It was a gorgeous day, the sun shown down across the waves causing them to sparkle and shimmer. The sand under her bare feet was warm and relaxing. The seagulls above called out to her as if to say hello. Ainslie loved this beach. It usually didn't have many people and the scenery was something of dreams.
The scene and beautiful imagery just seemed to flow from her fingers onto the canvas in front of her, the beautiful blue green of the ocean mixing with the tans and yellows of the sand. Why was she here again? She had already painted this beach many of times, even a few times already this week.
She knew why. She wanted to catch a glimpse of him again. The incredibly handsome man that she couldn't get out of her head. Every day she had been here this week, he had came around lunch time. Always bringing Jerry something with him. Jerry was the homeless man who had kind of taken up residence under one of the benches. She could see why he would choose here.
It never failed, though, this handsome stranger always brought him something to eat and talked to him for awhile as if he was like a real human being. It was refreshing to see, and she couldn't help but be quite taken with this man despite her never having actually met him. His smile rivaled the scenery when it came to beauty. His eyes seemed to sparkle in the sunlight, to the point where she had actually considered painting him before. That would be creepy though wouldn't it?
Dark red locks hung down over her exposed shoulders, tanned from the many days in the sun. Her blue halter top sun dress hand just past her knees and blew in the breeze. It was almost that time, the time when he came for his lunch. Every time she saw him it just left her wanting more. What was it about him? She wasn't quite sure, but she knew she wanted nothing more than to see him again.
