Given the sheer number of participants that seem to be immortal, I'm not sure how useful bullets are to begin with.

That does bring up an interesting idea, though. All the RPA players or a character of their choice in a battle royale/melee thread might be sort of entertaining. Mad, but entertaining.

Bulletproof doesn't always mean bulletproof.
Your umbrella is only going to take so many hits of any caliber in any given spot.
a few 30.06 rounds from a good sniper will do a number to the umbrella. And something that thin might only be able to take 1 shot before it's useless.
