Videl watched the others fight from her position on the stairs. She was just about to where the stairs she was on met a set of stairs on the ceiling. She glanced at Haru and noted her eyes shut. Stopping on the third stair of the set on the roof she raised her voice to more than loud enough for the other girl to hear her as she pushed her hanging hair out of her eyes, “HARU!! OPEN YOUR EYES AND FIGHT! YOU CAN’T HIT WHAT YOU CANT SEE GIRLY. HELP YOUR TEAMMATES, OPEN YOUR EYES!!!” Positive that her words would reach Haru one way or the other she continued along the stairs. About halfway across the stairway disappeared and she fell. She sighed as she changed to her magical form and used her scythe to right herself. As she fell through a flock of crows in the process of turning into a harpy, she cut it down and landed lightly on her feet. She looked up to watch the stairway fade back into existence then looked at the door thoughtfully. There had to be a way to get to it. She was going to find it, she wanted to know what’s on the other side. Ignoring the birds and the fighting going on she went to another set of stairs and started her way up once more.

“Zeek changed Skye. It’s highly probable that the team that is known as Neimeth may need help. He made a very powerful witch and I am not sure if the three left can handle it. I’d like you to go and see how they do. And if they want, I want you to take over team leader if Liam does not wish to take it. They could use your link to Chiara. Making a pact between those two teams would be a benefit to both. Go and see how they are doing, if they want help, help them. And join the team.” He spoke to her mind quietly and flicked the tip of his tale, dropping the knowledge of where the remnants of team Niemeth could be found. He then started to fade away. He knew Skye would do as he asked.

Anger and hatred burned through the witch that was once a boy who was once human. It hated the intruders causing it pain through the pieces of its self. It began to call them back and reabsorb them. It took back the strength it had given them, took back the bodies it gave them, and took back disease it had put into them. It rose up to its full oozing height and howled its anger. Out of its mouth came a spray of black, sure death to all it touched. The blackness rotted away the roof above the witch and some of the walls. It would kill these intruders with rot and disease or it would die trying. Only its mind didn’t understand that. Its mind had rotted away shortly after it came into existence. It knew pain, it knew rage, and it knew what had caused these feelings. The way to it was clear, now it would wait, its anger causing more of its body to boil, and with every pop of its apparent skin, more of the room either rotted away from the blackness that came from the sores or was covered with more infectious diseases. The room itself was almost a death trap. Soon the entire Labyrinth would be so.
