Major Countries

• Dagron – Big, powerful, feared by many, and hated by more. Militant. Ruled by a Monarchy. The common populace see the monarchy as crusaders and bringers of the true gods. The monarchy themselves is by no means highly religious. Most members are only what the people believe of them when in the public eye. When alone in the closed off section of the royal city their corruption becomes apparent. Prince Deneos and those loyal to him are the exception. Their military is undoubtedly the most powerful because it possesses the perfect balance of power, manpower, technology, magic, training, and leadership.
• Sha – Smaller closely allied with Prince Deneos of Dagron. Officially they are allied with Dagron but they have pledged themselves to Deneos and are fervently loyal to him. Sha is home to the deadliest and most efficient school of assassins know to the world. They also boast a deadly efficient, but small military. The reason for their loyalty is that Denos saved Kajit, the head of their assassin order, from death at the hands of Linonian raiders.
• Tigre – Dagron's other major ally. Currently in anarchy and occupying a majority of Dagron's attention. Tigre is falling apart because rebels managed to overthrow the old government. The old Oligarchy with the help of the Dagron miltary, led by Prince Deneos, is in the process of reclaiming their country. The situation for the rebels looks grim. They are rumored to be associated with the Cult of the Black Lion. Tigre boasts one of the strongest cavalry in the world.
• Bitarb – The only one of Dagron's allies that is not loyal to them. They are only loyal as long as it it convenient. They are of moderate size and military strength. Being both smaller and less powerful than Dagron and Linos they are forced to do what those countries want. The only they that makes them of such vital importance is that they hold within them the only easy passage into Dagron.
• Linos – Dagron's biggest rival and Dagron's hated enemy. Almost as powerful as Dagron. Has become militant due to Dagronian aggression throughout the recent centuries. Ruled by the cult that Linonian life centers around. The cult is officially known as The Cult of the Black Lion but everywhere else it is known as the Cult of Blood after the human sacrifices they are rumored and known to commit.
• Reab – Linos' most fervent and outspoken supporter. This is mainly because quiet recently The Cult of the Black Lion took over the countries government and religion. Reab's power comes from is immensely huge army. The only problem is that it is rather untrained, and were it not for the fact that they leaders of this force were superstitiously fearful of the cult they were forced to live with they would have risen up already. As it is now they will fight to the death for Linos.
• Arcadia – As its name might suggest, it is a place of arcane brilliance. They are tenuously supportive of Linos for fear of what Linos might do to them otherwise. They do not approve of The Cult of the Black Lion which they KNOW to becoming more evil and corrupt every day. The know that they are delving into deeper and darker magics than anyone should. They provide to Linos battle-mages and other such magics that are so important in fighting a war these days. Secret supporters of Dagron.

This story centers around Crown Prince Deneos and and a group that gathers around him. For now. These are the days, the weeks, the months before a world consuming war. The back story is the stories of your characters for the past of this world no longer matters because it is going to be changed forever.

But he has fallen from grace, and in order to restore his honor he much find and silence the Crown Prince of Dagron. Ranth a normally obedient man, found that he had trouble accepting this order. He had heard and knew the truth of Deneos' nobility, he found it hard to believe that his death would do anything to stem the chaos engulfing the world. However, he was bound to do as he commanded.

I am The Shadow, a high ranking Sha assassin.
Backstory/Personality: Fenoras was trained, as most Sha assassin's are, from birth. He doesn't know his mother nor his father nor does he care to. He also holds no resentment towards them for giving him to the Assassins for training as that is just what one does in Sha. It became quickly apparent that he was more talented then most. He was adequate with just about every weapon he was trained with but where he excelled was with the scythe and with magic. His magic was special though as it was not offensive, well not in the shoot fireballs sort of way. He had a innate gift at birth to absorb magical attacks. There was of course danger in this. The magic had to be reflected somewhere and if absorbed the magical energy had to be absorbed into something. So if someone was shooting a fireball at him he could absorb it and redirect that energy into anything nearby that could be heated up. He is in no way immune to magic's effects.

So after he finished his training he received a gift from the head of the order. A special scythe that could due to its magical nature absorbed a limited amount of magic attacks. This scythe was also imbued with the power of ice and left cold frost in its wake. He was quickly assigned to Deneos to protect him from assassins of the magical variety and was surprised to find that Deneos was not a spoiled prince like one, who didn't know anything about him, might believe believe. He found Deneos to be a spectacular leader and much more that capable of defending himself from almost any attacker.

