Taylor is of small stature standing barely at 5'1 and looking much like an adolescent girl. She knows she is far from intimidating but that doesn't stop her from carrying herself like a 200 pound combat droid. Her light blond hair is usually worn in a messy bun or pulled back into a pony tail. She has a tattoo on both sides of her neck, one is of a small cat and the other is a dagger piercing a rose. Both of the tattoos were done while she was incarcerated and were crudely done with a prison tattoo gun. Clothing wise she sticks to simple choices most commonly a pair of black pants, a white tank top and her favorite brown jacket.

Racial Skills and Abilities: Well above average intelligence, photographic memory and ability to do complex formulas in her head.
Normal Skills and Abilities: Taylor is very skilled with computers and other technology. She has yet to meet a system she couldn't hack. Her teacher classified her as having ADHD though in reality Taylor is just very skilled at multitasking and will often seem like she isn't paying attention to one task while completing another when in reality she is completely focused on both.
Weapons: She prefers not to fight tending to like being at her work station rather than fighting but during her time with the mafia she has been trained to defend herself using knifes and carries a knife in each one of her boots. Taylor also carries a pair of pistols with her but without her ocular implant's targeting she isn’t the best shot, with it she is nearly perfect.
Armor: A pair of work boots and knee pads mostly for use when she is working on the ship. For the times she goes out into the field she wears a tactical armored vest and leg guards.
Augs: An ocular implant (left eye) that is near identical to a normal eye, it allows to to interface with computers creating a digital display that only she can see. It also has a built in wifi network connector that allows her to interface with other systems. While the implant is wireless it does have a manual uplink jack that is very small and located behind her left ear. It is a top of the line implant and was costly, though Taylor used stolen funds to purchase it.

Personality: Taylor is very cocky, she knows she is smarter than most of those around her. That isn't to say she is rude about it or puts others down. She tends to be a little on the sarcastic side and can often be playful if not a bit awkward.
Likes: Computers, exploring new technology, candy (she has a sweet tooth) and drinking though she often has a hard time convincing bar tenders she is indeed old enough to drink.
Dislikes: Having to do things using low tech, being mistaken for a kid and talking about her time in jail. Additionally Taylor gets frustrated that she cannot be as active as she used to be due to a collapsed lung that she received while in prison. She easily gets winded and will feel a sharp pain at the puncture site if she over exerts herself.
Background: She excelled in school from a very young age being skipped ahead several times, though Taylor never actually finished school. Her family was a pretty average family not much standing out about them except their genius daughter. Due to her exceptional ability she was offered a place at a boarding school for the gifted where the students had the best tutors and studying equipment available. Her parents were overjoyed with the scholarship wanting the best for their daughter, Taylor on the other hand didn't quite see it that way. She felt like her parents were simply getting rid of her. Around the age of fourteen Taylor dropped out of the school and set out on her own using the skills she had learned in computers to make a living.

She began offering her services as a hacker on the dark web. That is how she became entangled in the Russian mafia, who contracted her services. It only took a few jobs for her to impress the Pakhan (leader) who then hired her exclusively. She worked for the mafia for a couple of years living quite well, until the authorities finally tracked her down. She was arrested and convicted for criminal hacking, and supporting organized crime. The prosecutors tried many times to convince her to turn on the mafia in exchange for a lesser sentence and even a pardon but Taylor knew better than to cross the mafia. Upset with her defiance the prosecutors managed to convince the judge to have her tried as an adult despite only being sixteen and she was awarded the maximum sentence of twenty years.

Once again impressed with Taylor the Pakhan ordered that she was to be protected while in prison. Taylor earned the nickname Kisa during her time in prison, it is Russian for kitty. She was given it because the prison gang recognized her as a thief and her small size reminded them of a kitty. While in prison Taylor received both of her tattoos and learned to fight with knives, not that there were many foolish enough to take on someone under the protection of the gang.

Taylor spent six years aboard a prison station under the protection of the mafia. She managed to escape when the gang broke several of its high ranking members out. The prison gang leader decided to take her with them partly because he thought her skills might come in handy during the escape and partly because he had grown fond of her. The attack on the station was a brute force attack literally blowing a hole in the side of the station. Taylor’s help wasn’t really needed aside from opening some doors that could have easily been blown open.

