Name: Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh
Age: 96 (Resurrected – Appears to be in mid 20s) [DOB – 264 BC]
Race: Greek
Godly Parents: N/A
Personality: Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, is a noble guardian to all that is under rule of Aphrodite. She is of honor, but like the Goddess can show vulnerability and a deep ability to love, even intimately. She has given her body, mind, and soul to Aphrodite and as such willingly acts under her direction without hesitation. She defends any woman who cannot defend herself and will battle any misogyny on sight.
Every time the Goddess communicates with her, she is brought to tears. When she strikes, it with Aphrodite’s passion and when she raises her shield it is with the Goddess’s love guiding her. Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh submits her body to those who use it to commune with the Goddess. She is both defender and divine prostitute. Yet she only lies with those the Aphrodite permits. Any classically lewd or sexual advance will be met with powerful hostility, as it is defilement of her sacred body and devotion. She is naturally maternal to all.
Background: Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh started life with less than humble beginnings. During the time of Greek’s height of power there were injustices that remained ignored in the face of uncontrolled lust, gluttony, greed, and hunger for power. Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh was born from wedlock, more specifically, a woman who was taken against her will. However, her mother’s plight was not one of few, but of the slave and poor class they remained weak and silent. Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, was bestowed a command from Aphrodite: strike down those who ruin the true meaning of love and passion. Only being a young teen at the time, she had no means of combat but knew her calling to be true. When men of the slave owners began to break their contracts with justice not being delivered, she picked up a blade; and by divine empowerment, struck them. Each kill was a testament to her devotion. Guided by the Goddess Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, guided the victims to Athens’ largest temple to Aphrodite.
With her physical pilgrimage was complete, she was taken by Aphrodite personally for her devotion to women kind and to love. Her body was taught in the ways of pleasure through the priests and priestess of Aphrodite; she was taught the ways of combat through soldier’s whose devotion belonged to the Goddess.
Aphrodite bestowed upon Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, blessed armor and weaponry, they kept her body and mind young and pure as long as she served under the will of the Goddess. And for over eighty years she did her charge, never having lovers other than what the Goddess willed and staying true to her path. Time and time again she was a symbol for female empowerment and equality in sexuality. She had slain many who had destroyed Aphrodite’s expression: perverts, and all those who wished to defile beauty.
However, Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh fell in battle when she tried to protect Macedonia from Rome’s conquest. Legend said that she was able to slay thousands of men single handedly in her finale battle. When the blade pierced her stomach fatally, it was said that the very Roman men who witnessed or aided in her death surrendered to sorrow and wept until killed.
Her body, as demanded by Aphrodite, was burned and her ashes spread so that Elisavet, of Sacred Fleash may remain pure. Her magical items turned into a pile of roses that wilted as her corpse burned.
Her soul danced in the Elysian Fields, oblivious of her sacred path, until she was violently pulled out by the rage of Odin. She found herself on an alien planet, Eternum, but with the Goddess leading her has worked tirelessly to continue her sacred duty.
In her service, working with Decius Marcius the religious trials have been harsh. To protect the Fulminata she faced Chaaru in lethal combat. The confrontation almost calmed her life and instead cursed her with horrible visions of Chaaru's sins throughout his long lived lifetime. Balancing at the opposite side of this was her need to guide Decius out of spiraling depression and help him through the grieving process for the loss of his family. Increasingly her vision's curse became more and more intense, challenging her resolve.
Through a vision given by Isis Elisavet discovered that Charru's blade, Hate, had made Decius' negative emotions manifest into a sentient dark being. This being, a six eyed being haunted Elisavet through the visions, and by swift action of Isis, it was revealed that this being was to be her son. Hate had impregnated her, a child fused of Elisavet's, Decius', and Chaaru's blood.
Unable to remove the child from her body in fear of harming Decius' life, as they are linked, Elisavet has left to the temples of her goddess in hopes of a solution
Area: Traveling with Masika to the temple of Venus
Faction: Aphrodite, Resurrected Greeks
Loves (Three things): Aphrodite, Love, Purity in beauty
Hates (Three things): Corruption, romantic or sexual impurity, all that upsets Aphrodite
Description of Weaponry and Armor:
Silken Armor: White silk and accessorizing bindings make up the bulk of her armor. It is by Aphrodite’s design and magically gives her protection from the elements (As long as she remains pure to her charge). It always remains pristine and cannot be torn by mortal means ( moves like cloth, tougher than steel and it magically stays 'in place')
Sword and Shield of Aphrodite: Upon the shield is the classic female symbol. The sword and shield are only able to be held by Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh (As long as she remains pure to her charge). They bless her with super human strength, agility, endurance (comparable to a weaker demigod) and infinite lifespan. The weapon and shield cannot be destroyed by any mortal convention.
Magical Qualities: Mortals (including Demigods) who touch her body without the permission of the Goddess (which are those who desire to harm her or to sexually conquer her) are instantly overtaken with divine reverence and guilt of their impurity (As long as she remains pure to her charge).
The shield and sword are bound to her and these qualities persist until she is slain or the weapon and shield destroyed (As long as she remains pure to her charge).
She has a very powerful connection to Aphrodite and may be spoken directly, through her mind, if the Goddess wishes. It is one way, Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, would need to enact a ritual to have back and forth conversation.
When lying with Elisavet, of Sacred Flesh, gives clear communication and powerful communion with Aphrodite. Until the Goddess wills her to carry children, she is barren and is immune to any sexual disease (As long as she remains pure to her charge).
