The profile looks awesome Wanderer! That said, he doesn't have to have killed the second friend, because the New Form of the Rite (which doesn't require killing) is widely accepted or at worst tolerated by all but the most extreme of traditionalists. More specifically, the requirement for the second task of the New Form is to defeat a human warrior in honorable 1-on-1 combat while in one's human form; as long as the colt wins against a human in such a battle (even if it's just a friendly spar in which neither side is truly harmed), this is sufficient to satisfy the requirements of the New Form, so the colt doesn't have to kill the human or cause them any real harm.

Oh he didn't kill the one who filled the second part of the Rite, but what happened more or less excommunicated Saren form his hometown. I Didn't give away every thing in his past after all.

Oh okay. In that case, you're all set.

By the way, the Danish royal family never went into exile during the Nazi occupation, so for that part of Saren's bio that means he would have contacted one of the Norwegian royals. In fact, this would tie in perfectly with one scene that I had planned on using; I'll PM you the details right away.

    Irahal

    Aliases

    Rahal Shinome
    The Millennial Child
    The Scarlet Sun

    Species
    Dragon

    Race
    Auroral

    Age
    33

    Ethnicity
    Asian American

    Place of Origin
    Sacramento, California

    Occupation
Double Agent for the US Navy
    (Imperial Japanese Naval Aviator)

    Powers
Rahal is proficient in fire, lightning and wind magics and through the years he has created his own moveset to suit his particular fighting style of Extreme Close/Far (explained in "Fighting Styles"). As an Auroral dragon he is able to tolerate high amounts of electricity and ionization, the latter being converted to energy for his use.

    Scarlet Fire
Rahal's fire breath is a vivid Scarlet Red color instead of the standard Fire Red and tends to leave burns more often than outright damaging them.

    Aurora Charge
Every Auroral Dragon is able to increase his or her power during a ionization event of significant magnitude (i.e. Auroras). So if you decide to fight one at the northern or southern poles, you're going to have a bad time.

    Blazing Kamikaze
Rahal ignites his entire body and rushes his opponent with reckless intent. The fires both harm his scale armor and burn his target with every impact he manages to deliver.

    Bye-Bye Cannon
Rahal fires high velocity balls of air to his target, designed for high impact instead of damage.

    Shock-and-Awe
Rahal lets loose an extremely loud roar while at the same time he fires a stream of random bolts of electricity out of his mouth. Usually he does this when he needs to keep his enemy at bay or for crowd control purposes.

    Scarlet Sun

Rahal's signature attack involves him flying to a high altitude and charging a massive ball of fire and infusing it with electricity to give it plasma-like attributes. Once he feels he's put enough energy into it, he simply drops it onto his target and propels it down with a gust of wind. He rarely uses it for obvious reasons, but when he does, and if it hits, the battle is usually over.

    Weapons
Rahal's weapons depend on one question, "Is he in an airplane?"
Ground - Type 99 Sniper Rifle, Type 94 Nambu, 6" Combat Knife
Air - Type 2 TERA Rifle, Type 100 SMG, 6" Combat Knife

    Aircraft
As an naval aviator, Rahal is adequately trained to pilot aircraft at sea for the US Navy and when he was selected to be an espionage agent, flying for the IJN, he had to learn how to fly all new aircraft.

    USN
    Vought F4U/FG Corsair (Primary)
    Curtiss SB2C Helldiver (Secondary)
    IJN

    Mitsubishi A6M Zero (Primary)
    Mitsubishi B5N (Secondary)
    Recreational
    PWA-1 Skycoupe

    Fighting Style
While Rahal is quite able-bodied in Aikido, he prefers to use his own style that he has called "Extreme Close/Far". Namely, he likes to keep his enemy either really close, or really far. He doesn't settle for any other confrontation and actively works to keep things on his terms, which is why in his dragon form he employs more technical attacks than powered ones; so that he can set up his range. Most will say that a Rahal likes to control his battles and he doesn't make an argument but still maintains his style's naming, wanting to keep some semblance of uniqueness to his moves.

    Non-Combat Skills
Aviation, Cooking, Weapon Management, Espionage, Swimming

    Primary Language
    English & Japanese

    Secondary Language
    Chinese & Korean

    Affiliation
    The Eastern Asian Union
    The United States Navy
    The Imperial Japanese Navy (Espionage)

    Connections
    Chester Nimitz (Protege)
    Isoroku Yamamoto

    Grand Elder Saberah'Izumi

    Appearance
    Spoiler: Human Form

    Spoiler: Dragon Form

    Personality
Rahal is one of those people who's soul is always burning for action. He usually prefers to get in the middle of everything and solve problems aggressively. However, he isn't so quick to violent solutions, preferring to go with a diplomatic solution. He is a loyal man with a keen sense of justice and honor, possessing a extremely low tolerance for injustice. He is a progressive person and loves innovation and advancement. In battle, he is a force to be reckoned with, focusing his skills and abilities to a head and never relenting until the job is down.

