Personality: She doesn't always look the part but Skyler is a a nerd at heart. She loves working with tech and often will get lost in it tuning out everything and everyone around them. Many people see her as rude because this but it isn't her intention she just looses track of things.
Brief History: Skyler is a the great grand daughter of the creator of the BIM, she has lived a life of practically royalty. Her family is quite rich and well known for the accomplishments of her great grand father. Most of her family makes a living in the corporate world making a living of his technology. Skyler on the other hand is more like her great grand father enjoying to work with the technology. She is one of the lead scientists on the new systems.

Specialty: Sharp Shooting, demolitions, hand to hand combat techniques History: Sidney was an army brat, born in Guam while her parents were stationed there. By the time she was sixteen years old she had lived in twelve different countries. At seventeen her parents signed the wavier allowing her to enlist in the Army. She quickly excelled in marksmanship, but then again why wouldn't she, the first time she held a gun was when she was eight. In addition to shooting Sidney found she had a knack for explosives and was assigned to an explosives ordinance team. She served eight years in the army before deciding that she was tried of being sent all over the world and didn't reenlist.
Sidney ended up back in the United States in the City of Los Angeles where she joined the LAPD but was only with them a little over a year before she worked a joint task force with the FBI and recruited by them. Sidney still traveled a lot with the FBI but it mostly was in the US. At least until she received an offical request to be part of a secret project. Wanting to try something new Sidney agreed and became known as Agent Castor.
What she didn't expect was to fall in love with her team mate. That turned out to be one of the stupidest things she ever did.

Damarus carries the scars of a warrior having a large cut that runs across her left eye. She received the injury during a skirmish with border raiders, luckily for her she didn’t lose the eye. Most days she can been found where a simple clothes, usually a black jacket, with a white blouse, a pair of brown trousers and a pair of knee hit boots. Her long red hair still holds many of the braids and beads that it did when she was still in the army.
Weapons: Despite being retired Damarus always carries at least one of her pistols and her sword on her.
Personality: Sometimes she seems like two different people, for those who knew Damarus before she retired they would say she is a dedicated and fierce warrior. She has a tactical mind that is always thinking at least six steps ahead. As a soldier she was known for always being loyal and true. Since retiring she has let down her guard and relaxed a bit. Damarus has become a good friend to those who frequent her tavern. Just don’t start any trouble or you will be regretting it.
Background: Damarus comes from a long line of soldiers. From a young age she wanted to live up to the Samira name, following in her ancestor’s foot prints. At the age of fifteen she joined the army starting first as her aunt’s squire but eventually worked her way into knighthood and made quite a name for her. She fought in several of the wars before the ten year period of peace. It was during this time she proved herself as a warrior and commander. At the end of the wars she was stationed on the borderlands where she worked to repeal the raiders. Several times over she was decorated by the king for her acts of bravery.
After serving twelve years on the front of battle Damarus was assigned a position in the royal guard where she was assigned to various members of the royal family. The position was meant to be a reward for her years of service but following royals around protecting them from a threat that most likely never happen wasn’t for Damarus. However she had no desire either to go back to the fighting having already seen a number of years of battle. Instead she retired from the military moving into the capital city where she bought the Stonehouse Tavern and Inn. She has happily lived and worked there for several years. The Stonehouse Tavern has always popular location for soldiers both active and retired. When Damarus took over nothing changed. She proudly displays her armor on the wall with a number of other suits form past owners and soldiers.

Standing at 5'9 Remi has a very fit appearance to her. If it wasn't for violet colored eyes and the markings on her face which most think are tattoos or paint, she is easily mistaken for a human. Her dress is very rugged and even wild. For most of her life Remi has lived outside of society and it shows. She tends to stick to furs and leathers refusing to wear anything else. When she first started at the Academy they attempted to get her to wear the uniform but failed.
Personality: From a young age Remi has always been very independent. Most that look at her expect her to be just as wild as she looks and are quite surprised that she is well spoken and refined. She often seems aloof and distant as she mostly keeps to herself. Despite this many people are drawn to her and she is well liked by many. Remi isn't one to push people away or pull them to her. One of the reasons people are drawn to her could be due to her Nymph heritage and she is still struggling to control her aura.