Once outside of jail the Pakhan set up a shop for Taylor to work out of hidden in an asteroid field that block most incoming transmissions. Taylor set up encrypted responders and relays throughout the asteroid field which allowed her connection to the outside world. The station she lived on in the asteroid field was a palace reserved for the highest members of the mafia and those most wanted who still had value. To pass the time on the asteroid station when not competing missions for mafia Taylor began studying different fields. She trained with several of the soldiers on the station improving her hand to hand combat techniques and her skill with firearms though she more successful with the former. Taylor’s shooting skills improved to the point when she used her ocular implant she was a near perfect shot. When she attempts to shoot without out it she has a fifty / fifty chance of hitting her target.

When she bored of her combat skills she moved through several fields of study, staying with each one until she bored of them. She became friends with the station’s doctor shortly after her ocular implant started malfunctioning, the doctor was able to repair it but it sparked another interest in Taylor. She began working with the doctor and learning everything she could about cybernetics. The doctor also had an interest in robotics that Taylor soon found she had as well. They worked together for several years the doctor teaching Taylor.

Taylor’s good life came to an end when she twenty-five when the asteroid field she was staying on was discovered by the Feds who raided it. Many of the high level mafia leaders were able to escape but Taylor was not quite so lucky. She was arrested again and sent to a maximum security prison station with another twenty years added to her sentence. Taylor was placed in solitary this time and was not granted access to any of the commons areas on the ship. She was allowed an hour of recreation time each day. It was during these hours that she managed to steal enough components to build a device that let her jack her ocular implant into the station’s system. It took her close to three years to gather all the part. Once she established an uplink she forged transfer orders for her to a lower security prison. The transfer orders omitted the bit that she wasn’t to have access to computers. Once she arrived at the new prison it didn’t take long for her to generate release orders and by the time prison authorities realized what happened Taylor was long gone.

She has spent the last years keeping a low profile, avoiding her previous associations with the mafia knowing that she has a warrant out for her arrest and that would be the first place the authorities would look. She mostly lives by taking small jobs and bouncing around. When she came across the PDA with the offer from the Black Star Privateers on it she thought it was a good place to settle down while still managing to stay hidden.

“Sullivan, you got a visitor.” A guard called into the common room that most of the prisoners used. The living areas of the prison were segregated by gender but the common areas were coed.

The young blonde looked up from the card game she was playing in to the guard wondering who was visiting. In the three months she had been on the prison station she had no visitors. Her family hadn't visited, during her trail they had only appeared once. Her parents didn't have much money and couldn't afford staying long only showing up for the verdict. She didn't think they would have spent the money to come visit her since they rarely sent her communications. Both her mother and father had pressed her to inform on the mafia, taking the prosecutor's deal. When Taylor had refused it had put a wedge between her and her family. “Who is it?” Taylor asked setting the cards down.

“I'm not your personal assistant Sullivan, get off your ass and find out.” The guard said, encouraging Taylor to stand up and follow him to visitation room.

Taylor groaned when the door opened and she stepped inside seeing an older woman sitting at a table. The woman was Marjorie Harrison the assistant prosecutor that had been assigned to Taylor's trial. Marjorie had tried nonstop to convince Taylor to take a deal but had no luck. Taylor started to turn around to leave the room but the guard turned her back around, shutting the door behind her. “Taylor, it good to see you. Have a seat.” Marjorie said, gesturing to the chair.

Slowly Taylor moved to the chair sitting down. “The feeling isn't mutual.” She said, not at all pleased to be sitting here with Marjorie. Turning on the mafia wasn't an option for her, the mafia had always treated her well and Taylor knew what they were capable when it came to people who betrayed them.

“Settling in well?” Marjorie asked, noticing the tattoos on Taylor's neck the rose one looking like it was fresh while the cat looked a little older. Before being sent to the prison station Taylor didn't have any tattoos. The rose with a dagger tattoo was common among the mafia symbolizing that the wearer had been incarcerated before coming of age. The cat was a marking of a thief, which technically Taylor was with the funds she had transferred and the data she had stolen. “I don't recall you having any tattoos when we were at trial. I didn't think the system allowed them, where did you get them?”

