Name: Doran Sagona

Race: Dragon-Blooded Half Elf/human

Archetype: Sorcerer(Bronze-Lighting Dragon)/Fighter

Deity: Bahamut, Father of the Metallic dragons, and good Dragons in general.

Motive: Doran overheard the group needed a hand, and he volunteered to give them a hand. The rest is history.

Spoiler: Bonds 

-Ensley Sagona: Doran is always watching out for his little sister, knowing that she tends to get into trouble due to the path she’s chosen to follow.

-Sabin Togar: After the company had run a few cleaning jobs, Goblins can be quite the pests, Doran and Sabin started talking shop over the pros and cons of certain weapons, like daggers and swords. While he might not have trusted the dark elf at the start of all this, he's come to trust her more, especially once she took a liking to Ensley.

-Vashti Azariah Korianthil: While she might be somewhat afraid of his inability to tell when combat is over, begin open ear for her has helped to warm her up to him, and the ability crack jokes help as well.

-Roderic of Cordia: Doran and Roderic have a mutual respect for each others fighting prowess, though Doran does somewhat judge Roderic for how easily he can be swayed with money.

-Torland Stalward: Doran has extreme respect for Torland, as hearing about the hell the man went though, and came out on the other side still able to function is a feat of strength that Doran isn't sure he could boast.

-Shelur Mikar: While she can get overbearing, having another fighter to watch his back in the heat of battle is always a good thing, even if that fighter is a bear ripping off someone's face

Flaws: Doran can get lost in the flow of battle and can take some time to realize that the fight is over, or that goblin is, in fact, dead. While it isn’t super frequent, as he’s gotten better about it, it will crop up in extended battles. Also, he can not sneak to save his life.

Personality: Doran is the rock that others can rest their baggage on. While he will speak his mind, listening to the worries of the others of his party, so that he may help them, is one of his best qualities. He is not perfect, though and has on the rare occasion broken down, mainly if a good friend or companion were to fall in battle and not be brought back from the brink. Is fiercely protective of his little sister, even if he does try to reign it in for her sake. The words spoken by Iona the Honeytounge not quite agreeing with him, but he could understand it the motivation behind it.

Background: With the company on a hiatus, Doran stayed in town, helping to train the local militia so that they could stand up to stronger threats, and act as the watcher for Ensley’s shop. This was mainly during that initial period where she wasn’t as trusted, and a few tried to start something. Key word tried. Now that things have calmed down, he still keeps an eye on the shop, but manly helps to keep her safe when she goes to collect herbs and other supplies.

Name: Ensley Sagona

Spoiler: Appearance: 

Race: Half Elf / Human

Age: 52

Archetype: Healer / Priestess / Archer

Noteworthy equipment: medical kit, bracers that allow her to channel her healing abilities, and a bow and arrow.

Deity: Daega, Elvin God of free love. Daega compared to other gods is seen as a promiscuous and wanton young man. His followers believe that love is something that should be shared with everyone, be it love of family, friends or romantic love. Though most people tend to focus on the latter.

Spoiler: Magical ability: 

Healing: Her half Elvin side has given her the ability of healing, she has studied it all her life since her powers first manifested as a young child. While she has magic she doesn't always rely on it knowing that magic won't always be able to heal all wounds and the use of it is very draining. She uses it very sparingly, reserving it only for the most dire of cases. For most things she uses traditional healing.

Charm: Being a priestess of Daega, she has the natural charm granted to all of his servants. She tends to make friends and lovers out of most people. Though she isn't able to bend someone's will to her own, instead it just gives most people warm feelings. It doesn't affect everyone, the person receiving her charm has to be open to being affected.

Motive: She joined at the same time was her brother, they decided they could help others. Her motivation wasn't solely to help others but to keep an eye on her brother knowing that he gets lost sometimes in the heat of battle and for a very long time she was the only one who could pull him out. Ensley found a home with the company and quickly became their main healer. From time to time she will help fight but mostly she tends to the adventurers after each quest.

Spoiler: Bonds: 

Doran Sagona: Ensley has always been close to her brother, when he began traveling she followed after him. Partly to see the world and partly to look after him making sure he didn't get lost. She loves her brother very deeply and would do anything for him.

Sabin Togar: Since meeting the dark elf, Ensley has been curious of her despite having been raised in the Elvin tradition of fearing and hating their dark skinned cousins. Her beliefs in Daego prevent her from really hating anyone. She has become good friends with Sabin often helping her adjust to the ways above ground or by just providing friendship.

