingdom. You'll find several people from all the southern kingdoms here as well as almost anything you can need or want. There is small port city on southern border call Port Ethran.
North-East of Ethranar is Aradon. Though one of the smallest kingdoms it is the most respected and feared, for it's the home Vealigarde, the magical city and base of operations for the Vealian Mestai, the masters of magic and arcane knowledge. Most mages, priests, and other practitioners of magic go here for schooling and training. Most people native here are very proud of their knowledge and can sometimes seem arrogant and self assured and don't like to be proved wrong. They demand respect but aren't short tempered unless you hit a nerve, which isn't advisable.
This kingdom doesn't have a king or queen, but a High Council lead by the High Seat of the Etherial Palace. A high Seat is voted upon by the council and can be a man or woman. Curently, the High Seat is held by Annora Runeforge, a female dwarf. When addressing the High Seat, it is best to address him/her as High Seat with the option off adding his/her last name.
South of Aradon is the kingdom of Kydin Bar. Not really a hostile, but it's laws are pretty laxed as far as killing goes, as long as it is done so in a duel. Thievery and Murder is punishable by death, if you're caught, but you can challenge someone to a duel over pretty much anything. The king's guards rarely venture outside the city unless aid is requested, so the surrounding villages are usually defended by townsfolk, and there are thieves and bandits all over the place, so watch your back here. The people here are usually hot tempered and will look for any excuse for a fight.
The main city is also named Kydin Bar and the current king is Nork Branwyn, though this kingdom usually has a new king every 2-3 years. Even the king can be challenged to a duel by common folk if the reason is sound and the king found guilty through a short trial. The king can choose to accept a duel and bypass the trial, but if he is found guilty he can't refuse the duel. When a new king is raised, he can't be challenged for the first two years of his riegn, but can be executed if guilty of morder or thievery.
To the east of Aradon is the kingdom of Avenstone Vale. Though a little smaller than Aradon, it is concidered one of the safest kingdoms. Despite its name, there are more trees than stones, but the kingdom is well fortified with stone barracades along most of its borders which are well guarded with large gates every few leagues to allow for trading and traveling. The land inside the walls mostly consists of forests and small villages mostly inhabited by farmers and herders.
The capital city of Stonegarde is relatively small, no bigger than the minor cities of larger kingdomes, but it is very well fortified and its walls have never been penetrated. The people are friendly and there is very little crime in the whole kingdom. This is mainly because the people of this kingdom are deseptively stalwart and skilled fighters.
As soon as one reaches 13, boy and girl alike, they are trained in the sword, staff, and spear and military strategy 4 days a week until the age of 17. After which, they can choose rather to join the guard and learn additional weapon skills or return home to their normal lives as they wish. But everyone follows a strict code of honor and won't harm anyone unless attacked first or a law is broken. The orcs and trolls of the waste stay far from this kingdom, because when you fight the Avens, you fight ALL the Avens.
Below Avenstone Vale is the large river called the Kelthallinel by most, though the Avens call it the Stonevale Rapids. It runs from the Avenstone border to the ocean but has a mysteriously calm lake in its center which holds no current or undertow. Most believe it is the work of the Vealian Mestai, though they niether confirm or deny it.
Covering the entire eastern border, which a several leagues smaller than the west, is the Kingdom of Cairdian. The majority of the kingdom is tropical with a huge beach along it's eastern border and serveral docking ports. The people of this land are just as exotic, they have very little modesty when it come to showing of their bodies but have very strange customs. You can look but not touch without permission unless you are wed or betroved to him/her. And though not against the law, staring too long at them is considered offesnsive unless given permission or they are performing or dancing or you're interacting with them. A short look and a smile is concidered a flattering compliment, because they are proud of their bodies, but staring too long is concidered lustful and degrading.
The Cairdians, or Cairs as some call them, as a people are friendly, but very watchful of outsiders, though there are few who don't care much for outsiders. Their laws are well inforced, but some a strange. One cannot be convicted of a crime against another person if it is comitted on their own land. Ones land is his/her kingdom as they see it. But if someone forces you onto their land or assaults you on yours, and you kill them, you keep their land. They care very little for gold but trade well for meat and fruit and grain that is not found in their kingdom.