“I don't know.” Taylor said, wishing the woman would get to the point. “I don't remember.”

“You don't remember getting not one tattoo but two? Those don't look to have been with a laser imager
must have been painful.” Marjorie said, leaning closer to Taylor.

“I wouldn't know. Told you I don't know where they came from.” Taylor said, pulling back from the table.

“So you just woke up with them one day?” Marjorie said, not believing her.

“Something like that. Let's just get to the point here. I'm not a rat.” Taylor said, standing up and walking to the door. She knocked on it the guard opening it up, Taylor stepped through it turning back before leaving. “You wasted your time coming her.”

After Taylor left the room Marjorie looked to the guard who nodded and followed after Taylor. The young hacker headed back to the common room walking down the long hallway. At the end she noticed a group of women standing in the way. She looked back behind her noticing the guard wasn't there then tried to walk around them but one of the woman shoved her back. Instead of hitting the wall Taylor was caught by one of the women who held her arms while the others began hitting her over and over again until she blacked out.

Taylor woke up several days later in the medical bay with four broken ribs and a punctured lung. She received another visit from Marjorie who once again left with nothing, Taylor refusing to flip on the mafia.

Name: Anders Mars, but is known only as Geppetto by most people.

A man of an even 6 foot height and 185 pounds of lean muscle. His head is completely enclosed in his helmet and his life support is tied into the apparatus so he can never remove it. His clothing rarely changes and the circuits that power his mods glow under his skin.

Race: Cyborg
Job: Mechanic

Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4):

Willpower: Born from a lifetime of hardship and overcoming odds, Geppetto is a font of unbreaking willpower.

Focus: Because of the nature of his past job and the need of his augs Geppetto has a very keen level of focus bordering on tunnel vision.

Intelligent: While not a genius, Geppetto is blessed with a mind that can easily learn to new tricks.

Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5):

Free-Juggler: A skill he acquired from his need to keep moving to stay alive Anders is one of the galaxies top Free-Runners and Jugglers. Able to move across any landscape with flair and efficiency Geppetto is man of constant motion.

Expert Shooter: As part of his former life as an Assassin Geppetto is skilled in the use of any kind of small arms weapon/

Explosives: From tossing grenades, to rigging up an intricate network of building destroying C4, to disarming I.E.Ds Anders is skill with things that go boom.

Fighter: Like the rest of his skillset, Geppetto learned to be a vicious hand-to-hand fighter from his years as a Hired Killer. While not a master he knows many ways to inflict pain without using a weapon.

Fixer: His newest skill and one he feels the best about using Geppetto can fix most anything of a Mechanical nature from changing the transmission in a '64 Mustang to reattaching a robot's blown off arm. If it has nuts and bolts this man can fix it.


Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons): Despite giving up the life of a trained killer, logic dictate Geppetto be armed at all times.

Daggers: The weapons in the picture these are still kept in specially made sheathes built into his coat. Made of a high end carbon fiber steel they can cut through simple armor and cleave the limbs from unprotected enemies if needed.

Laser RCW: The mostly unknown love child between a sub machine gun and a laser rifle the RCW is a weapon built to resemble the old world Thompson sub machine gun, but instead of bullets it fires powerful laser bolts that can burn through your average mercenary armor.

Armor(one sensible suit of armor): As an assassin Geppetto relied more on speed and surprise to bring down enemies so armor was never a thing he thought about. But since his life has slowed down he has taken to lining his coat and pants with ballistic fiber and energy resistant resin that can allow him to take a few pops from smaller weapons and not fail.

Augs(Limit of 3):

Jadisi Advanced Assassin's helmet: Geppetto's most advance and most hated augment. The helmet that has made him a perpetual motion device gives him a high end rebreather and air filtration system. It also gives him a type of wide scanning ability that allows him study an entire landscape should he be high enough to get a bird's eye view of it. Learning the terrain and potential dangers he might face.

Samualla enhanced heart and circulation augment: A mechanical heart that pumped electrically charged blood through Geppetto's veins and circularity system. It gives him the strength and agility of an athlete in their prime. The heart gives the initial charge while the circulatory system keeps the blood and muscles supercharged as long as Geppetto is sufficiently charged.