    Brief History
To say that Irahal's early life was hectic was to put it very mildly. He was born approximantly 4 years before the first Great War in 1910 at the area known as Sacramento, California. His parents were taking a "vacation" there at the time and the birth was completely unplanned but accepted. It was decided that he would be raised here instead of back in Japan to keep him as far away from the war as possible. Inside America, Irahal was brought up as one of the "test" children for a modified Rite of the Ages. Several communities of dragons inside Japan grew to detest the Rite, calling it barbaric and old fashioned. Resentment grew until Irahal's mother, Izumi, and her friend, Sydnee, decided to take that resentment and run with it. They formed the Japanese Coalition of Dragon's (known as JCoD for short) and invited all who wanted to conduct the Rite, and life surrounding it, differently. Initially, they were known just as, "A sect of rouge dragons with a vendetta against Ketos." and only dragons in Japan participated in it initially.

Irahal was the first colt to undertake the Rite of the Millennium and quickly became a model for the other communities to follow. He was known as the Millennial Child to his peers for paving the way for a new chapter for dragons everywhere. In his human life, he had a fairly decent life. He did well in his schooling and fought to gain respect amongst his white peers. He wanted to make a difference in the world and wanted to join the military to do it. Izumi was hesitant at first, having lost Ragnigan (Her husband) to WWI, but after constant prodding from Irahal, she relented and allowed Irahal to join a military school in his mid-teens to set him on the path.

A few months after WWI and with mounting support from more dragon communities all over the Eastern Hemisphere, Izumi and Sydnee founded the Eastern Asian Union and consolidated JCoD to become the center of it all, making Mt. Fuji the capital center. Irahal was an important figure in it all, and when he wasn't at school, he was traveling the world with his mother as the Millennial child; living proof that life without the old Rite was possible. The initial mixed support became a flood and soon the EAU became the draconic version of a Superpower. The flag of the EAU soon flew as far east as India, as far north as Russia, and as far south as Australia. Talks were in place in North America and in other parts of Russia as Izumi and Sydnee planned to cap the EAU's expansion in those places but the out break of WWII ended those as Japan became implicated in the war in a serious way by attacking it's neighbors. Though dragons were not the cause, the PR nightmare still loomed.

The EAU quickly ratified the Trifecta Alma Dux treaty which barred any EAU Dragon from participating in WWII unless where the danger is dire. The only exceptions to this rule were Dragons already enlisted in the military like Irahal; who was one of the best pilots in the US Navy. However the other Japanese-American soldiers became under suspicion as traitors plotting an attack on US soil. Rahal was appointed as an espionage agent by the CIA to look into Japanese actions and to warn the US of any potential attacks from them. He was able to easily gain the trust of one Isoroku Yamamoto for his phenomenal piloting skills and unwavering loyalty; Irahal's espionage skills being one of the best. As the EAU struggled to maintain it's identity and remain a viable force to be reckoned with AND deal with dragons trying to snuff the EAU out, Yamamoto's suspiscions of the Germans boiled over to him wanting someone to go into Germany to implicate them for acting against the treaty his nation signed. Now Irahal was facing the prospect of being a Double Agent for American, Japan, and the EAU as his future lay in Europe.

    Other Notes
Rahal tends to set his wings on fire intentionally to intimidate his opponents. Years of doing this (and getting healing sessions afterwards) have made practically impossible to employ the age old tactic of burning a dragons wings to cut of his ability of flight. Kinda hard to do when the dragon in question will most likely set his own wings on fire before you get the chance.

    Name: Háral

    Alias(es): Harald Thorsen

    Species: Dragon

    Race: Arctic Fire (see "Powers")

Date of Birth: April 7th, 1922

    Ethnicity: Nordic

Place of Origin: The mountains near Řksfjord in the Loppa municipality of Finnmark, Norway

Occupation: Apprentice fisherman employed by his father.

Power(s): Arctic Fire dragons are a subspecies of fire dragons most commonly found within or near the Arctic Circle, having adapted to the relatively cold climates of this region. As such, they can also breathe fire and can withstand cold temperatures better than most other fire dragons might, but they may be more susceptible to extreme heat than a typical fire dragon, and cannot withstand cold climates to the same degree as ice dragons.

