    Default [M] Commission of Angels

(Thanks to Naraness for the banner!!! We love it)

(Rated Mature for Violence, Language, and all other materials that fall under the rating.)

    A Setsa and Rayne Production

    IC

The city of Los Angeles has been ruled by the mafia for as long as anyone can remember. A place where the Unions keep jobs, street-gangs aren't as prevalent as they once were, and there is organized chaos. The Commission of Angels, as it's called, is a mafia with four families serving under a single Godfather named Tobias Serenata. Each of the four families are responsible for a different purpose of the family business- money laundering, transport of illegal goods, security services, and actual businesses for evidence disposal.

This will be a modern-day mafia roleplay, so it will be modern weapons and vehicles, but stay honest; we deal in military weapons but we're not going to be carrying them everywhere with us. And you'll need to keep in mind all evidence you leave behind- fingerprints, DNA, footage on security cameras, ect ect. Wear masks when robbing places, gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints, wear clothes that cover as much skin as possible to avoid leaving evidence. Take whatever preventive measures are necessary to leave as little evidence as possible.

That said, your character can be anything less than a Capo (Captain), meaning you might be a mademan, an enforcer, or associate. Whatever your rank, you will show respect to those above you. Now we need a variety of people to make up the ranks, so don't just claim mademan or enforcer because it's a decent rank. Remember, the higher rank your character the less they participate in the more illegal activities personally, instead having it done more often than not (with some exceptions).

    Rules:

    1. All standard RPA rules apply, obviously.

    2. No Godmodding

    3. Up to two characters allowed per person.

    4. Respect everyone. You may disagree on things, or maybe you don't like their attitude, and that's okay. People are allowed to disagree, but you WILL show respect. If you cannot resolve your issue, bring it to us and we will fix the problem.

    5. Keep it realistic. You're not a millionaire with a million dollar car, a mansion, and a thousand weapons. Your weapons will be simple, the most attachments being a silencer on most weapons. Knives aren't fancy, and your cars aren't tuned for 200+mph. Keep it simple, and there won't be a problem.

Now, on to the big NPC's.

    Spoiler: Dons and Bosses

    Family Functions:

McBride- Services include a safe place to put away your cash, gamble it away, or clean that bloodstained money you keep getting.

    Casino
    Irish Pub
    Bank
    Laundromat
    Angels For Children Charity Organization

Salvatore- Services include safe travel to-and-from important drug/arms deals, and delivering items discreetly, or repairing your vehicles and erasing vin numbers/changing plates.

    Taxi Service
    Auto shop
    Courier Service
    Hotel/Restraunt

Bourean- Provides body guard services, armored vehicle transport for personal or business uses, investigations, and evidence disposal.

    Romanian Bar
    Security Firm
    Scrapyard
    Construction

Serenata- Provides first-class transport out of state and out of country, as well as a limo with escort service for those important business meetings.

    Escort Service
    Limo Company
    Shipping Company
    Gas Station Franchise
    Italian Bar

Note: They all work together, and yet are in competition with one another as well. The Serenata and Salvatore families are both Italian- the original families of the Commission and as such, they have a much friendlier relationship with one another than with the others.

    The Bourean family is Romanian.

    The McBrides are Irish.

We will be forming contacts with the Russians, and we will be making enemies of the cartels when we do, since we'll be interrupting their businesses while we do so. For now our major enemies are law enforcement agencies and local street-gangs, or bikers. That being said, we do have some outsiders who we can rely on.

The Celtic Raiders- A biker gang that covers a large portion of the western United States, they are dangerous and volatile. They can be difficult to control, but are effective in disrupting enemy transports, and trafficking whatever contraband the families bring in. Their leader’s name is Jeremy Fischer, or Hawkeye.

The Killerbats- A gang that has infiltrated nearly every major city on the East and West coasts, with a belt of allied gangs between, they have a reach that allows them to take out targets or gather information. Their leader’s name is Ian Bishop, a man well known for committing hits for the families.

Both of those groups are NPC's, and off-limits for main characters, though you can make former members. They are not to be harmed in any way, and to do so will result in your characters death.

We will be posting the list of some informants commonly used by the higher-ranking members of the family (Enforcers and Mademen), as well as some Underbosses and Capo NPCs. In the meantime, we are accepting characters.

We're still discussing things, but I'd say five enforcers to start off with, not including ours but that's not a solid answer. For the most part we're still putting together all the other information (informants, contacts, ect ect).

As for the prostitution, again, that's something we haven't thought about yet but once we know, I'll let you know.

I'd say just to be safe and to prevent any risks of having a unwanted mod encounter we should just either not do it or not make it a major aspect beyond maybe a passing mention about business.

    Also.

Do you need a gun nut?

ok, I'll put up an Enforcer for the Serenata Family.

Having prostitution doesn't mean you have to slutty detail about it, Easy enough to post it as a business aspect point of view.

Yeah, I was thinking if we involve prostitution it would be background, more like a brothel type of deal. Anyways, a gun nut would be good. Mostly concealable weapons are needed, ones that won't be out of place like pistols and knives. Some jobs might require special weapons (hits needing sniper rifles, or hitting armored vehicles needing something with some power behind it). Our weapons dealing means we have limited access to military grade weapons, but they obviously aren't going to be commonly used.

Think you could lend your knowledge once more?

I know several people who would prove that statement quite wrong based on just their normal posting.
But I digress, it's just best we don't touch that can of worms at all but I'm also aware that this being a RP about organized crime also means that so,e things will inevitably show up.

Also I'm going to say this now.

If I see anyone wanting thermite grenades I might just hack their computer.
    We don't need that crap.

    And heck yes.

Provided I can be a made man with a "legit" gun range business.
