    Default [M] Living in Hell IC

    There were reapers, but full-times and in training running around everywhere. Some demons were finding ways to escape to earth that weren't supposed to be and there was choas through out most of hell, but for Gluttony it was just another morning. His heavy currents blocking out all of the lights that made up a Hell morning. One of his imps came up with a tray bigger them him, in as another woke him up. Gluttony grumbled and started to pull the blanket over his head, until he smelled some of the fresh baked food. That sent him bolting straight up and the imp that had started to tug on his blanket, dove off his bed. He may not be the most violent sin but, it was known that he had accidentally eaten one of his imps before. Aside from that he was pretty nice to his imps, so when one of the imps set the tray on his bed. He dove in, while they chose his clothes for the day.

    The bell for the reaper academy echoed through out hell, he wasn't sure if that one started the school day or ended it. Gluttony could never keep it straight, but the one thing that he could keep straight was the market sales day. So would make sure to remind his kitchen imp that today, the fireberries would be ripe and that the lizards' tail would be on sale down at Nraks' shop.

    Else where, the devils' hellhounds were attacking a demon in the market square that had snuck off to earth and came back. Yells and screams could be heard from the Colosseum, whether they were the calls and cries of those competing or the spectators could not be tell.

    In the flaming forests, there were some lower class demons, some imps, and some tortured souls running around trying to gather ingredients and food, before they became food.

    Alt watched the scrambling going on with in the forest, though she watched from afar as she took a bite of a tid bit of fruit she'd snagged. She had plenty, Alt didn't each much anyways. She offered some to the wisp but it refused, as it always did but seemed pleased she she would offer it anything. "hum..." She said quietly watching a Particular soul was having even more trouble then the rest. She watched as the soul eventually gave up to another day of suffering and wondered away. Her ears flicked before scanning the area and finely looking down at her own scant meal before looking to the wisp. "Alt thinks she can spare some..." She said finely and with that she vanished in a puff of light soot colored smoke. She appeared behind a tree to the side of the subdued spirit which was begin ignored for the moment. When she appeared from around the tree the soul gave a start, though Imps and spirits where on the same level it cowered as she approached. Silently she took its hand and placed what was left of her meal in its palm. It started in surprise before alt simply turned and walked away Disappearing again to rejoin her wisp and head out of the forest.

    Kira watched silently as the demon was torn apart in plain sight. It wasn't an unusual sight anymore so she turned and made her way towards the sound of the bell. She wondered when her mentor would visit next, but she never knew when to expect him(her?) She just had to keep on her toes and continue her training. To day she felt dry, having shed all her tears the night before she was sure she could make it through the day without much silliness, at least not from herself. She could not speak for other. Still this job was hard, almost worse then having been a simple soul, but she couldn't explain how. She let out a breath as she came upon the school looking up at the sight before forging her way through the doors and into the school..

    Erin looked up at the beating sun down upon her, it was soon distinguished by the sudden storm. Earth could be a very beautiful place or it could look like a rusted dumpster. She smiled stroking her long brown hair, fiddling with the rose she usually wore. In front of her was a pot full of clear water that appeared cold, but with a wave of her hand it turned to be boiling with frustration fizzling over the sides and burning the ground around her. But, never harming her for the sake of protection. She looked into the water trying to remember the man she had once loved and in it she saw him.

    Right inside the school building was Grant Emerson, sitting at one of the desks with his bony feet resting on top of them and his arms rested behind his back. He had been at this school as year less then Kira but felt he knew much more then her, about himself anyway, to where his sadness didn't usually take over him. At time he still would wail for his lost love but he knew how much she had betrayed him, the way she screamed at him, and any pain she felt in his aftermath was her undertaking. Still.. he missed her greatly.

