Pretty much, the drive from Seattle to Spokane is a bunch of trees, Ritzville, more trees then Spokane.
And they're all evergreens.

Swapping back to night shift has been brutal, but hopefully it'll leave me with a little more free time in the long run.

It does seem to be so hard to hold onto another to roleplay with. I mean, I get that it might not work, I want to roleplay enough that I would generally go on with all that I can contribute, but there was one thread anyway in which whatever I did I could not have another's character react or respond to my character, so there was no interaction to roleplay with, I just couldn't stay with that. But I just lose them repeatedly, to some other thing, and hardly get anywhere with role-playing with another. It is no wonder I spend more time on here just writing by myself. 😞

This thread did not need my rare posts, once I was hardly here it got busy again anyway. I do like my writing and enjoyed others participating with me in writing. It just hasn't been mutual, and those telling me they are interested don't turn out to be. And so things grow less worthwhile with the perspective here.

I love them in theory, but I can never actually bring myself to part with my precious books. Maybe one day I'll work up the courage, or find a title that tempts me enough.