Deneos quickly say that Fenoras was much more than a blade and put Fenoras to work in the military's research department. His faith was not unfounded and Fenoras quickly began putting out technology that had never been seen in the world before. Fenoras had always as a child, when he was not training, drawn fantastic things that he wanted to make. He was a inventor at heart. His masterpieces are the most highly guarded secrets in the Dagronian military. He has trained in and carries around two of his prototypes, things that he believes will revolutionize the way ground warfare is fought. His rifle and his pistol. He is also one of the team that began airborne warfare, but that is a story soon to be revealed.

Extra: Fenoras Argile is a genius and is one of the minds behind the revolutionary technology coming from Dagron. He invented something for himself that he is sure will become popular when the technology is put to civilian use. He calls it the pocket-watch.

Personality : Cold, you will never get anything from her mouth evens through harsh torture. She doesn't talk too much and is often seen reading from a small book. Is a quiet person, often she will not talk, her words are written laws for the dead. Nothing more could be spoken about her, Layla as she goes by the name L is not a person who opens to others. But is loyal and pretty much doesn't care which side she is on, either way she must torture or kill people, as it makes her feel alive. She is know as the Prince's little toy she is mocked and teased even by people inferior to her. Of course she doesn't pay any attention, but she has the right to kill those who try to beat up her. As for enemies, they have a strange fear and hate toward her. Her youth can be tagged as a mere training to be on Prince side.

Living with the fear that she will lose her home again Layla wishes fiercely to gain the trust of the Prince. Also she tends to get lost in thought at times, because she is nearly always thinking and analyzing situations looking for answers and resolutions to problems and issues. Her innate power of observation, and the need to learn and understand what goes on around her are a true gifts of her birth. While these qualities may cause some to think of Layla as nosey, inquisitive, and indolent person, this is far from true, regardless of how her slow reactions may come off at times.

She is an economical, deep thinking person and resolving problems is her specialty. Layla is an intuitive person with an inborn sense of insight and awareness, another area of interest for her is the mystery of life which leads her to the study of metaphysics and the occult, to tackle the greater questions of life. She possesses a genuine gift for being prepared, punctual, and planning. She tended to be somewhat a cautious person, who usually is not the one to act first and think later; and generally remain cool under fire, and not to sweating the small stuff. As a rule, Layla doesn't like surprises and need to know where her next meal is coming from. She is known to have a duplicitous nature, and can at times display a cruel two-faced quality, though is seldom intentionally malicious. She especially prone to this behavior when feeling she has, been wronged or hurt by others, which may be easy to do since she has a tendency to be oversensitive and take things way too personally. She is a self-reliant and self-sufficient person who would prefer to stand on her own two feet and do for herself rather than rely or depend on others, or to ask for help - even when needed.

Personality: A bit show-off-ish and has the ability to go off at the mouth to anyone that he doesn't like. He is one that just doesn't care what others think or feel about him. Scytoruz cuts corners whenever he sees fit, and due to this, the ones around him see him as either lazy, cold hearted, or genius. Always wants to get the job done as quickly as possible, no matter what happens. If doing something he doesn't like, he either argues about it to get out of doing it, or complains about it while he does it. Tends to be a smartalick with his words but does it in a simi-respectful manner. Even though he is seen as a self-centered jerk, his actions aren't who he truely is. He does think logically, is caring, and believes in honor, courage, and selflessness...he just thinks it's more entertaining to act this way.

Backstory: From the time he was of age, he became a soldier for the Army or Tigre. Since he joined, all he saw was war, battles, blood, and hardship thanks to the internal war the erupted. As he continued on his life, he found that he couldn't live with a "simple life" outside the military. He became a "career soldier", making his way through the ranks of the military with help from winning battles against the rebels inside his own country, he soon found himself at or near the center of major events, even politics. Being forced to pick a side with the political figures within Tigre once the control of the country had shifted, Scytoruz decided to make his own side, one that focused on the rebuilding of Tigre and the removal of the rebel-plague that has started to take hold of Tigre. This choice made him a prime target of the Rebels due to the loyalty his troops had and show for him. Ever since the Prince of Dagron began to show his influence with the taking back of Tigre, Scytoruz has leaned slowly torwards the political threats that poisoned his Country, learned them, and has started to remove them, thou he still has his military brain and skill, and can be seen alongside the Prince of Dagron, following the Prince's lead, planning offensives against the rebels and on the battle field aswell.

