[M] Fire Corps (OOC)

San Andreas you are accepted. The IC is up. If anyone else wants to join the story there are still a few more slots but I am closing the Fire Corps and Elutrians. If you want to join you will have to be a Teryan or a rebel of some sort. Try to balance it out a bit.

Also I tend to write longer posts but it isn't required though I would like to see posts be at least 2-3 paragraphs.

Ranulf has taken to dressing like his mentor and commander Alistair; though without the ranking and less ornate then the commander. Even wearing the uniform off duty, though his size serves to deter people from mocking the style of dress.

Spoiler: Biography: 

Ranulf was born a small and sickly child. A condition that continued through much of his childhood. One that was filled with beatings and harrassmen from his peers and his father. Ranulf was beaten until he began to grow. By fourteen he was fully grown.

His new height allowed Ranulf to hand out the beatings rather then recieve them. Before his growth spurts Ranulf pushed himself as much as he could, working harder and longer then others in an attempt to be strong enough to protect himself. Once he was, no one was able to stop him from getting his revenge. Shortly after word got out of the brutal beatings he handed out, Ranulf was conscripted.

The large man excelled at his training, his teachers were impressed with the brutality he showed while sparring. Unfortunately, they failed to teach him to temper that brutality. During a battle his commanding officer ordered a retreat. Ranulf not only refused the order, but he also punched the officer breaking the other mans nose.

As Ranulf was being led to the gallows for execution an officer of the fabled Fire Corps ordered the large mans release. Having saved Ranulf from execution, the fire corp officer earned his respect and undying loyalty. Ranulf would happily follow Alistair through the gates of hell.

Spoiler: Extras: 

Ranulf wears 2 ammunition pouches. one contains standard lead balls. The other contains packets of shot wrapped in flashpaper. These get loaded into the dragons. When the weapon is fired the flashpaper ignites releasing the shot to spread across the battlefield.

Still active. For the first post Niamh was just selected to be the princess' bodyguard by proving how good of a marksman she is and at the same time pissing the Emperor off by drawing a gun on him even if it was unloaded. Greyson ambushed a Firecorps patrol.