Shadow Magic: She has the ability to control the shadows around her, she can draw them to her, increase them and even travel through shadows. However she cannot create them and her ability to manipulate them is dependent on the size of a shadow. The larger they are the easier they to work with and the smaller the harder. With her shadow walking she can travel through a shadow but it must be large enough for her to fit inside of it and she must know the area she is traveling to. Short distances are easier to do and long distances are very draining on her. She has limited experience on traveling with others through a shadow.
Nymph Aura: Being a Nymph Remi has an aura that draws people to her. It is an inherent ability that she isn't good at controlling. It works by taking an existing attraction to her an amplifying it. The more someone finds her attracting the stronger the pull is. If someone has either no attraction to her or a strong will it has no effect on them.
Combat Style: When fighting Remi will combine her magic and weapons. She will often use shadows to conceal herself in battle and occasionally step in and out of shadows to sneak attack her foes. Before coming to the Academy her skills were very crude and barbaric. She had never been trained in weapons, it showed in her fighting style though it has evolved in the years of training she has had.
Biography: Most of Remi's life she was unaware that she wasn't human, she always knew she was different but didn't know how. It wasn't until she was in her teens that she figured out. Her earliest memories are those of her in a orphanage. Her surname is the name of the city she lived in as is common for orphans of unknown parentage. There was nothing else she knew, by the time she was old enough to question where she came from there was no one in the orphanage that knew the answer. The entire time she lived there it never felt right, she always felt trapped and suffocated in the city. As she grew older she spent more and more time venturing away from the orphanage into the great forest. By the time she was eight she spent more time in the woods than in the city. One day she just never returned, at first the staff of the orphanage spent a lot of time looking for her but the longer she was away the less they cared for looking for her as they already had more kids than they were able to care for.
Most adults would struggle living in the Great Forest, a child should not have been able to but Remi found a tribe of forest people who in a way took her in yet allowed her to be independent. They helped teach her to survive on the land while not forcing her into anything. There she lived on the edge of the tribe and the city spending more time in the former. It was a good balance for Remi and the woods felt more like home than the city ever did. Had she know she wasn't human it would have made complete sense why she was drawn to nature and the shadows of the forest.
Around the age of fifteen a Warrior of Tao was traveling through the woods near where Remi lived. The warrior came across the young girl and was fascinated. Watching from afar the warrior stayed out of sight becoming more interested after they saw her use her magic. It took several weeks of watching to figure out what she was and it wasn't until the warrior got closer that they were able to notice her nature. The warrior was able to see her uncontrolled aura and told Remi she could be taught to control it. As well as her shadow powers if she was trained. At first Remi refused not wanting to be forced into a city again, it took a long time for the warrior to convince Remi there were many natural lands on the Macao islands. Eventually Remi agreed and with the help of the Warriors of Tao was able to learn that she was a Shadow Nymph.
In the years she had been with the Warriors of Tao Remi has learned to fine her craft with both weapons and shadow magic. However she still has trouble controlling her aura, which is why she is often distant from others. When she was younger the draw of her aura on people was different with people wanting to care for a young abandoned child but as she hit adolescence the attraction grew more intense and more romantic. Remi isn't one to use her aura to take advantage of people but she has learned that it is easier to indulge people than refuse them. So if someone becomes infatuated with her she will be intimate with them as the desire will lessen afterwards and refusal only makes the infatuation grow more. This has led to much friction between her and others at the Academy especially former lovers when she has moved on. Because of this she keeps to herself. Remi has a dorm in the Academy but doesn't sleep there often instead she has a area in the woods she calls home.