Their mani capital city is Cal'dar Aein, a large city but full of trees on the edge of the forest overlooking the beach. It's walls are not very well fortified but are heavily guarded and the Cairs are masters of bow and spear. If come at straight, they fend of an army 3-5 times their size before anyone reaches their walls. They are currently lead by Queen Azmari Zangee. They never have both a king and queen, just a king and his Cair'sar or a queen and her Cair'sin, their 1st mate, for Cairdians can have more than one life mate. And the first one they wed is chosen as their Cair'sin/sar.
Spoiler: The Eastern LandsAedranar is mostly inhabited by Orcs, Elves, Trolls, Torocks, Dragons, and Demons. Most of the kingdoms here are hostile to outsiders. Aside from the southern kingdoms, Dragonwood Vale and part of Kodu Trahken, Aedranar is tinged with evil and corruption.
Kodu Trahken is the northern kingdom. Mostly inhabited by the noble and spiritual Kodu Torocks. The capital city, if you can call it a city, is Kodukhan. Kodukhan is half city half cavern, and very well fortifide by the surrounding mountains. The Kodu have thicker fur than torocks of other areas but not as tall, standing on average at only 8-10 feet tall. The Kodu are noted for their relationship with the Burrow Worms, whom they coexist peacefully with in their cavernous lands. Their ruler is Elder Korik Iceleaf. He is the 2nd oldest living mortal in Ethanria.
The Southern part of Kodu Trahken, spanning about 100 leagues from the border, is tinged with corruption. And though not wholely corrupted, it is heavily contested and a very dangerous place for those not familiar with the area. While mostly inhabited by demons and corrupted Torocks, there are a few Kodu outposts in the area.
South of Kodu Trahken is Dagger Woods. And while the forest and trees themselves aren't corrupted, the savage orcs, demons, trolls, and Torocks as well as a few elves, are. Dagger Woods is very deceptive. With it beautiful trees and clean lakes and streams, one would not expect it to be largely inhabited by demons and other corrupted races.
The capital city of Dagger Woods is Zarangar. The city is large and moderately fortified with stone and wood. It is heavily guarded by archers, warlocks, and battlemages and it is very difficult to penetrate its walls. But despite that, the guards aren't very intelligent when it come recognizing friend from foe because of the huge mix of races. Almost anyone can walk up to the front gate and salute and say "Hail the Great Godess" and get access to the city. Therefore the city is riddled with spies from all races around Aedranar. They have no ruler, but a dark council.
East of Dagger Woods are the Dragonthorn Wastes. The land mostly corrupted mostly void of life except for the large Burrow Worms. And while the worms are not corrupted, they will eat just about anything for the lack of vegitation in the area. It is advisable to tread carefully in this area for the burrow worms have sand traps all over the place.
In the center of Dragonthorn Wastes is the uncorrupted forest of Dragonwood Vale. The forest is inhabit by Dragons, Torocks, and Elves. And though not hostil to outsiders, except for those who follow the Great Demon Godess Deldranna, they are not overly welcoming either. They will allow travelers to stop and rest a few days, but no longer. They are ruled by the Dragon Godess, Broodmother Ethanraza, whos age is unknown possibly even to herself. She is the mother of all dragons and thus does not belong to a brood. She mostly stays in elven form but her true form is is almost translucent, of no collor but every color at the same time.
Taking upalmost the entire center of Aedranar is the Maul of Corruption. This entire land is corrupted and infested with demons and other corrupted races who follow the Demon Godess Deldranna. Aside from the southern lake, kept clean by the Elves, orcs and torocks of the southern kingdoms, all the water in this region is corrupted and will kill you if you drink it unless you're a demon.
The main stronghold of the area is Coregarde, where sits the throne of Deldranna herself. The large fortress, which is bigger than most capital cities, has little needs for the few guards it has because it is protected by very strong demonic magic. It is impossible to penitrate it with brute physical force. The great dragons themsleves were only able weaken the shield in their one failed assult of the fortress.