Vashti Azariah Korianthil: Ensley likes the quiet girl and often will try to get a rise out of her. She is well aware that her attentions with the younger quarter elf fluster her but that doesn't stop her any, Ensley loves bringing a blush to Vashti's cheeks. She sometimes will buy herbs from Vashti's gardens especially since she grows some of the more difficult to find herbs.

Roderic of Cordia: Ensley admires the devotion the mercenary shows to Vashti even if she doesn't think relationships like that can last. Despite this she still playfully will flirt with him. The two have grown to be good friends, often in battle they will joke back and forth. Ensley has been known on occasion to fire arrows at the foes Roderic is fighting even though he has things well under control and doesn't need help, sometimes coming close enough to him that he can feel the wind rush past him.

Zogrot Manshucka: At first Ensley was frightened of the large orc finding him very intimidating with his large size and love of fighting. Since joining the group she has realized he isn't as bad as he seems. The only thing that bothers her is half the time she can't understand what he is trying to say because of his odd dialect of the common language. She often will attempt to correct him and when she can't understand him she will switch to Elvish. Though she is baffled how he can speak that perfectly and not the common language.

Galthore the Icestalked: Ensley is very curious about the Bearon having never met one before. He reminds her of a teddy bear she had as a child through she isn't quite sure why, as the only thing the two have in common is being a bear. Over the last two years she has had the urge to scratch behind his ears but hasn't done it not knowing if that would be appropriate.

Shelur Mikar: Ensley likes the half orc despite her sometimes being loud and boisterous. Whenever Shelur gets into her mid winter funk Ensley will try to do whatever she can to cheer her up. Over the last two years Ensley has been doing her best to teach Shelur to read. She has only made the mistake of using an Iona the Honey tongue book once and had to bribe one of the town children to climb a tree to retrieve the book.

Torland Stalward: She doesn't know much about Torland as she often keeps her distance. Ensley isn't really one to talk about it but she is terrified of the man. She always is polite and kind to him but usually will do her best to avoid him.

Acera Shadeborn: When Acera first joined the group Ensley was instantly drawn to her, having always loved meeting new races. Acera was the first Fetchling or Kayal she had ever met. The two hit it off right away with both of them being so upbeat and positive. Ensley was delighted when Acera returned her flirtations and the two of them started an steady relationship with them enjoying each others company. She is quite happy that Acrea has never pressed the issue of settling down as that is something Ensley couldn't do. Most of Ensley's long term relationships end because of this and she likes that she doesn't have to worry about it with Acera. Whenever the Kayal returns to town she is overjoyed to see the wonderful herbs she brings from her travels but more so to see Acera.

Firegale: Ensley still isn't sure what to make of the Inkkin, when they first met Firegale seemed to take an instant dislike to her. Though over time the dislike seemed to change to just an avoidance. Ensley can sense that there is something about her that bothers Firegale but the other woman never wants to talk about it. She can sense pain and anger coming from Firegale though it isn't all directed at her. Not wanting to cause problems with Firegale, Ensley keeps her distance but hopes someday the Inkkin will open up to her.

Flaws: Ensley is a very flirty woman and isn't shy about enjoying the company of others. She has never been one to settle down and has had quite a few lovers. She has broken many hearts along the way not being one who believes in monogamy.

Personality: When she is set about her work she is very focused and can sometimes come across as blunt and uncaring but she is actually quite the opposite. She hones in on the task at hand and her bedside manor suffers for it. When all is said and done though she reverts back to her flirty happy self, unless there is someone she was unable to save. She takes those losses very hard. While she primarily is a healer that isn't to say she won't kill though it always is to protect those she cares about and will usually wound her foe rather than kill, remembering the words of Iona the Honeytongue "Sometimes taking a life is unavoidable but it shouldn't be your gut reaction".

Background: In the past two years since the company has taken a hiatus, Ensley has opened a clinic in town lending her medical knowledge to help those in need. She has also gained the reputation of being a home wrecker. Her attitude of free love was very uncommon to the people of the town many wives and husbands quickly grew to hate her. They boycotted her clinic, at least until they realized they needed her help after a sickness went through the town and she was able to find a herbal remedy to heal people of the sickness. Nowadays her clinic gets a fair amount of traffic but people are always warned to be wary of her charms. In attention to the clinic Ensley leads a small group of people that follow the ways of Daega, at first there was only her and a couple others but now there is a fair amount of people who have accepted the god's love.

Name: Roderic of Cordia

Appearance:


Race: Human

Age: 31

Archetype: Mercenary (Melee Bruiser/Tank)

Noteworthy equipment: A halberd, a shortsword, an amulet depicting Adhmora (his "good luck charm")

Deity: Adhmora, goddess of luck and protection. She is depicted as a beautiful, armored shieldmaiden, and is quite popular with knights and soldiers, as well as bards like Iona the Honeytongue.

