On a certain evening in a certain secondary all-girls' school of magic full of vampires, werewolves, demons, and various other supernatural creatures, a certain wizard conducted a certain forbidden ritual. In this ritual, his time stream was divided in half, leaving two exact copies of himself. If one were to ask him which was the original and which was, even the mage himself wouldn't be able to answer, as the forbidden ritual wasn't so simple.

After curfew had befallen and the girls had all gone to sleep, the wizard headed down into the garden, in order to rendezvous with one of the students. Young though she was, the girl had fallen for him quite deeply, which is something that shouldn't have been possible for a demon such as her, yet due to her unique circumstances, had indeed taken place.

And so, the mage stood alone, impatiently waiting to run off and elope with a much younger girl, as she too had made his way into his heart with her innocent, adorable nature and beautiful, shapely body.... the kind that drove men crazy, for that was the very nature of a succubus, was it not?

Kara had pulled her long ash blonde hair into a bun and had pulled out a white sundress out of coincidence. She had tried so not to not fall for the only male professor at the academy but he had done so much for her that she couldn't help but feel that way for him. After she packed, she slipped out the window and made her way to the garden, her blue-green eyes locking on the mage. The succubus made her way to him and wrapped her arms around him. "Dan... she whispered, giving him a tender kiss.

"Are you ready?" She was eager to see the world and be with her beloved. She would like to eventually settle down with him and she was more than happy to do whatever it took to stay with him. "How are you able to leave with me?"

As the adorable young succubus came out to greet him, the mage wrapped his arms around her, squeezing her tightly and returning her kiss. "I'm ready," he said, wrapping an arm around her waist and holding her close as he made his way away from the school. "I'm a wizard," he said, figuring this should be enough of an explanation for why he was able to take her away so easily, "And I used magic."

His hand rubbing her hip, he held her close, heading off in the direction of the village. Much as he found her demonic features to be adorable, the human population wouldn't be nearly so inclined to agree with him. "Your tail is adorable," he said, squeezing and tugging on it, "But humans have a fear of demons. As a succubus, you should be able to take on the shape of a human girl in order to blend in. Also, if you want to call me by a different name from now on... feel free to do so. Dan is just the name I used while teaching at your school," he remarked, stroking her hair softly and kissing her neck.

"But what kind?" she asked him, becoming curious as to why he was being vague. She playfully had her tail whip away from his hand before he told her to shift. Nodding, she quickly shifted into a human form she had used before, she looked the same except for the lack of her demonic appearance and the sudden appearance of dragon tattoos on her left leg, upper arms, and directly on her crotch which the mage wouldn't be able to see unless he stripped her. "I somehow got these when I was in this form, so they're stuck." Her only guess as to why her tattoos didn't transfer to her normal form was that it hadn't really transferred to that form.

"But... can't I call you Dan still?" She was sure he wouldn't be too thrilled with the names she could give him. "Don't you have a real name?" Holding his hand, she rested her head on his arm as they walked to the village, her large duffle bag slung over her back.

"The forbidden kind," said the mage, gently poking the girl's nose. "Which means it's not something I can really talk about." Watching her shift, he admired her human form, gazing at her and the dragon tattoos on her body. "Fascinating," he remarked, sliding his hand over them to feel them. "They're magical in nature... it seems they convert your magical energy into physical power. Essentially, in this form... you lose most of your ability to use magic, but your ability to wield a weapon improves greatly. You could potentially shift to your demon form in order to use spells... quite versatile, in fact. You might need to learn how to fight on our travels, as we live in dangerous times"

Squeezing her, he noted the large bag that she carried, and handed her a small magical pouch that was bigger on the inside. "You can put your duffel bag in that," he remarked. "It'll be much easier to carry that way." Squeezing her hand, he said, "If you still want to call me Dan you can, but you don't have to. I've gone by several names in my time, and each of them could be considered as real as the next."

Nodding, Kara allowed Dan to slide his hands over her tattoos. She nodded as she listened to him speak, though most of it went in one ear and out the other. "I had a greatsword at one point, but that got taken away when I was sent off to school." She immediately shoved her bag into the pouch before tenderly wrapping it around her hips. "I like calling you Dan," she told him. "But what's so dangerous about the world?"

She had nothing to fear as long as she was with her mage. But another thought popped into her head. "May I call you Daniel? I can always call you Dan, too." Kissing his nose, she looked ahead for a moment. "Where are we going?"

The mage chuckled at how Kara pretended to understand what he said, though it didn't really seem to hold. Honestly, she wasn't really qualified to be a mage, as it took an exceptional amount of intelligence that Kara seemed to lack. But that didn't affect how much he cared for her, for she still had an adorable, loving heart, and that was what really counted to him.

"We'll get you a greatsword at some point," he remarked, amused at the idea of such a tiny girl swinging around such a huge sword. Comical though it seemed, her tattoos would indeed augment her strength to the point where she would be able to handle such a large sword, but there was no huge rush on it, as the shops were currently closed in town. "We'll also need to get you some new clothes," he said. "Or do you have some civilian clothing, aside from your uniform? Though the uniform is super cute, it would stick out in town..."

"I don't mind if you call me Daniel," he said with a shrug. "Or if you keep calling me Dan. Whatever you like, my beautiful Kara." He gave her a kiss as he reached out towards her nonexistent tail before eventually settling his hand on the small of her back where the tail would normally be.

"I have some clothes in my bag," she said. "Mom insisted that I'd have different outfits at school in case I was able to go out with friends." She was slightly uneasy about leaving the academy still but at least it was with Dan. Well, the white dress she had on was technically part of her uniform though it didn't have the academy's emblem on it. "I can call you by both, if you want." She happily took his kiss as his hand settled on the small of her back.

"So where are we going first?" She hadn't been to this town yet, and already she wanted to go see what was there.

"That's good to hear," said the mage, nodding at Kara. It was good that she would have something to wear. It was quite dark outside, so the chances of her getting spotted on the way in to town were rather slim, so he wasn't particularly worried about it. "Feel free," he said, continuing to rub her, gazing at the girl and kissing her cheek.

"Well, it's late, so our first stop will be the inn," the mage remarked. "We'll stay the night, and then continue our journey in earnest tomorrow morning." Walking her in to town, he indeed stopped by the inn first, getting a room for the two of them. Escorting the succubus up to the room, he locked the door behind her, gazing at her and gently leading her towards the bed.

"Ohh... I haven't stayed at an inn for a while!" she told him excitedly. She wanted to explore it, though it seemed that Dan was ready to go to their room, so she followed behind him. As he locked the door behind her, she giggled as she let him lead her to the bed... at least for the first few steps. She quickly darted away, giggling and running all over the room. "You can't get me!" she said, going from one corner to another.

Kara knew what he wanted, and she wanted to at least have him chase her a little before he could do so. She hadn't shifted back to her normal form, so she didn't risk accidentally hurting her wings or tail. "You can't get me!" she said again, sliding over the bed and making her way to the closet.
