Maven the Silver Handed

Spoiler: Krokum Runeblood 

Leader of the Runeguard, Krokum is a wise old Dwarf who has grown only more powerful with time. Every square inch of his body is covered in runes. His beard has grown long and is stained blue with magic. The armor he wears glows so brightly as to make it hard for others to stare at him for too long. Krokum prefers to be the first into battle and sees his time as coming to an end. He is hoping a new Runeguard leader will rise to replace him but so far all of the others wish for him to stay in his place of power.

The Burning/Frigid Islands

Spoiler: Shogun Shoda Hokarimitsuji, Warlord of the Burning Islands 

The Shogun of the Burning Islands is known to be one of the current generation's greatest warriors. In battle she has been seen to show mastery over all forms of combat, this is unsurprising giving her military focused upbringing. As some say it is true that the Shogun lets ministers handle most civil manners, for war is her true calling. As an ally of the Five Kingdoms the Shogun willingly joined the war to further show her dominance. One can spot her by her deep red twin horned armor, designed to imitate the Ogres of the island and show herself as the Burning Demon of the Battlefields. To the surprise of some Hokarimitsuji has another gift she uses willingly. She is a burning mage of the islands. Some wonder if perhaps she really is a demon from Destruin, Hokarimitsuji enjoys being seen as a monster. To her it is a tool to be used to control her foes. After the battle of Kasai palace she has allied with Arael and the Deathborne and has gained an undead arm.

Spoiler: Daimyo Orazu Han the Noppera-bo 

Head of the Orazu Ninja Clan. Han is often likened to a Noppera-bo for his ability to disguise as anything and sometimes anything. How he does it is unknown, and he claims to use ninja magic to do so. Han is an acting spymaster and assassin for the Shogun. Little is known about him.

Spoiler: Natsumi the Ox-Tiger 

Natsumi is a massive woman that stands at almost seven feet in height. She is an Oni and is a demon who practices blood magic. The Shogun keeps her close and uses her as the leader and enforcer of the Oni under her control. As a demon she has great horns, fangs, and a thick mane of hair. In battle she wields a greataxe that is painted red.

Spoiler: Daimyo Shoda Nobukage and his wife Shoda Midori 

The parents of Shogun Shoda Hokarimitsuji. They are deeply ashamed of her but are too afraid to oppose her, as the Burning Islands and almost entirety of the Shoda clan follow her.

Spoiler: Daimyo Kamajo Masako the First Shogun/Blood Soaked Shogun(Undead) 

Daimyo of the Kamajo Clan, Masako was the first person to attain the title of Shogun. He did so after a series of bloody wars created a power vacuum within the Burning Islands. Masako helped form the first samurai and took over the country by force. For this he was called Blood Soaked Masako. He was killed in a final battle at Kasai Palace by his son who then took up the role of Shogun. He has been resurrected and given reign over the Munikakke Clan, Munikakke Hidega's former clan.

Spoiler: Daimyo Hokuro Ken the God of War(Undead) 

Once known as the God of War, Hokuro Ken was once a powerful Daimyo who enforced the rule of law on the Burning Islands. He was considered to be an honorable man and a saint. The Burning Spirits blessed him openly in his crusades of justice. He served the Shogun willingly and was known for his ability to predict the tactics of his enemies. His final battle was against Takoda Shin the Tiger of Takoda, which ended in a stalemate. Soon after he died of stomach cancer. Hokarimitsuji has resurrected him using necromancers and has placed him in charge of the Hokuro Clan that he once ruled over.

Spoiler: Daimyo Takoda Shin the Tiger of Takoda(Undead) 

Takoda Shin was a powerful Daimyo who rose to power after the exile of his father. He was well versed in cavalry tactics and is said to have invented the cavalry charge on the Burning Islands. In battle he was a hard foe who used brutal tactics and raw power to dominate the fields of battle. His arch nemesis was Hokuro Ken who stopped him from conquering the nation. His final battle was against Ken and ended in a stalemate. He died of heart failure soon after. Shogun Hokarimitsuji has had him resurrected and has placed him in charge of her cavalry in battle, and has placed him as leader of the Takoda Clan he once led.