Name: Avril Blake Nickname: People call her the Dame, or rather that is what she calls herself. Age: 27 Gender: Female Region: Northern Sea Faction: Trader's Guide, more specifically a privateer bordering on outlaw. Personality: Avril is the epitome of sophisticated grace. She presents herself a woman of high society and not one expected to be found on the seas in the face of danger. Well perhaps if she were a officer in the royal navy but that isn't where she is found. Known as a charmer despite the bit of arrogance she exhibits. She has a better than you sort of attitude but strangely it doesn't turn most people off. Avril is the sort of person likely to flirt with just about anyone she comes across, something that has gotten her in trouble quite a few times as she encounters people with jealous companions. She speaks with a lilt in her voice (Somewhat like a Northern Welsh accent).

Weapons: A rapier, a flintlock pistol and a boot dagger in each boot. History: By all appearances Avril is a member of the upper class an image she has worked hard to perfect but couldn’t be farther from the truth. Born with the name Ava Ward to a pair of fish mongers there wasn’t much expected for her but to become one as well. Standing on the docks selling and smelling of fish isn’t what Ava wanted to do for the rest of her life. Her parents weren’t really helpful in her eyes when they were blunt and told her a fish monger’s daughter would never amount to much and that her poor origin would always follow her. Upon turning sixteen years old the Royal Navy began recruiting on docks for fresh sailors. They told a tale of glory, adventure and respect. Ava’s parents tried to warn her the recruiters were trying to sell her a dream and eventually she would wake up into a nightmare but she ignored them and signed on to the HMS Griffin as a sailor.
It was about three years into her enlistment when she realized her parents had been right. Despite the hard work she put in she could never arise about the rank of gunner’s mate. Time and time again when there was a position open it went to someone of better breeding even if Ava was the more qualified. Frustrated with the unfairness of it all Ava considered deserting her post as she still had another three years on her contract. However she was rarely granted shore leave as it was and her lieutenant seemed to suspect her desires and ensured she wasn’t granted it thereafter. Weeks went by with Ava searching for some way out but nothing. Until the ship was tasked to send a team ashore on a known rum smuggler island to set a trap for them. Ava was selected to be a member the assignment and was placed under the command of Commander Avril Blake.
Commander Avril Blake was everything Ava wanted to be. A woman of high birth and station. Ava genuinely like Commander Blake, who had always treated her kindly and fair. They waited for weeks for the smugglers to arrive and when they did the crew didn’t expect to be that outnumbered. The Sailors were slaughtered in the battle that occurred. During the confrontation Ava had been in the jungles hunting. When she returned to the camp she found that the smugglers had killed everyone, taken their bounty and left. The island they were on was in the Eastern Sea so it wasn’t far to the next one over. The crew had a small boat hidden away should they need to get away, unfortunately none of them made it to the boat.
Ava being the only one left on the island realized this was her chance to get away. However she also knew that she would be followed by her low blood and would still face problems trying to make it on her own. Commander Blake was only a couple years older than her and Ava looked very much like her, many of the crew of the HMS Griffon often joked that Ava was Commander Blake’s bastard sister. Ava stole one of Commander Blake’s uniforms from the camp and after burying the bodies of the crew took several of Commander Blake’s personal effects. She sailed over to the next island over and ran across a Royal Navy ship where she assumed the identity of Commander Blake. She recalled how Commander Blake carried herself, acted and even how she spoke. Not wanting to run the chance of bumping into someone that knew the real Commander Blake and being done with the Navy she resigned her commission and joined a privateering company, still under the guise of being Avril Blake.

