Default Ryka " Lightning Bringer " Crow VS Miles " The Hellhound " Wesler

The Hell hound stood on the church stage. Decorated in rusting, black iron, plate armor, he impatiently awaited his prey. The smell of blood permeated from him. His clay-more rested at his side and swayed ever slightly with every heavy breath. The dog of war was ready to kill.

Ryka opened the heavy wooden door to the church. She wore her usual steel plate and helmet, reinforced with her own light magic. She held her staff out, a light shining from the spherical globe on the end.
She sensed a dark evil in this place, and saw it on the podium, a beast of a dog. It wielded its own massive sword and armor. It's filthy fur bristled as she walked closer. She smelled blood on him. It had obviously killed before. No matter. She will banish the beast from this plane of existence.

" GREETINGS HUMAN! I'M GOING TO ENJOY RIPPING YOUR INSIDES OUT! " The Half Breed said as pounced towards the lightning bug, about to squash her with the sharp end of his sword. He was coming down on her.

Ryka steadied. She couldn’t let this beast get the advantage over her. She twirled her spiritwood staff. In an instant, she scanned her opponent. He was fast, this she knew. But it seemed that he was a bit weighed down by his armor. She had yet to see just how strong he was, but Ryka saw how expertly he wielded his sword, and decided against engaging him head-on.

I’ll go for the safe road, She thought. She thrust her staff forwards, the globe on the end glowing red, then yellow.

Let’s see you dodge this, you monster. She shut her eyes. The globe reached a hot white, then the light inside exploded out in a blinding flash of white, engulfing both of them.

Miles wouldn't lie, that hurt. The rust on his armor caught fire, burning brightly as he flew back. Due to his weight, he only flew back a couple feet and landed with a loud clang, cracking the wood floor, but that blast was just enough to keep his opponent from being cleaved in two. " Well aren't you full of surprises? " He growled with a large malicious grin, red eyes wide in excitement. Isn't she powerful, He thought to himself. He brought his sword back up and got into a offensive stance. " SHOW ME WHAT ELSE YOU CAN DO?! " He screamed.

Ryka grinned. She had to admit, using her powers was a lot of fun. But she couldn’t get careless. She twirled her staff again, the globe on the end red hot. She also summoned her holy blade in her other hand, the pure blade of light illuminating the church interior. The blade didn’t physically cut, but it passed through armor and paralyzed any limb it touched for a few seconds.

Time to end you, beast. Ryka ran towards the hound, and swung her globe-ended staff towards the thing’s head.

Miles had been waiting for her attack. He bought his sword up quickly and smashed the flat part into her hip. Sending her flying back towards the front wall of the church. " FLY WITCH FLY! " He roared at her.

Ryka didn’t see that coming. She quickly stood up, and brushed herself off.

Right then, he’s definitely strong… She checked the globe on her staff. It was dark again. Good. She checked the hound. That armor looked very heavy, she wouldn’t be surprised if he couldn’t move very fast while in it. She started to strafe around him, gauging his movements. Suddenly, the globe ignited into a white flame once again, and she shot a concentrated beam of light towards the hound.

I'm not dodging that, am I He thought to himself as the beam of light smacked into the back of his armor, cracking it due to the intense heat. It seared his flesh painfully. He realized he couldn't stay in the armor forever. He glanced back at his opponent, seeing that staff was the source of her power. " You'll have to do better than that, Human. " He took his helmet off, spun on his heel to face her and whipped his helmet at her head. " LETS SEE HOW YOU DEAL WITH 20 POUNDS OF IRON TO THE FACE! " He boasted loudly.

The hound was taking off its armor, the seared flesh of its back exposed. Suddenly, he spun around and threw the heavy armor at Ryka, who was too stunned by the feat to move.

“Oh shi–” The armor whacked Ryka in the hemet before she could move, knocking her flat on the ground, splitting her helmet along the side. Blood trickled down from her cheek. She took off her helmet, and dropped it onto the ground, the jagged piece of metal rolling away. Ryka wiped the blood away with her sleeve, and held her staff at the ready, the globe glowing red.

“Come on, you demon. Do your worst.”