Spoiler: Uesetachi Gin the First Kensei(Undead) 

Known as Gin the Undying, Gin was a ronin who had lost favor with the clan she belonged to after failing to defend her lord's honor. She took to wandering and challenging samurai and other ronin to duels. Surprisingly for a ronin she was able to outsmart and outfight everyone she cross. She made a bloody path killing some of the greatest of her generation. It was her who wrote much of the books on Burning Islands swordsmanship and was considered to be a master of all blades. She was the first one to be given the rank of sword saint, kensei. Gin died as an old woman while teaching students she was assassinated by archers.

Wild Elf NPC's

Spoiler: Ashen-Face Gwyn 

Gwyn is a battle hardened Elf and a grand warrior. It is said he is immortal for Gwyn has appeared to have died in battle countless times only too show up later with the scars to match. In battle he wields a massive greatsword and wears the armor of an Elven king. Long ago his kingdom oversaw the expanses of the Iledrith Empire, as he is an ancient warrior king. For a time he disappeared but recently resurfaced seeking to lead the Wild Elves to conquer and claim domain of all the forests of the world. His sword is known as the Airgead Blade, and is made of silver yet is stronger than steel.

Spoiler: Rage Queen Elgwyneth, The Shriek of Death 

Deep in the Western wilds reigns the Rage Queen of the Northern Wild Elves, Elgwyneth. She has lived for ten generations and served eight as their queen. Northern Wild Elven culture is often different from that of other mortals, they are highly war focused and have a great blood-lust instilled into them since birth. Not all Elves feel this calling, Elgwyneth however seemed born for the role. After slaying all of her siblings in the Coronation of Spite Arena she was crowned queen. Her love of the taste of battle and powerful screams earned her the title Shriek of Death. It is said her screeching can peel bark from trees and flesh from bone. At all times she carries her spear Gutseeker which she has wielded in battle since a very young age. Some compare Elgwyneth to a vampire, noting her ability to grow more powerful as she spills blood in battle while turning more and more red and muscular. Elgwyneth wears no clothing or armor, only the skull of her mother as a helm with her entire family painted in the rage of battle across her body. She has six wives, four husbands, one spouse, and thirty seven children.

Spoiler: Horned Kernunous 

Kernunous is worshiped as a god by the Wild Elves. Whether he is one or not is up for debate as not all share the same views on him. At times those of the Wild Woods wonder if he even exists, as he is seldom seen. The leshen know him well and often times he is called Leshy by them. In ages past when humans threatened the Wild Woods with their expansions Kernunous led armies of Elves out of the woods to destroy any nearby cities. Images of him are often soaked in blood as he feasts on trespassers and drinks the blood of humans. Sacrifices to Kernunous are not entirely uncommon. Elves prefer to sacrifice humans to him instead of their own kin.

Spoiler: Gwraig Annwn, the Lady of the Lake 

Known as the Lady of the Lake of the Nymph Queen, Gwraig Annwn is considered to be one of the most beautiful women to ever exist. She is worshiped as a goddess among the Wild Elves and is considered a fairy tale for Barbarian children. Her origins are unknown, it is said she can appear in any body of fresh water in the world and rules over them. She is a powerful enchantress with the ability to grant incredible blessings.

Spoiler: Gwyddion the Sylvan Trickster 

Sometimes people despite all warnings enter the Wild Woods. It is said without the permission of Gwyddion traversing it is impossible. He is an ancient creature also known as the Ent. Gwyddion towers over trees and resembles a large moving oak. Despite his great size and power he is known most for his trickery. He can speak to the very woods and meld reality with the Fade causing trespassers to enter nearly never-ending woods. The Elves sacrifice young trees to Gwyddion who are believed to join him in the Fade.

Spoiler: Cirnubogu 

An ancient creature that is considered to be both Fae and a demon. Cirnubogu resembles a great grotesque with skin as black as the night's sky. He is associated with the Ilderith concept of the Void and is worshiped by the Shadow Warriors of the Wild Woods. Cirnubogu has pitch white eyes, a bald head, and great wings. Despite his demonic influence Cirnubogu is seen by the Elves as the personification of necessary evils in the world.

