[M] Star Wars: Fall of an Empire

A bit of fun with this is going to be syncing up our events to the battle of Endor from the films. Such as Admiral Ackbar's fleetwide messages.

Spoiler: The Hunter 

Artilla stands at an unusual 6'4" with a fairly muscular build, his weight being of 210 lbs. Unlike the typical green of the Nautolan skin, his skin is actually a light-brown color. Due to the rather ruthless training procedures while growing up, his body is covered in many scars. A prime example, would be of his entire backside(from head to heel) being permanently charred black due to burns. These burns to his highly sensitive head-tentacles, had nearly inhibited him from using the extrasensory ability to detect the emotions of others and leave them with a very coarse feeling. Along with their discoloring, however, Artilla had placed certain rings and other ornaments in his black head tentacles.

He wears a sort of tribal armor around the vital points of his body. Artilla designed the armor to be able to take E-11 fire in very minor doses, though, he wouldn't necessarily stand around as shot at to begin with. The lace in the non-heavily armored areas are made of similar material, though, are more so allow mobility, and to limit the slashing attacks of other bladed weapons that aren't lightsaber in nature.

Artilla's staff like weapon, known to be the "Sky-Cutter", is comprised of the metal known to be of the nigh-indestructible Phrik alloy. The Sky-Cutter is a retractable, dual-sided spear with six sets of blades(two sticking from each side of the hilt, and one at the middle portion between the hilt and the spear head on each end). The handle of the weapon is purposefully intended to look very similar to the handle of a lightsaber to appear much more menacing to his opponents.

Personality: Artilla was raised to be one of the most severe, stoic, and cunning of warriors within the galaxy. He is unremorseful of many of the ones that he may have been specifically hired to kill throughout the galaxy. However, he is known for his affinity toward young children, in not killing them or even actually harming them.

This is likely due to his own reflection of his childhood, that of being traumatizing and excruciating both physically and mentally. So, while he may not be necessarily kind and nurturing as his reserved disposition wouldn't allow anything more, he does have a limited care for others. Artilla didn't believe that either Jedi or Sith are right in trying to rule the galaxy(or the force) and should've both been brought to nothing.


Backstory: Artilla was born on the planet known to be Carida. Due to the planet's much higher gravitational influence, he had grown to be much stronger than the typical Nautolan. Though, it was at an early age, when he was first coming onto land, his mother was killed and he was taken away by a band of Bounty Hunters to be sold as a slave. One of them were a hidden Dark Jedi. A Zabrak by the name of Qin'Kai, that seemed to notice the physical prowess of the boy, along with his minor force sensibility. Decisively, he took Artilla under his wing. He had trained the lad in the ways of Echani and an imitation of the lost fighting style called "Juyo" when it came to melee weapons. He however, taught the boy nothing of the force.

As it were though, this man was a little too well-versed in the spectrum of taking lives, and was considered to be criminally insane. This led to a lot of torturous pain and near suicide missions that he would be sent and taken on. In these expeditions, he was often somehow shot, stabbed, and only barely survived the explosion of a ship in which Qin had hijacked. It was after the last action that Artilla was fully aware of how dangerous he was and decided to exterminate him before being potentially killed. It was a battle that Artilla didn't win, but he had caused his old teacher to flee and never saw him since.

Artilla grew one of the most notable warriors in the galaxy near, if not superior to, the likes of Boba Fett. In spite of his skill, he is not very well known, a purposeful approach though as stealth was one of his most prominent skills. Along with this, he always had a bit of a knack for technological pursuits, hence in his later years he crafted the weapon he had named the "Sky-Cutter", from the ever rare Phrik Alloy. He had been previously secretly hired by both Rebels and Imperials alike, neither knowing about it, for each of their causes. For now, however, he has decided to aid the Rebels to their cause to overthrow the Empire.

I wouldn't mind some Endor Action.

How would you feel about being tasked with taking out some patrols and reinforcements on their way to the main battlefield?

That sounds good.

Character Name: Viktor Trillhide
Alias(es): The Shut-In of the Eight Platoon
Age: 22
Species: Human

Appearance: Viktor isn't anything special. He'd a pasty white hulk of a man with a buzz-cut, wearing spectacles. He doesn't need to wear spectacles, of course--Corrective surgery is available for any sight impairments, Viktor likes their look. He also has plenty of muscle-mass, and is really generally kind of a bull of a man.

Personality: As much of an intimidating cut as Viktor gives, his voice doesn't let down. He growls rather than talks to people, and generally gives off an unfriendly atmosphere--Not on purpose, mind you, but more out of habit. He's generally extremely shy, and had an extreme distaste for being thrown into public situations as a youth which caused him to adopt a more aggressive stance in order to stave off would-be chatters, and simply never grew out of it.

The truth is that he'd more or less prefer to just work on his ship, or play a sim, rather than talk to others.

Back-Story: Viktor was born on what used to be a space-station owned by the Empire. He'd grown up wanting to be an engineer, but when a Rebel terrorist attack resulted in a breach in the hull too large for the station to remain sustainable, he'd been forced to relocate and lost everything. As such, he joined the Imperial army to both make up for his loss and exact revenge. Though mostly to make up for his loss--He doesn't hate the rebels that much.
