History
Peranawi Kaguya Trazzo was born in Cardiff, Wales to a Japanese mother (Shinobu Yagokoro) and an Italian-American father (Clarence Augustus Trazzo). Peranawi didn’t have the lavish life she did now. Peranawi was raised under a roof of plain civilians who didn’t have money for things her family needed. As a result, Peranawi had a tough time coping with her parents. Peranawi was taught Japanese when she turned five years old. Peranawi couldn’t trust the livelihood of Cardiff. On the side she lived, there was a great string of robberies and other heinous crimes.
Peranawi forced herself sometimes to smile and live her life for the best. However, she had the nerve to complain about not having enough money for Christmas shopping. Sometimes, Shinobu would not have enough money to even cook Ramen for the water bills were up to the roof. As a result, Clarence went to get himself a job. According to Peranawi, Clarence’s interview with a previous manager of a diner went well. After that, Peranawi saw her father with the documents to own the dining place.
Clarence had a great talent in cooking, and opened up a restaurant called “La Tana dei Dolci”. This was Italian for “The Lair of Sweets.” Peranawi was at school or practicing Tae-Kwon-Do with her mother when she turned eight. Clarence made huge profits at his restaurant and always had ladies to serve exotic foods at the tables. Peranawi began to enjoy her father’s cooking, but eventually grew tired of the pools of money left over. With Clarence’s profits, Shinobu was able to get enough money to pay off all of her collecting bills, which made life easier for her.
When Peranawi was at school, by the time Clarence bought “La Tana dei Dolci”, she had a decreasing number of friends, for she would rather not talk about her father’s work. Nearly all the school kids wanted her father to “cook for them”. When Peranawi denied their offers, she would usually reply, “The elly-fant killed him.” Peranawi otherwise did a wonderful job at getting straight A’s (the exception was a B- in Mathematics). When she was eight, Shinobu gave birth to a boy she named Tenchi Frederick Trazzo.
Peranawi failed at keeping long-term relationships (except with a homeless man named Forrest). Peranawi and Forrest took care of each other. Peranawi sometimes ran from her school to buy lunch for Forrest. When Shinobu found out about Peranawi’s “truancy”, Shinobu was forced to drive Peranawi to school. By the time Forrest and Peranawi got in a long-term relationship, Peranawi had the courage to take the man in.
On a rainy Valentine’s Day, Peranawi wanted the man to feel welcome to her home. That day, Peranawi allowed the man to walk with her to her house. Clarence was at home at the time as he was taking a break. When he saw his daughter come in with the man, he nearly fainted.Clarence: “What did you do now, Ran? Who the HELL is this bloke?”Peranawi: *shrugs*Clarence: [Angry as he slams down his spatula] “Where did he come from?”Peranawi: “In the street.”Shinobu: [comes and points finger at Peranawi] “DAME! He can’t stay in this house! He is unclean!”Peranawi: “His name is Forrest. He’s homeless. He’s been locked away in shelters for years. Can we keep him... even if it may be for a month?”Clarence: “I’ve got customers.”Peranawi: “... can I keep him?” [tears form in her eyes]Shinobu: [looks and then shakes her head] “Fine, just make sure he gets new clothes.”
With success, Peranawi was able to keep Forrest custody while he was with his new family. Forrest immediately felt accepted into his new home. Seeing that Forrest had a great education, Clarence allowed Forrest to act like a legal guardian, picking the girl up from school while Clarence and Shinobu worked at the restaurant.
When Peranawi was 12, she went to a thrift shop called “Scare Me!” with a school friend (Tristi). The store had lots of utilities that appealed to Lolita and Wiccan styles. Peranawi found the owner of the shop reading a spell book with a nightcap on. Peranawi asked if there were any feathers for her friend. Tristina Mary Banks was known to having a weird “Thing” for feathers, including bird feathers.
Then, Peranawi looked for something new, but found something Tristi really wanted. As it cost over 700 £ ($ 1,200), she couldn’t get it during their visit. The thing Tristi wanted was a life-sized marble peacock with a red ruby on its center. While Peranawi looked at it, she looked into its jewel, but immediately felt a flash to her eyes. As the flash took place, she accidentally knocked it over.
Unfortunately, with no time to grab anything, the marble peacock broke in pieces. The male began shouting to her “peacock time!” (Really stated [Latin]: “Pavo Vicis!”) This turned Peranawi to a peahen for an hour before she turned back to a human. After some thought, Peranawi knew that it was a punishment for knocking over the marble peacock, but she had no intention on becoming a peahen.
