1) Follow all RPA rules. No Godmoding. I know I allowed a lot of freedom, but please limit your character, besides, no one likes a character who can do it all.
2) Rated M for a Reason. Even though this is a Mature RP, and it consists of fantasy elements, I don’t want cyber-sex to be the main focus on this RP. Please, keep it to only kissing if it gets that far; however, if you want to go over kissing, take it to PM and fade the scene to black in the IC. Cursing is allowed, violence is allowed, and blood and gore is allowed.
3) No Powerplaying. Only NPCs can be controlled by other people; however, you CANNOT control someone else’s character unless they allow it. Sometimes a little control is needed to prevent godmoding, but don’t go over that thin line. I want you to be aware that your NPC can die at the hands of another character with or without your permission.
4) Be Fair. If you have a dispute with someone, PM them, and PM me about it and we will get it fixed. Do not take on the role of GM, I am the GM and I will see to it that things are fair; however, I will not penalize you for helping in any way, just don’t become belligerent with other people if they break a rule or do something you don’t like. All issues should be forwarded to me so that I can handle them efficiently.
5) Realism. Keep it where it belongs. Remember, this is a fantasy RP, but it is also a mature RP. Things in this RP will not have the same properties it would in realistic RPs, so keep those ideas separate. Now, I’ve not totally outlawed realism, for affection and what not is realistic. Your characters actions do have consequences. What your character does will shape the world around them. If you attack a creature far more powerful than your character, your character can either be injured or killed determined by your character’s actions and reactions.
6) Requirements. I want dedicated RPers to join. If you know that you’re going to drop or don’t have time, please don’t join. Type at least a paragraph or two for each IC post. Be able to post a couple times a week. Quality over Quantity, remember that. If you are going to be gone for a while, inform me as to the reason why and I’ll play your character for you. To ensure that you’ve read the rules, please put your favorite currently airing tv show in the “Other” slot on the character sheet. If you don’t watch tv, then put your favorite thing in the “Other” slot on the character sheet.
7) I reserve the right to change, edit and add rules at any time.
8) Please, above all else, HAVE FUN!! If you have a plot idea, run it by me and I will definitely talk it over with you and see if we can incorporate it. I do want everyone to make it fun. It is up to you if you have fun here or not.