To the south-west is the kingdom of Tremal Knell, home to one of the two Great Trees of Ethanria, the Great Tree Teldrinel This are is inhabited mostly by Elves and Torocks, but there a few dragons, humans and orcs amongst them. Aside the wild beasts and a few corrupted races that sneak past the border from time to time, the woods are relatively safe. The leader of this kingdom is the Green Dragon Broodmother Aedaraza
The Great Tree Teldrinel is the source of the magic fighting the demonic corruption of the demons, using Aedaraza as a conduit. Around the tree and within its branches is a village of small dwelling built into the trees.
To the east are the Aedran Woods. This area is much like it's sister forest of Tremal Knell, but mostly inhabited by Orcs and Torocks with a few elves and green dragons. Aedran is more prone to demonic incursion, but is still a relatively safe area for enemies of the Demon Godess. It's leader is the great Druid Elder Horm Treemender. The eldest of the Torocks he is the oldest living mortal being in Ethanria at 4257 years old.
The great tree Aedranel is the source life giving magic, helping to maintain the world's life energies and defending against demonic magic. It uses Horm Treemender as a conduit and it's villages are the same as Teldrinel's.
Spoiler: The Seaspanse IslesThe Seaspanse Isles consists of two kingdoms shared by Humans, Elvels, Orcs, and Torocks. The northern islands of this this region belong to the kingdom of Ghendaril, The main island is well populated and is a key trading port between the southern kingdoms of it two nieghboring continents. It ruled by the human king Ganzi Tochee, a distant cousin of Queen Azmari Zangee of Cairdian. Most of the humans here Cairdian as well and have the same cultural beliefs.
To the south is Telnia Aeron. A tropical paradise that is considered the sister kingdom of Cairdian, it is mostly populated by humans though there are a few Torocks and elves there. The people here are very friendly but have zero tolerance for violence. Like their Cairdian cousins, they are very skilled in bow and spear and share the same basic belief structure, but have different laws and a more open lifestyle. They don't care if you stare a long time. They are ruled by Queen Shamira Carvii.
Spoiler: Isle of Tranquil StormsThis continent is both wonderful and dangerous. There is a huge, neverending storm always present above the islands. Though the winds of the storm aren't very strong, barely strong enough to fill a ships sails, actually, no one really knows how it can never stop raining or why the islands never get flooded. The people of this land are very defensive of outsiders, and though Elves and Torocks are able to come and go as they please, other races are not welcome unless accompanied by elves or Torocks.
The main island is called Stormvale as is it main city pouplated only by Elves and Torocks, aside from its ruler the Blue Dragon Broodmother Taerazana, who is rarely seen outside of her Torocken form. Though the land is free of demons and corruption, it is largely inhabited by exotic yet dangerous beasts.
The smaller island to the south is called Everstorm Isle. It is pretty much same as Stormvale but ruled by the elven queen Ellindella Stormwhisper.
Spoiler: The Frostmist IslesThe Frostmist Isles are not heavily populated with anything other than Frost Dragons, though there are a few Dwarves and Torocks there in the Capital City and a few small villages. And though the isles are Ruled by by a council of Dwarves, Torocks, and Frost Dragons, which are really of the Blue Brood but work with ice instead of water, the Blue Dragon Broodmother Taerazana makes occasional visits there and is considered it's true queen as well.
Frostmist is not really hostile to outlanders, as they call them, but they won't hesitate to kill anyone who violates their laws. The main Capital City of North is alot like Tresnia in style, built into a large mountain to where from a distance it looks like part of the mountain, providing great camouflage from those foolish enough to invade it.

He isnt an overly large dragon, only about 15 feet tall, but he is a fast and acrobatic flyer with extreme control over his wind and air abilities. A light weight as far as dragons go he has learned quite a few defensive abilities along with attack, but all of his abilities are wind based.

Leaving the safety of the uncorrupted land he called home he flew deciding that the first place he would like to visit was The Great Tree Teldrinel. His adventure was cut short as a band of demons brought him down over the Maul of Corruption. He was tortured for a time, but one day a demon actually set him free. Jai fled back to Dragonwood Vale and spent a long time recovering from his ordeal. He realized though that corruption has no bounds. All races could be corrupted, he had seen others fall to demons tortures, and even demons could fight their corruption, as was proven by the demon who actually set him free. Jai decided he would fight for justice for everyone and left the safety of the vale a wiser dragon. He began to travel as a hunter, dispatching all who were truely corrupted, not just demons. Recently he has heard rumor of the immortals trying to band together to fight some new threat. It interested him and Jai has decided to try and find the immortals and join their cause if they will have him. Sadly, this latest quest has been hampered by the fact that he doesnt know who the immortals are.