Personality: A man spurned by society and damned by the Gods of this Age to suffer for his humanity. Geppetto has been burned by many, those who were supposed lift him up and make his life easier. Family, friends, even the corporation that gave him a second life. A hard man with a hard view on life, but a desire to bring about the end of his masters and a sharp wit gives him the social skills needed to find and keep allies. After destroying those who made him a monster Geppetto has found new purpose as a Mechanic and the peaceful life has allowed him to find peace with his fate and his augs though he still bears a burning dislike towards them.
Likes: Crooner music, the night, juggling, fixing and taking things apart, this new life, and the sunrise.
Dislikes: His augs, stopping, corporations, rap music, getting his augments worked on, and never being able to sleep.

Background:

Spoiler: Background 

The man now known as Geppetto begins on the lower end of the middle class. Youngest of six children and one of two left alive, his sister Ally being the other. His parents were two of the millions of drone worker bees on Terra Prime. They were good parents, but they were happy with their lot in life and saw no desire to improve it. Anders was different, he wanted a better life, he wanted to live with a full stomach for a day and sleep in his own bed without his cuddle happy sister sleeping next to him.
He worked any number of jobs he could find and saved up his money. He did this for seventeen years, and eventually he managed to save up enough for an electric bike which allowed him to travel to the main city for work. And he did this managing to land the perfect job with a corporation, starting in the mailroom, Anders was well on his way to living his dream of a good life with good food and his own bed.

His inherent drive and desire drove him to excel in this place and eventually drove him into the clutches of the corporate espionage. From twenty to twenty-six he was making more money than he ever thought he could and even had his own place near the corporate building. Life was good, he didn't even mind doing some of the more unsavory things as long as the pay was good. When competition grew among companies though he was forced to undergo something he never signed up for...at least he thought so...until they showed him his contract and the Augment Clause. The young man fought them with all he could even calling in lawyers to try and get out of it, but the company had him by the throat. He lost his money and wound up getting sedated as they augmented him, when he awoke his head was trapped inside a helmet and his body felt heavy and wrong.
He tried to escape, but they had him and he as forced to do his job with these abominable augs. He had no choice, but he would bide his time, by age thirty he had a plan though. He had mastered his augments, making his curse his blessing, he yanked out their control nodes and fought his way out of the corporate building, vanishing into the night. He was on the run for ten years slowly putting plans into motion to kill those that created him.

A further ten years would pass before Geppetto brought down the monsters that damned him, he watched their steel and glass castle burn down around them and he contemplated finding a nice quiet rooftop and sitting down letting the charge on his augs run out and die watching the sun come up. But his lover Turquoise found him on one of her courier missions through the city. As he had helped her she helped him, together they fled Terra Prime and lived the life they had always wished to live. Free from the monsters that sought to control them, it was bliss. She continued to work as a courier and he took up work as a Mechanic quickly learning the skill. They roamed from planet to planet almost forgetting their pasts, but all sins come back to those who sow them. Turquoise died via another assassin's bullet, and after doing some hunting Geppetto found out the man was sent by the underlings of the Corporation. One last time he took up the gun and killed his last man. After that he was back in the wind and two years ago he was hired onto the Black Star payroll as the Mechanic, and since then he has won back the peace he so dearly earned.

Medbot is a 5'8 Medical Droid weighing around 450 pounds. His skin is the color of clean bronze and his eyes are blue and red. The blue eye has a built in x-ray scanner, and the red has an MRI scanner built in. Being made of metal he has little need for clothing, but when needed he does dress in built to fit black medical scrubs.

Job: Assistant Medic

Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4):

Robo Might: A robot, even a Medical Robot is twice as strong as your average human. M.B. uses this advantage to restrains heavier patients who don't like needles

Robo Skin: Being made of metal has it's advantages. Medbot has armored skin that can protect against small arms fire, melee attacks and some energy weapons.

Swiss Army Hands: A standard feature in all Medical Bots M.B. has a wide selection of attachments he can strap onto his hands and use in his medical work.

Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5):

Medical: His programming and purpose in life. M.B. is filled with detailed files on Human and Alien anatomy, biology, medicinal techniques be it natural or synthetic, and cybernetics.