Who are you?: Tigre Captain & Knight, Scy's Advisor/Apprentance

Personality: Quite, reserved, and a cold more often then not.. Talks planily unless pushed or angered. Knows her place at the side of Scy and within the military she serves. When around Scy, she stands at the ready, watching every move of everyone in the room or area but watches Scy more. She doesn't leave Scy's side unless he orders her to. While speaking to Scy, she shows that she is logical and collected, and ready to learn what he has to show or teach her. Sill has no true attraction to Scy, but she does like and respect him. She hates wielding a shield in combat or ceremony. She doesn't share a liking with Prince Deneos, and believes strongly that Dagron shouldn't help Tigre, thinking that Deneos is planning something more then simply "helping Tigre".

Backstory: Born from a military reach family, Sill was looked at as the next great military leader from her family, and thrusted into the teachings of military tactics and combat when she was a teen. She took the teaching with a grain of salt and told herself that it would pay off in the end when she was in a military possition so it could. When she became a soldier of Tigre, her family status kept her out of any true danger, but she has seen battle, getting a reputation of being a brutal fighter. As time went on, she was given the chance to learn from a general while serving as their personal guard, and she accepted. She is currently the personal guard and student of Scy even though she has different views then he, like accepting the help of Prince Deneos of Dagron with the taking back of Tigre and Tigre could handle this matter without any outside help.

Name: Helmine Azan

Nicknames: Hell (by her troops, behind her back, though she knows about it) Mina (by her family).

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Who are you? Tigre Cavalry Brigadier General

Personality: Helmine has three (figurative) faces. Serious, imposing and reserved when dealing with military and governmental officials; loud, encouraging, and also imposing when dealing with her troops; and one she shows to no one save her brother, and grandmother, now passed. Through these there exist a few constant traits she possesses: stubborn, opinionated, and surprisingly considerate.

Backstory: Born into a merchant family of good means but greater aspirations, her choices were the military or marriage, so she chose the former, and joined at the minimum required age. Thankfully for her family, her career has gone well so far, which allowed them greater purchase within the Tigre oligarchy. Her brother helps manage the business with her father, and her sister married into a largely influential family in Tigre - from what Helmine hears her family is considered social climbers by higher-ups. Or rather, were, apparently they’re liked more now after the uprising since their holdings and stocks were mostly unaffected - apparently they were not powerful enough to be targeted by the rebels and escaped mostly unscathed. As a brigadier general she was tasked with the ousting of the rebels, though due to her family connections -and to her dismay- her role subtly changed from being a soldier to being a mediator between the oligarchs and the cavalry. Helmine was actively involved in preparing for the entrance of the Dagron army led by the Prince of Dagron, whom she has not been acquainted with formally. She is mostly stuck travelling between the HQ and important army camps without actually leading battles.

Helmine rose through the ranks of the Tigre army with the so-called “Silver-Tongued Jaguar”. They were in military school together for several years until training became specialized for cavalry and footsoldiers. They have fought in many battles together, one of the most notable -to Helmine- being when she saved Scytoruz from being run-through with a spear. She is totally unaware that he saved her life in the one battle where she came closer to death than she ever has. She has always felt slightly inferior to him, and is jealous of his ability to finish assignments easily and exceedingly quickly. As Helmine hasn’t been out in the field much recently, she hasn’t had much interaction with him for a while.

Extra: Her horse is a grey destrier named Biraldo, nicknamed Biri. She is surprisingly good at embroidery, people often find petit-point embroidered napkins and kerchiefs left behind in camps wherever she has been in the field, though no one ever sees her embroidering them.

Who are you?: Sha personal body guard
Personality: Quiet, speaks little, and only opens up to a very selective few, dependable, very loyal, distastes ignorance.
Backstory: Was abandoned in the streets of Sha. Little is known to him of his parents and where he originated from, but rescued by a blade master when he was on the verge of starvation. The blade master raised the boy into a warrior like no other, teaching him the ways of the scythe. When he was 17 his mentor enrolled him in the Sha élite lasting several hours. In the end he was the last on standing and joined the élite and stationed under his mentors command. His mentor died beside him when a squad of Linos soldiers attacked an outpost in a forest near Sha. After that he was sent to Dagron to serve Deneos Palaris as he saw fit.

Extra: Carries a scythe that his mentor discovered in a ruin on an outpost raid.
He, has a limit when fighting and when he exceeds that limit he's arms become heavy and he is slowed when tired. He avoids going all out unless it is his last option.