Weapon(s): A Krag-Jřrgensen M1894 rifle from his father's treasure hoard, which can be equipped with a removable scope and/or bayonet as needed. The bayonet can also be removed and used as a hand weapon, but Háral rarely does so unless he needs to fight in human form for whatever reason.

Fighting Style(s): In general, Háral prefers to strike hard and fast, using stealth and ambush tactics to catch opponents unprepared and then immediately moving to finish them off or otherwise end the fight before they can muster a defense or counterattack. Typically he prefers to fight in his dragon form, but when fighting in human form he uses the Krag-Jřrgensen for long range and its bayonet for short range.

    Non-Combat Skills:
    Fishing
    Hunting
    Skiing
    Wilderness Survival
    Basic Craftsmanship
    Basic Sailing/Navigation

    Primary Language(s):
    Draconic
    Norwegian
    Northern Sámi
    Kven

    Secondary Language(s):
    Danish*
    Swedish*
    Finnish**
(*Due to being mutually intelligible with Norwegian)
(**Due to being mutually intelligible with Kven)

    Affiliation(s):
    None officially.

    Connections:
Háral's family has earned and maintained the trust and friendship of the local Sámi and Kven communities in Řksfjord.

    Spoiler: Human Form

    Spoiler: Dragon Form

Personality: Being from a family viewed as "weak-hearted" by some of the dragons in his community, Háral struggles with feelings of inadequacy and insecurity, driving him to make rash decisions in an attempt to prove his worth, even if only to himself. Despite this reckless streak, however, he has a genuinely good heart and will not hesitate to stand up for the underdog, even becoming resentful of those whom he sees as oppressive.

    Brief History:
In childhood, Háral and his sister Gutnel were both looked down upon by many of their peers. Neither of their parents, Agmundr and Ravna, had made any attempt to perform the Rite of Ages in their youth, instead seeking and earning exemptions through their efforts to try to undo the destructive effects of Norwegianization on the local Kven and Sámi cultures; while many of the adults were very accepting of this, some adults and several of Háral's peers were not, and both younglings were frequent targets of teasing and bullying for being perceived as "weak-hearted spawn". This bullying effectively stopped after they became colts, when the former bullies were old enough to understand how common similar exemptions had become during the Great War, but it would nevertheless have a lasting effect on Háral, who became more and more determined to prove that he was not as weak as everyone had claimed him to be.

More recently, after war broke out in September of 1939, everything changed. Even though Norway had decided to remain neutral during the war, the country's strategic importance meant that the possibility of being drawn into the war could not be ignored; for the colts' safety, the elders of Háral's community reluctantly forbade all colts (including Háral and Gutnel) from beginning their Rites until after the war. Gutnel was mostly unaffected by this decision, content to delay her Rite until she could gain more experience with the humans and other creatures outside of the community. Háral, however, saw the Rite as his only chance to gain the respect he felt he hadn't yet earned, and secretly made plans to begin his Rite despite the temporary ban.

    Family:
    Agmundr (father)
    Ravna (mother)
    Gutnel (older sister)

    Friends:
Some of the colts in his community
His father's human employees (including many local Kven and Sámi employees)
Several of the other magical creatures that live in and near his native Řksfjord

    Rivals:
Háral has little respect for the Norwegian monarchy and government in general, which he sees as responsible for persecuting the local Sámi and Kven communities through the discriminatory Norwegianization policies of the time. Although Háral will remain loyal when necessary for the greater good, he has few qualms with disobeying or speaking out against any order or action on their part that he sees as unjust.
Likewise, Háral also has his suspicions about both sides of the war; Háral himself cares little about the war itself, but he knows from local news and gossip that Norway and Sweden are both prime targets to both sides, and suspects that neither side would hesitate to invade his homeland at the first opportunity.

    Enemies:
Anything and anyone, regardless of affiliation, that he sees as hostile in any way toward those he cares about, for whatever reason.

    Romantic Interests:
    None yet.

    Likes:
    Friendly competition
    Sports/Games
    Nature

    Dislikes:
    Norwegianization
    Being treated as inferior
Discrimination against him, his family, or his culture (or those of any of his friends)

Other Notes: Háral is no stranger to the vast array of different mythical species and beings in his native Norway, making him more knowledgeable than most about the local magical element and how to best approach certain creatures and/or beings.

Since I'm back... I'll start by making some trusted backstory on the organization that will plant its roots in this war... It'll have something to do with the Nazi Regime... So yeah.