Powers: Vapor manipulation, Delphine has the ability to control vapors and mist around her. She can turn water into mist. The amount of mist she can create is dependent on the amount of water she near. Unless she is manipulating large amounts of water Delphine can hold it for a while. She needs to be near the water, the further she gets from it the harder to control it is. The longest distance she has been able to control the mist is 15 meters and for about thirty minutes, though that time she only controlled enough water to conceal her. The larger the amount of water and mist she controls the shorter amount of time she can do it for.
A newer skill Delphine has recently learned to do is to actually turn herself into a mist. She discovered it quite by accident. There had been a robbery at a convenience store, the suspect was an inexperienced kid who in the chaos of everything discharged his weapon. Delphine was in the path of the bullet though when it should have hit her she turned into mist allowing the bullet to pass right through her. Since then Delphine as been practicing with the ability and has managed to be able to hold the mist for a max of 3 minutes and 42 seconds. While in her mist form she can move but it isn't that fast. She has also discovered that anything she is holding will turn to mist with her. The biggest problem with her ability to change into mist is that it won't work in cold temperatures. If it is cold she can't turn to mist and if she is already in mist form cold will force her to revert back.
Biography: She grew up in foster care, not knowing anything about her family. When she was a toddler she was found wandering around a park. At the time she was too young to know anything more than her name. The police tried to find her parents but after having no luck she was turned over to the foster system. From there she moved from foster home to foster home. Though none of them were really that bad. All and all Delphine had a good childhood. She was never adopted mostly due to her abilities showing around the age of eight. Foster children are hard enough to find homes for the enhanced ones even more so.
When she was too old for the foster system she moved out and got a place of her own. She had a few random jobs after that but wasn't satisfied being a cog in the machine. Delphine started had hanging out with a group of other enhanced teens during high school. They mostly pulled pranks and small robberies. After a failed robbery where Delphine was almost shot she broke away from the group on her own. She started doing jobs on her own. As she became more comfortable in her powers the jobs became bigger. She started contracting her services on the dark web. There wasn't anything she felt she couldn't steal. Delphine kept enough to live well but it was the thrill of it that kept her doing it.
Her downfall was when she was contracted to clone the hard drives of US Senator Marcus O'Keith. The job was going well, Delphine broke into the offices late in the evening when there wasn't supposed to be many people there. However the Senator returned catching Delphine in his office. She managed to turn to mist and escape but as she did an explosion occurred killing the Senator and three janitors. Delphine had been caught on security cameras fleeing the scene and found herself on the FBI's most wanted list. She was already known to them for her criminal career but wasn't that big of a threat before the bombing. She had even been arrested a few times but they were never able to keep her from escaping. They caught her attempting to cross the border back into Canada. The FBI was ready for her this time and had an enhance person who could control ice with them. They used their powers forcing her to change back. From there they fitted her with a set of cuffs that emitted a low enough temperature to keep her from changing.
After being arrested Delphine insisted she had nothing to do with the bombing but someone had gone through quite a bit of trouble to set her up as the fall guy. She was supposed to have been paid $100,000 to clone the hard drives but $6 million was deposited into her account. Along with a number of fake web posts claiming her to be part of a radical enhanced person group. Senator O'Keith was well known to be anti-enhanced and was a prime target for the group. Delphine still doesn't know why she was framed. Luckily for her she had a good attorney who was able to get her acquitted of the terror charges but there still was her career as a thief to deal with. She plead guilty to those charges to accept a plea deal where she would attend Trennan Academy. Though any problems at the school and she would be forced to serve a sentence of fifteen years in prison.
Personality: Delphine is a cocky woman. She has no problem using her abilities to her advantage. With that she can often come off as arrogant. While living a life of crime she became accustomed to nice things making her a bit of a snob. She knows what it is like to come from nothing and refuses to go back to that.
Other: She is fluent in both English and French, has a heavy French accent when speaking English.

Miranda usually can be found wearing her navy dress uniform or her flight suit. She has a tattoo on the left side of her neck of a Lyre, it is the symbol of the Lyre First movement. The symbol is seen by many people has a racist symbol very similar to the swastika of old earth.

