Name: Katherine (Cheshire’s often don’t have last names). Though Cheshire cats rarely if ever give out their real names, so most people simply refer to all of the Cheshire species as Cheshire, Cat, Ms Cat, Mr Cheshire, ect.
D.O.B: Appears to be around 19 years old in age but due to the feline’s ability of eternal youth they fail to age past a certain point growing madder as time spans onward. Truly Katherine is over 50 years of age, of course she stopped counting.
Gender: The only way to tell a Cheshire apart while they are in feline form is to listen to the sound of their voice. Cheshire’s generally look androgynous when in a feline form but indeed Katherine is female.

Eyes: Katherine’s eyes that seem like too nearly vertical bright yellow slits.
Complexion: Her fur is a brilliant and bright purple coloring for the base of her fur, this of course matches with the bright almost neon fuchsia colored stripes along her back that extend into her beautiful fluffy tail. The stripes are also located running down each leg stopping just a bit short before reaching the base of her paws, the exotic designs also partially adorn her face and ears only a few as if they were face paint. The pads of her paws are the same fuchsia color as the stripes on her back.
Height: When sitting on her hind legs Katherine stands at about two and a half feet tall much larger then any common housecat not that you would mistake her for one.
Weight: Katherine in this form weights in at about 35 lb
Build: Katherine in her usual feline form has an unusually slender body, though not so skinny you could see bones simply sleek and thin as if that is her natural shape. Katherine’s tail almost seems bigger then her own body due to the fluffy trait. Katherine has been gifted with the trait of having large ears, ones that stand almost perfectly straight and parallel to each other. You would notice they are protected by a small bit of fluff just around the base of her ears. Her face is slender and sly looking always holding the trademarked Cheshire grin, whiskers long and outstretched to the world.
Scars/Birthmarks: The stripes that adorn her body.

Hair: Her hair reaches about her lower back in length and has a slight wavy like quality to it; and light lavender in color. It frames her face quite well with the bangs and layers around her face. The hair has a mild wave or curl to it, seeming slightly tousled and messy. Despite this it looks beautiful in a way.
Eyes: Katherine’s eyes are a mysterious golden color and often reflect light in darkness making them appear fluorescent.
Complexion: Her skin is a peach color in complexion, with pinkish cheeks to make her seem all the more natural.
Height: Katherine stands at 5’6 from the soles of her feet to the tips of her ears (yes I said ears
Weight: While it is not very lady like to give away your weight lets just say she is a hair over a hundred lbs.
Build: Her body type is an hourglass, not too large nor too tall to make it seem strange in figure. The hour glass figure is actually caused by her small waist, her legs have a night shape to them and Katherine has a petit heart shaped rear that is often showed off in her outfits. Sadly though her chest leaves a bit to be desired as it is not as appealing as her rear though that does not mean it is flat just small; which is fine for her.
Birthmarks/Distinguishing features: Her cat ears rest atop her head the same fluff that protects them normally stays in this form and it is light pink in color. Katherine also has a long tail that can easily wrap around her waist one and a half due to its length its fur color is the same as her hair. Her smile is often a large and toothy grin that is the normal trademarked Cheshire smile. However though this is her natural smile she can be more delicate at times.
Attire: The outfit in which she normally appears in is a striped mini dress that stops mid-thigh and fastens around her neck much like a modern day halter top. The stripes are colored in dark pink and fuchsia, the fastening device on her neck looks like a leather purple collar. Katherine wears matching stripped arm covers they are held to her arms by three leather bands on her biceps, in the same color as the collar around her neck. The arm bands flare outward and end just above her finger tips, the area that covers part of her hand is actually made of pink lace like material. That same material can be found at the top of her arm covers. She wears color matching boots that extended to about her knees, intricate designs running up the front of her boots; Katherine also wears pink stockings that peek out above her boots with the same lace material at the top of the stocking.

