Hello, and welcome! This is the OOC for the roleplay I made! The rules are quite simple (more likely tips, but what the heck, ya know?)
In this roleplay, you are the children of gym leaders, elite four members, champions, bad guys, etc.! (A.K.A. any "named" character)

Umm....... hmmmm........ there's not that many rules for this honestly. One thing's for sure, you cannot use legendaries. You CAN use pseudo-legendaries (like Rotom) however. And, if ya can (actually this is now made mandatory, dual-types are allowed too), add one Pokémon that matches the type your parent uses (ex. Roxanne uses Rock-types, so add just ONE Rock-type). Aaaand....... huh, that's it really.
You just need readable, understandable sentences and Pokémon knowledge is all.

She confessed to Blakely when she was 10, and they've been lovers ever since. She does not care about Blakely's relations, since she is a good person.

Background: She is the daughter of the Team Rocket Grunt/Executive Proton. She was raised to be cruel and cold-hearted, but she did not oblige to it and became good instead. Her mother disappeared when she was 1, so her father was the only person she had, until she met Caelin at age 7. She gained her sexual orientation through this, and her father neglected her because of it and called her a "Dirty Grumpig". She was overjoyed when Caelin (hesitantly) confessed to her, and they've been lovers ever since. Blakely is glad that Caelin accepts her, despite her relations with Proton.

She is only overly sweet to girls because she is extremely afraid of them, and in rare occasions, including Caelin.

Personality: Mac is the type to be adventurous, as most trainers, but he found himself in love with the cold. He’s a joker, almost cracking terrible jokes nobody likes, and laughs at them too. He’s quite the quick thinker, but gets distracted easily. He doesn’t really understand people, or what they’re thinking as he can’t read faces. He doesn’t understand emotion, and he doesn’t know his limits. Some have even called him cold.
Background: Trained by his mother to focus in the ice type, Mac tries to follow in her footsteps the best he can, but also gained some team members he couldn’t refuse. After training in the outskirts of Sinnoh and Hoenn for years he gained a perfect team. Though to devote himself to the ice typing he left all his other Pokemon back with his mother.
Appearance: Imagine a boy about 5-4, he's short, but strong even though he doesn't look it. His black hair is fluffy and a complete wreck though he doesn't care. His green eyes are protected by his blue tinted glasses, to protect him from the suns rays. For an outfit he's always wearing some polo stripped shirt, and blue jeans.

Personality: He's smart creative and funny. Although there are some flaws to him, Draco can be pretty cocky and when battling he strategy is to adapt and wing it. He has likes to have fun and spend time with Pokemon, Draco mostly has his Pokemon outside their pokeballs.
Background: Like his mother he loves dragon type Pokemon but he didn't want to use only one type of Pokemon. So he left home to understand different types of Pokemon. He learned quickly understanding all he could learn normally talking to scientists and others.
Appearance: He's tall skinny but has some muscle. He has glasses and wears a fedora from the Kalos region. He normally wears regular jeans and running shoes. He has a black t-shirt with a red dragon in it and a hoodie.

Personality: Much like her father, Angelica is stubborn but a dedicated Pokemon trainer. She never backs down from fights and never quits. She can be arrogant but she respects most people and Pokemon that she comes to meet.
Background: Before Angelica had been born, Gary had stopped being a Pokemon trainer and moved to the Hoenn region to study all various types of Pokemon. By the time Angelica was born and was old enough to finally become a Pokemon trainer, Gary handed her two original Pokemon of his, two Pokemon who had been his best friends for many years. He handed her Arcanine and Umbreon. Since then, Angelica went on to accomplish what his father could not.

She likes to remain optimistic, though it tends to make her rather naive as time progresses; but regardless, she's awfully talkative and persistent, leaving her unable to refuse any challenge proposed to her.
Background // Having been born rather frail and weak, the daughter of Hoenn's Fire-type Gym leader was raised by her father in his hometown, Unova's Nimbasa City, in an attempt to repress her desire to follow in her mother's footsteps. This had been done so that Senna wouldn't put herself in harm's way by becoming a trainer and traveling across the regions alone. Regardless, the attempt backfired as Senna only yearned to become a Pokemon trainer even more and to challenge her mother in her own gym - so, after lots of convincing on her part, Senna managed to get her father to let her have her own Pokemon and to travel. Inspired by both her mother Flannery and Nimbasa's Electric-type Gym leader Elesa, most of Senna's Pokemon consist of Electric or Fire-type Pokemon.

Miscellaneous // Senna follows after her mother in that she battles aggressively - her Pokemon know more offensive moves than anything else, and as such Senna's battling strategy is to constantly play offense. This tends to backfire as some of the offense moves hurt the user, and building defense isn't exactly something Senna's Pokemon are capable of.

Personality: Quiet, but not shy at all, he's willing to speak up if he needs to. Direct, creative, not humorous at all. He's always serious, though Noah tends to lighten up near people around his age group or his friends. (who tend to be around his age group) Always picks up on things easily, though he can overthink problems.
Background: Being born to a Warlord in Ransei, it being Nō, no less, he always had trouble making friends when he's out traveling the world. Noah will be the next Warlord in Spectra, but right now, he just wants to see what's out there. Doesn't have a problem saying his sexuality if asked, but no one ever asks.

