I've been working on a survival role play idea and would like some more feedback.
A yacht or cruise ship on its way to Alaska hits a water mine an crashes into a small island just off the coast of Alaska. The boat is equipped to survive for a short time. Unknown to the shipwrecked crew an illegal privately ran or government ran biological weapons facility is based on the island. Many of the biologicals are "leaking" out of the facility. The players may play as either a faculty member(max of four security guards) trying to either contain or cover up the weapons. I haven't decided which. Now keep in mind, if they are covering up a timeline will be put in place to countdown when the island would be blasted off the face of the planet. The government would easily follow this protocol.
The shipwreck crew will be surviving the forces of nature, man, experiments to include: chimera(like full metal alchemist), a few zombies, and mutant beings.
I think that is all I've got. Oh wait, private cooperation are more inclined to panic, falter in security procedures, chain of command break down. Goverment run would be less likely for the above to occur.
Please help me flush this idea out. I need feedback for ideas and even criticism. If I decide to make the facility government run I will try to make protocol as realistic as possible.