Spoiler: Soo-il the Raven 

One of the greatest modern warriors of the Wild Elves, Soo-il the Raven is also known as a worldwalker. In his youth he traveled the world experiencing life in many different civilizations that have sprouted up around the White Sea. Some call him the City-Elf for this reason. Always he wears an outfit of raven feathers that is said to give him the ability to fly for short periods of time. He carries a sword with blades on both ends called Buralo. Buralo appears dull but is magically sharp, and able to cut through flesh with ease. But his weapon struggle against armor.

Spoiler: Eadaoin the Willow-Witch 

Eadaoin is known as a witch. She is a creature that brings heavy mists and fogs with her wherever she goes. Her age is unknown but she has walked the woods for as long as any can remember. In youth it is common to see her as she guides children home at night in the Wild Woods should they be lost. Gwyddion and her are arch rivals of one another, but neither can ever seem to find the other. Eadaooin rarely appears to adults and usually only does if they have a great destiny before them. No single wood is her domain. She is believed to be the sister of the Crone. Her eyes are glowing amber and her skin is that of an aged willow tree.

Spoiler: Daithi the Huntmaster 

Hunting is the way of life in the Wild Woods. The Wild Elves both take and give back in an everlasting cycle, never taking too much from their home. Daithi is considered the greatest of the Elven hunters and archers. His bow is great in size and he is able to knock as many arrows as he wants at once. Rumors have begun among humans that he is a God of the Hunt, an ancient being in the form of an avatar. This is due to his incredible feat of firing an arrow into Barbardun from the Wild Woods. He is also an incredibly agile Elf who has pitch white eyes.

Spoiler: Aislinn the Gaoth 

Known as the Wind and Mother of Seasons, Aislinn is one of the younger Fae. She is old enough that the Elves have myths of her birth from a single malnourished willow tree which was saved by an early spring, and young enough for the Elves to have memories of it. She has always been seen as a caring spirit and is one that appears four times a year, at the beginning of each season, in the realm of mortals. Diarmuid Beirne an Elf hero and her fell in love and produced the child Aedan. As a Fae she could not care for him and Diarmuid Beirne was forced to raise him alone. Yet with the changing of each season she was able to visit her son, but has stopped since the day his father disappeared.

Spoiler: Diarmuid Beirne(MIA) 

Before the Barbarians and Elves became staunch allies they waged many wars with one another. Diarmuid Beirne was a hero to the Wild Elves who was known for his agility and skill in battle. He wielded a famous curved sword called Oighre. He one day met the Fae Aislinn and over a single winter they fell in love. They produced a child together the next year with Diarmuid raised on his own. Then one day he left and entered the Fade for reasons unknown to anyone not even his own son. Since then he has been missing, and is assumed to be dead.

Spoiler: Boudicca 

Boudicca is a young werekin. She was saved in battle by Aedan and has since sworn to be a staunch warrior under his command. In her Elven form she has blonde hair and long pointed ears as well as a missing eye. As a wolf she has golden fur.

Trolls

Spoiler: Troll King Grugguhkok 

Leader of the Southern Trolls. Grugguhkok rules through might. Among his people the strongest rule while the weakest serve. He has broken away from his alliance with the Destruin to instead seek wars elsewhere. Whole massive and physically powerful Grugguhkok is surprisingly cunning. Many have underestimated him and it has been the downfall of them. He is a thick Mountain Troll with rock-like grey and blue skin. Large steel plates cover his legs and torso and atop his head he wears a strange spiked black helm. In battle he carries his great mace made of solid steel, Grimbane.

Spoiler: Skull of Throkduggni 

Throkduggni was an ancient spiritbringer. So great was his connection to the spirit world that after his death his spirit lingered on in his skull. The skull is magically protected from harm and whispers the voices of the damned to whoever posses it, allowing them to talk directly to the spirits of the dead.

Spoiler: Wabbachak 

A raid leader of the Trolls, Wabbachak is a slender Troll who is taller than most. He carries a bow into battle and prefers to harass and attack from flanks. Wabbachak is a crude being who is fond of treasure and meats, he loves eating Elf but they are rare to him. He is a lesser lieutenant of Grugguhkok, and is in ill favor with his king.