Hair: Very light brown, with natural highlights caused by exposure to the sun. Her hair is straight, and reaches the middle of her back when loose. She usually wears her hair in a loose bun, or wears it loose.
Eyes: Her eyes are a light bluish-green color, ringed in plain blue.
Discription: Lanella's skin is tanned from sunlight, as she is a traveller. She has a rather athletic build, but she's thin and can appear weaker than she is. She finds that in her travelling lifestyle, dresses and petty accessories are pointless, and so dresses in plan shirts, trousers, and boots. She favors deep green shirts, brown trousers, and a pair of comfortable black boots that lace up to her knees. She has a black woolen cloak that she only wears when its cold, and a brown messenger bag in which she keeps her few belongings.
Bio: Lanella grew up in Ethrangarde, but left when she was still young. From the age of 14, Lanella's been travelling on her own, picking up knew knowledge but mostly just enjoying a life of general solitude. However, she is very friendly, and has a few friends in most of the towns and cities of Telanthria; at least, those towns and cities which welcome humans. Because travelling on your own (especially as a woman) can be dangerous, she has learned how to defend herself, and is especially adept at hand to hand combat. She keeps two fighting daggers on her person at all times, and isn't afraid to use them. However, she's also a healer. She's keeps various helpful plants and herbs with her at all times, but also learned some of the healing magics when she travelled to Aradon. She also keeps on her, in a hidden pouch, a powdered poison, which makes one's skin burn on contact. Because it is difficult to control, Lanella only uses it in emergencies, and only when she has her pair of thick leather gloves on. She continues to travel, without much of a destination in mind, but has recently begun to pick up an interest in the whisperings of the Demon Queen trying to gain more power, and in the movements to stop her.
Spoiler: HedaCharacter Name: Heda (which means “Anger”) the Nightmare or Harpy
Race: Demon/Human
Age: Possibly close to 200, looks close to 20.
Class: Hunter, a combination of Warrior and blood-path Shaman (on the rare occasion he uses his own blood to cause mayhem)?
Height: 6’ 5”
Hair: Copper, almost feathery, down to mid-back.
Eyes: Burgundy.
Description: Tall, lean, with elegant (almost noble-looking) features but silent as death itself, wrapped in flowing black spirit-robes suitable for the role. Hidden beneath: taloned hands, dragonlike feet, human-style body but pale as the grim reaper’s bones and clad in simple tunic and pants of black to match. Sharp copper metal-feathered wings are also concealed in such robes, their bell-like ringing silenced within there, until he decides to unsheathe them with the sound of a thousand swords being drawn… and he can summon armor of the same copper substance beneath those robes for self-defense.
He usually glides silently as a ghost using his robes, as when he actually walks, his tread is heavy and cuts into the ground with his talons. Most of the time, he tries to stay invisible, and merely observe… but his aura, which he cannot conceal, is heavy and dark and predatory, always lingering around him like a sky threatening rain.
Abilities:
--The robes are made of his spirit and shadows, not true cloth, but they muffle all sound within them, allow him to levitate, and can conceal him from all eyes by turning him invisible when he draws up his hood. They are not a physical protection, nor do they hide his scent or heavy aura.
--The talons are his source of nourishment, as when they draw blood, he consumes the life-force of his victim—and if he stabs someone with them or a feather, he may drain them to their death for nourishment and healing. He can drain energy from shields and spells, but only a limited quantity and certain kinds will make him ill if he tries. Real food is of little use to him, just a novelty.
--The feathers are as strong as demonscale, and ring with bell-like tones when struck. He has been known to rip a few out and throw them like knives, despite the pain of their removal. Those wings unsheathe like a thousand swords and slice like scythes when he swings and flaps them, but are unable to fly. They can be used to shield from blades and spells as well, but direct touch of fire or anything holy like holy water turns the feathers in contact instantly to ash. He has scale-like armor he formed from his own shed feathers, but it meets the same constraints and must be summoned by his will out of his own flesh.