Who am I: Squire of the Crown
Personality: Stubborn but sweet, she follows her orders well. Can be a little childish at times but always has the best interests of others at heart. She is secretive and shy, and can find it hard to make new friends. If provoked in battle she can be particularly violent, but holds the protection of the Crown, most of all the Prince above all else.
Backstory: Orginally from a noble family, she was to be sent to a girls finishing school like her older sister, however she managed to convinve her parents to let her join the Dagron forces as a Page. Having been recently promoted, she hopes to be picked as a Knights Squire who she can devote herself to. Recently her mother passed away, but she has told no one about this. Her feelings burn inside her, and she fears to let them out in case she hurts someone.

Extra: She is a very skilled archer and has won a few contests, not that she would brag about such a thing. She also uses a short sword and dagger if she needs to fight in close combat. She like to climb trees and in ruins, and can often be found in the trees of the Palace grounds. She can find it hard to express her emotions and bottles them up, this makes her a little standoffish and so she cries alone in her room some nights when she thinks no one is listening. Her loyalty to the Crown Prince is unswerving and she would die to protect him.

Backstory Tersh always knew of her healing gift and at a young age was exploited for it. Members of the old Tigre government found out and had her locked away until they or someone they loved need healing (in fear that she would be found out and the contry would be invaded and her stolen). Spending most of her time locked away, she practiced he healing on the random small animals that made their way into her prison-like home. It didn't take very long for her to figure out various ways to heal wounds of similar nature. Thou she was locked away, she was given some special treatment in the way of food and clothing. As the Rebels began to take control of most of Tigre, she was found. The Rebel's, seeing her for far more then just a simple healer, they trained her in hand to hand combat and the use of a sword. She was given more freedom then with the old Tigre, and allowed out of her prison-home during the day but always locked away once the sun started to set. Due to her status of healer with the Rebels, she was able to hear while healing one of their high ranking people that The Crown Prince Deneos Palaris of Dagron would soon be coming into Tigre,and thanks to the training she learned, she was able to use it against the Rebels, escaping, and finding her way to Deneos where she explained who she was, what she could do, and what has happened to her and became Deneos' personal healer.

The more magic he uses it drains him of stamina, physical conditioning is just as important as mastery of the magic.

Backstory : She was a mere slave, when once was saved by a powerful man. She was under the torture of Linos soldiers for her powers. She was saved by him, and at the same time she swears loyalty to him and those he serve. Her so-called birth of powers appear when she had eight years old. Her first target was the first boy that she puts her eyes on. Accidentally she left him without an arm, after she spot him hugging other girl.Little boy life was in danger, and he - with a little luck survived. But then he appeared, he was the only ray of hope that lighted her path. Layla had a new mission, a new desire and a new home. Once again, her little scratched heart fell for a man. It could be the admiration that made her fell for Deneos. The life she lives is not filled with romance, it's rather a boring one. Monotones activities, Layla doesn't want to escape from this route of life. Enjoy the simpliticy of wich she lives be. New persons she mets are only the ash of the fire for her eyes.

Who are you?: Tigre Major-General (Foot soldier on the battlefield)

Personality: A bit show-off-ish and has the ability to go off at the mouth to anyone that he doesn't like. He is one that just doesn't care what others think or feel about him. Scytoruz cuts corners whenever he sees fit, and due to this, the ones around him see him as either lazy, cold hearted, or genius. Always wants to get the job done as quickly as possible, no matter what happens. If doing something he doesn't like, he either argues about it to get out of doing it, or complains about it while he does it. Tends to be a smartalick with his words but does it in a simi-respectful manner. Even though he is seen as a self-centered jerk, his actions aren't who he truely is. He does think logically, is caring, and believes in honor, courage, and selflessness...he just thinks it's more entertaining to act this way.

Backstory: From the time he was of age, he became a soldier for the Army or Tigre. Since he joined, all he saw was war, battles, blood, and hardship thanks to the internal war the erupted. As he continued on his life, he found that he couldn't live with a "simple life" outside the military. He became a "career soldier", making his way through the ranks of the military with help from winning battles against the rebels inside his own country, he soon found himself at or near the center of major events, even politics. Being forced to pick a side with the political figures within Tigre once the control of the country had shifted, Scytoruz decided to make his own side, one that focused on the rebuilding of Tigre and the removal of the rebel-plague that has started to take hold of Tigre. This choice made him a prime target of the Rebels due to the loyalty his troops had and show for him. Ever since the Prince of Dagron began to show his influence with the taking back of Tigre, Scytoruz has leaned slowly torwards the political threats that poisoned his Country, learned them, and has started to remove them, thou he still has his military brain and skill, and can be seen alongside the Prince of Dagron, following the Prince's lead, planning offensives against the rebels and on the battle field aswell.

