The year is 2513. It has been two years since the end of the
Titan “Sprawl” Station. The government stabilised control and were able to prevent knowledge of the Marker and Necromorph outbreak being revealed to the public. On the news, they claimed that it was overrun by a terrorist group; just like they did with the
USG Ishimura, linking the two as a reason for the attack with it being placed there for investigation and repairs. Despite order being restored, the ‘top brass’ of
EarthGov are still on edge, especially the ones positioned near Saturn’s neighbouring planet Jupiter.
The Europa Station, a civilization station much like the Sprawl built over one of Jupiter’s many
moons, is one of the most thriving metropolises to live in. Times are currently stressful with increased security in both the public and government sectors, as well as unusual behaviour from the citizens, growing worse by the day from mild paranoia to violent assaults. And things are about to get a whole lot worse.
Unbeknownst to innocent people living their daily lives, the Church of
Unitology discovered the government of the Europa is hiding another
Marker and want to claim it for themselves. Is it of unknown origins like the Black Marker or is it another man-made artifact? What starts as an ordinary day abruptly changes when a loud fog-horn like sound is heard along with a blinding light. Before people can begin to question what it is, a sudden swarm of humanoid creatures appear, followed by destruction and bloodshed: the next Necromorph outbreak.
Realising there is a Marker and it is responsible for this, survivors immediately take action. Will you stand with EarthGov or Unitology? Form a team with other survivors. Find the Marker and get to it before the opposing side does. Whatever your motivation, can you survive long enough to put a stop to this madness or serve your cause before the Marker drives you insane?