    "So.. Kira?" he nodded to the fact she looked tired and tense pulling a chair up for her, "Another restless night?" It seemed Grant hadn't lost that part of himself that cared for others completely yet, not his own kind anyway. If it came to a demon or a lost soul he may not seem as warming. For this job you certainly couldn't be, doing so would prevent him from killing the victims. In fact he couldn't wait to be a full time reaper so he could hunt down those who had wronged him both in the afterlife and in his time of living.

    Back with Erin the bubbles faded away disabling her temporary view of her lost finance. For a moment she pondered on whether this could actually work or not, if she could really save him from the darkness of hell. It would be dangerous so she pulled out a small green ring, pushing it onto her finger. It was the same ring Grant was going to give to her on their wedding day but when the tragic event that took his life passed it was out of use. Now it would allow her to stay unseen and appear as a lost soul instead of one of the living. Although, there was no certainty that it would work for every creature down in the underworld. Especially, not the stronger forces that dwell below.

    It was time to make the spell, reaching out her hands screaming out an enchantment causing the green water to eat away at the pot forming a long rectangle in the ground. It was then that the green box turned into a door, which opened automatically for her revealing a long spiral of stairs. Erin slowly made her way down holding her palms tight trying to face up to her fears. But, when she reached the bottom and her entrance crumbled behind her she was launched into a forest filled with flames. Fear and terror came over her like a rat with a knife making her tremble from her eyes to her toes. There was a reason the living shouldn't enter the room of the dead. Despite this, she pushed on through and walked in-between two burning trees.

    Jin walked through the flaming forests, Joy crawling ahead of him. It was strange the way that Joy moved. Her joints seemed to not work right, bending the wrong way every so often but it didn't seem to cause her any pain. No one knew exactly what Joy was. She was much smaller and weaker than even the Imps. The only one who knew or understood anything about her at all was Jin, and that's the way he kept it. Jin loves Joy, not in love with her, but loves her. Why? No one knows that either, especially being that Jin is known for his anger and Wrath.

    As they traveled, she'd sometimes climb up some of the trees and just sit there for a while, just watching as the Imps and others rush about. Jin just stood around at the bottom, watching her, making sure she didn't slip or fall or anything in that nature.

    "Come along now, Joy. We shall go see what it is that the others are doing." He called up to her. Her pitch black eyes looked down to him as she lowered downward from the tree. Just as she was on the ground however, a hyperactive Imp ran past and trampled her. Jin rushed over to her, she seemed fine, but Jin wasn't. The obviously now nervous imp had just realized what he had done stopped running immediately.

    Joy crawled over to Jin, climbing up his leg and hanging on at his neck, legs around his torso. Jin walked over to the Imp, and with a flick of his wrist he sent it flying into one of the trees, making an indent into it. "You should've watched where you were going!" Jin growled, yanking the imp from the tree then tossing him to the ground. The Imp squealed in pain, "I-I-I'm s-so sorry Jin. I-I didn't know," it remarked, trying to apologize.

    Jin however wasn't looking for a sorry. A fiery aura would then form over his arm, his eyes narrowed angrily at the rather careless imp. He was about to incinerate it but was stopped when Joy whimpered and rubbed his face quickly. He looked at Joy and sighed, the dark aura disappearing from his arm. This calmed Jin, as she was alright and there wasn't really much of a reason for him to kill the imp. He didn't say anything more to it as he walked away, Joy riding on his back.

    Damien was just walking through the flaming forest. He wasn't sure why he found himself coming here often during his time in this horrible place but he felt that maybe he was looking for a familiar face. Today was different though he saw a spirit moving through the forest in a strange way, it was as if they had a purpose. "Curious" he muttered to himself and decided to check its soul. What he saw was even more curious, the being in front of him was not a spirit but a living human. Damien did not know if this woman knew what she was getting into by being here but he decided to watch her and if she gained enough of his interest maybe even reveal himself to her. That is if the glow of his soul sight did not already give him away.

    He used the shadows created by the flames to surround himself and make himself nearly impossible to see and began following the strange woman from a distance.