Likes: She loves bright or vivid colors and is often attracted to them. Katherine also loves to be the center of attention. She absolutely adores new people, approaching them without a second thought in mind. As long as they are obviously not in alliance with the Red Queen that is. Laughter is another thing she loves, whether it is because of her tricks or simply madness; laughter is always welcomed.
Dislikes: As strange as it may seem she dislikes talking to crazy people (Of course she does not consider herself mad). Water is never the funniest things for a cat, neither are dogs of any sort.
Habits: Speaking to speak in rhyme, or use a sing-songy voice is one of the most nerve noted habits about Katherine. Appearing in strange or unusual places and acting as if it is perfectly normal. Katherine also seems to confuse people often, either through her own riddles or her disappearances.
Strengths: She is extremely agile, flexible, and has great sense of balance. Katherine knows wonderland like the back of her paw, its simply second nature. If she were to go somewhere else she would want to investigate every corner.
Weaknesses: Cheshires can’t breed unless they are in their true form this is because in any other form they lack the well items needed. If you know her name her name she is forced to come any time her real name is sounded. Not physically very strong.
Special talents: Unlike other cheshires who have issues with taking on made up personas, Katherine thinks of this as her specialty. (Just the same if she mimics a real person the eyes are never right)
Individuality |
Personality: Katherine despite all of the issues she has faced with the Red Queen is fairy fun. She does not laugh constantly but prefers to speak in riddles and vanish frequently. She is kind and usually will help those out who enter wonderland. That does not mean she will show them her true form. Some of her best friends in the world are the mad hatter and the March hare. Katherine is always willing to help in a fight or plan being a rather brave young Cheshire. She is also excellent at scheming and trickery; hardly anything can get her mad or make her hate someone.
Biography: Katherine’s brother as well as fiancé were killed by the wrath of the red queen, at this point she has two remaining family members left; her mother and younger sister. Katherine herself tries to visit both of them in an effort to make sure where they live is safe, and free from the tyrannical rule of the Red Queen. However there are many matters to which Katherine must attend to, not the least of which is making sure the pompous Red Queen looses her thrown. At the current moment Katherine has taken up residence in the forest almost always in her feline form she taunts the minions of the Queen, tempting fate as it were. They are often stupid and simply loose track of the feline after a while.
~~Katherine’s mother live in hiding she is at least twice Katherine’s age. Her persona she created was Aburdeen the seamstress she is currently living in Ashlyn’s kingdom watching out for signs of the Queen while she earns the favor of the dancing princess by making her glorious gowns. Katherine visits her mother periodically with the persona of her son knowing that it is strange for women to travel alone. Checking up on his sweet old mother and wishing her the best of luck in his travels as a merchant.
~~Katherine’s youngest sister also remains alive and well, she has taken the persona of a beggar child by the name of Violet in the kingdom ruled by Aurora. She manages fairly well and will often sneak into the underground system under the kingdom. This is where she meets of with Katherine and Katherine often supplies her younger sibling with barter and food that can sustain her until she visits next. When Katherine is in the underground she lets her sister see her true form to make sure it is not some trick to harm her.
Base Tale: The Cheshire cat is often seen in the story book Alice in the adventures of wonderland. Alice first encounters the Cheshire Cat at the Duchess's house in her kitchen, and then later outside on the branches of a tree, where it appears and disappears at will, engaging Alice in amusing but sometimes vexing conversation. The cat sometimes raises philosophical points that annoy or baffle Alice. It does, however, appear to cheer her up when it turns up suddenly at the Queen of Hearts' croquet field, and when sentenced to death baffles everyone by having made its head appear without its body, sparking a massive argument between the executioner and the King and Queen of Hearts about whether something that does not have a body can indeed be beheaded.At one point, the cat disappears gradually until nothing is left but its grin, prompting Alice to remark that she has often seen a cat without a grin but never a grin without a cat.
Base Character: Cheshire Cat from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
Retelling: After Alice left the first time from wonderland all chaos broke loose. The Red Queen was in an uproar and made it her new task to take over all of wonderland, enslaving the people and soon trying to concur neighboring lands. The Cheshire race are the riddle telling warning systems of the kingdoms, with their abilities they could easily warn everyone before the Red Queen would have time to make her move. It didn’t matter to her that most people can’t understand a Cheshire’s riddles. They were simply too much of a threat.
So, they were hunted down. At this point the race is on the brink of extinction the few that are left have went into hiding or have used their powers to blend in with normal society. Casting the illusion that they are simple town folk; taking on new personas to escape from prosecution. Even then they are still subjected to the Queens wrath just in a different manner. If they are captured they must start a new persona and new life somewhere else, escaping with there powers of disappearance, at least if they manage to have enough energy to do so while living as a mere human, with the limited supplies in certain areas.
So the race lies in wait for Alice to return once more and hopefully overpower the queen. It is foretold that on the Frabjous Day the red queen’s and white queen’s armies shall face off for one final time to decided the true ruler over wonderland. Alice will then face in combat with the Red Queens most powerful foe, the jabawalky. If Alice chooses to fight then wonderland’s rule will return to the white queen, the races no longer living in torment and fear. But if she is to loose….the Red Queen will eventually take over all of the kingdoms, even past wonderland.
Original Resident or Replacement?: Original resident of the madness
Powers/Magic Items/Weapons: Cheshire’s as a general rule are masters of trickery, riddles, and games. The usually posses the ability to disappear and of course re-appear elsewhere; this ability however can only be used on the Cheshire themselves and nothing else. Due to the nature of the ability as it lies in both dimension and illusion Cheshire’s can also do things that seem to be magic. Such as detach body parts and be perfectly fine (even making certain body parts disappear in strange orders) this is done through illusion abilities. Again this can only be used on the Cheshire themselves. Cheshire’s can appear as various objects, people (Usually a fake person they take to avoid showing their real form), or items at certain times though this skill is high ranked in Cheshire society. All abilities again for a Cheshire are based upon illusion and dimensional magic that can only be applied to the user of said magic meaning the Cheshire. Though Cheshire’s posses eternal youth so that there energy does not deplete with age as well as agility; they are not in fact immoral.
