James laughed as he heard Tara. "No, it is not. Welcome to the Calypso, the nicest ship on this side of the sea."Tara slowly woke up to the sound of footsteps. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around. "Mom?" She asked weakly.
James laughed as he heard Tara. "No, it is not. Welcome to the Calypso, the nicest ship on this side of the sea."Tara slowly woke up to the sound of footsteps. She opened her eyes slowly and looked around. "Mom?" She asked weakly.
Tara looked at him and then backed up. "Why am I here? How did you get me here!?" She asked and shook a bit. She didn't remember anything.
"All you need to know missy is that you won't be going back anytime soon." James allowed her to back up, grinning as he tightened the bandana. "Charge will come down here and feed you, and once you are feeling a bit more social, you may come up on deck. Just don't try to escape. I promise you being on this ship is better than swimming in shark infested waters. Anything else?"
She frowned a bit and started to shake before she stood back up slowly. "What am I on here for?" She asked and came to the bars. "How did you guys get me?" She asked with a small glare. This man seemed to not care much about what she did.
"For a simple reason, really. People will pay a lot for a princess, especially one with your beauty. As for how we got you, we grabbed you while you were walking in the gardens. It was simple." He gave a shrug. "Now if you will excuse me, Your Highness, I have a ship to run."
She frowned a bit and flipped him off. "You son of a bitch! No one ever thought I was pretty. To everyone in my kingdom, I was ugly." She said to him and sat on her bed, wondering if this man had a crush on her.
James just gave a small smile. Turning, he walked to the door and went above deck. A few minutes later, another man came down and gave her some food.
She looked at the man and frowned a bit as she looked at the food. "What is this?" She asked him and looked pretty disgusted by it. "Is it posioned?"
"Why would we poison it, lassie? You are worth more dead than alive. And its some dried fruit with some smoked meat. I'm Charge, by the way, the first mate." Charge gave her a friendly smile.
Tara looked at him and slowly picked up a piece of the smoked meat. "You seem nice. Could you maybe just tell me what the captain's real plans are for me?" She asked him and then looked at her waist line. "I do need to get some walking in or I'll gain weight."