Character Strengths: She has always been a gifted pilot, even as a young child she skipped right over training wheels on her bicycle. By the time she was eleven she “borrowed” her father's hover cars on a regular basis. Being a child of weapons manufacturing company Miranda has used weapons nearly as long as she has been able to walk. She is a marksmen shooter with just about any weapon she picks up. Additionally as with most of the founding families Miranda is trained in fencing and her sword isn't merely decorative.
Character Weaknesses: Affluenza, Miranda was born into a wealthy and influential family. She has never wanted for anything. Always having the best of everything and attending the best schools. She was the last child in her family and a late in life child. Because of this she was raised mostly by the household staff and had few rules growing up. Whenever she got in trouble her father was always there to bail her out. Miranda isn't one to do as she is told and doesn't care about repercussions.
Having grown in a Pre-Concert War, Lyran Empire Miranda has always known many of the prejudices common among the Lyrans. Her father Victor has always been very outspoken on Lyran superiority and that has been passed onto his children. Miranda like many Lyrans believes they are better than the other races. She hasn't had much contact with other races but still doesn't hold a very high opinion of them. The Kel'cyre are the race she probably has had the most contact with and that has only been due to Quentin's relationship with the Queen of Kel'cyre and that doesn't help her opinion any.
What they hope to find: To finally be her own person and not always being associated with her family name, her brother's war crimes or her older sister's political fame.
What they hope to achieve in the New Galaxy: As her sister puts it, a new universe, not connected to the one she came from. A fresh start.
Bio: Born on Lyre in the Imperial city to Sonia Sinclair and Victor Clarke, Miranda is the youngest child in the Sinclair family. Her family is one of the founding families of the Lyran Empire and owner of Sintaris Industries, a weapons manufacturing company. Miranda's childhood was normal for someone born into wealth and status, filled with plenty of nannies and tutors as her parents were more focused on their careers than raising a young child. Why bother when you can pay someone to do it for you? Unlike her older sister Miranda wasn't farmed off to boarding schools and always attended private local schools.
At the end of the Concert Wars Miranda was on the edge of adolescence and things with her family had taken a bad turn. Her oldest sister Quentin, heir to Sintaris Industries was branded a traitor to the Empire then later made President of the Lyran Alliance. While her brother Cedric was convicted of war crimes against the Concert forces most notably the Charabidian Enclaves. Quentin used her new position as President of the Lyran Alliance to get his sentence commuted from death to life in prison. With Quentin moving away from the family business and Cedric in prison the board of Sintaris Industries lost faith in the Sinclair family. A board vote ousted them from control of the company. The Sinclair family still gains income from the company but no longer has a controlling interest. With that any guarantee of a place in the family business was small.
It didn't help that as a teenager Miranda began running with a bad crowd. She became involved the Lyre First movement, sticking mostly to their political side. She was involved in a number of political rallies and protests, being sheltered from any of the more serious actions of the group. When Franklin Pierce attempted to kill Quentin she believed the organization that he wasn't acting on orders or was sponsored by them. Mostly due to the fact that despite many investigations by Lyran and Concert authorities they were never able to find a link. Pierce took that secret to the grave when he killed himself rather than be arrested.
Miranda became a member of the Lyran Imperial Stellar Navy for her mandatory service and after it became clear she wasn't going to be able to get a position in Sintaris Industries she stayed. She became a pilot in the Navy being able to use her love of flying to earn money. Her activities with the Lyre First movement decreased but her belief that the Lyran Alliance would be better off without the Concert meddling in their affairs remained. While on leave from her Navel posting Miranda was arrested during the raid of a Lyre First compound believed to be involved in the bombing of several non-Lyran businesses in the Imperial city. Miranda had nothing to do with the bombings but was still swept up with the others. It was only due to Quentin that she avoid charges. Quentin pulled a number of strings and cashed in most of her favors to get Miranda selected for the Concert's Exploration Ark in hope that she could get a fresh start away from everything.