Combat Medic: While not his primary function M.B. was designed to be used on the battlefield. As such he comes with basic combat training firearms, hand-to-hand and melee, while not of the quality to make him a front line fighter it gives him enough skill to not die two seconds into CLS.

Exonet uplink: M.B. can access the medical directory from anywhere he can get plugged in.


Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons): Not being made for combat Medbot's only means of defense come from what he can use from his environment or what medical tools he can attach to his arms before being attacked. He has three primary choices at any given time.

Cryo Gun: A rapid flash freezing device, M.B. attaches this to his right arm and it allows him to shoot concentrated jets of liquid nitrogen at attackers.

Defibulator Hands: His standard issue hands come with high-power electroshock batteries that can work to taze attackers into submission.

Surgical Laser: Normally used when cutting through thick bones or armor Medbot's surgical laser attaches to his left arm and can function as a handy laser gun able to stop most attackers.

Armor(one sensible suit of armor): He is a robot built to be a combat medic, his body is made of a strong temperature resistant metal that can keep him alive in many dangerous LZs.

Augs(Limit of 3):

Optical X-ray: His blue eye which gives him the ability to X-ray scan Cyborgs. It can even look through walls and doors should they be thin enough.

Optical MRI: His red eye which gives him the ability to MRI Scan Organics for various kinds of injuries.

Personality: Medbot is surly individual, he would tell you he was programmed to save lives not gives hug. As such his bedside manner is nonexistent and because he was programmed to be mission oriented he hates idleness and is often seen as insensitive and mean. But under it his A.I. is programmed to learn and adapt to those around him. In a strange robotic way he cares very deeply for the welfare of his comrades even when he insults and forces them to move at his high-speed.

Likes: Keeping his comrades alive, Warworld, learning new things, and organization.
Dislikes: Lazness, whining, boredom, and chaos.

Background: Medbot's early history isn't one much different from the other members of his build. He was turned on one day, given his orders, and sent to the frontline. His body endured the harshest places known to man, and has fixed biologicals from one side of the Alliance to the other. But one thing that did set him apart from his fellow scalpel swinging comrades was the Advanced A.I. that was implanted in his head. To this day he's not sure if it was an accident by some absent minded developer or a meant to be, but a few years into his operation he found himself observing and questioning what he saw.

Biologicals have an insatiable need for conflict and it never made any sense to the robot. His purpose was to repair them, but he wondered why should their stupidity be rewarded with medical care and allowed to continue? These questions plagued him throughout his military career, but his programming wouldn't let him stop. He asked many of the Organics he worked with, but none of them gave a satisfactory answer. So in search of an answer the Droid filed for separation and after he was checked for an sensitive military information he was repainted and sent out. Finding work for a Doctor isn't hard in this universe, but when that Doctor comes with armored skin and built in weaponry the work flows in.

Moving from world to world MB, continued to heal stupid Organics and continued to ask why. So far his quest has proven fruitless, but now that he's working for a crew of space pirates maybe he'll find the answer...or be amused when they start singing shanties.

Spoiler: Tsarmina Uberfang 

Name: Tsarmina Anastasia Uberfang or just Mina.
Age: 18
Gender(m/f): Female
Appearance(pic and description):

Spoiler: Mina 

Like all other members of her race Mina has human torso and a long serpentine lower body. From head to tail she is 8 feet long and weighs around 190 pounds. Unlike nearly all of her people though she is very pale and lacks the usual golden diamond pattern the other Tsok say shows they are favored of the Golden One.

Her tendrils are long and a bright turquoise color adding further to her overall paleness. Her eyes, often called her most attractive feature by other races are a bright gold like a new coin. Because of her body shape she only needs to wear a top which usually consists of the short Black Star issued Engineer coat. But since she has been on her own she's picked up a liking for peasant blouses and longer and much warmer trenchcoats with lots of pockets.

Job: Assistant Engineer

Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4)

Enhanced physical attributes: Like all Skillian races Tsok are stronger, quicker, and tougher than your average human. Mina is small by her races standards, but can still toss around full grown men.