--His blood is a foul-tasting and sharp-scented tar-like black substance. It carries the same life-force he’s fed on and can be used to foul up spells and wards and shields, or perform blood-path ritualistic spells, but this seriously costs him. His flesh is flesh—it cuts and tears like any other human, though his strength is above that of a normal human due to his demon heritage.
--A telepath, he prefers this means of communication, as his voice is slightly metallic and clearly inhuman, though his mental touch is as strong, heavy, and shadowed as his aura. He has been known to forcibly increase his predatory aura to a menacing level to intimidate and frighten people away when they annoy him.
Personality: Heda is a serious man, likes to observe, and has a great deal of curiosity. While he is a menacing and dark creature and thrills in killing and consuming lives, he has a compassionate streak, especially towards the innocent and young. Mostly, however, he is an impartial feeder on living creatures, and really could care less about mortal and immortal conflicts… though he has occasionally grown fond of individuals caught up in such conflicts, and will aid them at times.
He dislikes light, butterflies, and jokes. He hates fire.
Bio: Heda was born to a beautiful human woman rescued by a demon in the Dagger Woods. This demon was not so cruel as some, perhaps even loved the woman he took in, but when Heda was too young to remember, the pair fled to the boarder with Kodu Trahken. There, the demon was slain, and his mother managed to smuggle Heda onto a ship with her, heading off into the wider world… Eventually they reached the kingdom of Ethranar. There, Heda reached maturity mostly hidden from the world by his mother in a village called Fresnor, where he grew up told of his father’s fairness and skills, and observed the cruelties of Man. She died of illness soon after he reached adulthood, and from then on, Heda took to wandering the world on his own.
Spoiler: Thaddeus RopeCharacter name: Thaddeus Rope
Race:Human/Elf, though he's unaware of his elf half.
Age: 25
Class: Assassin
Height: 5' 10"
Hair: Short, dark brown hair.
Eyes: icy blue
Description:
Mr. Rope wears an open black suit and tie, which has corrosive acids and lethal poisons hidden in every concealable spot. For some time, he would have killed just about anything for money. Recently, however, he was stricken with a slightly heavier sense of nobility, narrowing down his acceptable targets to criminals and the more reprehensible races of Ethanria. Still, he treats his job as a white-collar business, and behaves politely and formally at all times, rarely deviating from "the customer is always right".
Bio:
Among shadier circles, Thaddeus Rope and Jonathan Irish are the stuff of legend. Less successful assassins and thieves-for-hire often even doubted their existence, believing the names were actually titles bestowed upon top-of-the-line killers.
Mr. Rope had traveled aimlessly through the land for some time before coming across Mr. Irish. The two of them set up a base of operations in Ethrangarde in a nondescript building. The two tore through the Western Lands like a hurricane, once even nearly collapsing the blacksmith's guild.
Recently, however, Mr. Rope has lost his partner, as well as a significant amount of business. To maintain the same amount of money, he expanded his horizon to include some mercenary work, often acting as a merchant caravan guard.
Spoiler: Adra'liana StarseerCharacter name: Adra'liana Starseer
Race: Elf, although her father is actualy half dragon
Age: 21
Class: Seraphim
Hieght: 5'8
Hair: black, short (comes just below her ears), flared out at the ends.
Eyes: green
Discription:Spoiler: Adra'liana in her outfit (front view)
Spoiler: Adra'liana in her noble outfit (back view for her cape)
Bio: Adra'liana, or Adra for short, is the only daughter of the noble Starseer family, and as such she has lived a privlaged life. She learned how to use a bow at a young age like many elves did, as well as sword fighting and some magic, although she isn't that good at magic, not like most of her family who are skilled in magic more so then in swords. She isn't very stealthy and is sort of good in a straight up fight, so long as she has some close range support. She trained as one of her families two special classes, the Seraphim, skilled ranged and mellee combatants.
Spoiler: Dread Gian
This was added a long time after I moved onto the race. I THOUGHT I knew what I wanted to do, but changed my mind at the last minute and got stuck for awhile.
Character Name: Dread Gian.
Race: Orc (I noticed it doesn't list what orc groups are dubbed as so may I go with clan? Typical orc group anyway.)
Age: 21.
Class: Blood Stalker (Orc Ranger... it doesn't say how they're organized does it?)
