As she was saying this he was already advancing on her, growling with his monstrous teeth barred as he continued tossing pieces of his armor at her with a deadly amount of force. By the time he reached her he was down to his gauntlets and his boots. Upon coming into range,he quickly dropped low and was about to send his gauntlet clothed fist into her solar plexus. " OH YOU AREN'T READY FOR MY WORST! ", he yelled.

Ryka saw the beast tearing off pieces of its armor, no doubt making it faster.

No doubt more vulnerable to attacks, She thought. Exactly how fast he was, however, she didn’t know. He’d have to test him. She looked down, and saw him about to take a swing at her with an armored gauntlet. She stepped back just in time, the gauntlet barely skinning her nose, drawing a little blood. She immediately countered with her staff, aiming for his now unarmored belly.

Miles was caught off guard by her surprising speed. Well I didn't see that coming, He thought to himself.
He glanced down and saw the staff coming. Gotta think fast, Gotta think fast..He dived forward and opened his mouth , His teeth and fingernails extended instantly growing longer and sharper, He clamped down on the staff while it was in motion. He had only one thought at he bit down. THIS.WAS A BAD. IDEA. OW

Ryka tried to shake the staff loose, but the globe was firmly lodged inside the beast’s mouth. He was really strong, and resisted any attempt to move the staff. She reached towards her belt looking for a dagger or some other weapon she could use, but found nothing. She had to think fast. Surely this beast would pry the staff from her hands in a moment. Then she had an idea that drew a sick grin from her face. She concentrated her power into the staff, and the globe started to glow red inside the thing’s mouth.

“Let’s see how you like the taste of a light beam!” She pushed the staff forwards, trying to further force the globe into the beast’s mouth before he realized what was happening.

Miles noticed a red glow emanating from his mouth. That certainly can not be good, he thought.
He quickly realized he had to stop her from charging up whatever she was doing. He brought his fist back and slammed it into her head as hard as he could.

God dammit! She turned to face the beast, unarmed. She had no choice, she had to summon the Fury. She knelt down, and brought her hands together. White streams of light flowed around Ryka’s body, slowly forming pieces of armor around her body, forging the Fury’s armor. Pure, white light shone from Ryka’s eyes as she was completely taken over by the warrior spirit. As the transformation finished, Ryka was now the Fury. Or at least, the Fury was contained inside the armor she wore, which dictated her very movements. The armor itself could only be described as angelic: It bore pure white and gold plate, thicker than Ryka’s steel plate. Steel greaves covered her legs and more thick steel covered her arms. However, Ryka still lacked a helmet. She was merely a spectator at that point. The Fury held out its hand, and the globed staff flew back and was caught in its grasp.

“You seek to defile this sacred ground!” The Fury yelled in a deep, distorted voice. It twirled its staff.

“You will feel the wrath of an Angel!”

Miles spit at the angelic warrior that stood before him now. He may be somewhat weaker against these holy beings but they lacked his passion for bloodshed. Miles charged past the bright angel that the lightning bringer now was. He grabbed his sword from where he had left it. He raised it up to a ready position and roared at her.

“Die!” The Fury charged towards the beast, each step cracking the stone beneath them. The Fury was much stronger and resilient than Ryka herself was, and it used this to its advantage. It no longer needed to dodge and weave between the beast’s blows, and so it simply charged straight towards the hound, and swung the globed staff as hard as it could, leaving a vapor trail following the staff.

Please let this work, miles thought. He smashed his sword into the globe of the staff as it swung towards him., hoping that the combined force of the angel's immense strength and his own would be enough to shatter it.

What does this beast think the staff is made of? Glass? The staff and sword clashed, sounding a loud Bang! As they glanced off of each other. The Fury held the globe out in front of him, and it glowed an angry red.

    Come on, burn you demon!