Motive: To get paid, of course. And he was hoping it would help him in his goal to have a drink in every tavern across the Southern Kingdoms.

Bonds:
Vashti When he first met her, Roderic was mostly just attracted to her looks, and flirted with her as he did most pretty women. But over time, he grew to appreciate her quiet introspectiveness, and felt he could confide in her unlike anyone he had met before. She was the first woman to really make him feel vulnerable, and for the first time in his life he didn't have the words to tell her how he felt. Although he would never admit it out loud, he is fiercely protective of her, and always has a nervous feeling in the back of his mind whenever she is off fighting alone.

Ensley Roderic was drawn to the playful, flirty half-elf. He valued her sense of humor, and they grew to be friends, often quipping back and forth on the battlefield. Her flirts are deflected with jokes and harmless banter, though he makes it clear that he's taken.

Doran Roderic admires the half-elf's sense of honor on the battlefield, though is wary of him in case he "goes ballistic". However, he trusts that Ensley can keep him under control.

Sabin He was suspicious of the dark elf and her methods at first, disliking her dishonorable ways of fighting. He learned to value her skills, however, and admits that they have gotten the group out of more than one sticky situation. They don't talk much, but he has sometimes caught her studying him from afar. It kinda creeps him out, but he doesn't mention it.

Shelur While Roderic was perturbed by her "unnatural" transformations at first, he grew to appreciate her friendly, over the top personality, and drank with her often. She also gave him some... er, helpful relationship advice, especially before he confessed to Vashti.

Zogrot Roderic finds the orc hilarious company, and respects his fighting spirit (as long as it's not directed at himself, as it was on at least one occassion).

Torland To be quite honest, Roderic is more than a little scared of the huge man. The pain he must have suffered conflicts with his easy-going lifestyle, and it makes him very uncomfortable to watch him fight like he does. However, from the limited interactions he had with the warrior, he seemed a respectable fellow, and the others seemed to trust him.

Morthos Though he is a little... creeped out by the paladin's death-goddess and skull armor, Roderic respects his sense of honor and duty (and is a tad jealous of it, to a degree).

Firegale Roderic and Firegale have a bit of a love-hate relationship. She views him as lazy and unmotivated, but Roderic just thinks she needs to relax once in a while. However, as both are mercenaries, they respect each other's martial prowess, despite the traded insults.

Flaws: He can be a bit selfish, especially when money is involved. He tries to fight for a just cause, but he is often tempted by riches and glory.

Personality: Roderic is a simple fellow. He works, he drinks, he gets paid. He is confident and charismatic, always the first to state an idea or opinion, and the last to change his mind. He fought for nothing but his own life, and knew little of friendship (as he was always moving from place to place), until he met the plucky band of adventurers. He has a great sense of humor, and could laugh off almost any insult to himself (assuming it wasn't too personal).

Background: Roderic served for a long period of his adult life as a knight, defending castles and serving lords. Though he appreciated the training, the job was far too boring for him. He wanted to travel, to see the world and meet (or fight) all sorts of interesting people. So he left, becoming a wandering mercenary and selling his skills to the highest bidder.

Settling down was definitely the last thing on his mind. But after his relationship with Vashti developed, his mind began to wander on things he had never thought about before. Life without constant adventure or danger, a stable, sedentary existence. He has tried his best to get used to a "civilian" life (as he calls it), but the call to action always itches at him.

Name: Vashti Azariah Korianthil

Standing at about 5’10, she has long blonde hair that reaches past her waist. The markings on her face only come out when she taps into her healing power. She has pale skin, and a rather innocent and child-like face with fierce blue eyes and a slight pointe tip to her ears.

Race: Quarter-Elf (Parents were half-elf and human)

Age: 28

Archetype: Archer

Noteworthy equipment: Longbow with a quiver of 20 arrows and a short sword in case someone gets too close, although she has much less skill with the sword.

Deity: Naralis Analor

Motive: Vashti just likes to help those in need, it gives her a sense of self worth and belonging.

Bonds:
Roderic
This is her strongest bond, she loves him dearly and confides in him with everything. She is very protective over him and can get jealous when other women fall into his charms, even if she keeps her jealousy hidden.

Doran
His fierceness in battle was sometimes scary with his inability to stop. He was a good listener and she has found herself able to open up with him and joke more so with him than some of the others, or share with him things that she may not be able to tell Roderic.