Height: '6'6' (Abnormally tall? Some humans are like that.)
Hair: Dirty brown.
Eyes: Light green.
Description: He's a rather quiet fellow. Often preferring to suddenly attack from the underbrush if he's hunting for food or stalking an enemy. At heart he's a loner, but often acts as a 'silent hero' if he feels as though the situation isn't honorable enough. Although he has no issues with ambushing, he does have a huge a major issue with killing something before they have an idea of what is coming, save for hunting.
Spoiler: Dread GianJust add green skin. Green eyes..
Bio: Hailing from the Red-skull Clan (Once again assuming since there are no big dealings about the Orcs) a clan living in the Aedran Woods. Dread was raised mostly as a Stalker for both wildlife, and the occasional demon that tormented the clan. For the most part, he had no real connections with people in casual relationships. This balanced his tendency to raise moral slightly simply by showing that he has everyone's back.
By the time he was 16, and expected to do a rite of passage into adult hood. (Once again.. assuming... why does no one have an orc?!) He instead, vanished by the clan's point of view. Since then, he wandered around. Trying to find new challenges. Of course, up until recently he began wandering into the Maul of Corruption. Never making it the first three miles, then deciding to turn back.
He makes a living by hunting animals, often selling to the towns and cities within the southern kingdoms. He aims to buy passage from a ship (If any >.<) to reach the northern kingdom and test his skills on the burrow worms of the Dragonthorn Wastes.

Height: 5'7"
Hair: Short, Unkempt, Dark Brown

His left arm is completely covered by a white wrap, down to the fingers. He wears a belt that normally holds a few pieces of equipment.
Bio: Lucas had been a wanderer for as long as he'd care to recall; only stopping at towns and cities for supplies and work. The only incidents he's had with adventurers is the occasional run-in with people who decided he was an easy target (and were quickly proven wrong,) and as such, his demonic nature has gone relatively unnoticed. Only recently did the current situation catch up to him. Despite being a demon, he is relatively benign, only going off the deep end if pushed far enough. He is thoroughly sarcastic, and has no qualms about making a snide comment if it feels justified or needed.

She generally wears light flexible leather armor when traveling, training or teaching otherwise she wears plain breeches with shirts or tunics. After her mandatory four-years of training (an expert swordswoman she prefers the rapier, but can use any bladed weapon she finds) Naomi Joined the Guard at age eighteen and served another four years at a small garrison in northern Avenstone Vale on the borders of the Anthar Wastes where she distinguished herself as a loyal and fearless fighter. She is fond of good food, strong drink, gambling, expertly designed weapons, well bred horses and strong, handsome men. She does tend to gamble excessively when drinking.
Dislikes Politics, politicians, braggarts, dim witted nobles, incompetent officers, disorganized individuals, milk and cooked vegetables
Fears: heights.
When it comes to interacting with others: She is friendly but guarded around strangers or newcomers. She is normally quiet and soft spoken but at times shows a hair-trigger temper. She is self-effacing and do not take complements well.

Naomi was considered a prodigy in the art of fencing and dueling using the rapier and began her training at the age of four. It is rumored that she has killed six opponents in separate unsanctioned duels, but that has never been confirmed. She served with distinction during her time at the garrison and took part in numerous raids against the barbarian Orcs and Trolls. She trains an average of four to six hours daily and is an instructor of the art.
Naomi has recently been released from service and, with her retirement pay, intends to travel the world and see what there is to be seen. She hopes to, one day, settled down and live comfortably with someone she can love and respect.

They parted ways, but a day later she was attacked by the demon Edynol was after, and at that time she couldn't take the demon by herself. But as luck would have it, Edynol was close by and saved her. She then hired him as a bodyguard and they traveled together for several years. She eventually learned Edynol was an immortal during a mission into the Anthar Wastes to rescue a group of abducted villagers when he decimated an entire tribe of trolls on his own after finding the body of a child.
Despite the feelings they shared, her and Edynol parted ways when she married King Gareth Ethran in a political marriage to tie the rest of the southern kingdoms to Ethranar through the Vealian Mestai. But even though she is the queen of Ethranar, she makes it plainly known that she is Vealian Mestai first, queen second, and a very weak second at that.
