    The most dangerous predator...

Watching as the woman turned into a flock of birds, Isobella could only scowl. Once again, this woman had chosen to flee, and even more annoyingly so. Having to fight this druid girl had become a challenge in tolerance, and patience. She followed the large flock of birds, wondering how many she could take out before falling into the water, and how many she would have to kill to hurt the girl enough. It was a thought that was quickly banished from her mind at the thought of opening herself up that much. Especially with their new guests.

Some time during her action, several animals had gathered, birds of varied types lining the ships and some of the pier. Hundreds of fish, ranging from small guppies to even a whale now encircled the boating area, enough to make any fisherman jealous. The pier itself had been lined with a gaggle of land creatures. Rats, cats, and dogs sat waiting, some of them looking around confused, others staring up at the flock of birds if looking for attention. They had been called here, summoned by this woman, yet none seemed to be truly connected to her.

This was a threat she was thankful for. The girl had seemed to forgo fighting once again, yet had now somehow amassed a furred army for herself to fight. It would prove ineffective, but was still something to be admired.

    And Hated.

Her opponent was drawing others in to fight for her. Relying on the strength and numbers of others. Isobella had seen rarely any of the woman's skills, other than the song and the wind, and had no reliance of herself. Once again anger flared inside Isobella. Having fought and trained for so long, forgoing sleep and rest to gain her freedom. Yet here, in a battle of two, this woman did nothing but run. Even the strong winds was nothing more to gain distance. And even one the octopus had shown, she had chosen it over their fight, even with the game masters pitting the two of them together.

If it was a trial to show Isobella the power of others, it was wasted on deaf ears and blind eyes.

Isobella once again looked to the flock of birds, knowing that with the gaggle of sea creatures, and mostly ruined ships, she had a decent area to land once again. She wanted to end this, not by delaying and running away, but head on. Will against will, resolve against resolve.

With a glance to the mast, she looked again to the waters, and headed over, sending a few of the birds in her way skittering. One quick strike through it broke it, enough that she could already hear the groan of wood as it started to slide down. Pointing her blades, she left the boat, listening as the mast finally careened into the water, landing with a splash, and more than likely scattering a number of the creatures inhabiting the waters.

Isobella walked the pier, animals moving away from her and clearing a wide berth. Anger and loathing seethed from her very core. Anger at the woman for running away again, delaying the fight even more. Anger at the game masters for pitting her against such a weak willed woman. Even anger at herself, for however she had come to this situation, stuck on a useless pier against a cowardly woman. She thought back to the woman she had seen atop the mast, her face showing anger, steel, even a fire in her eyes, like that of an enraged lion.

To Isobella, it was nothing but a farce.

Isobella stopped in the middle of the pier, a 5 ft circle of animals around her. She began to focus, her eyes flicking up to the birds once again, including those scattered by the falling mast.

Muscles tensed as she pivoted her left leg back, knees bending some to better support her weight. She flipped her left blade, reversing her grip and positioning it behind her, a slight pull on her shoulder as she set it in place. The right blade extend up, tilting so that the point would rest near towards her left shoulder. With her body set, she began to prepare.

She focused, stripping away the distractions of the world. The incessant cawing of the birds slowly faded from her hearing, leaving nothing but the beating of her heart. The smell of animal began muted, as her mind sharpened.

Deep breaths, the rush of air slowly matching the rise and fall of her chest. The pounding of her chest slowed, the world stalling as the world came into sharp relief, colors crisper, details finer. Even her reflection in the blade was cold and calm, the inside matching the outside.

If this woman was able to commune with nature, she would show her the most frightening animal known to all. Mankind.

For what they lack in power, they make up for in will. Isobella would prove that here and now, that her will was dominant, and no amount of animal would ever break her.

Fiona watched the woman while she was in her bird form as the woman chopped down the mast of the last ship, sending the birds that had been resting on it scattering. As the mast fell the creatures in the ocean darted away before eventually moving back after the mast settled partly in the water, partly leaning against the edge of the ship. Did she care nothing about anyone or anything but herself and her fight that she'd needlessly destroy whatever she could in order to relieve her anger when things didn't go her way.

As she began moving toward the docks and pier, the animals in her way parted like the Red Sea, leaving her a big space on the dock. Though the silence of the creature's was eerie. None made more sound than the scratching of their nails on the wood, or the occasional ruffle of feathers. Fiona was pleased to see that everyone kept their distance from the woman. She didn't want more creatures to get hurt, or killed. She hadn't meant to call them. But now that they were here....no she couldn't rely on them.

Changing from her bird form in mid-air, Fiona landed lightly on the fallen mast that the woman had chopped down. As she landed, birds took flight swirling around her like her own little tornado. It brought a small smile to her face, to see their reaction to her. Like long lost family, welcoming her home. Her smile dropped, she was not done. Not yet.

There still remained this woman who lacked compassion and she meant to finish it. Hopping down onto the deck of the ship, Fiona moved toward the crouched woman. As she moved, the animals on the docks that were near her, clamored for attention and she let her hands run over their fur as she walked. The beasts in the sea made their own noise, splashing in the water, though there was something about their movements that drew her attention causing her to pause in her walk.

They seemed angry. At first she was confused as to why, then she understood. The sea creature's wanted revenge, wanted retribution for their fellow. It was their right more than hers. Their right to the woman.

Standing still Fiona noticed the shivers moving through her body as the air chilled her wet skin. She recognized that she'd be no use anyways now, if it came down to a physical fight. Pulling herself up onto the railing around the deck, she perched there. To allow her friends access to the woman, she'd have to pull her into the water. Closing her eyes, Fiona began to pull at the sea, gathering it's power much as she had before with the wind. It seemed harder than normal to call for the power, but she supposed her dip into the water was responsible for that. The water began to churn under the docks where the woman was standing, lifting slowly after first, but as Fiona mentally pushed aside the cold controlling her body, she gained more control over the water. It wouldn't be long before she shot it up powerfully under the woman's feet to push her into the cold water below. It would be a fitting end. For her body to rest alongside that of the creature she so heartlessly killed.

    Important notes:

Keeper, at some posts it felt like you were doing a lot more actions than what is allowed without giving the chance for your opponent to react. I'm noting this because I do want to see you in future rumble, and I think it's important note that must be taken into consideration when writing a battle post. Even if your character can hit few times Meg was not given enough space on her part and for interaction at all.

There was a point where you didn't give much attention to the shaky boat, a thing that would make actions on itself to be much more altered. The aims were always hitting spots while I think there was not much consideration for possible interaction with the other side. That part where Fiona used the wind for example, should not have been dismissed as easily, mainly when the attack was meant at her.
The attack on the octopus should have happened on your following post and not in that same one (giving enough time for the reaction to take place, otherwise it is counted as too much actions at one post and somewhat untrue for her aim cannot be 100% true).

The use of song was brilliant and very wonderful with the posts!

    Important notes:

Meg, it felt like often you were not fully In character, which draw off some points on that regard. It's important before you write, to fully get into the role you are playing. Be that little girl, think what she would do, what she would say. At some points it felt like you were not completely in sync and therefore it was hard to believe that your player was really the girl she is. I'm stating it now, so you will use it for the next rounds.

When it comes to planning your moves, I think you did well, but I would have liked to see you thinking few moves ahead, mainly with jumpy opponent such as Iso (for example making her stop before you go and handle the octopus)

Loved the song you picked her to sing.

Megilwen moves to the next round!

You both did great, and I really hope to see you both next year as well.
