[M] Unexpected Deadly Romance (Me and NoviDome)

Rory looked at Julian before dragging him to the car. "Let's go."

Julian followed, trying to calm himself down. He got into the passenger's seat and just stared at the road. He knew he had to get himself together. For Tommy. He took a deep breath and nodded at Rory. "Go."

Rory nodded and started the car, heading to the first area to search.

Julian's eyes were all over the passing outside world, trying to spot the tan car.

After searching a few blocks, Julian got a call from the same number as before. Dallas smirked. "Hello again Detective... How's life? Your boy is doing just fine."

Julian put his phone on speaker., his hands shaking. "Put him on the phone, Dallas," Julian said. His voice sounded more stable, but somehow a little... dead inside.

[Sparkz]

Dallas put the phone on speaker and held it up for Tommy to speak after taking off the gag. "One minute."

"Daddy!" Tommy sobbed immediately. Julian rubbed his face.
"Tommy, my boy, are you okay?" he asked, tearing up again.
"Daddy come get me! I'm so scared, daddy! Please!" Tommy begged, crying. Julian cringed and looked at Rory, silently asking him if he could do anything to trace this call.
"Did he hurt you?" he asked softly. Tommy looked at Dallas with wide, scared eyes.
"N-No... is he going to?!"
"No son, everything's going to be fine."
"Daddy where are you?! Why won't you come save me?!"
"I want to son, more than anything. Can you do something for me? Can you describe what the place you're in looks like?" Tommy frowned.
"Why? Daddy just COME GET ME!" Julian squeezed his eyes shut.
"Please, Tommy. Listen. The bad man in front of you gave me a puzzle, okay? And you have to give me the clues. You can help me figure out where you are." Tommy sobbed.
"I don't know where I am. It looks like a garage but there are no cars..."
"What are the walls made out of, sweetheart?" Julian asked softly.
"It looks like cement... Oh no, concrete..."
"You're doing great, son. Are there any windows? Can you see outside? What about noises, do you hear traffic?"
"There are no windows daddy... I heard a car some time ago but not many."

Dallas looked at his watch, timing the call. As soon as one minute was up, he took the phone back. "Times up. There. Your boy is just fine detective. "You have an hour to find me or else your boy will be a little less then fine." He hung up immediately.
Rory glanced at Julian with wide eyes. Unfortunately on the road, there wasn't much he can do to trace the call. "Garage with concrete walls... With little cars nearby. No windows... Well. We can count our houses. Most houses have windows in their garages and they certainly aren't made of concrete." Rory was a thinking hard. "I think I know where to go." He sped up. "I don't want to turn on my siren. We wouldn't want to alert him that we are nearby."

A few minutes later, Alicia texted Julian. "North end and East end are clear. Did he call again?"

Julian watched Rory in silence, his breathing quick and superficial. He was having trouble staying... present. His body seemed to just want to shut down. "Where are we going?" he asked when Rory drove off.