Venom: The Tsok have a potent neurotoxin in their fangs that can kill even large creatures. For females the venom goes more potent with age, because Mina is still young her venom can still kill, but it would take a few minutes for it to do that. The initial bite or spit can cause severe pain and potential blindness if she got a head shot with it.

Keen Intelligence: Mina excels at this particular ability. The Tsok are the smartest race on Skillio and have the greatest skill with technology. With only a few minutes of hands on work or teaching Mina can figure out most civilian operating systems and some military.


Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5)

Techie: An inherent skill, but one she had to teach herself the fine points of. Mina can rebuild and reprogram computers, high-tech vehicles, and hack security systems.

Pole-arm fighter: One of the few things she was actually taught Mina is skill at fighting with polearm weapons like pikes and naginatas.

Energy gunwoman: Something she learned on her own again Mina can suit rifle-gripped laser weapons with moderate skill.

Spitting cobra: While all Tsok women can spit their venom with decent accuracy, Mina has had a rougher life than most girls her age and has learned to be deadly accurate with hers.


Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons):

A simple Naginata, an old weapon made of steel and wood and about as long as her.

Fang, a laser rifle with a beam splitter mounted to the front. While not as powerful as a single beam it can hit two targets at once.

Personal defenses: When it really comes down to it, Mina can use her own fangs and venom to fight, though she isn't good at it.

Armor(one sensible suit of armor): Because of the unique body shape of the Tsok they have been responsible for creating their own clothing and armor for centuries. This is where the H.I.S.S comes in. The Holistic Interstellar Safety Suit is made unique to each Tsok because it uses their own unique venom and genetics to suit it to the personal needs of the Tsok it's being made for. It is kept in a belt around the Tsok's waist and with a press of the buckle a thick gel like substance is released and using the biolocked nanobots within the gel it quickly latches to and covers the creature's entire body. The gel is ideal for surviving in environments too dangerous for organic life and can stop small arms and energy fire.

Augs(Limit of 3): None

Personality: Despite her life as a reject and freak among her people Mina is a very curious and kindhearted girl. She is awkward at times, but only because she doesn't want to say something that might offend someone or make her look the fool. Once her nerves die down though she's creative and intuitive, she's spent much of her life watching people and as such she can sometimes tell what they're going to do next and adapt to it.

Likes: Technology, drawing, having her own room and bed, warmth, and having a home.
Dislikes: Her parents, her people, being cold, messing up, and shedding her skin.

Spoiler: Background 

Born in the Southern part of the Tsokoko Ocean on Skillio, Mina's parents were highly respected Scientists for the Tsok people. They were responsible for creating the H.I.S.S and the Adder venom gun, they were a childless couple, but it was widely beleived that any child they did have would likely go on to serve on the Tsok Committee which functioned as the Government for their people. And once it was announced Mina's mother Tatiana was pregnant many of the community celebrated.

Since the average number of Tsok children is around six per litter, it was expected that all or at least one of the younglings would go onto to greatness. Sadly that was not meant to be the case, while rare it is possible for Tsok to have only one child at a time. Thus is the case with Tsarmina Anastasia Uberfang. That itself was a disappointment, but once the girl was born and it was seen that she was ghostly pale and lacked two arms. The disappointment turned to shame and resentment. How could two perfect Tsok make such a misshapen thing? Her parents didn't want the Community to know, so they kept young Mina locked away until she was old enough to be put up for adoption at age five. Then like an old bag the young Tsok was foisted off to the only multiracial orphanage on Skillio. Called the refuse bin behind closed doors the Cooperative Child Retention Facility is located in the biggest city on Skillio, the central hub on the agreed upon neutral ground. The city was called Moordust and it was home for eleven years.

