Personality: Letum is the kind of individual that remains calm no matter the situation, and is willing to try and calm down anyone that has lost their cool. He also has the confidence in his skills to take any challenge that is given to him without a second thought on what it might take to complete said trial or mission. He does have a problem with people that are loud mouths that don't know when to shut up. These people he chooses to just ignore, as well as anyone else that gets on his nerves.
As a Templar he has a sort of 'go with the flow attitude when it comes to interacting with people on a one on one basis. He spends his free time either lazing about the city, or in bars enjoying a drink or two. However, he loves to fight and kill things, and while fighting he is always wearing a smile.
As an Assassin he is loyal, and will do anything asked of him from his superiors.He even enjoys playing with his target to the point of being cruel. Slowly killing them. Some say that he enjoys killing way too much. Though he is starting to get a soft spot for his fellow Templars, but he will not hesitate to even kill them if they get in the way of his mission.
History: Letum was born in the slums of Sanctuary. His family were poorer than church mice so to say, but they tried their hardest to make a good life for their son. Even though they both knew that there was no way they could have done so. They were almost at their wits end with how to feed their child, let alone themselves. Then one day a strange man approached the family. Making them an offer that would be difficult for them to refuse. The man was willing to buy their son from them. Paying them enough money that they would never have to worry about going hungry for the rest of their lives. He also told them their son would be taken care of for the rest of his life.
With a heavy heart his parents agreed to the terms. They loved their son, but they wanted a better life for him than they could provide. Handing over their child. As they did they told him that he would have a better life with this man than with them. So at the tender age of six years old. The boy was given to the man to watch over. From that day forward he would never see or know what happened to his parents. The strange man introduced himself as Aaron as they were making their way to what looked like a rundown cathedral. As soon as they entered to old abandoned building they walked to the Cross that was in the back of the building.
This cross was quite a bit different than the crosses that the church worshiped, the design is completely different. They stopped at the symbol, and Aaron pushed a hidden switch. The cross moved back, revealing stairs under it, leading deep underground. As they entered the hole on the ground the cross moved back to where it was. The tunnel was dark, and looked like it was made out of brown smooth stone. He would come to know that these tunnels were catacombs built by the order. Which the section under the slums is only one of the many branches of the order. The only light that was provided was by mechanical torches that he would later find out were fueled by a natural gas.
Letum was surprised by all he had seen, and a little excited yet scared about what was going to happen to him. He had never been away from his parents, so this was a completely new experience. Aaron took the child to see the master of their order. When they entered the room an older man approached the child with kind actions and voice. He was welcomed into the order, and the older man introduced himself as Grand Master Raizel. He smiled Letum. He knew that children were the perfect recruits. They could be molded into the most loyal member of the order, and will be willing to sacrifice their lives without question. As the day turned to night Letum went to sleep, missing his parents. Thus from that day forward he was trained in the way of the assassins.
The training was intense, but the young child was determined to make his life better like his parents wanted, so he put his all into learning everything. His training ranged from Swordsmanship, Stealth, Hand to hand combat, climbing surfaces, their religion, how to kill his target, and a basic education. By the time he was fifteen years of age he was skilled enough in all of these areas to make him top of the class. Though there were only a handful of other trainees. Then came the initiation ceremony that would make him a full fledged assassin.
They all assembled at dusk in the old abandoned church. Letum and the other four recruits were ready for their first mission. The grand Master approached them from the tunnels. As he did all of the recruits went down on one knee in front of the man. They were taught to respect the position that he held. If you compared it to the church he was in the position of an Inquisitor. Smile at the newest members of his family. “Now is the time to put your training to the test. Complete your mission by sunrise. Inside of the letters you will receive is the name of your target, and what you need to acquire of theirs to prove you completed your mission!” Raizel said as he then approached each child. Once they received their orders they dispersed to find and eliminate their targets.
Letum’s target was a noble that was living in the upper regions of Sanctuary. So he needed to be quick about getting there without being seen. He made his way there, and assassinated the man without being detected. As he looked down at the man that was dead at his feet he vaguely remembered seeing him once before, but he couldn’t place where. Though he really didn’t care. A target was a target. He found the ring that was required to pass the exam, and he smiled as the corps. This was his first kill, and he found it to be exciting. “May you rest in peace eternal.” He said to the man as he then left building. He returned to the church with haste, and just so happened to be the first one back. Reporting to the Grand Master with the ring the man smiled. “You have done well, now come and enter the order as a full-fledged assassin.” Raizel said as he and Letum moved over to a cauldron.
Inside of the cauldron were red hot coals, and a couple of branding Irons. Letum took off his shirt, and turned his back to the grand master, who in turn branded Letum’s right shoulder with the mark of the order of assassins. He has taken several missions since that day. Then on the eve of his eighteenth year he was given a special mission that only he could accomplish. He has also become addicted to the drug Dolor. It hasn't fully removed his ability to feel as of yet, but he has been taking the drug since he joined the Templars.
His next mission he was to enter the Templar order and take it apart from the inside out. By taking out not only the Inquisitors that hunted them, but the Templar leader Archon Amelia Denaris. Who sends the inquisitors after the assassins. So he left the order to attend to his mission. He went through the training in the city of Zion, and attended the Trial to become a Templar. Now he is a Paladin class Templar, he fights for the Templar order and he will fulfill his mission no matter what the cost.
During his time as a Templar he has been in many battles, and tried to find an opportune moment to fulfill his mission. However while on a Templar mission they were attacked, framed for treason, and he decided to allow himself to be captured. Where he was almost convicted for treason but him and his group of Templars were acquitted by the Divine King himself. Now they work for the Divine Trinity, and on top of that he has received a new mission from Grand Master Raizel. He is assigned to actually kill a member of the Divine Trinity. Since he was allowed to choose his target, and the Trinity gave them a choice on who they will work under Letum decided that he would go after the life of the Most Noble.