    Zehrahad was walking in a forest in rural Germany. He grinned as he saw a wolf tear into a deer. That was the way of the world, the strong eat the weak. And Zehrahad was the strong one now. He laughed for a moment and reached out his right hand. A wicked looking black sword appeared in his hand. It appeared to be drinking in all the light, visibly dimming the surrounding area. With it, he carved a Pentagram into the ground, and began to chant. After a few moments, a large demonic figure appeared in a pillar of flame. It was Tumalihr, as it only could be.

    Zehrahad bowed slightly,"Tumalihr, welcome to the over world. You can't get out of that pentagram, so don't even try. He grinned again and began to walk circles about Tumalihr, "You know, Tumalihr, Earth is a very nice place this time of year. The humans walk about and sleep in places like these regularly. Makes it easier for me to capture them, and, perform my tasks..."

    Tumalihr grimaced and looked down at Zehrahad. "So why have you summoned me... Master?" Tumalihr knew that Zehrahad never did anything without reason, he just hoped that what he had to do would be entertaining in some way. Not that he had a choice of course. He had been bound to Zehrahad many many years ago. Since then, they had created a love-hate relationship, where, Tumalihr and Zehrahad hated each other, but were still friends at times.

    Zehrahad just smiled more, looking at Tumalihr, "Tumalihr, I have summoned you for reasons other than the fact that I need you to do something. Although, this time, I do need your help." Tumalihr groaned and Zehrahad paused, "Is something the matter, Tumalihr?" "No, sir." Zehrahad smiled, and spread out his hands, "Good, good. Tumalihr, I need you to find Eiko and tell her to find me. Then you need to distract the Reapers and other Demons from the Over World while I do what needs to be done." Zehrahad stopped pacing and looked at Tumalihr, "Well, what are you waiting for? Leave!" Tumalihr vanished in another pillar of flame and all that was left was the smell of sulfur...

    -In Hell-

    Tumalihr reappeared in his throne room. He heard the screams of the damned come across the open ground leading up to his fortress. He sighed once and looked at a Lesser Demon that served him. "You there, fetch me Eiko. Now." Tumalihr's eyes smoldered with anger, and the Demon scampered off to find Eiko. What she would do to him couldn't be nearly as bad as what Tumalihr would do. He might just absorb me, the Demon thought miserably. After a few minutes of searching and asking around, he found Eiko. "Miss, Lord Tumalihr wishes to see you." The Demon said, looking at his feet.

    Chloe rushed her way out of school, not bothering to look back at the running menaces who followed her. She was, indeed, in a lot of trouble. She ran until she reached a forest and hid behind a tree, breathing heavily. She glanced around and the boys chasing her were no where to be found. Chloe sighed in relief. For some odd reason, she decided upon exploring, wishing to not go home so early. She hated her current foster home, the folks there were too strict and harsh on her. She followed along a trail, and she noticed just how lush and beautiful the forest was.

    Chloe was quite the mischievous child, constantly causing mayhem along with her friends. She was in foster care since the age of twelve. She moved from place to place a myriad of times, and for now she was currently in Germany, for she was visiting a different foster care system to see if anyone within Germany would be willing to adopt her. She's been in the country for about two months with little success. Chloe believed she would never get adopted since she was such a troubled teenager.

    Chloe shook her head to escape her reverie and walked for some time, distracted by the forest's beauty... as she kept on, she noticed something in the distance. An odd being that frightened her immensely, she froze on the spot watching the creature summon another beast of immense size. The other disappeared and she quickly snapped out of it and ran to hide behind a tree.

    "What the hell..." Chloe whispered.

    -------------------------------------------

    Asmodues yawned, she was quite bored. She was sitting at her created-from-scratch throne. It was an amazing creation, for she made it very well. She had a couple imps as slaves, but the demon she paid most attention to was Arasul. Arasul was a greater demon, he was powerful and strong... however, Asmodues was much stronger. They were good friends, no doubt about that.