Scytoruz climbed the ladder within the Tigre Military alongside Helmine Azan until they split for specialty training, she took Calvary and Scy went with Infantry. Thou they weren't in the same military unit, they did serve in battle together many a time. In one of them, Helmine saved Scy from death by killing a individual that was going to run him through with a spear, which they both took note of. Yet, Helmine doesn't know that Scy returned the favor by killing someone that was coming up behind her. Scy eliminated the enemy soldier quickly that she never noticed. Due to recent events, he hasn't been around Helmine for a while, and has been alongside the Prince of Dagron mostly.

Extra: It is said that he can play the violin, when in his own private courters music can be heard coming from within, but he is never seen carrying or actually playing the instrument, nor is the instrument found within his room. (Yes he can play the Violin, he just doesn't want anyone to know that he has a "soft side")

Name: Silliloress Xansizi

Nickname: Sill (pronounced "seal")

Age: 25

Gender: Female

Who are you?: Tigre Captain & Knight, Scy's Advisor/Apprentance

Personality: Quite, reserved, and a cold more often then not.. Talks planily unless pushed or angered. Knows her place at the side of Scy and within the military she serves. When around Scy, she stands at the ready, watching every move of everyone in the room or area but watches Scy more. She doesn't leave Scy's side unless he orders her to. While speaking to Scy, she shows that she is logical and collected, and ready to learn what he has to show or teach her. Sill has no true attraction to Scy, but she does like and respect him. She hates wielding a shield in combat or ceremony. She doesn't share a liking with Prince Deneos, and believes strongly that Dagron shouldn't help Tigre, thinking that Deneos is planning something more then simply "helping Tigre".

Backstory: Born from a military reach family, Sill was looked at as the next great military leader from her family, and thrusted into the teachings of military tactics and combat when she was a teen. She took the teaching with a grain of salt and told herself that it would pay off in the end when she was in a military possition so it could. When she became a soldier of Tigre, her family status kept her out of any true danger, but she has seen battle, getting a reputation of being a brutal fighter. As time went on, she was given the chance to learn from a general while serving as their personal guard, and she accepted. She is currently the personal guard and student of Scy even though she has different views then he, like accepting the help of Prince Deneos of Dagron with the taking back of Tigre and Tigre could handle this matter without any outside help.

Title: The Violet Rider

Name: Helmine Azan

Nicknames: Hell (by her troops, behind her back, though she knows about it) Mina (by her family).

Age: 28

Gender: Female

Who are you? Tigre Cavalry Brigadier General

Personality: Helmine has three (figurative) faces. Serious, imposing and reserved when dealing with military and governmental officials; loud, encouraging, and also imposing when dealing with her troops; and one she shows to no one save her brother, and grandmother, now passed. Through these there exist a few constant traits she possesses: stubborn, opinionated, and surprisingly considerate.

Backstory: Born into a merchant family of good means but greater aspirations, her choices were the military or marriage, so she chose the former, and joined at the minimum required age. Thankfully for her family, her career has gone well so far, which allowed them greater purchase within the Tigre oligarchy. Her brother helps manage the business with her father, and her sister married into a largely influential family in Tigre - from what Helmine hears her family is considered social climbers by higher-ups. Or rather, were, apparently they’re liked more now after the uprising since their holdings and stocks were mostly unaffected - apparently they were not powerful enough to be targeted by the rebels and escaped mostly unscathed. As a brigadier general she was tasked with the ousting of the rebels, though due to her family connections -and to her dismay- her role subtly changed from being a soldier to being a mediator between the oligarchs and the cavalry. Helmine was actively involved in preparing for the entrance of the Dagron army led by the Prince of Dagron, whom she has not been acquainted with formally. She is mostly stuck travelling between the HQ and important army camps without actually leading battles.

Helmine rose through the ranks of the Tigre army with the so-called “Silver-Tongued Jaguar”. They were in military school together for several years until training became specialized for cavalry and footsoldiers. They have fought in many battles together, one of the most notable -to Helmine- being when she saved Scytoruz from being run-through with a spear. She is totally unaware that he saved her life in the one battle where she came closer to death than she ever has. She has always felt slightly inferior to him, and is jealous of his ability to finish assignments easily and exceedingly quickly. As Helmine hasn’t been out in the field much recently, she hasn’t had much interaction with him for a while.

Extra: Her horse is a grey destrier named Biraldo, nicknamed Biri. She is surprisingly good at embroidery, people often find petit-point embroidered napkins and kerchiefs left behind in camps wherever she has been in the field, though no one ever sees her embroidering them.