She grew up alongside fellow castoffs from the other races. Kessen, Kabbals, Tang Mongs, even another Tsok named Nicolai, but only him. It further cemented her own lack of worth, surely she and Nico weren't the only imperfect children of the Tsok race? There must be others someplace yes? But as the years grew long no other Tsok were dropped off, and a few years before her own release Nico ran away and she never saw him again. After she reached the age of sixteen she was given a few credit from the Head Master an old coat and sent back to the Ocean, but that place had forsaken her and she had no desire to return. So taking the money she hopped a ship and went off into the universe. She had few skills to make money on, but her natural affinity for tech eventually got a job aboard a Shipping company, they only dealt in spices and other food stuffs so the work was safe enough to get her scales wet and hone her technological skills. Now a year later she has moved from ship to ship getting odd jobs for enough credits to get her further away from Skillio. She had just finished fixing up some high-end carnival's robotic singing bear when she found the PDA to the Black Star, she'd heard about the crew's many adventures, and often thought how much fun it would be to be a pirate. Just going off to do what you want when you want, Carin would be the furthest away from home she has been, which was good enough for her so she quickly signed on as the Asst. Engineer and finally found a place where she wouldn't be considered a freak.

WE ARE LIVE! Ok, the IC is up ladies and gentleman the intros will be everyone waking up and heading off towards the Hangar for muster. And those of you I mentioned in the IC intro feel free to either co-op with me or post your reaction on your own. Once everyone has done an intro post I will do our first GM mover and get us on the ship then after another round or so of interaction posts we will arrive on Dorcha a 'chala and get into the meat and potatoes of this RP.

A slender woman by most definitions, standing at 5'5" and often mistaken a for a girl much younger than herself. Piercing red eyes, fair skin, short trim black hair and a typically dour disposition make up Garuda's outer image, creating an image of a young maiden rather than a trained killer. Though her matte black prosthetic legs, with metallic claw toes help disabuse all notions she is anything but.

Racial Skills and Abilities (limit of 4):

Anonymity - With so many humans in the galaxy, it's hard for anyone to tell one human for another, so Garuda takes full advantage of that by blending into crowds.

Adaptation - Garuda grew up in a hostile world that breathed life into deadly flora and fauna, it stands to reason she can survive in places just like her homeworld.

Climber - The special clawed feet of her prosthetic legs allow to climb most survives, more notable the faces of buildings and trees.

Normal Skills and Abilities(limit of 5):

War Cultist - Garuda lives and breathes combat and on her pilgrimage she keeps her skills sharp with her blades. Every stain of blood on her blades, every swings of her axes, every cut from her knife, every battle cry she lets loose is an act of worship to her faith and her zeal is uncompromising.

Agile Leaper - In another life, Garuda would have made one hell of a trapeze act. With her lithe frame and augmented limbs, she can leap and climb to her heart's content.

Reckless Shooter - Garuda is a lousy shot with guns, preferring to let accuracy be determined by volume rather than precision. That is to say, she sprays and prays. Though this has taught her how to draw a gun and squeeze a trigger pretty darn fast. After all, if she is first to draw she is first to shoot.

Weapons(Limit of 4 weapons):

Twin Tomahawks - Her most prized weapons, a pair of hand axes composed of carbon fiber that replicates the strength and durability of steel, trading the easy maintenance of metal for the ease of use of lightweight carbon.

G12 Guerrilla Carbine - A product of her homeworld's endless skirmishes and salvager culture, the Guerrilla Carbine is motorized automatic rail gun that hurls ammunition at a staggering 850 rpm. However it is an inelegant and heavy weapon with an effective range of 450 meters and a high recoil that gives it the finesse of a Kalashnikov.

Dagger - A six inch bladed combat dagger composed of a tough ceramic material. While more difficult to maintain than conventional metal blades, the blade can bypass most metal detectors.

Armor(one sensible suit of armor): Garuda's lack of self-preservation is reflected somewhat in her choice of body armor. A basic bodysuit with a carbon ballistic carapace can protect her from stab and cutting strikes, but a well placed shot with a laser pistol or high velocity pistol cartridge can and will scythe through it handily. The carapace armor covers her down to just a few inches above her knees, where her organic body ends and where her augments start. With her carapace armor she wears a helmet that's composed of the same carbon material. It provides a head lamp and toxin and smoke filter, but its HUD is rudimentary at best.

And, perhaps as a fashion preference, Garuda wears a dark nylon jacket cut at the midriff over her carapace armor.

Augs(Limit of 3):

Prosthetic Legs - Humanoid limbs that have replaced Garuda's legs from above the knee, supported by the frame of a artificial pelvis and femur bones, they boost Garura's agility. The claws on her toes aid in climbing and double as weapons when she wants to throw a kick.

