If they have successfully emptied the room perhaps they would try to get an update there before gallivanting off (remembering the carriage ride that was intended to reunite them but actually delayed their reunion)

Once the king grants his permission, Jeon and the Probe (Melvin) would be on their way. The cards are constantly being monitored by Melvin, so he'd buzz and text them to stay put.

She's a leader of this citadel - wouldn't Cal normally send for Jeon?

Yes, Cal and Panos now know about the card. So Gina will stay put with them until Jeon arrives.

Cal could normally send for Jeon but she has no attendants unless she tries to send her 'husband', which would make him furious :P

Taking Jeon by hand, the Probe led the doctor from the king to Cal's door. It was here that the Probe let go, turning to face Jeon and holding its right hand palm up as it pointed at the door with it.

"So, this is it," Jeon asked, some lingering doubts in his voice despite feeling the draw towards three figures that he knew were somehow behind this door, while stretching behind him he could "feel" Kevin and the King. His hand rose to knock on the door, but he paused, glancing down at the younger imitation of himself. "So how does one address a 'marquis', anyway?"

The Probe rolled its eyes, then knocked for him.

"Hello? It's the doctor!" Jeon called out. "Mind if I pop in for a few moments?"

Replied! I didn’t add much - it didn’t feel organic for Cal to say much before our good doctor replied to Gina. I’m on my phone so my text is just in bold, will add colour when I can get on my cpu.