    "Arasul. We should go to the human realm." Asmodeus remarked wistfully. She loved the mortal world, for it was exciting and intriguing. Arasul merely nodded in reply. She smiled and lifted herself from her throne. She knew the reapers would not like her coming through one bit, but she was keen on going, she hadn't been the human world in so long. She missed the mortals and their affairs...

    "Thank you, Master."
    "You're welcome, My Padawan."

    Eiko sighed. She had been sitting in the market enjoying the screams of the demon being assaulted by the hell hounds. "Pity, and they weren't even done yet..." She said resting her chin on her hand for a moment as she crossed her legs making the demon servant fidget as she hesitated to come to the call of the greater demon. She tisked quietly reaching up with her other hand as long obsidian claws grew across her fingers, one gently caressing his chin and making him look up. "Your master could absorb you quickly, Its true." She said using her manipulation against his fear already inside his mind. "But believe me, mine is much slower then what he would ever do." One of her claws nicked the edge of his Chin before she stood, Her claws reverting back to her dainty fingers as she began to walk away. "Scurry home..." she said finely with disdain and quite suddenly she seemed to vanish.

    Eiko took no more time to wait to get to the Greater demons Palace. She was cool with a soft smirk upon her lips, everything about her was youthful in appearance, and while she was the younger by far out of the two she was not new. "Zehrahad has something for me to do?" she asked upon reaching the throne. she sounded eager as she stopped to look at the greater demon, her soft furred ears perked foreword to hear what had to be said. Her masters plans were delicious to hear she could only hope what he had planned now required much suffering.

    ~~~
    Cinnamon quietly dropped lizards tail on the kitchen imps table before reaching into one of her pockets to pull out some other things she'd gotten while she was out. She hadn't forgotten the fire berries either, though she wasn't the Kitchen imp it saved the imp some work and gave her something to do while Gluttony was only just waking. dumping out her pockets upon the table she Kitchen imp watched after pocket after pocket was unfilled with the things she'd gotten. the kitchen imp was no longer surprised by this 'ritual' and simply took what was given him as Cin moved scampered away to Gluttony's room to make sure that everything was right for her master. Not that she didn't trust the other imps, But she felt more comfortable when she was personally at his side to make sure.
    ~~~~

    Kira set down in the chair that Grant pulled out for her. "Is it so obvious?" she asked. "Not that it matters, each time becomes less and less." she said pondering for a moment if that was such a good thing. She sighed and rubbed her temples. "I have nothing to cry about." she said finely. Shy why did she still? was it the pain of draining all her emotions away or was it something else?