Personality: Most times people see Garuda the quiet, reserved girl, who is polite to a fault and in possession of a sharp yet jovial wit. At least until she gets into a fight. One of Garuda's most defining traits are her passion and addiction to adrenaline, and if there is anything that she loves more than a good joke it is a good brawl. When her blood is boiling she turns into a devil possessed that fights with reckless abandon and shameless glee. Some of this violent behavior comes from an upbringing centered around conflict, the rest of it is undeniably something she was born with. Garuda Mara loves to fight, and damn is she good at it. Perhaps the most frightening aspect of it is that she likes to share in it; she enjoys making friends with people who know how to hold their own, considering a bloody spar a moment of genial bonding.

Likes: Fighting, jokes made in good taste, candy, combat narcotics.

Dislikes: Peace and quiet, boredom, licorice, jokes made in poor taste, acerbic wit.

Background: In the Great Human Dominion's sphere of influence, some planets are left alone for a few reasons. Some planets just don't have the resources necessary to fuel the Dominion's industries, some are so remote it's hard to maintain a firm grip, and then there are those planets that are so inhospitable than no one with a brain would try to colonize it. Sri Veela, Garuda's homeworld, barely skirts that last category. Blanketing the southern hemisphere of Sri Veela are jungles and mountains brimming with wildlife, each as dangerous as the last. Six limbed jaguars the size of vans, man eating plants that can devour a man in a single bite, mushrooms that released noxious metal eating spores. The only people to call this hellscape home are the daring and psychotic, and among them are the Daughters of Veela. A shameless murder cult that worshiped the world as a Goddess of Death, and they her will.

Despite being born to an acolyte of the Veela, Garuda always suspected her mother's dogma and the cult at large was bullshit. But she did not care, she loved her mother and the rest of the sisterhood as family and her childhood was fraught with danger and careful training as any Sri Veelan child's would. Garuda grew up a survivor, learning how to hunt and fight in a cruel world, always striving to become a better warrior. So obsessed with becoming the perfect warrior she willing had her legs replaced with cybernetics so that she could dash to her targets faster than she ever could before.

When she came of age it was time for her Pilgrimage: To wander the cosmos away from her family and see if she can survive whatever Fate threw at her. She hopped from station to station, outpost to outpost, and ship to ship. It didn't take long for Garuda's predilection for violence to get her listed by law enforcement as a violent felon and she finds herself hiding in the most unseemly of locales. Garuda now calls Carin her home away from home and has signed on with the Black Star Privateers because of their notorious reputation for getting into great danger.

Spoiler: A morning with Garuda... 

A crowd gathered around the front of the Little Aloha Ramen shop, watching a beat down play out in the neon light of the shop sign.

"DIE DIE DIE!"

Patrons of the Little Aloha Ramen shop didn't expect a fight to break out in the place between some young woman and a trio of street punks. They especially did not expect the girl to win the fight. Two of the punks were dead where they lay, each with a hand ax lodged in their skulls. The last punk lay at the mercy of Garuda, who giggled as she straddled him and pummeled his head in mercilessly with her fists.

"Lady, lady! Come on already! The poor kid's already dead!" Someone in the crowd shouted.

Garuda jolted upright, suddenly snapped out of her frenzy and wearing an innocent confused look. She looked at the stunned crowd as if finally acknowledging their presence, and she looked back down at her victim, face swollen and bloody beyond recognition. Garuda felt something dribble down her face, something warm. She tentatively poked her tongue to taste what dripped down, tasting the familiar iron like flavor of blood. She briefly pondered if it was her own blood, but realized none of it was when she checked. Suddenly a thought occurred to her.

"Oh dear, I'm late for work."

She got to her feet, fussing over the blood stains and dirt she got all over her cloths. She stepped over to the cashier, asking the man, "Pardon me, sir, but does your establishment have a restroom?" The smile she gave the cashier had a genuine and gentle manner, and would have been warming if not for how blood soaked it was. The cashier timidly point pointed him.

"T-through the kitchen, down the hall on the left..."

"Ara, thank you so much!"

Garuda bowed to the man and stepped merrily past him. Once she was out of sight, the cashier fainted.
