THE WORLD
The world is dealt into 4 major super powers, and one minor faction, these consisting of:
United States (US).
European Union (EU).
Federation of Australia (FAU).
Asian Union (AU).
Middle-east, Arctic Regions, Eastern Russia, all Islands (Minor Faction).
THE PLOT
The year is 2015, and the world is on the brink of change. Humans live lives they always have, politics, trades, wars and what not, but what the average man and woman doesn't know, is that the world is full of paranormal and inhuman beings. Beings that have been on the world longer than the dinosaurs and are now only first emerging from the depths of Earth itself.
The story follows a small selected group of agents that work for a company known only as LPIC, or Lente Paranormal Investigation Company. Their job is simple, keep the peace between inhuman and human, and provide a safe world for both humans and inhumans beings, while maintaining the secret that vampires, werewolves, aliens and demons don't exist, no matter the cost.
CHARACTER CREATION
When creating a character, keep in mind you should leave plenty of room for improvement and for new skills to be taught to said character. All characters must be human, and must have good and bad sides to them.
There will be a trait system, and when a character is first made, they are only allowed TWO traits, if you wish to know how traits work, let me know. In total a character has SIX traits, the remaining four staying open for the character to learn as they choose a path in the ranking system and advance up that rank.
Keep your character realistic as well, no characters should be below the age of 25, and no higher than 50, your character should also have skills, training and experience which can be immediately used by LPIC, this can be anything from demonology, special army training, or anything else that could help deal with paranormal situations, be creative.

EXTRA INFORMATION
Your character can die if they get too reckless, and if one of your characters die, you must create a brand new one, and start from the very beginning of the ranking system.
Supernatural powers can be obtained during a characters stay in LPIC, maybe from exposure to memetic effects or possession. A character can also become stronger and more efficient through augmentation, but this is only given if the character needs it (Through injury, for example).
RANKING SYSTEM
Every character starts as a Contractor, and once accepted into LPIC, will be promoted to LPIC Regular (LPIC-R). From there, the character can choose between three paths, one path leads into Engineering, which will allow a character to pilot tanks and aircraft, later on mechs, spaceships and other advanced vehicles.
One could take the second path, which is purely infantry, this path turns your character into an all out fighter, trained in special tactics, how to deal with situations, and much higher endurance, think of the backbone, the tip of the spear. If one was to take the infantry path, they will be given better armor and weapons, and if high enough, will have special weapons and armor made specifically for the character.
The third path is that of special operations, here a character learns how to deal with memetic effects, and even learns how to use it, they are the infiltrators of LPIC, snipers and spies, trained to kill from the shadows and support from behind the curtains, these characters gain things like temporary invisibility, psychic powers and even morphing, which allows a character to change their being into a weapon.
All in all, every path will eventually lead the character to the final rank, the rank of SK, or Shadowkorp. Shadowkorp are the best of the best, able to withstand extreme punishment and dish out even more, with special armor, weapons, training and specialization, along with augments and genetic modification, the only drawback, is that once a character chooses they are to be part of SK, they have to keep it a secret, and is only allowed to share this information with high ranking officers and other SK members.