[Reliant] Immortality: Sofroniusz, within his known lifetime, as acquired an occult item that has allowed him to be anchored to eternal and long-lasting life. This object is known as the "Helm’s Book” in which is a literal book that has Sofroniusz’s soul bound to it. Through the Helm’s Book, Sofroniusz is able to have immortality but if the book is destroyed then the result is the death of Sofroniusz’s mortal body, but his soul remains earthbound.

Primary Language(s): Polish | [British] English | Finish | Romanian

    Secondary Language(s): German | Japanese | Italian

Affiliation(s): Historia [Original Planetary Defense Initiative]

Connection(s): [Loose Connections With] The Nazi Regime

Personality: Sofroniusz, being one-hundred and seventeen years of age, is an understanding gentleman with an upstanding sort of view on the world. Before he found the Helm’s Book, he was a very carefree individual with a sense of exploration and science. However upon discovering the book his personal ideals changed from exploration and science to genetics and prosperity among humans. Having discovered the Helm’s Book Sofroniusz has become a wise [old] man with a sense of story-telling; often time breaking into a full story session where he would go on for hours speaking about his past experiences. With his experiences in combat he isn’t afraid to go “all-in” and risk everything for rewards withstanding the consequences of such action.

Brief History: [High Lord Commissariat] Sofroniusz Hryniewicz was born in Zbąszyń, Poland during the reign of the Prussian Empire. Sofroniusz didn’t have an enjoyable childhood growing up for he had lived with three other brothers who were very unreeling towards Sofroniusz endeavors. Within the first few years of his [now eternal] life he was a very abrasive child and would often time punish his older brothers for one reason or another. And this was natural amongst the Hryniewicz for the brothers would always tell on each other for minor things that were of no significance. Thus this had let on for most of his childhood and early teenage life.

Sofroniusz’s father, Marcel Hryniewicz, was involved with the some sort of 19th Century Pact that was directly associated with Occult Items. As far-fetched as that sounds Marcel Hryniewicz was a respected man for his age, and had profited the respect of many individuals in the village at the time. However his respect did not come without consequences. Sofroniusz was the first to witness some members of this Pact, and with Marcel’s involvement it had only shortened Marcel’s time till death. Sofroniusz had discovered several clues leading to the Helm’s Book in which the Pact that Marcel was a part of at the time was trying to locate. So in order to please his adventurous habits he left his brothers, mother, and father to travel throughout the Prussian Empire in order to search for the Helm’s Book.

Sofroniusz, having the Helm’s Book interest him more than anything else, traveled throughout the Prussian Empire for a good portion of his early adult years; traveling and experiencing the wonders and sights that Prussian Empire had to offer. After traveling for a little while longer he came across a ruined village that lied somewhere in the eastern regions of the Prussian Empire. He had trekked this far and all the clues he was given had led him to this village. With these clues pointing here he searched high and low before coming across the book in an underground library that was beneath the village. Sofroniusz recovered the book and was immediately brought immortality. He was now stuck at the age of 26 [mortally speaking].

He lived out his eternal and immortal life in peace as the world changed around him. Until the brunt of World War 2 arrived causing him to flee from the shadows of peace and into the light of war. In his ventures in war-torn Northern Europe he had met five interesting individuals who harbored extraordinary skills in combat and other forms. Thus Sofroniusz decided to move along with them and thus this formed “Historia” which consisted of Sofroniusz as the High Lord Commissariat and his delegates. Thus [High Lord Commissariat] Sofroniusz Hryniewicz has developed a single goal and that goal is to keep all Mythos from intervening in the war. Thus leading up to now.

Family: Monika Hryniewicz [Mother – Deceased] | Marcel Hryniewicz [Father – Deceased] | Gerard Hryniewicz [Oldest Brother – Deceased At An Early Age] | Przemysl Hryniewicz [Second Oldest Brother – Deceased] | Józef Hryniewicz [Youngest Brother – Deceased]

Very interesting Hoef! One thing I wanted to ask though, more out of curiosity than anything else. You listed the Nazi Regime as one of Sofroniusz's enemies along with the Mythos; since it is highly possible that at least some magical creatures will be against the Nazis (like my and Wanderer's characters will be), which one of the two would he be more likely to side with against the other, if given the choice?

Thinking about the answer made me smile. When push comes to shove, it would be logical to see that he would side with the Nazis because he despises the Mythos, due to his past, but then again there's the situation where he might be betrayed by the Nazis and so in order to get them back he would side with the Mythos...

As an honest answer. It depends on the situation really.
