Weeeell, I was going to have it as what with all this big bad spirit trying to murder everything, they put aside the whole trying to make him properly dead thing with the more pressing concern of oh crap, its a murder spirit.
And as he's still on that world thats getting murdered, he doesn't see it as a good thing to not try and stop the thing and prevent himself being murdered with all the other things.

Well, he can be a villain I guess, and be added as an extra sorta faction, with the Reapers, Big Bad Spirit, and my guy.

However we're going to be focusing in on the "heroes" in the story. You could infiltrate but Kato would smell a necromancer from a mile away since souls are his business.
I just don't see how to incorporate your character into the story.
Well, how much of honour before reason do these reapers have?
Are they such stubborn fools that they'd chase down a necromancer trying to prevent the end of the known world?
They may be willing to come to a temporary truce.
Thats what I've been saying this entire time, and applying reason to it.
