Harvard offers a range of free online courses through their EDX program. They are short term, and very affordably certifiable, too (though just taking the course for the knowledge is free). Just in case that is of interest to anyone.

They span over a good few different subjects, some of those being computer programming, art and literature, architecture, business, neuroscience, etc.

I believe they put up new courses every quarter.

Less than a week until I go overseas for the first time, and less than two weeks until I officially own my first apartment.

Its going to be one hell of a month.

I'm off to Fiji with my partner. We'll be staying at a resort but have a couple of mainland trips planned too.

In any case, thank you kindly. Trying to actually adult should be an interesting experience, but I guess everyone else manages it, so it must be doable.

My county health officer has gone full retard. For the rest of the month, over two million people in my county alone will be disenfranchised, unable to go to work or school, and forced to take a two week unpaid vacation over a virus that has, so far, afflicted less than one tenth of that number on a global scale, and killed less than one in twenty thousand people across my country, and zero in the county where this takes place.

The funniest part is that the airport (the main thing that should be quarantined) is exempt from this policy, as it provides too much money to the county. Everyone under 40 that has to work for a living? Eh, screw them, says the health officer.
