LOL at that last PM.
Gina: “You coming to meet the focus of our mission?”
Jeon: “Nah, you got this.”
Gina: “Don’t you think you should be there?”
Jeon: “Take the robot, you’ll be fine.”

Kings don't like strangers, unless they're invited, although I'm hoping Charles or Kevin will take the various hints to 1. feed me; and 2. invite me with them.

Yes hopefully, although I inferred that Dr Bonadio is not completely unknown to the king, given that he tags along with Hedspeth (and Hedspeth is one of the king’s councilmen), and that the council’s assassination plot hinges on Jeon being able to get close enough to the king to poison him.

It's misdirection. The king's guard will note that Jeon was reluctant to join, citing some valid concerns about his lowly state and how the king had not asked for him, but suggesting his lowly apprentice to go with Gina.
The surprise on Archer's and Kevin's face will further reinforce the idea that Jeon is reluctant.
And Charles will certainly remember how Jeon agreed with him about how it was good the king was reaching out more.
Someone will talk Jeon into it easily enough.

Enigma! You are shameless. Playing politics like you are...
Can't look too eager, certainly. They expect Jeon to kill the king, and whatever bond he has with Kevin and the council, he feels he must protect them, but he doesn't want to kill. Thrust into the same room, there would be expectations.

Now would be the time to do something before it becomes a blood bath where people die in the cross fire *looks at you two*
He also seems to be more comfortable with the local high-falutin’ language, in contrast to slangy millennial Gina. It’s probably a good thing that their marks are “translating” everything appropriately for them.Originally Posted by Azazeal849

Yes, yes, try to avoid bloodshed while plotting murder and death.

That’ll be easy enough, right?
