Hey Imperial, the character looks a-okay to me, but in the end it's up to Kayne!
Stormwolf, I'd say we could always use another Blackguard, but it is 100% up to you. We're more focused on who your character is than what their powers are, anyway
Quentyn stands around 5’11”. His body is lissome, an indication of his speed and agility. His shoulder blade length brown hair is tied back at the nape of his neck. His hazel eyes constantly measure his surroundings.

Quentyn keeps both silver and conventional bullets on his belt and in his jacket pockets. He wears these on his hips, with the grips pointed towards his back. To draw them he has to bring them up slightly then forward, there is a slit along most of the holsters length.
Spoiler: Knife/Dagger
Quentyn carries a few short blades on him for last resort or stealth kills. He keeps one across the back of his belt, one in his boot and one up his left sleeve. He also keeps a small push knife hidden in the coat.
Personality: Quentyn is a quiet man. Those who recall him from before he was scarred state he was different. Since then he has become more cautious; Both about his surroundings and his tongue. Quentyn is a man who lost his faith and in its place found a purpose.
History:
Quentyn was the youngest son of an Sanctuary based merchant. While his brother and sister learned the business Quentyn was fascinated by his father's bodyguard, and the men who guarded their caravans. He was oblivious to the corruption he witnessed in his father's dealings. As soon as he was of age Quentyn joined the militants.
On graduation he volunteered to serve as a town guard. Quentyn insisted on being sent to one of the border towns, resisting the strings his father tried to pull to keep him somewhere safer. It was simple and at times boring; Quentyn's duties mostly conceived of breaking up drunken brawls and babysitting miners. Any true threat from outside the town fell into the jurisdiction of the templars.
Until the day the templars weren't there. Quentyn fought best he could, however no guards training was the match for what he faced. He still doesn't know how he survived; He woke among a group of survivors, half of his face bandaged. Eventually the Templars did show up, and the town was reclaimed. As he healed Quentyn studied the other survivors and he realized that those who were saved were more eager to do as Sanctuary said. This realization caused Quentyn to begin questioning his faith.
Once he had healed Quentyn made a pilgrimage to Zion; Along the route he met a number of individuals a few of which only deepened his discontent. When he arrived he volunteered for the test to become a templar. Quentyn passed, though his opinion said it was by a hair.
He returned to the home of his father, where he acquired the funds to purchase his weapons. Whilst in Sanctuary he contacted an individual, who directed him to a group of like-minded people. He has spent the last few years helping the people of the Borderfields; While keeping an eye open for useful individuals to recruit.
Spoiler: RP Sample: Unexpected Screams
Quentyn leaned on his spear and frowned at the man in the dirt. “Have you been stirring up trouble again Malachi?”
The man in the dirt groaned his response. Quentyn shook his head and leaned down to grab Malachi by the arm to pull him to his feet. “Come along, Bess is no doubt loo-” A barely heard sound grabbed the guardsman's attention.
Quentyn spun away from the drunkard and stared towards the gates. He seemed to lean towards them as if he could hear better that way. Another guard ran up from the opposite direction. “Did you hear-”
Quentyn cut him off with a gesture. They heard it together then. A distant scream of horror. “Gather as many as you can get them to shelter.” Quentyn ordered before he hefted his spear and ran towards the gates. As he got closer he heard sounds of battle, but those sounds didn't sound right.
Men were screaming, but there was no clash of steel on steel. There were also animalistic sounds coming from ahead, the guards blood began to chill at the implications running through his head. As Quentyn reached the gate his blood froze. He was no Templar, this should not have been his fight.
As a group civilians ran past he realized it had to be. Quentyn charged the werewolf chasing the civilians; It stumbled and fell surprised. The guardsmen was already directing the civilians towards the shelters. The beast roared as it regained its feet before charging. Quentyn brought his spear to bear and thrust.
The weapon slid through the charging werewolf barely slowing it, before it caught on bone. Quentyn felt his a the werewolf struggled to come on. Suddenly another spear slammed into the werewolf, followed by another. The three humans pushed the werewolf back a step.
Quentyn glanced around at the others. The first was a man he barely knew, one who was new to the guard. The other was Malachi; The werewolf surging forward refocused Quentyn. Together they held the werewolf in place.
The respite was only temporary. The werewolf turned its attention and anger from the men holding the weapons to the weapons themselves. It struck the spear hafts shattering them one at a time. The guardsmen drew their little used swords. The werewolfs class took the recruits throat, it then lunged at Quentyn. His sword slapped the attacking limb up and away from him. The werewolfs next attack came down; The class dragging down his face.
Quentyn stumbled back stunned. He was unaware of the next attack. The only thing that saved him was a drunkard. Malachi leapt between the werewolf and Quentyn taking the brunt of the attack. The beast's claws still pierced the guards abdomen, though barely.
Together the two men fell; One dead, the other losing consciousness. The werewolf hesitated over the bodies before a fresh scream pulled it into the distance.

@Imperial: Appearance looks good! Did you saw my response at the bottom of page 4? We just need the minor addition of what assignment Kris is working for the Divine Trinity, and also how she ended up working for them in the first place. Feel free to be creative with the latter part lol
@Stormwolf: As Doc said, it's 100% up to you, Storm! We're fairly balanced with classes and alliances, so feel free to come up with any characters
@Dnafein: Character looks generally good! One little comment, I would like to see a little bit more specification. I know in our PMs we discussed that Quentyn belonged to the town of Hirod and has been in the Guild for a couple of years. Also, specification on which creature Quentyn is fighting in his IC sample. It would certainly help enrich the post if we get a better understanding if Quentyn is fighting a Vampire or a Lycan or whatever. One last thing - I mentioned this to Karma and Imperial - but we just need the minor addition of what assignment Quentyn is working on for the Guild. Here's a note for further elaboration.
Spoiler: Note for new players
"Please be aware that both alliances will assign you to either one of three tasks.
The Divine Trinity will assign you to either help rebuild the Templar Order and remove its corruption, assist Sanctuary's law enforcement and clean up the streets from criminals, or go out to the Borderfields to assist the townspeople out there. Mathias, Ellendra, and Letharos will be your points of contracts respectively.
The Assassin's Guild will assign you to espionage missions to spy on Sanctuary's politicians/templars and possibly assassinate someone, sabotage the Pilgrimage and find a way to stop the Masked Inquisitor, or assist with people of the Borderfields and recruit more members to the Guild's cause. Cox, Raizel, and Dalton will be your respective points of contact.
Make sure to add one of these three assignments in your character's background, please!"
What objectives would characters beholden to rogue third parties be doing? Some of Iago's overall goals run parallel with objectives shared by the Trinity and Assassins.

3rd parties (like Iago and Jerris) don't have any specific objectives yet - mainly because I intend for this RP to be a bit more character-driven than plot-driven compared to the last RP. You are more than welcomed to come up with objectives on your own, or we can scheme things together behind the scenes via PMs
