Foods being hot is a mental reaction to a compound that you're brain doesn't completely know how to deal with, so it goes with heat.
It's all in your head. Even though it may feel like something other than that is happening, it's all just in your head.

Finally got around to starting GSG. Only two episodes in, so I don't have any definitive opinions yet, but I'm enjoying it well enough so far.

I'd love to participate, but my muse has always been extraordinarily fickle. I'm very bad at forcing myself to write when I'm not feeling inspired, which is usually the case for prompts. I'll still cast a wandering eye over the events and see if anything sparks, but no promises.
