"Does he gamble at all? In any section of the casino?"

I hadn't thought of that, Morgan thought. This Knight may be more capable than he appears.

Ronan answered, "All leprechauns gamble at least a little in each of the casino levels. It helps to keep up appearances at the very least. Your target, however, spends an inordinate amount of time gambling. It's obscene. He even spends large amounts of time in the Cash Casino. I can't understand it."

"Does he like any kind of valuable more than another? For example, does he prefer rubies over cash? Or does he just like the gamble? Also, what time is your meeting?"

Morgan could see an idea starting to form and thought he might have an idea of what his ally was thinking.

"Ah, an excellent question!" Ronan exclaimed, "I can't believe I had forgotten to mention. The ceremony will officially begin promptly at dawn. You need to keep him busy until sunset to be sure, although a couple hours should be sufficient. The location of the meeting is a well-guarded secret, but if you can keep him in the Casino until the day is past then you will surely receive your due.

"As for his interests...he is very...human his tastes. Gold, jewels, fine furniture...I've even seen him exchange in the Bazaar for human girls." He throws up his hands in exasperation at this last point, and Morgan could feel the tension in the room rise.

Morgan himself felt the idea of selling mortals as chattel distasteful, but the glimpse of pure righteous rage that seemed to surge through the Knight for a brief instant was truly a terrible sight to behold. Had there been any pity in Morgan's heart for Niall, Ronan had successfully dispelled it.

As the son of Chicago's DA, Human trafficking wasn't completely a foreign concept to Adam; and there wasn't much he could do about the mortal versions of it. Immortals using humans as cattle was a different story. Flashes of darkness and blood coursed through him, and he heard a distant scream. Taking a breath, he noticed the older man looking at him.
"Thank you, that's all the questions I have."

Polly was impressed with the cashier. He'd asked the right questions - and before she had really had the chance. She could see the blonde man's plan forming. Obviously, they'd need multiple strategies to ensure success, but he had a solid starting point.

After the last question was answered, Polly was less concerned about her involvement in the Leprechaun's disappearance. While trafficking was fairly common in the supernatural world, she personally found it distasteful and avoided it when at all possible. The woman did not at all mind causing problems for someone that reveled in the act.

"This will obviously be a more delicate operation, but we should be more than capable of success, Mr. Mac Murchu."

"Are there any maps of this place I would be able to get my hands on? Also, what am I allowed to walk in the door with? I have a few magic pieces I like to keep on my person when going into Fey-towns. As far as non-magic weapons are concerned I have..."

Yuan pulls out his phone and pokes it for a few seconds.

"Way more than I thought I was going to have this week."

Ronan frowned a bit, "As you might have guessed, we don't make a lot of 'maps' in the Nevernever. Even the Casino has a layout change every once in a while. However..."

He stopped for a moment and pulled out a quite large ruby. He stared deep into its heart and the closed his eyes a moment.

"There," He announced passing it to Morgan, "that should do what you want. The enchantment won't last forever, but it'll make it till your job's done."

As Morgan caught the gem, two things happened. The first was that he became instantly aware of the nearest Nevernever crossover to the Casino. The second was that he seemed to have instinctual memory of the entire Casino layout. The sensation made him drop the gem on the table suddenly. The moment it was out of his hand, he had trouble remembering any of it.

As Morgan picked up the gem and slid it across the table to Yuan, the information flashed again, and he said, "That should do what you want."

"As for what you can bring, it's neutral ground under the Accords." Ronan spread his arms in a shrug, "If you cause trouble, you may find you've bitten off more than you can chew."

Morgan looked around the room and realized the only one of them not beholden to the Accords was the Knight. Yuan was both Wizard and Emissary of a dragon. Polly was fey herself, and Morgan had long ago signed as a Freeholding Lord. He found it easier to interact with immortals if everyone was bound by the same laws.

The Knight, on the other hand, was 'just a human' which had potential to be a powerful asset, or a dangerous liability.

One of the great things about being a Knight if the Cross was not being bound by the Accords. Depending on the situation, a knights would promise to keep the laws of hospitality, no one left the court of winter alive without at least that much. Aside from that, it generally was accepted that a sword carrying Knight was going to do what he willed. This thought made Adam smile, he had met Mab on two occasions, both times he'd managed to keep his promise AND still manage to violate the spirit of the promise. She hadn't killed him yet so he assumed she wasn't to angry with how it turned out.

Adam wasn't honestly comfortable with the Korean man holding what he assumed was their magical GPS, but if they were going to work together he might as well trust them somewhat.

In what we do, faith is essential. You above all must learn that not everyone is an enemy in the shadows.

"So. Can anyone here open a Way?"

"I can," Polly said, simply. Getting back to the Nevernever was the easy part.