Kronlyn is a handsome man, as many on Terra would say a silver fox. He always has a smile on his face but there is a sadness behind it that anyone can see.
Character Strengths: Expert surgeon, Kromlyn has been in the medical field for over 150 years. He has worked in some of the best hospitals on Kel'cyre. He is one of the leading surgeons in the nation.
Character Weaknesses: Kromlyn doesn't open up to people. He is friendly and courteous those who meet him rarely learn much about his personal life. It is only his oldest friends that truly know him and there are not many of them left.
What they hope to find: A new purpose in live.

Bio: When the Lyrans attacked the concert Kromlyn lost everything he had. His wife, two sons, three daughters and sixteen grand children. He had been working on as a ship physician aboard a luxury liner during the attack and was in space. He had only taken the job six weeks before after a failed attempt at retirement. Sitting around at home hadn't worked out well for him. Kromlyn was driving his wife crazy. Lyaera had been the one to encourage him to take the position, it seemed liked a good deal, he would spend nine days in space then have five off before his next rotation. It was a good deal, gave him enough time to spend at home but still a chance to practice his craft.
At the time of the attack he was three days into a cruise. The liner was routed back to Kel'cyre to assist in the evacuation of the planet. Kromlyn's family was in one of the cities with the most causalities. None of his family survived. Not able to handle the loss Kromlyn thrust himself into helping those injured in the attacks. He worked aboard one of the many medical ships dispatched to help. He was there the entire length of the war and even remained until all operations were complete.
For his dedication to helping his people Kromlyn was awarded Kel'cyre's highest civilian honors. Once recovery operations were over he went back to work at the hospital once again throwing himself into his work. Whatever he could do to keep his mind off of the loss of his family. It wasn't enough everything reminded him of his family. He sought to get away from Kel'cyre and joined the Concert Medical Corps. With them he traveled all over the galaxy helping others in need. When the news of the Exploration Ark came he was one of the first to volunteer.

History: She has always lived a small life, being born to a maid at King's College. She never knew her father, all her mother ever says about him is that we was a student at the College. Despite all her asking Kyrie could never get more than that from her mother. The servants at King's College live on Campus, including their families. So that is where Kyrie grew up. From a young age she has always had a deep love for books. Mostly because her mother was assigned to the library and would let her play there while she worked. Often the librarians would scold her for being too loud and bothering the students. Fortunately one of them decided that teaching her to read would keep her quiet while her mother worked. Her deep love of books was born.
Always a bright girl, when she came of age she applied to the college but despite the scholarships available and her aptitude she was denied. King's College is known as a school for the elite. All of the high ranking nobles send their children there. The alumni is the best of society, including a number of royals. The scholarships for the under privileged usually go to those who are lesser nobles and they would never allow someone so low born among their ranks. The bastard daughter of a maid doesn't meet the cut.
Refusing to give up she took a job as a library page. It allows her to work in the library and still have access to the campus. She is often found in her off time studying in the library or sitting in on classes. She can't officially enroll in the college but many of the instructors allow her to be in their classes as long as there is room. Her desire to learn has impressed many of the instructors who have petitioned the administrators to grant of her a scholarship. It has fallen on deaf ears as once again her application was denied.
Personality: She is a very friendly person always wanting to help others. She understands the differences of classes having grown up on the edge of both worlds but that has never stopped her from making friends. Even with those who are her 'betters'. Often times she can be found in the library tutoring students who aren't afraid of getting advice from a low born bastard.

Words of Power: You have the ability to bring what you write to life. The longer you write, the more descriptive it is, the more powerful it is when it comes to life. Need wood to start a fire, write it in your book and watch it come into existence in front of you. Just make sure you have enough room for the object to appear. If it's bigger than the area in front of you it will crush whatever it appears on top of. There is a price to this power though. Normal ink will get you nowhere. Your creations will only come to life if you use your blood as the ink. For something can only be created when you give something in return. Bigger creations, longer descriptions, more powerful creatures, will all require more blood. You might need to find an alternate source of power to fuel your needs.
