"None other. She was not happy."
"None other. She was not happy."
She chuckled. "Well. I know you wouldn't be if the roles were reversed. But hopefully that will stop her prying."

"I doubt it will. We'll see."
"Hopefully." She nuzzled him gently. "I just hope she leaves you alone." She said softly.

"Me too... But hey," he said, looking at her. Let's focus on this weekend."
She smiled. "That's right... And I will."

He smiled and briefly kissed her. "I love you."
She returned his kiss. "And I love you." She murmured.

Later that evening, Julian was preparing slides for his next class when he received an email. He paused and looked at the sender. L.Welkin. He took a deep breath and opened it.
The subject line of the email read "Profiling". Inside, she started her message. "Professor Haynes, I have been looking into the phantom case as you already guessed and I have found interesting leads that you had missed. Putting together the parts of the profile you had created for the phantom, you and I agree that she had someone on the inside it was someone on the inside. Please double check my work in the attached spreadsheet."
Attached to the email was a spreadsheet that had names of female police officers as well as FBI female employees that had been working during the phantom assassin active years. Alicia was included on the list. Next to each name was their years served, role, as well as documented crimes committed or questionable actions they committed along with sources for each item. Included was Alicia's "self defense" murder of a mugger, among other actions that occured around and after the phantom disappeared. All sources were from government websites or newspaper articles. At the bottom on the spreadsheet, she had typed in a note that read, "the phantom could be anyone, even those closest to us."