She HATED the punishment since it was round her best friend’s “thing”. Another reason was that Peranawi was allergic to the dust in the shop. She did not like being holed up in “Scare Me!” for that reason. As Peranawi was too weak to get up, she went to sleep in the shop. During her slumber, the man in the shop tattooed the girl a miniature peacock on her left arm. When Peranawi woke up, she felt the sting of alcohol on her arm. The man was cleaning off the blood from the tattoo application.
When Peranawi woke up, the man told her that she was cursed with the Cluck. He told her that it was all in her body, and she needed to sneeze thrice or say, “Pavo Vicis!” (“Peacock Time!”) to turn to a peahen. As ordered from Shinobu, Peranawi was given kunoichi lessons to perfect her skills as a newly cursed peahen.
After Peranawi learned enough information, she was allowed to go alone at 15. When going to the Scare Me! shop once more, Peranawi was given the red jewel and was told to rub it with both hands. She did so and felt something tingling in her hands. She made her hand to a claw and was able to form a ball of electricity with it. This was how she got her powers of electricity. As Peranawi would be sheltered, she had the urge to run back home. Little did she know, her speed would be accelerated as well. Even though the shop was ten miles from her house, she was able to make it just four minutes.
Shocked, Shinobu wanted to know where she was all the time. Forrest looked lonely, so Peranawi wanted to go with him. Clarence allowed Forrest to go with her to the city as long as she and Forrest lived together. Shinobu wanted her daughter to see her sometimes as she took care of Tenchi. Once Peranawi agreed, she was given 500 £ ($1,000) to get whatever she wanted. On their way to the edge of town, she saw a school that allowed only people of her kind. She was taken to the school when they found of her extraordinary powers.
Likes
Peranawi likes peacocks, anime, bubble gum, reading books, Pocky, feathered fans, her long nails, and she enjoys her powers of electricity. As she can run very fast, she likes to run and battle with others. It also seems that Peranawi has a thing for boots--combat boots. Peranawi also enjoys going to Scare me! to prank the shop owner. She is very fond of her family and Forrest.
Dislikes
Peranawi dislikes her past life, and she doesn’t like Ramen (that comes out the package). Peranawi also dislikes others following her around. Peranawi also dislikes the rude commentary about Forrest and what he loves. She also dislikes British pop-stars, for she thinks they are too flashy and absurd.
Combat type
Peranawi often duels with peacock feather Tessens (usually one or two if for a long time) and uses complex gymnastic moves (back flips, somersaults, etc.) Some call her “the Kunoichi from Above”. Peranawi can also use her electricity and her quick speed for her attacks.
Abilities
Peranawi has the power of Soul’s Call. She can use her trill singing to call forth three of her pet peacocks (Jesus, Drake, and Arthur) to attack her enemies. This ability can also work on other animals, but she has to be in an area in where animals are fairly populated. This cannot work on animals that are deaf.
As a female peafowl, Peranawi has the ability to turn into a peahen for an hour. Peranawi either has to sneeze three times (at least once a minute for it to count), or calling forth two Latin spells: “By the trees, and by the rocks of the rainbow feather. Shall I be crowned to see another day of winged freedom.” ("Per silvas et saxa arcus pinna. Ales diei ornatus videre ero libertatem.") She can also say “Peacock Time!” (“Pavo Vicis!”) To change back, Peranawi has to sneeze three more times, or simply sleep in a protected area. Because of the first way to change to a peacock (sneezing), she may have accidental transformations. There is a way to control that by touching Peranawi’s naked skin to her tattoo (on her left arm). However, she has to rub the tattoo to break the Human-stature spell at a given time. If Peranawi chants the Latin spell during the spell barrier, the Latin spell will not take effect unless if she (gently) rubs the tattoo.
Peranawi also has the ability of electricity and speed. Peranawi can run very fast, gaining first place in nearly every Varsity championship. Peranawi also has the power to cause sparks of electricity in her hands and in her fans. As electricity causes the fire, she can also control some flames (the ones she lit up manually or by electricity). She can also manipulate flames she caused by electricity or by a mundane match. Sometimes, when sick, she may destroy electronics and cause lightning to randomly strike by the charge built up in her hands.
Other info
Peranawi has allergies to dust, pollen and peanuts (when consumed). Peranawi also likes to sing.
