If I remember correctly the judging last year was based on creativity/strategy and writing.
Yes, however give us the option to have freedom in our CS creation with the class theme in mind
No, let us just create our own CS without any theme/class to it

I saw those, and I found them far too subjective and arbitrary. I prefer a more objective, quantitative way of determining who wins... such as damage dealt minus damage taken.
Of course, I'm the type of person who doesn't participate in competitions if I don't feel like I have a chance of winning. And with such an abstract scoring system... I don't see a clear path to victory, and probably won't participate.

Writing isn't clear and concise, though, so I don't think that would work. You can't quantify writing.

Sometimes it's pretty clear... like if someone is dead, they obviously lost.

Please stay on the classes topic for now xD
We will talk about the judging system when I put up these threads
uhhh no
because people can dodge attacks and you aren't allowed to write an attack that automatically kills a player

Okay. Classes. I mean it. I haven't even put up anything regarding to the battles or judging yet. So please just stay on the classes opinion.
I need to understand what layout I wanna go for this year's rumble first.
On classes... hmm... how about giving the people the option to design their own class?

Explain more?
I liked the premade character sheets last year, only because it made the characters relatively evenly powered and interesting, with many abilities being able to defend against others.