Ensley
Not as close to her as she is to her brother, they do have similar interests when it comes to their healing powers, although Vashti’s aren’t nearly as strong. Her outgoing personality offsets her own sometimes in a good way, but often it makes it makes her uncomfortable and she is almost positive the girl enjoys making her flush. Sometimes she sells some of her herbs to Ensley, and Vashti's face is nearly almost red with embarrassment when she leaves.

Sabin
The mask in and of itself makes Vashti almost want to avoid her, but she is kind and does not dislike her. Vashti also enjoys routine, and doing things the way she is used to doing them, not always open to new ideas, which makes Sabin’s curiousity and new idea’s sometimes hard to deal with. Sabin sometimes also likes to take advantage of her gullible nature, and treats her like a child.

Iana
An almost one-sided relationship; Iana rambles and Vashti is always polite and listens. Sometimes she finds it hard to get away even when she needs to, and often has to be ‘saved’ by the others in the group and they will change the subject. Mostly she doesn't mind Iana though, as she doesn't really expect Vashti to talk back.

Acera
Vashti gets along rather well with Acera. With their similar abilities, sometimes she does feel a bit as if she is unneccessary in the group due to her presence, but she loves Acera's positive outlook on life, and her protectiveness those she cares about. Vashti enjoys Acera's company, and she has opened up to her a bit more than a lot of the others. Acera would sometimes be playfully competitive with her, and she would play into it sometimes in a lighthearted way even though she herself is not really competitive at all. Sometimes she was able to remind Acera to think before she spoke.

Zogrot
Zogrot kind of freaks Vashti out. They have little to no relationship and she kind of avoids him considering she can barely understand him anyways.

Galthore
Vashti can tell her shyness and reluctance to join in a lot of things annoys him. In knowing that, it only makes her crawl into her shell more, knowing she is irritating him, and feeling bad for it. Him trying to get her to join in, in turn bothers her, but she barely shows it... Sometimes joining in, only so she doesn't hurt his feelings or annoy him more. Mostly she would try to politely keep her distance as she doesn't want to irritate, annoy, or hurt his feelings.

Morthos
It took awhile to warm up to Morthos, given his intimidating appearance, but she made it a personal goal of hers to try and get past the appearance and find the good in him. It didn't take much as she soon found out that his goal was rather noble. His vigilance in trying to guide people away from an evil path was an interesting one, although she often didn't see the evil in people. His interest in Roderic stirred her curiosity and after some time she was able to converse with him, and found that despite him thinking Roderic was following an evil path, he was seeking the best for their friends, just like she was and she quite liked him. Sometimes she still finds his appearances quite terrifying though.

Torland
Vashti knew of Torland's torment and her heart reached out to him, but because he avoided her - she didn't really push for the interaction. Although her communication with him is minimal considering his short answers and avoidance, she would sometimes bake something for him, or leave him some of the produce from her garden. His stuttering when he did speak to her as almost endearing, as she completely understood finding it hard to talk to people.

Flaws: Her quietness can be perceived as rudeness or arrogance. Gullible. Not very open to new ideas.

Personality: Vashti is quiet and kind, always wanting to find the good in people. Rarely does she get angry or raise her voice, and even if she does get angry or upset it’s unlikely she will tell anyone about it other than Roderick. She is very gullible and likely to believe the things that are told her. She will come out of her shell after knowing someone for awhile.

Background: Vashti was always the quiet one in the corner, shy and rarely speaking up for herself. After the attacks on Groun, she found herself quite drawn to Roderic. He was everything she wasn’t. He was charming, outspoken, funny, and stubborn. Not to mention his dashing good looks, and he seemed to know it too.

Sometimes she still wonders how she came by such a man, but throughout the two years a relationship developed, and she absolutely adored him with every fiber of her being. She was happy with the life they created here, and was completely content with their calm lifestyle of making a home for themselves.

Vashti prefers to do her fighting from a distance, able to hit small targets with her bow from a great distance away. To where she doesn’t have to see the look in their eyes when they lose their life.

Barely elven, she does hold some healing powers. Using these powers takes away her energy, to where mostly what she can heal are minor wounds. She can heal larger ones, but then she can heal less people. If she pushes herself past her threshold, her powers will actually begin to transfer the wounds to her own body, not to their full extent at first, but the more she pushes, the more they will grow.

She has elven markings that around her eye and appear when she uses her healing powers, when she pushes herself beyond where she should, the marks almost burn as a warning, but leave no mark.

Vashti focuses now on making their home beautiful and clean. Working on a garden outside of their small home full of flowers, fruit, and vegetables, just as she was taught to by Iona the Honeytongue as well as cooking and keeping the house clean.