    ~~~
    Alt left the forest but only to dash into another easily place to hid, alleyways and such. She'd peer from them occasionally to watch other demons and imps go about their lives but would be very careful never to leave her cover or to remain for to long. All the while the little wisp followed in in silence as she moved about. Perhaps she'd go to the market and see if she could pick up any tidbits of food dropped from the stands.
    "Hey, I'm really bored. We should go outside."
    Eos was hanging over Jacy's shoulder as he looked through a scroll on some sort of myth or another. All through the walls of their enormous house echoed the sounds of the outside world. This was the only quiet place in their house where not even the servants were allowed to enter; the library. Everyone in their world was so predictable, either being a servant, a demon slayer, a destroying death lord, or just altogether useless. Actually, the last part applied to all of them.
    "It's noisy outside. I don't really want to," Jacy pushed Eos away without so much as looking at him and then flopped onto his back. Why should he deal with the utter uselessness of everyone today? What fun could they possibly have out there when everything was just so amazingly uninteresting? It was just pointless.
    "It's always noisy outside, and it's better than being trapped in here, now come on," Eos tore a page out of one of the books they kept, crumpled it up, and then threw it at Jacy to get his attention. He didn't like to be ignored, and Jacy was as entitled to listen to him and follow his demands as anyone else. Who did he even think he was? The great and almighty Lucifer? Lucifer wasn't even that great and almighty, so Jacy was practically nothing in comparison, and therefore, he was supposed to listen to him, "Come on! We're going to rot away to nothing if we stay in here any longer! Everyone outside is probably dying out of the sheer lack of us in their lives, so let's be merciful and save them!" Okay, he knew that wasn't true, but it didn't matter. Anyone who came across him was lucky to be able to bask in the glory of his pure radiance. He was the best, and the best did not hang out all day in the library! Jacy could be the best too if he wasn't so stupid!
    "Don't throw things at me," he was being so immature, "Fine. I'll humor you," he sat up, "but you seriously don't deserve it."
    "Yeah, whatever! Come on!"
    Eos practically dragged Jacy out of their home and then the two of them were off, getting a brief farewell from an imp that held the door open for them, whichever one that was. The red-eyed sin was so happy to be outside! The sounds of insignificants being tortured were always somewhat refreshing! He stopped relaxing though, when he saw a little shadow or something scurry into an alleyway. (Alt)
    "Hey, hey look at that. Over there, did you see that?"
    Eos was getting all excited again over nothing, "No."
    "Yes you did, now come on. Let's follow it!"
    Eos pushed off the ground and hovered over to its general area. Jacy pursued on foot at a much slower pace, glancing around for a moment at those who were out and about. Why did Eos even like this? This was already getting so boring!
    ...............
    A small imp was leaving her little wisp friends to her duties, while trying to see if she could make a quick escape. All morning, the only thing she could think of was that strange sin she knew, Gluttony, her second master. What was he doing at the moment? Had he been alright the previous night? Was he stuffing himself full of food? Was he okay without her there?.... would Verchu be okay without her here?
    She glanced briefly and nervously over her shoulder. Verchu was her first master... a huge jerk, really, but... she also liked him. In a small sense, anyway. She respected him for what he was as her first employer... and someone who could off her with a wave of his hand, but.. it was for the second mentioned that she was so anxious to get to Gluttony. He was so much kinder in comparison! He would probably never hurt her if she worked for him officially! He was just too gentle for that! Sure, she'd heard of certain incidents happening, but those were all by accident.... none of them on purpose like with....
    She turned away. No! She would not be held up! She would get to him so that she could continue her work! Verchu would be fine! He probably never needed her to begin with. Everything would be okay so long as she got out of here as soon as possible, without being caught!
    ...............
    Another imp was running along, outside, trying to locate a fallen friend... or a fallen angel. Whatever! Today was a day off! Or at least, he hoped it would be. At the moment, his master was in a very deep sleep, and would probably stay like that for the whole of the day, and perhaps even tomorrow. The guy was very low-maintenance, lucky for him. Besides, Photo didn't like him anyway! Sure, he seemed nice enough when he was half asleep, or in his dreams, but his true colors were always revealed when he was fully awake! All demons and sins were the same. They were so selfish and annoying, only wanting to take everything for themselves! That's why he was looking for Damien.
    Damien was a fallen angel. They were pretty terrible too, but not this guy for some reason. It made Photo as curious as it did make him want to admire the guy. Hanging out with him was better than bothering with someone who was never awake to start with... but where was he! He'd heard from another passing imp that they saw an angel heading for the forest, but Photo couldn't find him anywhere!
    ...............
    Meanwhile, Louie stood on post, waiting for orders to be given. Unlike the other two aforementioned imps, he was a good servant, and was fully dedicated to his job! You would never find him slacking off or running around without consent from his master! He made sure he did everything he was supposed to and that he did it diligently. That was his job, and that was what he was doing.
    Silently, he stood in the vast home of Zehrahad, awaiting the orders that would be given to him for the day, if any. Either way, he'd be ready whenever he was needed.
    As Damien was following the strange woman he felt his attention being drawn to some movement in the corner of his vision. He focused on the movement and saw a familiar face. Photo was looking for him again apparently. He flared the shadows around him in a way the imp should be able to recognize but tried to be discreet enough to not catch the woman's attention.