Personality: Cold and calculating, she always takes everything into consideration. She stays quiet and plans out her next move carefully. She emits an aura of harmlessness, though she is everything but that when she battles and you can see in her eyes and her pokemon.
Background: Born to Mars in the Sinnoh region, she was raised to be evil and ruthless. She always believed this and her actions always reflected this teaching. But what really turned her away from good was this. Venus was born with a speech impediment. Always pausing at her every word, she could barely form a sentence with her limited vocabulary. For this, she was teased, laughed at, beaten down by bullies. She couldn't tell her mother what was happening, because Mars loved it. It turned her daughter evil. Now, she is 16, she was sent, by Mars, on her first mission to revive Team Galactic at Hoenn.

Personality: Lief, much likes his mother, loves to rock out on the guitar and is a lover of all kinds of music. He's a trouble maker though, with a secret plan of his own in his puny head. While he doesn't act very tough he's stronger intellectually then he appears. Lief doesn't really enjoy choosing a side - and plays the game to win. He's sneaky, clever, and most certainly evil. But, he doesn't really know how to use any of it. So he signed up for a plan with the daughter of an X team Plasma boss. He likes this new friend of his, but he doesn't know much about getting close to them. Or anyone. He's pretty centered off always working out his plans in his head, so much so, he never instructs them.
Background: After running away from his mother, he worked his way to a gathering for a team being reborn in the Hoenn Region, and traveled by boat to make it in three days time. Now he works under Venus, all while secretly having his own plans for a legendary Pokemon he's only seen in Myth.
Appearance: Lief has a tanish skin color, likily from being in the sun so much or from Hoenn's heat. His hair is short with bangs with green streak down him. Through the power of contacts his eyes are purple. He wears a purple suit with a toxic sign on it until his leader gives him a proper one. He likes to show off he's evil after all.

Personality: I like saving personity for the RP, so all I'm going to say is that he's open-minded, sincere, but quite mysterious. He's not all that much like his mother.
Background (if ya want to bother adding it that is): Growing up with his mom Gardenia was a blast. She's so flighty that Delta rarely stayed in the house for too long. They spent most of their time together gardening outside or exploring Eterna forest, and Delta developed an affection for Pokemon from her, although somewhat less clingy. However, having alot of experience with wild Pokemon has allowed him to obtain more knowledge about the lives they live, and this triggered a strange, uneasy feeling within him that he couldn't identify until many years later. After managing to befriend a violent and fearful shiny Shroomish, it has refused to leave him since. At the age of seven, Delta was more independent and wanted to learn more. It took alot to pry himself away from Gardenia and travel all the way to Rustburo City in Hoenn to attend the highly-acclaimed Tainer School along with his Shroomish, whom he had named Echthra. Of course, Gardenia would take him back during vacations, although Delta did quite enjoy reading in the Trainer School library and exploring the Rustburo Meuseum. Even after graduating with flying colors at the age of nine(1 year early), Delta remained there for years to learn even more still. By eleven he was even substituting for Roxanne on multiple occations, not beginning his Pokemon journey until he was twelve.
Appearance: At just 5'4", he has a stocky but athletic build to make up for his height. His fluffy orange hair is fairly long, covering his ears and hanging just above his eyes. He typically wears a glowering expression, as if always angry or tense about something. He wears a seemingly oversized green open coat made of cotton, cargo pants with lots of pockets, nice black leather gloves, and a pair of red Go-Go Goggles that are either over his eyes or around his neck.

Background: Adamas lost contact with his father at an early age, thus putting somewhat of a burden on his mother to raise a child while juggling a busy life of a Gym Leader. Growing up Adamas was always rather critical of the world around him, often taking it upon himself to make sure things were fair for everyone, which landed the boy in trouble more times than not. His androgynous appearance has always made others question his truth, but he has never been one to conform, making his life trials much more difficult. He has been described as somewhat of an extremist, observed by the fact that he will either be absolutely silent until he witnesses the opportunity to stand up for himself or others around him. Though his mother worries his behavior would turn others away, the fact that he cares SO much about any pokemon shines through, which speaks volumes in itself to any observant pokemon trainer. It may be hard to uncover, but deep down he has love and respect for everyone, and never acts with malice.

Personality: He can come off as cold and uncaring to many, but in reality he is just awkward, as most of his life was spent on Iron Island. He preders to let his actions speak for him and, while often holding a state of neutrality, will fight till his last breath to preserve his ideals.
Background: From the time he was born, he spent most of his life on Iron Island. He had been in several trips on points in his life, sometimes gaining a pokemon along the way. On Iron Island his father trained him from a young age in the art of controlling aura. He can use it to detect people and pokemon, and has the power to generate a small amount of light with the blue energy. His first time off of Iron Island was when he and Riley took a trip to Iron Island when he was 7. It was there that he met his partner, a shiny Ralts, abandoned by its family for being different. He took it in and it became his best friend on the Island. His training with the Ralts on the island inspired him to become a trainer and journey later in life, and he would go on to gain more pokemon and battle others. When he left, his dad gave him one final gift; a saber with a keystone for mega evolution as its pommel.
Appearance: His attire is very similar to Riley's, though instead of the blue that Riley wears, he wears a grey over-coat as well as a grey version of Riley's hat. He wears black slacks and light brown boots. Unlike Riley, he keeps his hair short and out of the way. He hides his sword within the coat, always ready to surprise his opponent with one more trick.
